In-Person Tours
*All tours are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. We prioritize the safety of our student staff and guests. In the event of a tour cancellation, registered guests will be notified via email. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
Main Campus Weekday Tours:
- Monday – Friday at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, excluding holidays and closures. Please note: tours may not be available due to University conflicts such as Orientation or Move-In. Please check the link below for availability.
- This guided walking tour begins in the main lobby (2nd floor) of the Recreation and Wellness Center.
- This tour shows at least one style of traditional shared bedrooms in suite-style housing.
- This tour is best for incoming freshmen and their guests. Transfer students are not eligible to live in these communities and should tour our NorthView community below.
- Reservations are required for each person in your group. Individuals may register up to 10 guests per reservation
- Groups of more than 10 should use our group tours request form at the bottom of this page to book a private tour.
Book a main campus housing tour
NorthView Daily Tours:
- Monday – Sunday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, excluding holidays and closures.
- This guided tour is available on a drop-in basis. Request a tour at the NorthView first-floor desk located in the lobby.
- This tour is recommended for transfer and graduate students.
Towers Walk-In Tours:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, excluding holidays and closures.
- Tours of the Towers community take please in Tower 1. When facing the front of the Addition Arena, it is the first tower on the left
- Upon arrival to the front door, call the number displayed on the sign to be let in the building. Be sure to state that you are there for a housing tour.
- This tour is recommended for students interested in an annual agreement or apartment style housing.
- No registration necessary, tours will be given on a walk-in basis during the scheduled hours.

Groups of 10 or more guests. Must submit request with at least 24 hours advance notice from your requested tour date.

Tours of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management campus begin with a 15-minute information session, followed by a 45-minute walking tour of the campus led by a Rosen College student ambassador. You may preview the Rosen College Apartments during your tour. Campus tours are limited in size, so sign up early; walk-ins will be accommodated only on a space-available basis.

Take a Tour
Students interested in programs within the School of Visual Arts and Design are encouraged to tour our art studios and other computer labs. Each tour begins with an information session presented by the SVAD advising team with an overview of each program and their requirements. Tours are conducted by faculty, staff, alumni and student ambassadors who are enrolled in an SVAD program. These sessions and tours are offered together and are scheduled on select Fridays (except for holidays). Large groups or schools should contact our office ahead of time to make arrangements. Tour Registration To register for an in-person campus tour, please follow these steps:
- Select the date you wish to visit using the calendar
- Select an available tour time
- Complete the campus tour registration form
Tours may be limited and/or temporarily suspended during breaks in the academic year, such as during intersessions and university winter and spring break.
If your desired tour date is unavailable, please select a different date. Walk-ins will not be accommodated on guided tours but guests are always welcome to sign up for the next available tour. Integrated Campus Tours: The first Friday of every month is an integrated tour with Valencia College. Prospective students and families that sign up for this tour will receive information about both institutions. A ll other Fridays will be UCF specific tours only. The FIEA Master of Science degree is designed with an accelerated curriculum and affordable tuition resulting in a 16-month continuous program at a cost significantly less than other US competitive programs . The program has direct support from the State of Florida which allows for a program tuition total cost of $32,940 (in-state) and $57,672 (out-of-state).
The cost of tuition includes all coursework, materials, supplies, books and a state-of-the art laptop computer which the student retains after graduation. The program offers a final semester paid internship opportunity whereby students can be in the industry within 12 months of enrollment. FIEA has on-site housing, scholarship and fellowship opportunities that can reduce the overall cost as well.

NIT bracket 2024: Tournament schedule, scores, Seton Hall vs. Georgia, Utah vs. Indiana State in semifinals
The nit semifinals are set for hinkle fieldhouse on tuesday.
The 2024 NIT semifinals are set after Utah and Seton Hall each secured victories Wednesday to move on to historic at Hinkle Fieldhouse next week.
No. 1 seed Seton Hall defeated UNLV 91-68 behind 16 points and 10 assists from Kadary Richmond. Seton Hall guard Al-Amir Dawes scored a game-high 21 points and Dre Davis added 14 in the win. The Pirates will face No. 4 seed Georgia with a trip to the championship game on the line next week.
No. 2 seed Utah eliminated VCU 74-54 behind a triple double (18 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds) from Utah guard Deivon Smith. Gabe Madsen scored 18 points and Branden Carlson added 17 to help the Utes advance. Utah will face Indiana State in the semifinals.
Tuesday's opening game of the quarterfinals featured No. 4 seed Georgia upsetting No. 2 seed Ohio State 79-77 on the road. Georgia guard Noah Thomasson scored a team-high 21 points, and Blue Cain added 17 in the win.
Ohio State ends its season with a 22-14 record. The Buckeyes will head into the offseason with newly elevated coach Jake Diebler looking to retool the roster ahead of Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington joining the Big Ten this summer.
Also, Tuesday, Indiana State eliminated Cincinnati 85-81. Indiana State star Robbie Avila scored 22 points and Isaiah Swope added 18. Cincinnati ends its season with a 22-15 record. The Bearcats were in their first season as a member of the Big 12 alongside BYU, Houston, and UCF.

Ucf introduces new academic calendar.
UCF’s 2024-25 academic calendar is introducing accelerated terms that will provide students with greater flexibility and shortened pathways to obtaining a degree. They also support the university’s strategic efforts to become preeminent, which carries additional funding to enhance our excellence and impact.
Here’s What You Need to Know
- UCF colleges will determine the courses, if any, that they’ll offer in the accelerated sessions. Classes available in accelerated semesters will be limited at first.
- Session F: First eight weeks
- Session G: Second eight weeks
- Maymester session spans four weeks in May and is part of the summer semester.
- Asynchronous Winter Intersession (online only) takes place mid-December through early January and is part of the spring semester.
The summer semester will continue to offer sessions A, B, C, and D.

General questions.
The new accelerated sessions allow students to select courses that suit their schedules and earn their degrees in a timely fashion. They also support the university’s strategic efforts to improve undergraduate graduation rates, a key metric for the State University System of Florida’s preeminence status, which carries additional funding to enhance the excellence and impact of UCF.
On March 4, Provost Johnson will email all students announcing the new academic calendar. The communication will include a link to a website that will include a comprehensive FAQ.
Beginning in the 2024-25 academic year, UCF is providing additional class scheduling options to colleges. They will determine the courses (undergraduate- and graduate-level) that will be offered during the accelerated terms.
- Winter Intersession (online only) takes place mid-December through early January and is part of the spring semester.
The calendar launches in the 2024-25 academic year. You will be able to register for accelerated terms for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters. Maymester will be offered for the first time in Summer 2024.
UCF’s colleges have the option to offer courses during the accelerated semesters and will determine if they will offer any classes. Available courses will be listed in mySchedule Builder during the term’s registration period. Classes available in accelerated semesters will be limited at first.
New undergraduate FTIC and transfer students cannot enroll in Maymester or Winter Intersession their first semester they begin to take classes.
UCF’s colleges will determine the graduate and undergraduate courses and degree programs that will be offered during the accelerated sessions.
The material covered is the same as a full-term class taught in a shorter time. Students taking classes in accelerated sessions should expect longer class times (except for the Winter Intersession that is asynchronous and online) and learning to happen at a quicker pace.
There is no change to UCF’s admissions process. New FTIC and transfer students cannot enroll in Maymester or Winter Intersession the first semester they begin to take classes.
Yes. Students will have the option to add, drop, and withdraw from courses in all UCF terms. These deadlines will be published in the academic calendar .
UCF’s Withdrawal Policy applies to all terms. Visit the Withdrawal Policy page for information.
Colleges will determine the courses available with Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Grading. UCF’s S/U grading policy remains the same.

Asynchronous Online Winter Intersession
Winter Intersession is an asynchronous online, intensive three-week session that offers the same credit as traditional semester-length classes.
If students need assistance during the term, they should contact the appropriate office (e.g., Office of Student Financial Assistance and Registrar’s Office).
The Registrar’s Office will provide limited phone support over the winter break. The service is limited to live phone calls. Emails will not be monitored. Students needing phone support from the Registrar’s Office should call 407-823-3100.
CDL has always provided some limited support service during the university’s winter break. This service consists of several hours a day of email monitoring and responding on all days except actual holidays (e.g., Christmas and New Year’s Day). Phone service is not available. At this point, we intend to maintain this existing level of Webcourses email support during the Winter Intersession.
Yes. The Maymester is summer enrollment.
Yes. Winter Intersession is spring enrollment.
No. UCF’s policy has not changed. You can take up to 17 credit hours across all term sessions.
Student athletes should consult with Academic Services for Student Athletes regarding enrollment in these new sessions.
International students should contact UCF Global regarding the impact of enrollment in these new sessions on immigration or SEVIS matters.
Student veterans and active-duty military should consult with the Office of Military and Veteran Student Success .

Registration will occur in myUCF through the normal registration process. Students will register for Maymester courses during summer registration and Winter Intersession courses during spring registration.
New FTIC and transfer students cannot enroll in Maymester or Winter Intersession their first semester they begin to take classes.

Yes. Faculty who plan to teach during the Maymester or Winter Intersession should contact their instructional designer (ID) as soon as possible to begin the course redesign process. Faculty must already be credentialed to teach online. Waiting too long to engage with an ID and other CDL services may result in an inability to provide support in time.
