Slipknot Announce Knotfest Roadshow North America 2019 With Special Guests Volbeat, Gojira & Behemoth

Reveal August 9 th Release Date For Anticipated New Studio Album

SLIPKNOT have announced their live return, unveiling details of their massive Knotfest Roadshow headline tour set to traverse across North America this summer. Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth will join as special guests on all dates. Produced by Live Nation, the 29-city outing will kick off July 26 th in Mountain View, CA at Shoreline Amphitheater and continue through September 8 th where it will conclude with a performance at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX (see itinerary below).

SLIPKNOT have also revealed that they will release their long awaited new studio album on August 9 th .  Each pair of tickets purchased online for Slipknot’s 2019 tour comes with a digital copy of their upcoming new album, scheduled for release August 9, 2019. Tickets for SLIPKNOT’s summer tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 8 th at 10:00AM local time at  LiveNation.com . A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available.  Premium members of Slipknot fan club Outside the 9 get first access to pre-sale tickets starting March 5th at 10 AM local time (join Outside the 9 now  here ). Citi is the official presale credit card for the tour ,  and Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 5 th at 12:00PMlocal time until Thursday, March 7 th at 10:00PM local time.

Slipknot Announces 2019 Summer Tour, New Album Release Date

Slipknot will return to the road this summer for a run of 29 headlining shows scheduled to begin on July 26th at  Shoreline Amphitheatre  in Mountain View, CA.  Volbeat , Gojira , and BEHEMOTH  will serve as support throughout the tour.

The newly-announced run of shows will fall under their  KNOTFEST Roadshow  banner, and will take the popular metal band to the  USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, UT (8/1); Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ (8/4); Pepsi Center in Denver, CO (8/6); Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL (8/11);  Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA (8/14); Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO (8/18);  Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY (8/21);  The Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA (8/27);  BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ (8/31);  MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL (9/4); and  Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX (9/7) before wrapping with a show at  The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion  in The Woodlands, TX on 9/8.

Each pair of tickets sold for shows on the upcoming tour will come with a free digital download of the band’s forthcoming studio album. The as yet untitled new album, which will be Slipknot’s first studio effort since 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter , is set to arrive on August 9th.

Slipknot Kick Off 2019 North American Tour – Set List, Videos

Slipknot kicked off their Slipknot Roadshow North American tour at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA last night with a 17-song performance. It was their first full concert appearance in the U.S. since they played Loudfest in Louisville, KY in October 2016.

The concert began with playback of the AC/DC classic “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” and their own track “(515)” before the band opened with “People = Shit.” The set list covered their five previous albums along with “Unsainted” from upcoming LP We Are Not Your Kind and last year’s standalone single “All Out Life.”

Slipknot performed with a new percussionist in place of Chris Fehn, who departed acrimoniously in March. The new member has not been named although fans have dubbed him “Tortilla Man” because of his mask, and have speculated that he’s been photographed alongside other band members.

The roadshow experience includes almost five hours of life music with assistance from Volbeat , Gojira and Behemoth , along with an immersive Slipknot museum. The North American tour runs until September 8  with We Are Not Your Kind due for release on August 9.

Slipknot announce Knotfest Roadshow 2019 summer tour, reveal album release date

Get ready, Maggots! Slipknot are taking their Knotfest on the road this summer. The band’s “Knotfest Roadshow” 2019 North American tour features a stacked lineup, with Slipknot headlining a bill that includes Volbeat , Gojira , and Behemoth .

With the tagline, “A Mind-Altering Collision of Music, Art and Culture”, the Knotfest Roadshow will launch July 26th in Mountain View, California, and run through a September 8th stop in The Woodlands, Texas.

As previously reported, Slipknot will be playing the Iowa State Fair on August 10th in Des Moines. For that show, they’ll be joined by Gojira only.

Tickets for “Knotfest Roadshow” will go on sale this Friday, March 8th, via Live Nation , with various pre-sales happening earlier. Once tickets sell out, they’ll be available via StubHub .

Along with the tour announcement, Slipknot have also revealed that their highly anticipated new album will arrive on August 9th. In fact, fans who purchase a pair of tickets to the Knotfest Roadshow will receive a digital copy of the as-yet-untitled disc.

So far, the only taste of the new album we’ve gotten is the single “All Out Life” , which Slipknot dropped as a Halloween surprise last year. The band has been busy in the studio in recent weeks working on the album .

Members of Slipknot will be appearing this Thursday (March 7th) at Los Angeles skate shop Brooklyn Projects for a “Knotfest Roadshow” event, where tickets and exclusive merchandise will be on sale.

Slipknot announce Knotfest Roadshow 2019 summer tour, reveal album release date

Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth will join Slipknot on the North American trek

Get ready, Maggots! Slipknot are taking their Knotfest on the road this summer. The band’s “Knotfest Roadshow” 2019 North American tour features a stacked lineup, with Slipknot headlining a bill that includes Volbeat , Gojira , and Behemoth .

With the tagline, “A Mind-Altering Collision of Music, Art and Culture”, the Knotfest Roadshow will launch July 26th in Mountain View, California, and run through a September 8th stop in The Woodlands, Texas.

As previously reported, Slipknot will be playing the Iowa State Fair on August 10th in Des Moines. For that show, they’ll be joined by Gojira only.

Tickets for “Knotfest Roadshow” will go on sale this Friday, March 8th, via Live Nation , with various pre-sales happening earlier. Once tickets sell out, they’ll be available via StubHub .

Along with the tour announcement, Slipknot have also revealed that their highly anticipated new album will arrive on August 9th. In fact, fans who purchase a pair of tickets to the Knotfest Roadshow will receive a digital copy of the as-yet-untitled disc.

So far, the only taste of the new album we’ve gotten is the single “All Out Life” , which Slipknot dropped as a Halloween surprise last year. The band has been busy in the studio in recent weeks working on the album .

Members of Slipknot will be appearing this Thursday (March 7th)  at Los Angeles skate shop Brooklyn Projects for a “Knotfest Roadshow” event, where tickets and exclusive merchandise will be on sale.

Slipknot, Korn, Breaking Benjamin + More 2019 Tours Confirmed

Live Nation has announced the details for their 2019 Ticket to Rock program, which confirms tours from Slipknot , Korn , Breaking Benjamin and various other top-tier rock and metal groups. Read a brief statement from their announcement below.

Today Live Nation unveiled details for the 2019 Ticket to Rock– one ticket that gets fans in to some of the hottest rock shows all summer long. Artists included in this year’s package are: Alice in Chains, Breaking Benjamin, Behemoth, Chevelle, Gojira, Korn, Slipknot, Underoath, Volbeat & more. Full lineups and dates for the participating tours to be announced soon. In select cities, Shinedownand Slayerwill also be a part of the package.   Ticket to Rock makes it easier than ever for fans to get tickets to see some of their most anticipated rock bands live at an amphitheater near them this summer. The 3 show packages start at just $59 and 4 show packages in select cities that include Shinedown or Slayer start at $69. Ticket packages will go on sale beginning today at 12pm local time at  LiveNation.com .
