Day 3: Visit Coptic Cairo & The Virgin Mary Tree - The Shadow of Jesus-Lunch

Their most famous church is that of El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church , built over one of the gateways into the old fortress, its nave suspended above the passageway. The pieces of the buried stick then flourished and emanated a pleasing scent. Jesus drank from the spring and numerous balsam trees grew on the spot. The famous Arab historian Al-Maqrizi later described the Holy Family’s journey in Egypt in the mid-15th century and mentions that they had settled in Matareya by a stream. He recounts how when the Virgin Mary washed Jesus’s clothes in the stream, the water flooded the nearby land where balsam trees began to grow. Al-Maqrizi adds that the balsam oil from the trees was prized for use in baptism. It is said that as the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the child Jesus tried to escape from two brigands who were pursuing them, the trunk of the sycamore tree also miraculously opened its bark, allowing them to hide inside, escaping detection. The tree is said to have medicinal properties, which is why its branches have been depleted by pilgrims. Nearby, the spring where the Virgin Mary is said to have bathed Jesus is also part of the miracles of the place because of its healing water. After that back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4: Off the Beaten Path Visit Wadi El Natrun Monasteries-Monks of the Desert-Lunch

Located 100 km from Cairo, Wadi El-Natrun (Valley of Natrun Salt) is an area that is widely known as one of the cradles of ancient Coptic monasteries in Egypt. These monasteries include relics of several saints, ancient churches, as well as murals, paintings, and stories dating back years ago. Due to several attacks on the monks and the monasteries in Wadi El-Natrun, out of 700 monasteries, only four have survived to date. The Monastery of Saint Bishoy is one of the most popular monasteries in Egypt. Founded by its namesake, this monastery contains the relics of many saints, including Saint Bishoy himself. At the time, Berber tribes from the west repeatedly attacked monasteries, especially in that area. This is why a draw bridge was built for them to use as security whenever they were attacked. Saint Mary Coptic Orthodox Monastery (The Syrian Monastery ‘El-Sourian’) Located nearly 500 meters northwest of the Monastery of Saint Bishoy, this monastery was founded by a group of monks from Saint Bishoy in the sixth century. It was initially called the Monastery of Saint Mary Deipara, and later the Syrian Monastery because there was a time when the Syrian monks settled there with the Coptic monks, forming a mixed community. The monastery includes a mysterious cave that has a rope tied to its roof, which St. Bishoy used to tie his beard so he would not fall asleep while praying. Saint Mary (Al-Baramos) Monastery, as was founded by Saint Macarius the Great in 335 AD, several sources say that this may be the very first monastery in Wadi El-Natrun, where Saint Macarius lived and devoted himself to monastic life. Walls were built around the monastery, to protect it from possible attacks by the Berbers and Bedouins. The Monastery of Abu Makar , spreading across an area of more than 11 square kilometers, this monastery was also built by Saint Makarius, who was known as the father of the monks in Wadi El-Natrun. This monastery is famous for its discovery of the relics of Saint John the Baptist and prophet Elisha, which took place during the restoration of the big Church of Saint Macarius. Day 5: Alexandria the Birth of Christianity in Egypt-Saint Mark Cathedral & Catacomb Tomb-Lunch

Day 6: Visit Prophet Moses Springs & Saint Catherine's Monastery & Mount of Sinai -Lunch & Dinner

Your day starts with breakfast then drive to the Sinai Peninsula to Mount of Sinai and St, Catherine’s Monastery (6 hours driving with some stops) on the way stop at Moses Springs , Egypt, or in Arabic Oyun Musa located about 16 miles south of the Tunnel, which connects the mainland of Egypt with Sinai, it is believed that this is the Springs of Moses, Moses is said to have, upon the advice of God, throw a special tree into the brackish water which made it drinkable. The monastery is also especially dedicated to the holy prophets Moses and Elias, who both came to this mountain, and who both spoke with Christ at the Transfiguration. More recently, it has been known as Saint Catherine’s Monastery. This remains its name today, though the monastery has not lost its earlier dedications, after this spiritual visit back to your hotel. I just watched the Gethsemane video clip and relived my March 2013 experience.  I remember the old gnarled olive trees.  If they could only speak!  My trip to Israel was a life-changing experience.  I thoroughly enjoyed it and I learned so much.  I’d do it again as soon as it becomes possible.  As I continue to read my Bible I feel the need to revisit and heighten my appreciation for the land where my Lord lived while on earth.  The Bible really comes alive after visiting Israel.  Just one simple way is to recollect the large shrub covered with yellow flowers produced from the tiny mustard seed.  When we crossed the Adam bridge, our host mentioned the Jericho crossing.  I had never before noticed the name Adam in the book of Joshua!  Now I never miss it!  Sailing on the Sea of Galilee was unforgettable.  Walking on the Via Dolorosa was a pensive journey and the Empty Tomb brought a feeling of exhilaration.  There were so many places that brought my Bible alive – too many to mention. Even as I write memories are flooding my mind.  As I said, I would go again.

This was a trip of a lifetime. More than I even had hoped. Our guide Malcolm was terrific and one of the most educated and informational people I have ever run across. The food was spectacular. The accommodations were great. Each day was filled with wonderful sites and a look back in history. Some of my favorite moments were the times we were singing in churches or the Shepherd's cave, the Sea of Galilee boat ride, communion at the garden tomb and the Holocaust museum. Having a rededication of my baptism in the Jordan River was a memorable experience. If I would have changed anything it would have been had to have more time at the museum as there was so much to see there. I also loved going to the marketplace and experiencing what life is like for people who live there. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I have been sharing it with all I am coming in contact with. Everything was well planned and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

However, this North African state stays proud, welcoming, and accessible. And with treasures as timeless as the temples and pyramids of the Nile to shout about, it’s now not someplace that’s going to slip from public recognition any time soon. A time out here nevertheless very much has the achievable to thrill.

In many ways, there are two Egypts. The first is the Egypt of Cairo and the Nile, bustling medieval bazaars, noseless Sphinxes, river cruises, and Agatha Christie-era exoticism. The second, and just as fundamental to many visitors, is the Egypt of the Red Sea, where large-scale modern accommodations cater to sun-seekers and scuba divers. Sharm el Sheikh, with its world-class diving, high-end accommodations, and desolate tract adventures, is the most satisfactory known of them.

The Pharaohs of Egypt

The Pharaohs constructed most of the country’s ancient treasures at some stage. The Pyramids of Giza (the sole survivors of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World); the lotus-columned temples of Luxor and Karnak; the Valley of the Kings; Aswan and the temples of Abu Simbel: strung alongside the Nile, these monuments have drawn site visitors for centuries. They represent a lasting legacy of one of the most fabled periods of human history.

Of course, the country is exceptionally understood no longer so much for its first-rate monuments or its coral reefs, high-quality even though they are, however, thru its people. Bartering for a good buy in Cairo’s ancient Khan al-Khalili bazaar, taking tea and falling into a long conversation with a local, or truly stopping awhile in a faraway village, silent but for the chatter of hooves on the tarmac, will give a glimpse of a country full of character, color, and fortitude.

Egypt is a large country with plenty of range in its climate; when it’s chilly and moist in Alexandria, it can be ravishingly hot in Aswan.

Best time to visit Egypt

The first-class time to go to most sights, which include the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings, or diving in the Red Sea, is from February to April and October to November. During these months, the warmness reminds you that it is the ‘Land of the Sun,’ two, however, not too warm to be enjoyable. The downside is that these are visitors’ most popular times of the year. Currently, the skies and sea are a perfect blue.

During April, the hot and dusty Khamsin wind originates from the Sahara, which can potentially cause trouble for touring sights. If an extreme sandstorm occurs, it can reduce visibility to only a few meters. During the hot, dry summers (June-August), there’s continually the risk of dehydration and warmth exhaustion, which would possibly connect site visitors indoors during the early afternoon.

Winters (November-February) are commonly mild and regularly overcast, leaving the barren region and its ancient monuments searching lackluster. Rainfall is negligible besides on the coast. Loose, lightweight, modest cotton and linens, with warmer garments for winter and cooler evenings, are culturally and climatically suitable. Most of Egypt’s landmass consists of a flat and largely featureless desert, the traditional home of the roaming Bedouin.

Importance of the Mediterranean Sea and Suez Canal

The Mediterranean Sea forms Egypt’s northern border, bringing cooler weather to the seaboard metropolis of Alexandria and imparting a coastal getaway for Cairo’s residents. To the east lies the mountainous Sinai Peninsula, which borders Israel and the Palestinian Territories; to the south, the deserts of Egypt quietly roll into the deserts of Sudan; to the west, the Great Western Desert forms a nearly seamless desolate tract via Libya and beyond.

The Suez Canal divides Sinai from the main landmass of Africa. For centuries, however, the River Nile, plied by a felucca (traditional Nile cruising boats), supplied the main conduit for trade along the country’s length. Railways and roads now compete for that distinction; however, the Nile stays a necessary monetary and cultural artery.

The Nile perfuses the Delta north of Cairo, assisting 90% of the population in a flooded land of cotton and rice-growing crops. The river’s efficiency has been reduced because of the construction of the Aswan Dam; on the fantastic side, the dam has supplied the country with a secure and dependable electricity grant – and has had the side effect of keeping crocodiles out.

FIFTEEN DAY TOUR

Day 1 - MONDAY Departure on your way to Egypt , The Land of the Pharaohs.

Day 2 - TUESDAY Egypt W elcome to Egypt , upon arrival into Cairo International Airport you will clear immigration and customs formalities, and met outside customs by our representative for private transfer to your hotel in Previous Left arrow key Next Right arrow key     Close Cairo for evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 3 – WEDNESDAY Pyramid / Sphinx / Solar Boat / Egyptian Museum / Old and New Cairo / Coptic Cairo / Synagogue of Ben Ezra After your buffet breakfast meet your Egyptologist guide to start our Where it all Began Tour, and visit one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient World, the three Pyramids of Giza . The oldest and largest of the three is the Cheops Pyramid built 3rd dynasty about 2690 B.C. Next is the Pyramids of Chefren and visit the majestic Great Sphinx , which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grand Pyramid Chefren. In the area of the Pyramids making for a great picture take an opportunity to ride a camel with the Pyramids in the background. Continue to visit the famous Egyptian Museum , here we shall provide you with a brief, but colorful insight into the five thousand years history of Egypt's fascinating land. Afterwards we visit Old Cairo , and the City’s cultural landmarks that span three millennium of Egyptian history. We begin with Coptic Church , where you will visit the Hanging Church , dating to the late 4th and early 5th century. This basilica was named "Al-Mu'allaqah" because it was built atop the south gate of the Babylon Fortress . Continue to the Church of St. Sergius , a 5th century Coptic Church. This basilica is built on the cave in which the Holy Family stayed and is regarded by visitors as a source of blessing. As we stroll along, we'll come to the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra - the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt built in 882 AC. Next, we'll explore the spices and silks in the medieval bazaar of Khan el-Khalili , one of the biggest bazaars in the Middle East and North Africa’s most famous bazaar. Lunch will be served during the tour at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight-  including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 4 – THURSDAY Sinai Desert / Marah by the Red Sea / Elim / Rephidim / Land of Goshen / Mount Sinai After breakfast departure by private air-conditioned mini-coach or bus to Saint Catherine Monastery via the tunnel underneath the Suez Cannel to the west branch of the Red Sea, following what is thought to be the route of the Biblical Exodus (Genesis 16-18) . Our drive through the Sinai Peninsula and the biblical Land of Goshen to the Mount Sinai area (233 miles) takes about 6 hours. Marah by the Red Sea the desert springs along the shore of the Red Sea where the children of Israel found the water bitter (Exodus 15:22-23) . Continue to Alim visit the desert oasis continue to Wadi Feiran (Rephidim), the desert valley where the children of Israel fought against Amalekites. Then to Mount Serbal, the possible site where Moses held his arms up for victory we continue inland heading towards the granite mountain of Mount Sinai (Exodus 19) and Wadi El Raha where according to traditions is the area where the Israelites camped and the golden calf was forged (Exodus 32) . We will arrive at the hotel near Mt Sinai and St Catherine’s Monastery. Overnight in hotel near Mt. Sinai-  including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 5 – FRIDAY Mount Sinai to the Red Sea/Mountains of Edom / St Catherine Monastery / Taba Border / Eilat ( Israel) cross to Jordan / Aqaba / Petra At day break, those who desire and are physically capable, will climb-up Mount Sinai Jabal Musa (6,900 ft) climb to the summit (750 steps) walking the Footsteps of Moses and enjoy a time of praise and incredible views of the Sinai wilderness, we read from the Book of Genesis God revealed himself to Moses in the Burning Bush and where he received the Ten Commandments. Descending the mountain we return to the hotel to rejoin the rest of the group for Breakfast. Touring the Saint Catherine Monastery with its History, constructed at the foot of Mt. Sinai the oldest working Christian Monastery. St. Catherine Monastery was built in (527 and 565 AC) by the Roman Emperor Justinian, and where it’s believed God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush. The Greek Orthodox Church building is the oldest continuously used church building in the world. Lunch will be provided in Taba at local restaurant prior to crossing border in to Israel. Leaving Mount Sinai area toward the eastern shores of Sinai Peninsula and on the Red Sea north to Taba Border Crossing ( Egypt Israel border ), lunch provided in Taba prior to crossing in to Israel. After crossing meet our Israeli representative and welcome to Israel. We will take short city tour in Eilat Israel’s southernmost town on the Red Sea. We'll arrive at the Araba Border (Israel Jordan southern border) . Cross to Jordan and meet with our Jordanian tour guide, Welcome to Jordan, visit the city and port of Aqaba along the King’ Highway to Wadi Musa then to the ancient city of Petra (Numbers 20:18-21, 1 Samuel 14:47, 2 Kings 14:7, Isaiah 34:5-8, Jeremiah 49:16-18) . Overnight hotel in Petra-  including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

• Lunch provided in Taba at local restaurant prior to crossing to Israel

Day 6 – SATURDAY Full day Visiting the Nabatean City of Petra, Amman Exploring the Nabatean Treasure City of Petra . A short drive from our hotel lays the entrance to one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites – the 2,000-year-old city of Petra , known as the red rock city. It was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AC. Carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock, Petra was forgotten for hundreds of years until it was rediscovered in 1812. At the entrance to Petra, travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m - from the visitor center to the entrance of the dramatic “Siq” (canyon). From the entrance to the Siq there is a 1,250 meters walk to the 1st monument “ The treasury” Throughout most of the day we will explore Petra’s incredible structures; Bab Al Siq or in Arabic the “ gateway to the Siq,” the Treasury, the Royal Tombs, the obelisks and the High Place of Sacrifice, the Theatre carved into the side of the mountain, the Church built in the 5th century AD, the Colonnaded Street, the Lion Triclinium with it’s two lions on it’s entrance, Ad Deir the large monastery monument, the Great Temple complex, and much more. In the late afternoon we'll drive north to Amman - Jordan’s capital and largest city. Overnight in Amman Hotel-  including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 7 – SUNDAY Crossing to Israel - Into the Promised Land Madaba / Mount Nebo / Cross to Israel / Jericho / Tel Aviv After breakfast we head to the biblical town of Madaba . The town is best known for its Byzantine and mosaics and for its Greek Orthodox Church of St. George . Here we'll view the earliest original map of the Holy Land. We continue to the biblical Mount Nebo (Deuteronomy 34) from which Moses viewed the Promise Land. Mt. Nebo, believed to be the site of the tomb of Moses , commands a spectacular view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea . We'll drive by Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John the Baptist is purported to have baptized Jesus and cross to Israel via the Allenby Bridge. As we enter into Israel we remember Joshua as he led the children of Israel on this exact path into the Promised Land. We continue to drive by Jericho and to the Mediterranean Sea on our way to Tel Aviv . Israel’s largest and most modern city. Check in at our hotel and dinner. Free time to rest, relax and enjoy your first evening in Israel. Our Tel Aviv hotel is conveniently located near the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and close to the city center and attractions. Overnight in Tel Aviv-  including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 8 – MONDAY From Tel Aviv / Jaffa to the Sea of Galilee, Mediterranean coast and the Valley of Armageddon Caesarea / Mt. Carmel / Megiddo / Nazareth / Sea of Galilee / Tiberias In the morning visit to the Old Town Jaffa , walk through the narrow passages of Old Jaffa, believed to be the oldest port city in the world and where cedars from Lebanon arrived to build Solomon's Temple ( 2 Chronicles 2:16 ), see St. Peter's Church and take a spectacular view of Tel Aviv Shoreline from Jaffa Hilltop. Peter came to Jaffa (Joppa) from Lydda to raise Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead (Acts 9:36-43) . While in Jaffa, the apostle stayed at the house of Simon the Tanner . St. Peter's Church  marks the traditional site of Peter’s vision of the Great Sheet (Acts 10:9-16) . Depart Tel Aviv driving north along the coastal plain to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 9:30 Acts 10:24-48) which was the center of early Christians, and capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of this ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct, here where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa prior to his final journey to Rome (Acts 25-26) . We'll stop at Mount Carmel (Muchraka) , where Elijah issued his challenge to the False Prophets (1 Kings 18:16-24) . We continue and enjoy a breath taking panoramic view of Haifa Bay and the Western Galilee region. Continue to Megiddo (Joshua 12:21, 1 Kings 9:15, 2 Kings 23:29 & Revelation 16:16) , the site of Armageddon (Revelation 16) where it is prophesied the gathering of the armies for the end of times will take place. See the remains from Solomon’s days, view the valley where the Battle of Armageddon will be fought (Revelation 16:14-16) . Visit the archaeological excavations at Megiddo , including the well preserved water supply system. Continue along the Jezerel Valley to visit the town of Nazareth (Luke 1:26, Luke 4:16, Luke 4:29 & Matthew 2:23) we will take a beautiful view from the top of Mount Precipice , also known as Mount of Precipitation , or Mount of the Leap of the Lord . It's believed to be the site of the rejection of Jesus (Luke 4:29 Luke 4:30) , continue to the Basilica of Annunciation the church and site that celebrates the news from Gabriel that Mary would give birth to Jesus (Luke 1) . If time permits, and we'll drive to Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first public miracle, the turning of water into wine at the wedding feast (John 2:1 John 2:11) , and the Lower Galilee region to the beautiful Sea of Galilee to the town of Tiberias . The hotels situated right on town’s center and the shores of the Sea of Galilee make it possible to walk along the shores of the Sea of Galilee and explore the town of Tiberias. Overnight Sea of Galilee- including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 9 - TUESDAY Sea of Galilee, the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights Magdala / Sail the Sea of Galilee / Jesus Boat / Golan Heights / Upper Galilee / Caesarea Philippi / St. Peter's Fish Lunch / Yardenit We begin this Holy Land touring day with a visit to Magdala (Matthew 15:39) , known as the home of Mary Magdalene. Here we'll explore a first century Jewish city where Jesus' healed the afflicted, and the oldest excavated synagogue from the time of Jesus' ministry where surely he taught. After we board a wooden boat and sail on as the disciples did 2,000 years ago on the Sea of Galilee where the Lord calmed the storm (Luke 8:22-25) , and where He made one of the most dramatic miracles, walking on water (Mark 6:47-52) , and it was here along the shores of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus appeared for a third time after being raised from the dead, and asked his disciples to throw their net to the right side of the boat and caught many fish, and where the Lord made the disciples breakfast  (John 21) . We'll dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar and visit the " Ancient Jesus Boat " the remains of a 2,000 years old boat that was discovered in 1986. This boat was used at the time of Jesus and his disciples. We will drive to the beautiful Golan Heights . Visit Banias - ancient Ceasarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13 and Mark 8:27) where Jesus said “On this rock I will build my Church” (Matthew 16:18) . Continue to the Hula Valley and the Upper Galilee, returning to the Sea of Galilee and visit the baptismal site of Yardenit on the Jordan River, where believers celebrate and some take the opportunity to submerge themselves in the same waters where the Holy Spirit descended like a dove from heaven, when  John the Baptist baptized up out of the water Jesus (Matthew 3:13-17) . Overnight Sea of Galilee– including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 10 – WEDNESDAY Jesus early Ministry along the Sea of Galilee, Jordan River Mount of Beatitudes / Tabgha / Capernaum / Beit She'an / Dead Sea Today we'll visit early Jesus Ministry around the Sea of Galilee, visiting Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5, Matthew 6, Matthew 7, Matthew 8) where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount , see the famous Church of the Beatitudes  chapel, constructed between 1936 and 1938 by the noted architect Antonio Barluzzi and enjoy the view. Visit Tabgha - the site of the Feeding of the 5,000 and Primacy of Peter (Matthew 13, Mark 33, Mark 45, & John 21) , Church of Multiplication with its 4th Century Mosaic floor, Capernaum ( Matthew 4:13, Matthew 13:54, Matthew 17:24, Luke 7, Mark 1:2, John 4:46 John 4:54) where is believed to have been Jesus' home and the center of his ministry, here we can stand in what is left of the synagogue in which Jesus ministered, and where he preformed many miracles, and it's in Capernaum where Peter’s mother-in-law lived and was healed (Luke 4:38-40) . Journey through the Valley of Beit She'an to the ancient city of Beit She'an (Mark 5:20, Mark 7:31) , view the archeological site. It was here that after defeating Saul and his sons on Mount Gilboa, the Philistines hanged their bodies on the walls of Beth Shean (2 Samuel 21:12-14) , continue through the Jordan Valley past the city of Jericho and arrive to the Dead Sea , the lowest place on earth. Check in at the hotel located at the shores of the Dead Sea, enjoy optional spa treatments and a massage, float on the salty water of the Dead Sea or enjoy a swim in your hotel pool. Overnight Dead Sea- including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 11 – THURSDAY Dead Sea, Masada, Ein Gedi, Qumran, Judean Desert, Jerusalem Today on your Holy Land tour will visit the 1500 feet mountaintop fortress of Masada famous for being the last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. We will ascend to Masada by cable car and discover the first century Synagogue, King Herod’s Bathhouse and other sites atop of Masada, descend and continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi , where David hid in a cave when running from Saul (1 Samuel 23) , it was here that David composed several of his Psalms, next visit to Qumran where a cache of ancient biblical texts the Dead Sea Scroll were discovered in 1947. Continue to the Golden City of Jerusalem , and proceed to a panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mount Scopus , and take time for prayer. Continue to the hotel conveniently located within walking distance from the Old City Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem- including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 12 - FRIDAY Old Jerusalem, Temple Mount in Jesus times, Mount of Olives / Kidron Valley / Garden of Gethsemane / Western Wall tunnels (Kotel Tunnels) / Pool of Bethesda / Church of Holy Sepulcher / Via Dolorosa / Christian Quarter From the top of Mount of Olives where the Lord ascended into heaven (acts 1) we will have a view across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate where the prince of Peace will enter (Ezekiel 43) . We pass by Pater Noster Church standing on the traditional site of Christ's teaching of the Lord's Prayer (Luke 11:2-4) , and visit Dominus Flevit where "The Lord wept" as he beheld the Holy City (Luke 19:41-44) . Through Palm Sunday Road proceed down to the Gethsemane (Mark 14:32, John 18:1 & Matthew 26:36)  where you will see 2,000 year old Olive trees that date back to the time of Christ. In the Garden of Gethsemane the place that Jesus prays (Luke 22:39) and his disciples customarily visited, which allowed Judas to find him on that fateful night of his arrest (Luke 22:47-52) , and it's in Gethsemane where an angel from heaven appears to strengthen Jesus  (Luke 22:43) , and where he found his disciples sleeping and awakes them and tells them to get up and pray (Luke 22:46) . Then to the Western Wall - The holiest site in Judaism and one of the original walls that retained the Temple. We will visit the Western Wall Tunnels running along the base of the Western Wall will lead us through the Second Temple era and reveal the amazing construction of the Temple Mount , water supply and Roman street where our Lord was led to judgment. Continue to St. Anne Church and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5) , where Jesus performed the famous miracle of healing of the paralytic (John 5) . We will walk the Stations of the Cross - the Via Dolorosa including Station 2 Judgment Hall of Pilate (John 18:33) , located at the Church of the Flagellation and Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross , all the way to the final Station 14 inside  Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Matthew 27, Matthew 33:57, Matthew 28:10) . In the afternoon you will enjoy time to shop the colorful bazaars (markets). We'll join the prayer at the Western Wall , and after return to the Hotel for Shabbat Dinner. Overnight Jerusalem– including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 13 - SATURDAY Jerusalem Old and New City Mt. Zion / Upper Room / King David Tomb / Jewish Quarter / Ein Kerem / Bethlehem / Church of the Visitation / Church of the Nativity / Shepherd’s Field / Garden Tomb We begin the day going to Mount Zion , visit the Upper room (Luke 22) , Lord’s Supper, visit King David Tomb , and walk through the Jewish Quarter . Drive through the New City and pass the Knesset (Israel Parliament) and continue to Ein Karem , the birthplace of John the Baptist (Luke 1:57-80) , the one to announce the coming of the Lord (Isaiah 40:3) . Visit the Church of the Visitation which commemorates the visit made by Mary the mother of Jesus', to Elizabeth , the mother of John the Baptist (Luke 1:39-56) , then continue to Bethlehem where Joseph traveled there (Luke 2:1-7) with Mary whom was pregnant, and where Jesus was born (Matthew 2:1-5) , and visit the Church of Nativity . Proceed to see the Shepherd’s Field  where an angel appeared to announce the birth of Jesus (Luke 2:8-20) . In the afternoon visit The Garden Tomb , to celebrate the resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15, Luke 24:6-7, Mark 16:5-7) with a time for prayer. Enjoy a evening farewell dinner at the hotel. Overnight Jerusalem- including Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 14 - SUNDAY Enjoy free day in Jerusalem later in the day transfer to Ben Gurion airport according to your flight schedule After Breakfast, and by 12 noon, Check out from your hotel and store your luggage in the hotel storage room to enjoy a free day in Jerusalem. Passengers booked 4 Stars First class hotels, Jerusalem the Grand Court hotel within walking distance to the Old City. Passengers booked 5 stars Deluxe hotels, in Jerusalem The Leonardo Plaza hotel is within walking distance from the Old City and the center of West Jerusalem. You can visit again the Holy sites and the colorful bazaars, Yad Vashem Israel’s memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, the Davidson Center at the Western Wall, Ben Yehuda street with shopping stores, restaurants, and coffee shops, Mahaneh Yehuda market, with authentic Jerusalem Restaurants, and food markets. This Spring 2023 Holy Land Tour led by Pastor John Core, Bishop C.L. Mitchell and Pastor Kevin Cox is an inspiring 12-day biblical-themed tour of Israel. Explore the sites you’ve read about in the Old and New Testaments and gain a better understanding of the cultural, topographical and spiritual nuances of the Land where Jesus lived. Draw nearer to Him on this once-in-a-lifetime tour. Some of the places you’ll see include: Jaffa, Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Megiddo, Capernaum, Caesarea Philippi, the Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Western Wall, along with other cultural sites like Yad Vashem, and the Israel Museum. This is an amazing opportunity to discover the roots of your Christian faith.

DAY 1 – FRIDAY, MAY 19

Usa / tel aviv.

Overnight flight from USA to Tel-Aviv.

DAY 2 – SATURDAY, MAY 20

Arrival / jaffa / herzeliya.

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport a Coral Travel & Tours representative will greet and assist you. You will also meet your guide and driver and head to Jaffa for a walking tour of the Old City. Jaffa is known in the bible as Joppa and is considered the world’s oldest port and the place where the prophet Jonah set sail for Tarshish. Jaffa is associated with the deeds of Peter. Drive to your hotel in Herzeliya. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Herzeliya.

DAY 3 – SUNDAY, MAY 21

Caesarea / mount carmel / megiddo / cana.

After your Israeli breakfast drive along the Sharon plain to Caesarea . Caesarea was the seat of the Roman Procurator of Judea in the time of Christ and the place Peter converted the centurion Cornelius (Acts 10:24). Explore the Roman theater and the aqueduct and view the ruins of Roman, Byzantine and Crusader times. Continue to Mt. Carmel to the site where Elijah challenged and defeated the 450 prophets of Baal (King 18:20). Then on to Megiddo , the Fortress City of King Solomon, later built again by King Ahab. The books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we study about the final Battle of Armageddon. Stop at Mount Precipice for an overview of Nazareth . Visit Nazareth Village. Drive through Cana of Galilee to Tiberias. Dinner and overnight: Hotel near the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 4 – MONDAY, MAY 22

Mt. of beatitudes / capernaum / tabgha / sea of galilee / jordan river.

Your first stop today will be the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12). Then, visit Capernaum , the town Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth. Capernaum is the place where Jesus recruited the first of His disciples (Matthew 4:13, Luke 4:31-37, Matthew 8:14- 17, Mark 2:1-12, Matthew 8:5-13, Mark 5:21-43, Matthew 11:23-24). Visit the excavation of the ancient synagogue and the house of Peter. Continue on to Tabgha, the site of the multiplication. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.  Then, visit Kibbutz Ginosar to see the ancient boat  from Jesus’ time.  Your last stop today will be at Yardenit , at the Jordan River, where you will have an opportunity to be baptized (optional). Dinner and Overnight: Hotel near the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 5 – TUESDAY, MARY 23

Tel dan / caesarea philippi / golan heights / mt. bental.

After breakfast drive to Tel Dan , an important biblical city and a breathtaking Nature Reserve. The bible mentions the city a few times: “From Dan to Beer Sheba”. Continue to the Banias , site of the ancient Caesarea Philippi . It is here that Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus (Matthew 16:13). Climb up the Golan Heights . On your way you will be able to see Mt. Hermon. Continue on to Nimrod Castle. Stop for a panoramic view of the Golan Heights from Mt. Bental . Your last stop today will be the Head Water of the Jordan River. Dinner and Overnight: Hotel near the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 6 – WEDNESDAY, MAY 24

Bet she’an / gideon’s spring / qumran / dead sea.

Leave the Sea of Galilee and drive to Beth She’an where recent excavations have disclosed the impressive ruins of the country’s   largest city in the Roman and Byzantine periods which was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 CE. Continue to Ein Harod, the site of Judge Gideon (Judges 7: 1-25). The tour continues through the Jordan Valley past Jericho , believed to be the world’s oldest walled city. This was the first city taken by Joshua when the Hebrews returned from Egypt – ‘and the walls fell down.’  It was also the site of the Mount of Temptation (Mark 1:13). Visit the Baptismal Site near Jericho. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Qumran , where the 2000 year old Dead Sea Scrolls were found. End the day at your hotel located on the Shore of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight: Hotel at the Dead Sea.

DAY 7 – THURSDAY, MAY 25

Masada / ein gedi / jerusalem.

Morning at Leisure. Depart your hotel at the Dead Sea and drive to Masada. Ascend Masada by cable car. Masada is the site of the most dramatic act in Jewish History. Explore the ancient excavation of Herod’s palaces, the bathhouse, the storerooms, the ancient siege ramp, and the oldest synagogue in the world.  Continue on to Ein Gedi, an Oasis on the Dead Sea shore. Near the 200-meter-high waterfall is a cave where David had his famous meeting with King Saul (First Samuel 24: 1-23). A walk around the reservation confirms that Ein Gedi is one of the most beautiful reservations in the world.  Drive to Genesis Land where you will have Abraham’s hospitality, and experience a camel ride and dinner. Drive to Jerusalem . Enter the city of Jerusalem in the traditional way and view the city from Mt. Scopus.   Overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 8 – FRIDAY, MAY 26

After breakfast visit the City of David, Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam . Walk through the Aqueduct/Tunnel back to the Southern Steps and visit the Davidson Center (the Southern wall excavation) and the Rabbinical Tunnel. Continue to the Church of St. Anne and see the Pools of Bethesda. At Kibbutz Ramat Rachel archeological park you will have the opportunity to view Bethlehem and the Shepherds’ Fields. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 9 – SATURDAY, MAY 27

After breakfast ascend the Mt. of Olives (Matthew 24:3, Luke 21:37) for a breathtaking panoramic view of The Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Way to the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46, Luke 22:39-45, Mark 14:32-42) where Jesus spent the last night before he was arrested. Cross the Kidron Valley and walk along the “last way” to Mt. Zion.   Visit the house of the High Priest Caiaphas and the Church of Peter in Gallicantu (Matthew 26:31-35). This is the place where Peter denied the Lord three times. Enter the Old City. Walk along the Way of the Cross. Visit Antonia Fortress , Calvary and have a tour and communion at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 – SUNDAY, MAY 28

Jerusalem / bet shemesh / valley of elah / ayalon valley / bethlehem.

This morning drive to the western side of the city. Stop at the Menorah near the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) the Symbol of Israel. Then visit the Israeli Museum that hosts the Shrine of the Book and the Holy Land model. Continue to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 11 – SATURDAY, MAY 29

This morning after checking out from the hotel enter the Old City and visit the Temple Institute , the Herodian Mansions and the Western Wall. Farewell dinner. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

DAY 12 – SUNDAY, MAY 30

Tel aviv / usa.

Overnight flight back to the USA. Arrive the same day.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposits and Payments for the Spring 2023 Holy Land Tour

A deposit of $3500.00 is required with each reservation to guarantee booking by October 19, 2022. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. All checks should be made payable to Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd.

Tour Arrangements

Air –  Air arrangements are included in most group tours. Air is available to individual travelers upon request.

Land –  All packages including overnight hotel stays are quoted based upon double occupancy sharing a twin or double room with private facilities. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. does not arrange sharing for individual travelers. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. reserves the right to substitute hotels based upon availability when necessary. Sightseeing and entrance fees are included as per itinerary. Individual passengers and passengers arriving independently from a scheduled group are responsible for their own transfers.

Not Included

Gratuities, airport taxes and transfers (unless specifically included in certain group tours), optional tours, charges for passports, vaccinations and inoculations, excess baggage charges, accident, trip cancellation and baggage insurance, telephone and cable charges, laundry, meals not specified in the itinerary, liquor, items of a personal nature and any items not specifically listed as included.

You will be required to provide Coral Travel & Tours with a copy of your passport with final payment. Please Note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date not less than 6 months after your date of arrival in Israel. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the United States traveling to Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. For other destinations please contact Coral Travel & Tours, Ltd. Coral Travel & Tours does NOT process visa applications. No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel. Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.

Fuel Surcharge

Please note fuel surcharges are set by the airline and Coral Travel & Tours has no control over nor receives advance notice of changes. Due to fluctuating global oil prices, the fee may change. The airline will only guarantee the fee at time of ticketing. If the airline imposes an increase, the difference will be the responsibility of each traveler and will be collected prior to departure.

Suitcases: 1 per person, not to exceed 50 lbs. for 1 bag. Each can measure up to 62 linear inches (length + height + width). Carry On Luggage: 1 per person, not to exceed 11 lbs. Each can measure up to 45 linear inches (length + height + width).

Any change in the basic program will result in the charge of $150 per change per person plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.

Ziua 1. BUCURESTI - HURGHADA 

Intalnire cu reprezentantul agentiei in aeroportul Henri Coanda din Bucuresti pentru imbarcare pe zborul spre Hurghada. Sosire in Egipt, transfer la hotel si timp liber la hotel 5* in Hurghada.

Ziua 2. HURGHADA

Mic dejun. Soare, plaja, mare si o adiere placuta de vant, iata cateva conditii pentru minunate momente de relaxare in aceasta zi de sejur, sau pentru cei aventurosi si plini de energie va propunem, optional jeep safari.

Ziua 3. HURGHADA - LUXOR

Mic dejun la pachet. Dimineata devreme transfer spre Luxor. Vizitam Templul Karnak - cel mai mare complex antic religios din Egipt, dedicat zeului Amon-Ra, zeitatea suprema al Egiptului. Aflat in inima Tebei, fosta capitala in antichitate al Egiptului, grandiosul templu inca isi pastreaza parca atmosfera sacra. Urmeaza timp liber sau vizita optionala la Templul Luxor (45 €), pentru a admira aici marmura alba si porticuri cu coloane, obeliscuri din granit si porti gigantice, statui uriase ale faraonilor, picturi murale si inscriptii ce ne descriu prin simboluri, netarmuita putere a celor ce au condus Egiptul in acele epoci. Transfer pentru imbarcare, cina si cazare pe vasul de croaziera.

Ziua 4. LUXOR - ESNA - EDFU

Mic dejun. Continuam calatoria si in cursul diminetii ne vom afla pe malul vestic al Nilului pentru a vizita Valea Regilor, unde au fost construite morminte sofisticate pentru generatii intregi de faraoni si nobili. Descoperim criptele taiate in stanci si pazite de Colosii lui Memnon, doua statui masive din piatra ale faraonului Amenhotep al III-lea. Aici, mormantul lui Tutankhamon este singurul care a fost descoperit intact. Vom mai vizita Templul Reginei Hatchepsut, singura femeie faraon din istoria Egiptului.  Ne intoarcem la vasul de croaziera pentru cina si cazare. Navigam spre Edfu, traversand gigantica ecluza de la Esna.

Ziua 5. EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN

Mic dejun pe vas. Dimineata incepem vizita in Edfu la Templul lui Horus (Zeul Cerului), considerat a fi cel mai bine conservat templu din Egipt. Zidurile sale colosale acoperite cu hieroglife uriase, transmit aceea senzatie de putere atotcuprinzatoare si par sa fi fost create pentru giganti. Constructia templului a fost inceputa in anul 237 i.H. si a fost finalizata abia doua secole mai tarziu, in timpul lui Ptolomeu al 12-lea, tatal celebrei Regine Cleopatra. Ne intorcem la vasul de croaziera si navigam spre Kom Ombo. Templul de aici este neobisnuit prin faptul ca este dedicat in cinstea a doua zeitati principale care au fost venerate in aceea perioada. Divinitatea principala a jumatatii nordice a templului este Horus, vechiul zeu egiptean al cerului, iar partea de sud a templului este dedicata lui Sobek, vechiul zeu egiptean al fertilitatii. Deseori reprezentat ca un barbat cu un cap de crocodil, Sobek este, de asemenea, considerat creatorul lumii. Ne intoarcem la vasul de croaziera pentru cazare si cina si continuam calatoria catre Aswan.

Ziua 6. ASWAN

Mic dejun pe vas. Ne bucuram de facilitatile vasului de croaziera, sau optional, excursie la Templul Abu Simbel (95 €), unde descoperim de fapt o stanca pe malul vestic al Nilului, in a carei piatra au fost sapate 2 temple antice, in timpul domniei faraonului Ramses al II-lea (cca. 1298 -1213 i. Hr). Complexul arheologic, situat in Nubia, este pazit de patru statui colosale, care il infatiseaza pe Ramses al II-lea. Continuam cu vizita la Barajul Aswan, a carui constructie a durat 10 ani, fiind inceputa in 1960. Siturile arheologice din zona, au fost mutate in locatii sigure, iar peste 90.000 de nubieni au fost nevoiti sa isi paraseasca locuintele. La capacitate maxima, pot trece prin baraj la fiecare secunda 11.000 m cubi de apa, ce produc jumatate din productia totala de electricitate al Egiptului. Ne indreptam apoi spre Obeliscul Neterminat, cel mai mare obelisc (cca. 37 de metri) pe care egiptenii antici l-au sculptat vreodata. O parte din obelisc a fost finisata, in vreme ce portiunea de dedesubt a ramas atasata de roca mama din care ar fi trebuit sa fie extras. Specialistii estimeaza ca un asemenea bloc de granit ar putea cantari 1000 -1200 de tone, aparitia unei fisuri determinand, se pare, abandonarea lucrarii. Revenim la vas pentru masa de pranz. Dupa-amiaza, excursie optionala la Gradina Botanica si Satul Nubian (55 €). Retur la vasul de croziera. Cina si cazare la bord.

Ziua 7. ASWAN - HURGHADA

Mic dejun. Transfer cu autocarul la Hurghada, check-in si cina la hotelul din Hurghada.

Ziua 8. HURGHADA - BUCURESTI

Mic dejun. Transfer la aeroportul din Hurghada pentru zborul de retur spre Romania.

Bine de știut

Grup minim 40 persoane. In cazul nerealizarii grupului minim se va anula circuitul, cu posibilitatea inscrierii pe un program similar . In cazul unui grup mai mic de 25 pers., se va achita un supliment de neintrunire grup minim, dupa cum urmeaza: pentru un grup intre 25-29 persoane = 70 € /pers; iar pentru un grup intre 30-39 persoane = 45 € /pers. Agentia organizatoare isi rezerva dreptul de a anula programul daca nu se vor inscrie minim 25 persoane, iar turistii vor fi instiintati nu mai tarziu de 20 de zile calendaristice inainte de inceperea executarii pachetului.

- Excursiile optionale se organizeaza pentru un numar minim de 25 de persoane. In cazul neintrunirii grupului minim, excursia optionala va fi anulata sau recalculata in functie de numarul de participanti. - Tarifele mentionate in programul detaliat pentru vizitele optionale sunt informative si pot suporta modificari, in functie de partenerii locali/economia tarii sau alte detalii neprevazute. - Inscrierea la anumite excursii optionale, in timpul circuitului, se face in functie de marimea grupului si al locurilor disponibile in autocar. - Pentru obiectivele turistice unde este nevoie de rezervare in prealabil, agentia va percepe o taxa de rezervare. - Ghidul poate modifica ordinea de vizitare a obiectivelor turistice, respectand vizitarea tuturor obiectivelor din program. - Pentru explicatiile in obiectivele turistice, grupul va putea apela la serviciile ghizilor locali.

PARTAJ GARANTAT: turistii care rezerva tipul de camera “partaj garantat” nu vor fi nevoiti sa achite suplimentul de camera single in cazul in care agentia nu reuseste sa completeze partajul.

PARTAJ NEGARANTAT: turistii care rezerva tipul de camera “partaj negarantat” vor fi nevoiti sa achite suplimentul de camera single in cazul in care agentia nu reuseste sa completeze partajul. Turistii vor fi informati in scris cu maxim 3 zile inainte de plecare. Eventuale neintelegeri intre solicitantii de partaj, nu sunt imputabile agentiei. Decizia de a renunta la partaj si a opta pentru camera single, se face in baza achitarii suplimentului de camera single de catre ambele persoane.

OFERTE & REDUCERI: REDUCERE de pana la MAXIM 15% prin CUMULAREA urmatoarelor: ULTRA FIRST MINUTE -10%, valabil pana la 28.02.2023, cu achitarea unui avans de 30% la inscriere si diferenta de plata cu 30 zile inainte de plecare. FIRST MINUTE -5%, valabil pana la 30.04.2023, cu achitarea unui avans de 30% la inscriere si diferenta de plata cu 30 zile inainte de plecare. CLIENT FIDEL -5%  REDUCERE pentru turistii care au mai achizitionat programe turistice de la agentia tour operatoare, atat direct, cat si prin intermediul agentiilor partenere a acesteia. REDUCERE -5% pentru ULTIMA BANCHETA din autocar (in limita locurilor disponibile). Reducerea se aplica doar daca locurile sunt solicitate in mod expres la momentul rezervarii. In cazul in care bancheta este ocupata de ultimii turisti inscrisi, tariful va fi cel standard. REDUCERE DE GRUP : la 6 pers= 3%, la 8 pers= 4%, la 10 pers. platitoare, a 11-a GRATUIT. *REDUCERILE sunt oferite in limita locurilor disponibile iar agentia poate modifica perioadele de aplicare a ofertelor!

In situatia in care programul se poate organiza, respectand restrictiile de calatorie impuse de tara de destinatie, in caz de retragere/renuntare, se aplica penalizari de 100% din valoarea avansului achitat conform pragurilor de mai sus.

SAFE PRICE (Tarif Standard) - 40% avans la inscriere, diferenta de plata cu pana la 14 zile inainte de plecare. In situatia in care programul se poate organiza, respectand restrictiile de calatorie impuse de tara de destinatie, in caz de retragere/renuntare, se aplica pragurile de penalizare conform contractului, respectiv: a) 25 €/persoana - taxa de serviciu, dupa primirea confirmarii serviciilor comandate (cu pana la 60 de zile inainte de plecare/intrare) b) 25 % din contravaloarea pachetului de servicii turistice pentru anulare in intervalul 59-30 zile inainte de plecare/intrare. c) 50 % din contravaloarea pachetului de servicii turistice pentru anulare in intervalul 29-16 zile inainte de plecare/intrare. d) 100 % din contravaloarea pachetului de servicii turistice pentru anulare in intervalul 15-0 zile inainte de plecare/intrare.

In situatia in care masurile luate de catre autoritati impun restrictii de calatorie care fac imposibila executarea pachetului de servicii de calatorie de catre agentia organizatoare, turistul va beneficia de rambursarea integrala a avansului achitat, doar cu achitarea taxei de serviciu in cuantum de 25 €/persoana (care va fi scazuta din avansul achitat). Insa, in situatia in care turistul solicita reprogramarea calatoriei la o data ulterioara, nu se percepe taxa de serviciu.

Conditii specifice TRANSFERURI DE GRUP* - Transferurile de grup se confirma automat cu pana la 14 zile inainte de plecare, indiferent de numarul participantilor. Transferurile se pot efectua cu autoturism, microbuz, minibus, autocar sau prin operatori de linie; - Locurile de imbarcare sunt informative; pot fi diferite in functie de partenerul care efectueaza transferul si se reconfirma o data cu informarea de plecare, cu 3 zile sau, prin exceptie, cu maximum 24 de ore inainte de plecare. Traseele pot suferi modificari in functie de nr. participantilor, pot implica mai multe mijloace de transport (3-4 schimbari) si pot exista timpi de asteptare intre imbarcare/debarcare si preluarea/-ile de catre partener/-ii care efectueaza transferul. - Ora de imbarcare si numarul de telefon ale soferului si/sau de dispecerat se vor comunica cu 3 zile (prin exceptie 24 de ore) inaintea datei plecarii. Calatorul va tine legatura cu transportatorul pentru a se informa privind situatia concreta din ziua plecarii. Pentru transferul de retur, detaliile sunt oferite de personalul de la bordul autocarului in timpul calatoriei de intoarcere. Turistii sunt rugati sa se prezinte la locul de imbarcare cu 15-30 min. inainte de ora comunicata - grupul nu poate astepta turistii care intarzie. - Solicitarile de transfer se fac cu min. 14 zile inainte de data plecarii. Pentru transferurile achizitionate cu mai putin de 14 zile sau solicitate la fata locului - direct de la reprezentantii Hello Holidays (ghizi, insotitori, soferi etc.) - se achita un supliment de 5 euro/pers/sens iar confirmarea se va face in functie de disponibilitate. - Toate rezervarile trebuie insotite in mod obligatoriu de numarul de telefon al pasagerilor, disponibil la momentul plecarii, cu roaming activat obligatoriu. In cazul in care rezervarea este efectuata de catre o agentie partenera, aceasta are obligatia de a transmite numarul de telefon al turistilor inscrisi, catre Hello Holidays. - Numarul de contact al turistilor este foarte important pentru ca, mai ales in cazul transferurilor - cand pot aparea diferite modificari, intarzieri s.a., acestia vor fi contactati de catre sofer/dispecerat. Agentia Hello Holidays nu este raspunzatoare de imposibilitatea contactarii pasagerilor din cauza netransmiterii informatiilor obligatorii solicitate sau transmiterea incorecta a acestora si nu va restitui contravaloarea tranferului sau a pachetului de servicii.

Conditii specifice TRANSFERURI PREMIUM** - Transferurile Premium se confirma la cerere, in limita disponibilitatii, cu pana la 7 zile inainite de plecare, se efectueaza cu microbuz/autoturism si se organizeaza pentru min. 2 persoane, max. 7 persoane/masina. - Preluarea si debarcarea se fac de la si la adresa indicata de catre turisti, fara a exista timpi suplimentari de asteptare (exceptie fac cazurile de forta majora) si implica un singur mijloc de transport. - Debarcarea la punctul de plecare a grupului din Bucuresti se face cu max. 30-45 minute inainte de ora de intalnire stabilita conform informarii primite de la agentie. - La retur timpul de preluare din punctul de debarcare este de max. 30-45 minute.

Conditii generale transport rutier - In mijloacele de transport sunt strict interzise: fumatul, consumul de bauturi alcoolice, consumul de droguri si substante stupefiante. Ne rezervam dreptul de a debarca pasagerii in stare de ebrietate si pasagerii care afecteaza ordinea si siguranta celorlalti pasageri sau a conducatorilor auto, ori incalca prezentele conditii, fara rambursarea costurilor de transport. - Pasagerii se obliga sa achite catre societatea de transport contravaloarea oricaror distrugeri aduse mijloacelor de transport. - Transportul animalelor se supune unui regim special. Turistii apartinatori au obligatia de a solicita aprobarea agentiei. - Cazul fortuit si forta majora exonereaza societatea de transport de orice raspundere . -  Bagaje admise pentru fiecare pasager ocupant de loc: la cala 1 piesa de bagaj de max. 25 kg/pasager; in autocar se accepta max. 1 rucsac (geanta mica de mana - piesele mai mari vor fi depozitate la cala). In cazul nerespectarii regulilor, personalul de la bord are dreptul de a incasa o taxa suplimentara in valoare de 30 € per bagaj sau  de a debarca pasagerii.

TRANSFERURI CONTRA COST DIN TARA

Observatii / Conditii de calatorie: - Pentru ca unui minor sa i se permita calatoria in afara tarii, este necesar sa fie insotit de cel putin un adult care sa aiba asupra sa acordul scris al ambilor parinti ai minorului, legalizat la notariat, si cazier judiciar, pe care sa-l prezinte in punctul de frontiera. Daca adultul care insoteste minorul este unul din parinti, acesta va avea nevoie doar de acordul scris al celuilalt parinte al minorului, legalizat la notariat. Informatii suplimentare pe www.politiadefrontiera.ro. - Persoanele care calatoresc cu copii sub 18 ani trebuie sa detina pe langa pasaportul acestora si o copie a certificatului de nastere al copiilor (este posibil ca autoritatile de la frontiera sa o solicite). Agentia nu raspunde in cazul refuzului autoritatilor de la punctele de frontiera de a primi turistul pe teritoriul propriu sau de a-i permite sa paraseasca teritoriul propriu. - In functie de modificarile impuse de compania aeriana, agentia poate percepe un supliment pentru biletul de avion (se confirma in momentul emiterii biletului).  - Orarul de zbor mentionat in programul detaliat este informativ si poate suporta modificari impuse de compania aeriana.  ​​​​​​​- Va rugam sa va asigurati ca documentele de calatorie nu prezinta urme de deteriorare ale elementelor de siguranta, dar si valabilitatea acestora. ​​​​​​​- Autoritatile de frontiera isi rezerva dreptul de a refuza intrarea pe teritoriul unei anumite tari ai oricarei persoane, care nu prezinta suficienta credibilitate. Agentia de turism nu poate fi facuta raspunzatoare pentru astfel de situatii care nu pot fi depistate anterior datei plecarii. ​​​​​​​- Ghidul poate modifica ordinea de vizitare a obiectivelor turistice, cu respectarea vizitarii tuturor obiectivelor din program. Pentru explicatiile la obiectivele turistice, grupul va putea apela la serviciile ghizilor locali. ​​​​​​​- Bacsisurile pentru prestatorii locali (tips) reprezinta o practica internationala. ​​​​​​​- Obiectivele turistice redactate cu litere ingrosate si inclinate (Bold- Italic), se viziteaza doar la exterior. In situatia in care nu se mentioneaza ca turul de oras este panoramic cu autocarul, implicit turul se va face pietonal. ​​​​​​​- Agentia nu este raspunzatoare pentru pierderea sau furtul bagajelor, a actelor sa a obiectelor personale; in cazul in care aceste situatii nedorite apar, turistul are obligatia de a depune personal plangere la organele competente. ​​​​​​​- Este interzis fumatul in camerele unitatilor de cazare (cu exceptia camerelor pentru fumatori). In caz contrar, turistul va suporta toate penalizarile impuse de unitatea de cazare.   ​​​​​​​- Agentia organizatoare nu garanteaza existenta anumitor facilitati de cazare (minibar, frigider, aer conditionat, ferestre rabatabile, seif), atat timp cat se asigura clasificarea pe stele mentionata in programul detaliat. Hotelierul poate solicita taxe suplimentare (minibar /frigider, seif, aer conditionat, etc); in momentul sosirii la hotel solicitati receptionerului sa va informeze cu exactitate asupra lor. ​​​​​​​- Nominalizarea hotelurilor se va face in informarea de plecare transmisa cu 3 zile inainte de inceputul calatoriei (sau prin exceptie cu maximum 24h inainte de plecare), in functie de marimea grupului. Mentiunea sau similar” in dreptul denumirii hotelului, face referire doar la categoria de confort si regimul de masa al hotelului. ​​​​​​​- Hotelul isi rezerva dreptul de a solicita fiecarui turist o suma cash sau o copie a cartii de credit personale, ca garantie pentru cheltuielile suplimentare ce urmeaza a fi facute pe parcursul sederii. ​​​​​​​- In situatia in care turistul are cerinte speciale, cum ar fi: camere alaturate sau cu o anumita localizare, meniu special, acestea vor fi cu titlul de solicitare catre prestatori dar nu vor fi considerate confirmate decat in masura posibilitatilor de la fata locului. ​​​​​​​- In ultimii ani tot mai multe hoteluri si vase de croaziera au initiat politica fara bani cash (cash free). Astfel, este posibil ca unii prestatori sa nu mai incaseze bani cash pentru serviciile suplimentare prestate, de aceea este important sa detineti un card de credit cand calatoriti in afara tarii. ​​​​​​​- Acest program nu este recomandat persoanelor cu mobilitate redusa. ​​​​​​​- Avand in vedere epidemia SARS-COV 2 este posibil ca unele reglementari de calatorie sa se modifice pana la data plecarii, independent de vointa agentiei (cum ar fi: limitari ale capacitatii de transport in autocar, restrictii de vizitare pentru unele atractii turistice, masuri suplimentare de igiena si control al starii de sanitate, formalitati vamale). ​​​​​​​- Nu sunt necesare vaccinari speciale pentru aceasta destinatie; ​​​​​​​- Pentru majoritatea excursiilor, copiii in varsta de 6 - 12 ani, beneficiaza de reducere, numai pentru cazare in camera cu doi adulti. ​​​​​​​- Pentru reducerea de grup, toti turistii din acel grup trebuie sa fie inscrisi pe acelasi program, aceeasi data de plecare si aceeasi rezervare. Recomandam incheierea asigurarii Travel (storno + medicala) pentru a va proteja atat inainte de plecare, in cazul anularii calatoriei, cat si dupa plecare in cazul unei situatii neprevazute!  

Datorita dinamicitatii domeniului disponibilitatea ofertelor se modifica de la un moment la altul. De aceea ofertele sunt valabile in limita locurilor disponibile. Agentia nu este responsabila pentru eventualele neconcordante care pot aparea intre informatiile privind tarifele si alte detalii din site si informatiile primite in agentie. In aceste cazuri vor avea prioritate, intotdeauna, informatiile primite in agentie.

Touroperatorii au, de obicei, propriile clasificari atunci cand evalueaza o unitate de cazare, daca nu exista alte prevederi. Clasificarile ce sunt afisate in acest website sunt clasificari proprii si sunt o incercare de a oferi o ghidare pentru calitatea generala a proprietatilor din oferta. Clasificarile universale ale touroperatorilor sunt, de obicei, bazate pe constatarile / feedback-ul clientilor si ale senior managerilor din tara si strainatate.

Daca este cazul, evaluarile oficiale sunt date de catre autoritatile din fiecare tara si au tendinta de a da o clasificare corecta bazata pe standardele relative din tara respectiva.

Recomandări pentru cetățenii români care efectuează deplasări în Egipt:

ACTUALIZARE CONDITII INCEPAND DIN  17.06.2022 

Egiptul a eliminat toate restricțiile legate de coronavirus (COVID-19) care au fost impuse la intrarea in tara atat cetatenilor egipteni cat si de alta nationalitate.

Cetățenii români au obligativitatea încheierii unei polițe de asigurare medicală cu valoarea sumei asiguratorie de minim 5.000 Euro. https://www.mae.ro/travel-alerts/2906

Va rugam sa anuntati cu minim 7 zile inainte de imbarcare daca veti avea bagaje atipice! Bagajul dumneavoastra risca sa nu fie aprobat spre imbarcare.

Toti pasagerii sunt obligati sa respecte intocmai regulile tarii spre care calatoresc. Agentia nu raspunde in cazul in care turistii nu prezinta documentele necesare sau in cazul in care documentele sunt incomplete.

Întrucat reglementarile se schimba dinamic, vă recomandăm, înainte de a călători, să verificați întotdeauna condițiile de călătorie cu autoritățile sanitare și de frontieră oficiale și să vă asigurați că aveți cele mai recente informații. Este responsabilitatea dvs. să fiți la curent cu restricțiile de călătorie relevante, pentru a vă asigura că sunteți eligibil pentru a intra într-o țară și că sunteți apt de calatorie.

  Turiștii romani care ajung direct in HURGHADA  si MARSA ALAM   vor plati taxa de viză începând cu  1 Mai 2021.  Taxa viza costa 28 euro/persoana sau 28 usd/persoana (include contravaloarea taxei de viza 25 usd/persoana + taxa servicii aeroport)  și se va plati direct la standul MTS din aeroport astfel ca turistii sa evite aglomeratia si cozile de la ghiseele bancare. Se va achita doar cash in EUR sau USD. Se recomandă sa aveți suma fixă. De asemenea puteti opta si pentru achizitionarea vizei 25 usd/persoana direct de la ghiseele de taxe (Bank).

Cetatenii de alte nationalitati  sunt obligati sa se intereseze la Ambasada Rep. Arabe in legatura cu formalitatile necesare intrarii in aceasta tara.

Agentia de turism nu poate fi raspunzatoare daca unui turist nu i s-a acordat dreptul de a parasi tara sau de a intra in Egipt!

Toate bagajele de cala pe ruta Egipt-Romania ,  OBLIGATORIU trebuie INFOLIATE DOAR LA AEROPORT  inainte de a fi predate la ghiseul de check in. Bagajele care nu vor fi supuse acestei proceduri; nu vor fi acceptate, respectiv incarcate. Costurile de infoliere vor fi suportate de catre pasager (aprox. 5$ / 5EUR pentru zborul de retur Egipt- Bucuresti).

  Regulament la bordul aeronavei:

Atunci când, în opinia transportatorului, pasagerul se comportă la bordul aeronavei în aşa fel încât primejduieşte aeronava, persoanele sau bunurile din aeronavă, împiedică echipajul să-şi îndeplinească sarcinile, nu se conformează instrucţiunilor echipajului pe parcursul zborului ( fumeaza, consuma băuturi alcoolice şi droguri) sau se comportă într-un mod care cauzează disconfort, neplăceri, prejudicii sau vătămare corporală celorlalţi pasageri sau echipajului, transportatorul poate lua măsurile necesare pentru a preveni continuarea unei astfel de comportări, inclusiv constrângerea. Pasagerii pot fi debarcaţi şi li se poate refuza călătoria de continuare în oricare punct şi pot fi daţi în judecată pentru ofensa adusă la bordul aeronavei.

 Din motive de securitate, transportatorul poate interzice sau restricţiona utilizarea la bordul aeronavei a aparatelor electronice, inclusiv, dar fără a se limita la telefoane mobile, computere laptop, casetofoane portabile cu înregistrare, CD player, radiouri portabile, jocuri electronice sau aparate de transmisiuni, jucării telecomandate şi staţii portabile walkie-talkie.

Aparatele pentru pasagerii cu deficienţe de auz şi afecţiuni cardiace vor fi permise la bordul aeronavei.

Pasagerii care nu respectă regulile de mai sus vor fi refuzați la imbarcare sau vor fi predați autorităților, fără excepție.

  Pentru orice problemă referitoare la bagajul dumneavoastră vă rugăm să vă adresați companiei aeriene cu care ați călătorit, precum și Biroului bagaje pierdute/Neregularități bagaje , corespunzător companiei aeriene cu care ați călătorit.

Birourile ``Lost & Found`` sunt amplasate în sala de recuperare bagaje a Terminalului Sosiri. Va rugam sa retineti ca reprezentantii Karpaten si partenerii locali nu au acces in interiorul aeroportului.

In cazul in care va confruntati cu o astfel de situatie, va rugam sa informati reprezentantii Karpaten sau locali pentru a va astepta la transfer.

Informatii utile:

• ·        Camerele sunt distribuite de receptie, iar cazarea in prima zi si predarea in ultima zi se va face in functie de politica orara a fiecarui hotel si in functie de disponibilitatile de moment (in general cazarea se face dupa ora 14:00, iar predarea camerei pana in ora 12:00);
• ·        Tipul de camera se solicita de la inscriere. Atentie! Patul dublu (matrimonial) poate fi in unele hoteluri format din doua paturi de o persoana alipite. Al treilea difera in functie de dotarea fiecarui hotel: pat de o persoana, pat pliant sau o canapea.
• ·        Exista hoteluri unde copilul pana la 12 ani este acceptat sa doarma in pat cu parintii si astfel are gratuitate la cazare sau o reducere.
• ·        Unii hotelieri solicita garantii si plati suplimentare pentru utilizarea facilitatilor din camera (ex. mini bar/ frigider, seif, aer conditionat, wifi) daca nu este mentionat altfel. Recomandam turistilor, ca in momentul cazarii in hotel, sa solicite la receptie detalii despre aceste costuri suplimentare; la unele hotelurile de 4 si 5 stele se solicita garantie numerar sau card, ce se restituie/deblocheaza la predarea camerei. Aceste sume se blocheaza pentru garantarea platii facilitatilor hotelului.
• ·        Toate unitatile de cazare, precum si mijloacele de transport sunt clasificate de catre organismele abilitate ale tarilor de destinatie, conform procedurilor interne si normativelor locale, care difera de la o tara la alta;
• ·        Tinuta decenta este obligatorie pentru orice cina servita la unul din restaurantele hotelului.  Domnii au acces cu pantalon lung si incaltaminte inchisa (nu in pantalon scurt si papuci sau sandale), iar doamnele in tinuta decenta.  
• ·         Apa de la robinet nu este potabila, este recomandata apa imbuteliata ( pentru baut, spalat pe dinti, spalatul fructelor).
• ·        Pe parcursul sejururului pot aparea deranjamente stomacale; nu va impacientati, puteti folosi medicamentele locale care sunt eficiente in astfel de situatii
• ·        Recomandam imbracamintea din fibre naturale (bumbac, in, etc), in culori deschise;
• ·        Este indicat sa aveti la dispozitie palarii de soare, ochelari si incaltaminte usoara si inchisa ( nu sandale mai ales pentru vizitele in desert);
• ·        Recomandam pentru femei, imbracaminte decenta (cu umerii acoperiti si fara decolteu), in zonele publice;
• ·        Va recomandam sa folositi bani cash (Euro) pentru achizitionarea excursiilor optionale de la fata locului!
•           Pe teritoriul R.A. Egipt sunt interzise folosirea dronelor.

  Servicii neincluse în preț:

•  Asigurari medicale  (obligatorii)  si/sau storno (recomandate)

• Taxa de viza (se achita la aeroport in Egipt)

• Taxa de service pentru Croaziera pe Nil (OBLIGATORIE, se achita in Egipt)

• Infolierea bagajelor

• Bauturile alcoolice si nealcoolice la mese (exceptie regimul de masa all inclusive conform politicii fiecarui hotel)
