Canton food tours are the best! My husband and I have gone on many of them and every single time is a great experience! Definitely a fun night with friends or family. Amazing food and always a great tour guide! Thank you so much for a wonderful time

This was a unique, fun, and delicious experience! I wasn't sure to expect going in, but our tour was filled with a wide variety of delicious foods, and we got to learn about Canton along the way! Everything operated seamlessly as we went from location to location, with interesting facts in between. A fun way to eat your way through the city with friends!

I went on another Canton Food Tour last week, this time a walking tour. It was great fun and very informative again. This time the amount of food we got was more reasonable (still plenty to replace a meal and no one left hungry, but not the outrageous portions from last time). We visited Bender's Tavern, Journey art gallery, Deli Ohio, and Basil Asian Bistro, as well as a few other informative/historical stops along the way. You should definitely check out these tours! They also offer tours in Wooster, which I'd like to try next time.

I went on a custom tour with some relatives with Canton Food Tours this weekend, and we all had a fantastic time. Barb, the owner and our tour guide, drove us around in food tour van, which was clean and spacious. She did an excellent job. We were all really impressed with her stories and anecdotes about Canton history. We weren't really expecting that on a food tour, but some of the group member said it ended up being their favorite part of the day. Our first stop was Elemental Arts, a collection of shops and studios with interesting furniture and vintage clothing. Next we visited the new Basil Asian Bistro. We sampled a couple types of sushi, pad thai, and (my personal favorite from the entire tour) a dessert of tempura bananas and coconut ice cream. Tony, our host at Basil was very friendly and did a great job explaining the dishes he brought out to us. When we arrived at Hazel Artisan Bakery, there were already platters of desserts laid out for us. We got to sample at least 6 different pastries, which were all amazingly delicious and beautiful. There was so much food here that we got to take some of it home with us. We also got a cup a soup and two half sandwiches. I especially liked that we had a chance to buy some bread from the bakery to take home. Next we visited Kennedy's Barbecue to sample some of their famous ham and bean soup. We also got to try their pulled pork sandwich, ham sandwich, and special secret recipe relish. We then drove around monument park and West Lawn Cemetary and learned all about President McKinley and the monument. Our final stop on the tour was for a Bittner at Taggart's ice cream. Our tour started at 2:00pm, and took about 3.5 hours. The timing was nice because none of the places we visited were very busy while we were there, so the chefs and owners were able to come out and talk to our group and explain about the history of their establishment and describe the foods we were eating. We didn't do much walking, but I bet the walking tours would be really fun. We got more food than we cared to eat, but it was all really delicious. Best of all, we all thought it was an awesome value at just $42. We all agreed that the food alone was worth that much, let alone the extra stops and history lessons along the way, and the goodie bag of Canton souveniers we got to take home.

Canton Food Tours is a must for anyone in NE Ohio! We participated in the Warehouse Tour. Not only was the food excellent, but the history and art incorporated into the tour was unexpectedly delightful. The tour guide was knowledgeable and intriguing and included just enough information between the food stops. The food was excellent. The restaurants included a mix of old and new, sophisticated and simple. As someone who grew up in Canton, but has lived elsewhere for the past 14 years, I was excited to see the revival that has taken place in downtown Canton. You will leave very full and wanting to return.

Barb was a fantastic tour guide and the food was great as well! Loved experiencing downtown Canton is this capacity, would definitely recommend!

Had a great time last night, food was terrific as was the tour guide Barb. Highly recommend ....come hungry....not your typical food tour, where you get little tastes ....so much delicious food we had to bring leftovers home !

Our group had a lovely afternoon in downtown Canton on the Canton Food Tour. Our tour guide, Cathy, was great—giving us interesting information and taking us to great places while also giving us time to enjoy delicious food and socialize with each other. I highly recommend this tour as a way to experience Canton!

Barb is very knowledgeable on Canton history and the food stops we’re fabulous. Do not eat breakfast before doing this tour as we took leftovers home. Bender’s Tavern turtle soup and halibut over humus with Moroccan spices was scrumptious. Street Side tacos and chip flight was delicious. Basil Thai chicken stir fry and rice was very tasty. Come hungry!

Barb was extremely knowledgeable about the local history of not only the restaurants but the whole area. As someone that has lived local most of his life I learned lots of new info about canton and got to eat a ton of great food. The potions from each of our four stops added up to a lot and I was really full by the end. Everyone in our group had a great time..... Thanks Barb

Visited a variety of eateries (good food), received a great tour of the Canton Down Town area with a lot of interesting History thrown in. Tour guide was very knowledgable about the area and history of Canton.
