Blake Shelton is set to hit the road in 2023 for his 18-date Back to the Honky Tonk Tour, which launches Feb. 16 in Lincoln, Nebraska, and runs through its closing date on March 25 in Buffalo, New York. Joining Shelton will be current five-time CMA Awards nominee Carly Pearce , as well as newcomer Jackson Dean , who was featured as Billboard ‘s Country Rookie of the Month back in May.

“There’s nothing like getting out on the road and taking music to the fans,” Shelton said via a press release. “I feel just as excited to step on stage and perform as I did the very first time. I know my tour mates Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean feel the same, and I can’t wait for y’all to get to know them better. Break out the hats and boots, ‘cause we’re going back to the honky tonk!”

Shelton recently released the ’90s country -inspired track “No Body,” complete with a music video that finds Shelton revisiting his signature mullet from his early career days. “No Body” is currently at No. 31 on Billboard ‘s Country Airplay chart and is the second most-added song of the week on that chart.

Earlier on Wednesday (Sept. 7), Pearce celebrated being one of the most-nominated artists leading into this year’s Country Music Association Awards, with five nominations, including female vocalist of the year,  as well as a string of nominations for her collaboration with Ashley McBryde, “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.” The duet garnered nods for music video of the year, musical event of the year, single of the year and song of the year at the upcoming awards show. Pearce is also the reigning CMA Awards female vocalist of the year.

Meanwhile, Dean recently made his debut on Billboard ‘s Hot 100 with his breakthrough single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” which also sits at No. 11 on this week’s Country Airplay chart.

Tickets for the Back to the Honky Tonk Tour will go on sale Friday, Sept. 16 and on Friday, Sept. 23.

Blake Shelton Announces ‘Back to the Honky Tonk’ Tour for 2023

Blake Shelton has announced an upcoming tour for 2023.

The Back to the Honky Tonk Tour begins February 16 with a gig in Lincoln, Nebraska, and concludes on March 25 in Buffalo, New York.

For the tour, Shelton has partnered with Propeller and Save The Music.

According to a press statement,  Blake Shelton announced a partnership with digital marketing and social impact platform Propeller. The partnership will support the work of Save The Music, a non-profit organization that helps students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music.

Through Propeller, concertgoers can be entered to win prizes throughout the Back To The Honky Tonk Tour, including a trip to see Blake Shelton’s hometown show in Oklahoma City on March 17 and more.

“I’m proud to announce that my Back To The Honky Tonk Tour will partner with Propeller to support the work of Save The Music, a national non-profit dedicated to building school music programs in underserved communities,” said Shelton about the upcoming tour and partnerships. “Music is the greatest healer, and I know my fans will be just as excited as I am to work together to give the gift of music to as many children across the country as possible.” 

Added Shelton, “Music in schools is something I strongly support and believe in and I’m so glad they are partnering with Propeller to be part of our tour.”

Blake Shelton 2024 Phoenix setlist has surprise duet with Gwen Stefani. Here's what he sang

Country superstar and TV personality Blake Shelton  returned to metro Phoenix on Saturday, March 23, 2024, with the Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.

The fans who flocked to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, were treated to a concert packed with all the staples you’d expect to hear at this point in the man's career, from “Austin,” the chart-topping hit that announced his arrival in 2001, to "Come Back as a Country Boy,” the 2021 single that opened the concert," and "Purple Irises."

That last one is his latest in a series of duets with Gwen Stefani, Shelton's wife, who strolled out midway through the set to join her husband on that song "Nobody But You."

The concert also featured Dustin Lynch and Emily Ann Roberts, a rising country star fans may recognize from NBC’s “The Voice.”

After first crossing paths in their respective Coaches chairs in 2014, Shelton and Stefani have since celebrated dozens of relationship milestones, several wedding anniversaries, and many powerhouse musical collaborations. Some may have been shocked by the country king charming the California native, but  Shelton and Stefani's relationship  has become an obsession among  Voice  fans.

Through their public adoration and constant support for each other's passions, Stefani and Shelton's relationship takes romance to the next level.

When did Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani start dating?

Shelton and Stefani began dating in 2015.

The couple met for the first time in 2014 while mentoring Artists as Coaches on Season 7 of  The Voice . First connecting as friends who were navigating high-profile divorces, a romance later blossomed between the seasoned musicians.

In a 2016 interview with  Billboard , Shelton opened up about how connecting to process their mutual divorces led to their romance. 

"Next thing I know, I wake up, and she’s all I care about, and I’m ­wondering if she feels the same about me," Shelton shared. "Gwen saved my life. Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician? You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces.”

The two announced they were dating by Season 9 of  The Voice.

Shelton and Stefani made their red carpet debut as a couple in 2016 at the  Vanity Fair  Oscars Party. In a 2022 interview on  The Kelly Clarkson Show , Stefani dished the details about their first public outing as a power couple, admitting it had catapulted Shelton out of his comfort zone.

"That was my first public date with Blake Shelton, actually,"  Stefani told   Kelly Clarkson . "It was the Oscars  Vanity Fair  party. I think I played at the party and then we went out that night."

"He never does red carpets, now that I know him..." Stefani added. "That always melts me when I see it because it's, like, such a moment for me. A good one."

After Shelton and Stefani hard launched their relationship, his country charm became a non-obvious but delightful match for Stefani's West Coast aesthetic.

"It's not something that anybody could have seen coming — besides God, I guess. It doesn't look like it would make sense, you know?"  Shelton told CMT , according to  PopSugar . "But all I can tell you is, it does. It just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we're at in our lives."

And it didn't take long for Stefani to see the benefits of a cowgirl lifestyle. In January 2016, Shelton revealed to  ET  that he bought the "Hollaback Girl" a horse. 

"Gwen, she loves riding, and she loves horses. It's actually so funny that people are so shocked by that, but … name me one girl on the planet that doesn't love horses or just think that they are beautiful," Shelton gushed.

After being crowned  PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive  in 2017, it was Stefani who encouraged Shelton to lean into the title. Shelton revealed, "[Stefani] goes, 'Listen to me, you're going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don't take this gift and just live in the moment.'"

Stefani has opened up  about the unexpected nature of her relationship with Shelton, telling her fellow Season 22  Voice  Coaches that before she joined the NBC singing competition, the country king simply wasn't on her radar. 

“I’m gonna be brutally honest. When I first came on  The Voice  [in 2014], I didn’t know that Blake even existed really in the world,” Stefani told Shelton,  Camila Cabello , and  John Legend . “But then I did my homework and I could see that he was an amazing songwriter, and then I could see everybody falling in love with him.”

When did Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani get engaged?

Shelton and Stefani got engaged in October 2020. 

Stefani made the exciting announcement on  Instagram  on October 27 that year, sharing a photo of the diamond ring alongside the caption, " yes please!"

Shelton shared the good news and engagement photo with his Instagram followers,  captioning the post , "Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!"

While Shelton and Stefani were very open about their engagement, they took a slower road to the altar.

In a 2021 interview with  TODAY , Stefani revealed the proposal was "just natural," adding, "It's funny because he basically had the ring and it was right around my birthday. I was getting a little bit anxious ... cause I started having a little insecurity and so it was right on time."

After gushing over her "best friend" and fiancé, Stefani opened up about the couple's desire to take their time before heading down the aisle. 

"I think there was a lot to consider when you have so many people involved. Children, and their hearts, and everybody in my family [and] his family, we all went through a lot together," Stefani explained.

"So I think in a romantic way, when you fall in love so hard and so unexpectedly — and so late in your life — you think 'I want to marry you!' That's the first romantic reaction, like, 'Let's get married,'" Stefani continued. "So we always talked about it, of course, and I think that as the years were going by, it didn't need to happen. There was a lot of healing to do."

When did Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani get married?

Shelton and Stefani officially tied the knot on July 3, 2021.

And, who better to officiate the ceremony than the longtime Host of  The Voice ,  Carson Daly ? The couple and their loved ones enjoyed wedding festivities on  Shelton's Ten Point Ranch  near Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where Shelton and Stefani have been enjoying married life ever since.

In honor of their first wedding anniversary in 2022, Stefani shared a sentimental video montage of highlights from their wedding on social media, accompanied by Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."

"1 year down, forever to go!" Stefani she captioned the  Instagram .

For the couple's second anniversary, Stefani shared another video montage of the couple's cutest moments,  captioning the video , "happy anniversary  @blakeshelton , I love you."

Shelton has also shared heartfelt anniversary Instagram posts every year since his marriage to Stefani. For their first anniversary,  Shelton shared a picture  of Stefani beaming in her stunning wedding dress alongside the caption, "Happy anniversary to the woman that makes my world go round.. @gwenstefani, because of you, this year has been the best year of my life. I love you!!!! Thank you for saying yes!"

In honor of their second anniversary in 2023,  Shelton shared a photo  of the couple enjoying their wedding cake with the caption, "Happy anniversary @gwenstefani!!!! Every day has been the best day since I met you."

In a June 2022 interview with  People , Shelton took the opportunity to shine a spotlight on his powerhouse wife. 

"I wish everybody could have a chance to meet and talk to Gwen Stefani at some point in their life because you'll just be a better person for it, is the only way I know to say it," Shelton gushed. "She's just a magical person to be around."

In a September 2023 interview with  People , Stefani revealed how falling on love and marrying Shelton totally transformed her lifestyle. 

"I didn't see any of this coming with Blake. To be able to escape to Oklahoma, a place that I don't think I would have ever gone to, and when I met Blake, that's when I felt [at] home. 'Oh,  this  is where I'm supposed to be, with this guy,'" Stefani explained. "It was so automatic and just an amazing gift to be able to experience love like that for the first time."

How many kids do Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have?

While Shelton and Stefani haven't had any children together, they still relish their blended family.

Stefani is the proud mother  of three sons shared with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale: Apollo Bowie Flynn, Zuma Nesta Rock, and Kingston James McGregor. Since their 2021 wedding, Shelton has been enjoying his title as a stepdad to the boys.

After the couple got hitched, Shelton opened up about the impact becoming a stepfather had on his future. His desire to settle down and spend time with his family played a significant role in his decision to  retire from  The Voice  following Season 23 . 

“I think being a stepdad has changed my perspective in that I’m not the first person that I think about anymore," Shelton told  Access  in January 2023. "Even to the small little things when you go, ‘I think I’ll do this,’ the very next thought is always, ‘Well, wait a minute. How’s that going work?' Or, 'What will they think?' Or, 'How will that affect a schedule?'"

“I think the only way for me to really do that right is to step away from being committed to something like  The Voice  that demands a lot of your time," he continued. "There’s no way around it. If you’re going to do it and do it right, you have to be 150 percent in. And I just feel like those days are behind me for now. I got a more important job." 

Stefani explained more of the thinking behind her husband's decision in November 2022, telling  Extra , “It’s a lot of brain power, it’s a lot of time away from the family, those kinds of things. I think he just got to a point where he just wants time in his ranch, like time to just do the other things that he loves to do."

“I’m excited for him because we have lives outside of work, and it’s a really good life," Stefani added. "We have Oklahoma, which is something I never knew I needed and wanted. We planted a garden, we do all kinds of fun stuff. So we’re looking forward to doing some of that family stuff together. It's gonna be great."

Since leaving  The Voice , Shelton and Stefani have frequently shared photos from the Oklahoma ranch and their various performances on social media.

After falling for each other, it didn't take long for Shelton and Stefani to collaborate in the studio. Their first masterpiece was their 2016 collaboration "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which appeared on Shelton's album  If I'm Honest . The couple later performed the single during Season 10 of  The Voice . 

In 2017, the pair teamed up for  Stefani's Christmas album   You Make It Feel Like Christmas , with the  Voice  Coaches delivering the swoon-worthy titular hit. The couple hit the stage during the  2022 Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting  to deliver a rousing performance of the beloved song.

Stefani and Shelton continue to create infectious hits together, including 2019's "Nobody But You," which appeared on Shelton's  Fully Loaded: God's Country . They also performed the single at the 2020 Grammy Awards.   That same year, Stefani and Shelton joined forces on "Happy Anywhere" from Shelton's  Body Language. 

Adding to their original creations, Shelton and Stefani recorded a 2023 cover of  The Judd's "Love Is Alive."

In February 2024, Shelton and Stefani released their latest collab,  the duet “Purple Irises,”  a pop-country ballad centered around their steel-tight bond. Aside from the duet joining the  tracklist for Shelton's 2024 tour , the couple performed the hit before the  2024 Super Bowl .

Shelton and Stefani are each other's biggest fans, so it was only fitting for the pair to give speeches at each other's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies. That's right — both  Voice  Coaches have stars on the landmark, adding to the married couple's legend status. 

Shelton was inducted  in May 2023, and  Stefani received the prestigious honor  in October 2023.  Shelton had Stefani in tears  with his emotional induction speech for Stefani, highlighting her incredible abilities as a performer and mother.

"In my opinion, Gwen is the perfect person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame," Shelton said. "From music, television, and movies to fashion and beauty. She has risen to the top over and over again with her unique style that has made the world fall in love with her — not as much as me though."

"And then there's that one thing that no one could ever explain," Shelton continued. "It's that thing that she was born with that will make you stop and go, 'Wait. Who is that? What's her name? What does she do? Why do I love her already? What the hell?' That's the thing that God gives you and without question, God gave Gwen an extra scoop of it."

Gwen Stefani is setting the record straight about her marriage to Blake Shelton . The "Hollaback Girl" singer opens up about the state of their relationship and how her "insecurities" led to their latest collaboration. 

"The truth is I am in love with my best friend," she says in an interview for NYLON 's 25th anniversary issue, on newsstands April 16. "And all this s**t I'm thinking of in my brain, that's all it is -- I'm overthinking." 

To be clear, Stefani shuts down any rumors about tumult in the couple's relationship. 

"When you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship -- I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something," she says in reference to tabloid headlines about the pair. "It's just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is." 

Stefani is gearing up to perform at Coachella with No Doubt in Indio, California, later this month. While she admits that they "haven't really hung out or done anything" as of late, she does have a new collaboration out now with Shelton. The real-life couple  dropped their latest duet, "Purple Irises," in February. 

"I had been going through those times where you're questioning, 'Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'" she shares. "In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what's happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid." 

With "Purple Irises," Stefani and Shelton harmonize as they reflect on the passage of time in a relationship and sticking with the one you love.

"Everything fades, everything dies / Put me in a vase, but you can't / You can't stop time," Stefani croons on the nostalgic anthem. "It's not 1999 / But this face is still mine / The way you look at me / I swear my heart hits rewind." 

On the chorus, Shelton jumps back in as they vocalize together. 

"Wonder why you took a risk / On a broken heart you cannot fix," the couple sings. "No, I never knew a love like this / Now I'm picking purple irises." 

Shelton and Stefani famously met on the set of  The Voice  in 2014 and married in July 2021. Stefani shares three children -- sons Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10 -- with her ex-husband , Gavin Rossdale . 

"I told this to Blake the other day: 'You don’t understand — to be a mom and a wife and then write a record?' Everybody might be like, 'Why did it take so long?' Well, OK, I want to see  you  try to find five seconds to get creative," she tells NYLON of the challenges associated with motherhood. "It's so hard to squeeze it into the life that I have."

In fact, Stefani suspects that having children impacted her career and her relationship with her former bandmates negatively. She tells the mag that record executive Jimmy Iovine had called on her to hit the recording studio with Akon just weeks after she gave birth to her eldest child in 2006. 

"I was like, 'What are you talking about?,'" Stefani recalls. "The baby's nine weeks old." 

Then, it wasn't long before she learned she was pregnant again. 

"I think everyone was disappointed," she says of her bandmates' reaction to the news. "I don't think they would say that. No one's going to be mad you're having a baby. But while I was busy, they were waiting." 

The 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival  is set to run April 12-14 and April 19-21 featuring headlining sets from Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator and Doja Cat. No Doubt has a special honorary mention on the bill. 

The two shows, Stefani tells NYLON , will "be a really nice bow to tie on the relationship, because we were kids [when we met]."

Stefani's cover story marks the outlet's reintroduction of its print magazine for the first time since 2017. NYLON will also have a presence at the festival with its returning NYLON House. 

In a  recent interview with ET , Stefani gushed about putting out new music in 2024.

"I'm excited about that," she said. "I've been working on this for a long time. I've finally landed in that place where I'm obsessed, where I can't stop listening, so I feel like I'm somewhere."

For his part, Shelton is enjoying more time at home since exiting The Voice   last year after 23 seasons as a coach. 

"I want to finally have the opportunity to say yes to more stuff in my personal life," he previously told ET , "and not say, 'Let me check,' or just flat-out no."

As one of the most famous couples in the world, it’s inevitable that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani divorce rumors would circulate sooner or later. Well, one half of the couple has had enough and is addressing claims that she and her former Voice co-coach have split.

Shelton and Stefani are both former coaches on The Voice , NBCs reality TV singing competition series which features celebrity coaches and their teams of artists. They met in 2014 when Stefani joined The Voice as a coach in Season 7 and started dating a year later. (Shelton, for his part, had been a coach on The Voice since Season 1).

Shelton and Stefani got engaged in 2020 and married on July 3, 2021. “He’s changed my life … when I [started dating] Blake, that’s when I felt home, like, ‘Oh, this is where I’m supposed to be, with this guy,” Stefani told People in 2023. She added, “I am not really a dirt person, a bug person, I don’t like that much humidity. But it’s so beautiful [in Oklahoma], and you kind of feel like you’re going into this vortex. Nature — and God — is all right there.”

Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani divorcing? Rest assured, Voice fans, Shelton and Stefani are still together and not divorcing. Stefani responded to reports she and Shelton had split in an interview with Nylon in April 2024, where she called the divorce rumors “lies.” “When you’re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us,” she said. “You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship—I mean, a week ago, we were getting divorced again or something. It’s just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is…”

While she and Shelton are still together, Stefani confessed to Nylon that she still experiences “insecurities” in their relationship, which inspired the lyrics to her and Shelton’s new song, “Purple Irises.”

“I had been going through those times where you’re questioning: ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?’” she said of the song, which was released in February 2024. “In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.”

Shelton added, “It’s an insecurity we both have. These are conversations that she and I have with each other: ‘Are you still going to love me when I’m old or if I forget who I am?’”

Stefani also explained how “Purple Irises” was inspired by her own evolution as a partner. “Every single reference in the song is about the insecurities we sometimes feel. You can’t hold on to time, you have to keep evolving and moving forward — that’s true with love as well. There’s all different kinds of love, and it always evolves and changes. That’s really what the song is. That was the intention of the song,” she said.

F ollowing in his father Bryan Shelton's footsteps, World No. 14 Ben Shelton recently captured his first title on clay in the U.S. Men's Claycourt Championships in Houston. He outclassed defending champion Frances Tiafoe in the finals, winning 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.

Shelton has been under the supervision of his father since his early days in college tennis. He represented the Florida Gators, whose head coach was his father Bryan.

In June 2023, Bryan stepped down as the head coach of the Gators and became his son's full-time coach on the main tour. Since their partnership, Ben Shelton has captured two titles and has also reached the semifinals of the US Open 2023.

The American recenly recently lived up to his father's legacy and captured a tour-level title in Houston. While Bryan Shelton clinched the River Oaks International Tennis Tournament in Houston in 1992, Shelton conquered the U.S Men's Claycourt Championships in 2024. He became the youngest player to win the clay court event since Andy Roddick in 2002.

On that note, let's take a look at three father-son duos, who successfully claimed tour level titles during their career.

#3 Sebastian Korda and Petr Korda

Third on this list is none other than the duo of Sebastian Korda and Petr Korda.

Sebastian is one of the most talented players on the men's tour at the moment. He was ranked outside the top 100 in 2020, but is currently among the top 30 players in the world.

The American captured his first title on tour at the Emilia Romagna Open 2021 in Parma. He defeated the likes of Lorenzo Sonego, Yoshihito Nishioka and Tommy Paul en route to the finals and then beat Marco Cecchinato to lift the title.

His father Petr Korda had a remarkable tennis career, which lasted more than 15 years (1985-2000) at the highest level. He captured his first tour-level title in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1991 and went on to claim his first Major crown at the Australian Open in 1998.

Petr also clinched the Stuttgart Masters in 1997 and reached the finals of the French Open in 1992, where he lost to Jim Courrier 7-5, 6-2, 6-1. He reached a career high ranking of No. 2 in the world.

Apart from a title-triumph in Parma, Sebastian Korda has reached the finals of a main tour event on four more occasions. However, the American is yet to add to his trophy cabinet.

#2 Taylor Dent and Phil Dent

Second on the list are another American pair of Taylor Dent and Phil Dent. The father-son duo also captured titles on the main tour during their respective careers.

Former World No. 21 Taylor Dent announced himself on the men's circuit in 2002, when he captured the Hall of Fame Championships in NewPort. He defeated the likes of Alexander Popp and Robbie Ginepri en route to the finals and then showed his class against James Blake to lift the title.

Taylor went to win three more titles on tour in Bangkok, Memphis and Moscow. His best result at a Major came in 2003 when he reached the fourth round of the US Open. He called time on his tennis career in 2010.

His father, Phil Dent captured his first tour level title at the Sydney Outdoor Tournament in 1971. He defeated John Alexander in the finals in an epic five-set encounter.

The Australian went on the claim two more titles on home soil in Brisbane and Syndey in 1979. He also secured a runner-up finish in the 1973 Australian Open, his best result at a Major.

Lastly, Ben Shelton and Bryan Shelton make the list of father-son duos who have won a title on the main tour.

Shelton has been making waves on tour since his enthralling run at the 2023 Australian Open, where he reached the quarterfinals. The youngster experienced a tough spell post his breakthrough run in Melbourne, but continued to deliver decent performances.

He then reached the semifinals of the 2023 US Open and eventually captured his first title at the Japan Open a few months later. Since then, the American has been constantly improving his game and recently added another feather to his cap by claiming the U.S. Men's Claycourt Championships.

His father Bryan Shelton, who is currently his full time coach also had a successful tennis career during his time. Apart from a title-triumph in the River Oaks International in Houston, Bryan claimed two more titles on tour in Newport in 1991 and 1992. His best result at a Major was a third-round appearance in the 1994 Wimbledon Championships.
