Like all of Pink Adventure’s tours that run from Sedona , this outing begins at Pink Jeep Plaza within the city limits of Sedona. You’ll hop in one of Pink Adventure Tours’ custom-designed pink Jeep Wranglers and head off in search of tranquility—and the most photogenic spots around town! As you travel along, your guide will explain to you the history around all the different legends involving Sedona’s role as one of the world’s foremost energy centers. You’ll personally stop at a couple different vortex sites—just how many you visit on your tour depends on how long you and your group want to meditate at and/or commune with each vortex. As you drive from site-to-site, you’ll also be able to see many of Sedona’s most famous landmarks, too. This tour is offered 9 times each day, with tours running regularly on-the-hour, every hour, between 7:00am and 3:00pm. Pink Jeep Tours, Sedona: Magnificent Views and Good Fun

I’m always up for a jeep tour. The more interesting the geography, the better, and Sedona is one place that begs for jeep travel. Pink Jeep Tours are a Sedona classic and unless you’ve rented your own jeep, you really should do a tour to see the area from this perspective. It’s a blast.

When you go to Sedona, you hear a lot about energy vortexes, so I took the 2.5 hour Touch the Earth Vortex Tour because I wanted to see what that was all about. This tour takes you to different sites known for having a strong energy pull.

During the tour, the driver stops at various locations, and you get out and walk around and check out the area. The views are breathtaking. Red earth, rocks that look like sculptures, and plant life that is exciting to those of us who are from a totally different climate. If you’re from the Pacific Northwest as I am, this terrain feels a little like another planet, and that is amazing. Our guide educated us about the various plants like Cowboy Killers (a succulent with sharp enough barbs to impale you), juniper, and prickly pear.

As far as “energy vortex” vibes, I can’t say I felt anything woo-woo, though I kind of feel like I’m in an energy vortex any time I’m in nature, in a spectacular place like this. You can’t help but feel like you are on sacred ground, the grandeur is overwhelming.

I also felt like I was in the Wild West. It’s wonderful to be in a wide open space where you can see for miles. no noise, just peace and sublime beauty. Our driver was excellent, she shared her story about how she ended up in Sedona (a lot of people in Sedona have fascinating stories about how they came to live there), and gave us local knowledge about the areas. It was an authentic experience and not at all hokey or cheesy. It didn’t feel like a “tour,” you know what I mean? I’ve been on tours that nearly wrecked the location for me because they were so commercialized, but this particular tour was almost like hanging out with friends. The other people on the jeep were super cool too, I got really lucky with my group.

We did not visit the touristy vortexes which was excellent, we got to see some of the places that locals know about and frequent. Mystic Vista was magnificent, and we still got to see the iconic Cathedral Rock, though from another vantage point. It was wonderful, I would do it again in a second.
