2019 Trek Fuel EX Parts Diagrams
- Add to quote
hey all, i took apart the rear triangle and linkage on my 2019 fuel EX. looking for a parts diagram or diagrams so I can re-assemble properly. thanks!!!
Trek keeps these on lockdown eh? Or am I just blind. I had a Devinci Django before, and they had a great parts diagram with part #'s on it too, available on their site as a .pdf. I do see Trek has some website maintenance now, maybe it's a bad time?
Your local Trek Dealer has access to these. They would likely email you a pdf.
Pretty please, may I have an exploded parts diagram for my 2019 Trek Fuel EX 9.8, specifically the region of the linkage (m/n: 529949)?
I often take pictures as I go, and try very hard not to lose little parts in the grass, like I did for a few minutes this week. Doh!
thanks everyone!! I reached out to the local shop Velorution and they hooked me up with a PDF. Solid!
can you please share the pdf? i have an 2018 model but could it be useful anyways

Trek 4300 Bicycle Tire Replacement
Introduction.
This guide specifically demonstrates how to remove the tire from the front wheel of your bike. The process is similar for both the front and rear wheels. If you want to replace your rear tire, first just look at the guide showing how to remove the rear wheel then the sequential steps are the same.
What you need
Step 1 front wheel.
Stand facing your bike and locate the brake calipers.
To lessen the tension on the brake wire, place one hand on each caliper and push them closer together.
Add Comment
Unhook the brake wire in the metal tube from the brake wire holder on the brake caliper in your left hand.
Find the quick release lever located on the bikes fork to loosen the wheel from the frame.
Lift the lever from lock position 180 degrees until the open sign on the lever faces outward. Twist the lever while holding the pin on the opposite side of the wheel.
The quick release lever does not need to be completely removed.
Note which side of the bike the quick release lever is on for proper reassembly.
Pull the frame of the bike upwards to separate the front wheel.
Step 5 Inner Tube
To deflate the tire, remove the cap and attach the pump head to the valve. You should then hear air flowing out from the tire.
Push the valve upward through the hole in the rim.
Pull the tire away from the rim until you can insert your fingers under the tire coping to remove it from inside the rim.
Slide your fingers (still under the tire coping) around the circumference of the tire until you completely remove the tire from the rim.
It is easier to start removing the tire from the rim around the location of the valve.
Holding the valve, pull the tube out from the inside of the tire.
Step 9 Tire
Examine the inside of the tire to check for holes or tears before replacing.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

History and Iconic Models
Trek started out in 1975 by providing only frames. In 1976 they would supply entire bicycles.
For many people Trek is most famous for sponsoring Lance Armstrong’s U.S. Postal team during the late 90’s up to his retirement.
But Trek already pioneered the use of carbon fiber in 1989 with the Trek 5000.
It would result in the short-lived but daring design of the Y-Foil, introduced in 1998. One of the few bikes that is designated with something more than just a number.
They were also early adopters of the mountain bike craze, with the Trek 850 launched in 1983.
Their early foray in using carbon fiber would be later used with the introduction of the iconic Y33 and Y22 models. Mountain bikes with a monocoque carbon fiber frame. Although it used the suspension technique URT ( unified rear triangle ) which would turn out to be rubbish, the original design was considered iconic.
