Are you looking for the best night tours in NYC ?

Then you’re in the right place!

As a local New Yorker, I can vouch that New York’s nickname of “The City That Never Sleeps” is very appropriate. This doesn’t just go for nightlife, but also the many great tours you can do after dark.

Exploring NYC by night is one of the best ways to see the city, and it offers a totally different perspective compared to sightseeing during the day. Not only that, but some of the best tours in NYC happen after the sun has gone down.

You can admire the glittering lights of the NYC skyline at night on these tours, which allow you to explore the city on foot, by bus, by boat, by helicopter, and more.

You can also experience different sides of the city in the evening, from nightlife tours that take you to NYC’s best bars and clubs to ghost tours that explore the city’s haunted history.

On that note, keep reading for some of the best NYC night tours that will show you all that New York has to offer after dark!

How To Choose The Best NYC Night Tour

How do you choose the best New York night tour? There are a few important factors to consider when booking a night tour in NYC.

First, decide how active you want to be. If you’ve been walking around all day and want to get off your feet and rest, exploring by comfortable tour bus or boat tour is the best option; however, if you want to be more active, consider a nighttime walking tour or an NYC nightlife tour.

Similarly, don’t forget about the weather. If you’re visiting NYC in the winter , an outdoor tour at night may not be the best idea; but in the summer, nighttime can be the most pleasant time of day to be outside.

Finally, consider what you want to see. As a local New Yorker, some of my favorite sites to see after dark include the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building.

Additionally, if you can get a view of the entire skyline lit up, such as from an evening boat tour or helicopter tour, that can be truly special.

“An amazing tour, Andy was very knowledgeable and gave a personal touch. It was a little hard to hear him at times and it was disappointing that some other guests didn’t abide by the etiquette rules to not stand and block the view for others. Many photo opportunities were lost due to this. Overall an amazing experience and incredible tour.” Kelly Ann ( read more reviews now )

So, the route takes you under the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges for a unique perspective of Manhattan. Plus, you’ll be practically within touching distance of the Statue of Liberty.

“This was a fantastic tour and one of the highlights from our whole trip. Gordon was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We got to see two clubs on the trip, one was old school jazz and another was a newer club with a couple different groups playing. We got to experience Harlem in a way you could never do on your own. Do not hesitate to book this tour, its well worth an evening of your trip.” Anonymous ( read more reviews now)

See the world-famous NYC skyline from a unique perspective during this Luxury Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner Harbor Cruise .

You’ll begin your adventure cruising along the East and Hudson Rivers inside an all-glass boat. It comes with curved ceilings and walls that create stunning, 180-degree views.

As you sail through the water, the Manhattan skyline unfolds before your eyes, with iconic structures like the Freedom Tower and the Empire State Building making a guest appearance.

This exciting cruise also offers up-close views of Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.

Next, enjoy exceptional service during brunch, lunch, or dinner – a meal that is prepared for you by an expert chef.

A talented pianist also fills the air with live jazz, blues, and Broadway tunes that add to the beauty of this immersive experience.

“Beautiful evening on the water with my daughter. Wonderful soft jazz musicians and a live singer, delightful food, and the most amazing views of Manhattan. Photographer on board, cocktail menu and memories to treasure forever. Dress code was not strictly enforced, many females had open toe shoes/sandals and we’re allowed to board. One family with a toddler turned away for adult cruise but refunded. Tables were ore allocated so arrive early if you want to ask to be moved to a window seat as only a few opportunities may exist. One couple got engaged on the cruise and that was lovely. Many couples had roses and champagne on tables as they boarded. Adding together what we spent before boarding and whilst onboard, if was an expensive evening but I would highly recommend it. We got to see the lasers where WTC used to stand, Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, Empire State, Statue of Liberty, and it was really relaxing. Food from standard menu wax lovely too. Enjoy.” Catherine ( read more reviews now )

However, if you opt for the dinner cruise then you’ll listen to an acoustic trio featuring a baby grand piano, upright bass, and jazz guitar – making this night tour in NYC even more memorable.

FYI, I personally did this brunch cruise. I enjoyed UNLIMITED Mimosas that were paired with yogurt parfait and Brioche French Toast with Nutella Cream (so good).

All in all, it was a great experience and I would happily go back in the evening to enjoy one of the best night tours in New York City.

Grab a trench coat, make ’em an offer they can’t refuse, and get ready to learn anything and everything related to gangland in NYC.

Yeah, this Gangsters and Ghosts 2-hour walking tour is clearly one of my fave New York City Night Tours.

It not only takes you to some of the best spots in NYC but shares all the dirty deets about organized crime in NYC.

So, you’ll learn about the five crime families of NYC and get a detailed explanation of how they ran their empires from a seasoned historian, aka your guide.

You’ll even see infamous haunted houses in the West Village (where mob victims still float around ) and walk past Little Italy restaurants where mafia hits were carried out.

“The tour was brilliant! We really enjoyed it! Our tour guide, Pierre, was fun, interesting and knowlegeable. Due to the San Genaron Street Fest, Little Italy was a bit crowded when walking, but we were still able to hear what he was telling us and see what he was talking about. A lovely way to walk around Chinatown, Little Italy and Greenwich Village at night! Very recommendable!” Eileen ( read more reviews now )

Great selection of locations (my local friends told me the day after they were good choices to get a good feel of the Brooklyn bay scene).” Anonymous ( read more reviews now )

However, the grand finale is a trip to an underground dance club, famed for its electrifying house music and a line-up of international DJs.

Plus, you’ll love that this night tour includes entry fees and offers amazing savings on drinks.

The ferry does provide great views from either side as it follows the same route back swapping the side you had on the trip out, it also turns at Liberty to provide views all round. This was a super cold evening so this time of year wrap up warm, it’s cold out there! Or you can sit inside but the views not so good. Worth noting get there an hour early they begin to board around 6pm and the seats fill quickly, but it wasn’t over crowded. This is where the spirit of artist John Lafarge is said to roam and is a great place to stop before visiting one of the most notorious haunted houses in Manhattan.

“Rory was very knowledgeable and charming! His storytelling was engaging and historically accurate (I’m a history nerd), a rarity on tours of this kind. He guided us skillfully and professionally through several odd encounters with the usual NYC late-night populace, and even when his shoes spontaneously fell apart he stayed calm and on-schedule. I only wish I’d had a hot drink to keep me company – it was a dark and stormy night!” Natalie ( read more reviews now )

Deals and Offers

  • Things to Do at Night in NYC

In the city that never sleeps, there are a lot of tourist companies in New York City that offer bus tours either at sunset or after dark.

The city changes dramatically from day to night, and even the iconic landmarks look different when the sun goes down and the city glows.

A night bus tour is perfect for anyone who wants to experience NYC from a new perspective.

One of the most common types of night bus tours is offered by hop-on hop-off bus tour companies on double-decker buses.

From the top of a double-decker bus, you'll get unparalleled views and will have plenty of photo ops!

Brooklyn Bridge Self Guided Tour

Unlike day tours that allow you to hop on and off at various bus stops to explore at your leisure, night tours generally do not make stops. Instead, you stay on the bus for the duration of the journey.

Alternatively, you might also want to consider a small group bus tour, as these outings usually run much longer and cover a lot more ground.

Finally, you can also look forward to Christmas bus tours during the holiday season. Since they focus primarily on lighting displays, these tours are always offered after dark.

Prices for night bus tours range from $45 - $80 at most, with the average cost coming in at around $50 - $60 per person.

If you're looking to save money on this activity, make sure to check our deals section for details about the best deals on night bus tours in New York City.

DOUBLE DECKER NIGHT BUS TOURS

Below are bus companies that offer evening tours.

Ticket prices typically range from $45 - $79, making this one of the more affordable after-dark adventures through NYC.

None offer hop-on-hop-off service at night, rather these are continuous tours.

Several of the options below are offered free for holders of certain concession passes or combination tickets.

Be sure to check out our comparison of all the night bus tours for more info.

Top View NYC

This company offers NYC bus tours including a 90-minute night tour. There is frequent service, between 6 pm and 12 am on Monday through Thursday and 6 pm to 1 am on Friday through Sunday.

As with their competitors, this outing is not a hop-on hop-off service, but it does take place on a double-decker bus.

If you're interested in saving money, this tour is also included with their 2, 3, and 5-day hop-on hop-off bus tours.

Night Bus Tour

  • $59 per person
  • Purchase tickets or learn more .

Just some of the sites you will see on your tour are the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, the Brooklyn Bridge, the United Nations, Chrysler Building and Grand Central Terminal.

While the price point for this outing is much lower than others on our list, it's worth noting that this company doesn't typically receive great reviews.

We recommend considering all your options before settling on this one because we want you to have a good time!

Big Bus Tours

This company offers a guided night tour of Manhattan every night from 7 pm to 9 pm.

The departure point is at M&M World at 7th Avenue and West 48th St. in the Times Square area.

This is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. Thr route takes you from Midtown Manhattan to see all the landmarks that dazzle at night.

The bus then crosses the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn for some spectacular skyline views from your open-top bus.

  • Ticket Price: $69 per person

The tour has a live host who offers commentary in English. There is no audio commentary in other languages.

CitySights/Gray Line/City Sightseeing

This outfit also offers a night bus tour that takes you to several awesome New York City sites.

Although this is not a hop-on-hop-off service, a professional tour guide will provide commentary on all of the landmarks you will be passing.

This 90-minute bus tour is offered daily at 6:30 pm.

  • Ticket Price: $44 for Adults | $34 for Children

SMALL GROUP NIGHT BUS TOURS

This section will cover some of the best small-group bus tours available after dark in New York City.

Since these tours tend to be longer and more exclusive, you can expect prices to range from $50 - $80 or more.

USA Guided Tours

This is likely the longest night tour in NYC and you will surely see a lot of the city from both the comfort of your bus and through short guided walks at some of the bus stops.

Over the course of 4 hours, you'll see all of the most fascinating attractions in New York and you will get out for a few short guided walks as well.

Your adventure starts at 5:30 PM from the Times Square area. Just a few of the neighborhoods you drive through are Midtown East, Financial District, Tribeca, Battery Park City, Little Italy, Greenwich Village, and others.

nyc evening tours

Along the way, you'll stop and leave the bus for short guided walks of the High Line and Little Island Park, along the Hudson River, and Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport where you'll get stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Considering the length and breadth of this bus tour, the price of admission is more than reasonable.

  • Ticket Prices: $59 for Adults | $49 for Children | $53 for Military

Royal City Tours

This outing is very similar to the service offered by USA Guided Tours, as it is also a small group tour and it runs for approximately 4 hours at night.

What's even better is that their night bus tour is often provided multiple times each evening, with tours starting at 5:30 pm and 5:50 pm.

You can expect to see several notable landmarks as the sun is setting or after it finally goes down, including sites like Times Square, the Empire State Building, and more.

  • Ticket Prices: $55/Adults | $45/Children (4-10)

This is a fairly popular bus tour in New York City, and it's offered much later than most of their competitors, with tickets being offered as late as 7:30 pm and 7:45 pm.

Unlike other night bus tours, this one is focused more on entertainment, with two live comedic hosts providing an interesting look at the city.

Over the course of 75 minutes, you'll visit a wide variety of notable sites in NYC, including Times Square, Central Park and more.

  • $79 per person

NOTE: This tour is included on two tourist passes listed in our deals section .

CHRISTMAS NIGHT BUS TOURS

In addition to all the other night bus tours in NYC, there are also seasonal holiday services that visit the best lighting displays in the city.

You'll have a fantastic time seeing the sparkling lights from our warm and comfortable tour bus.

Below we go over holiday bus tours, and you can expect prices for these outings to run from $50 - $60 per person.

If you're not interested in their more traditional small group night bus tour, this company also offers a Christmas Magic Tour from December 1st - January 3rd.

This bus tour starts in Manhattan at 4:15 pm and runs for 3 hours and 30 minutes.

You can expect to visit sites in Dyker Heights and enjoy a walk under the Brooklyn Bridge.

  • $60/Adults | $55/Children (10 and under)

Tour America NYC

This company offers a Christmas bus tour visiting Dyker Heights and the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn.

These are some of the best places to spot beautiful lighting displays!

Like their competitors, this tour is around 3 hours and 30 minutes long.

However, this outing starts at 5 pm and runs later into the night.

Tickets are available from December 1st - January 1st.

  • $60/Adults | $50/Children (3-11)

See our New York Bus Tour Overview for more information on all of these services.

Several of the services we have listed here are actually available at a concession.

Alternatively, you'll also find several tour packages which include excursions after dark.

Is the New York Pass Worth It?

Here's a general rundown of the many deals and offers available on New York night tours.

  • Big Bus Tours – If you purchase either a 48-hour or 72-hour ticket, their night tour is sometimes included. These tickets are also included with several of their tour packages.
  • New York Pass – This tourist pass includes access to a variety of the services we've already listed, including Circle Line cruises and Big Bus Tours. They also offer The Ride at no additional cost. They also offer deals on Spirit Cruises, helicopter rides, and other sightseeing tours.
  • Explorer Pass – The Explorer Pass includes access to such services as Big Bus Tours, Circle Line cruises, and at times New York Water Taxi. You'll also gain admittance to attractions like Top of the Rock, Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall. Like its competitors, this company also offers admission to The Ride.
  • Sightseeing Pass – City Sightseeing offers its very own tourist pass including quite a few attractions and tours. You'll also enjoy access to locations such as One World Observatory, Madame Tussaud's, and the 9/11 Tribute Center.

Eco-tourism and eco-travel in New York City? Yes, the world's busiest cosmopolitan does a lot to make it an environmentally friendly destination. The best example of this is its highly useful and used mass transit system of subway and bus services. Citizens and visitors are highly encouraged to use this super efficient and cheap mode of transportation within the city.

Sustainable tourism is conscientious travel, and this means being careful with the environment and respecting the community. Visitors can contribute towards this effort by choosing mass transit over taxis, staying at eco-friendly New York City hotels or homestays that make an effort to be “green,” shopping at a locally owned store, and eating at a diner or coffee shop instead of at a branded fast-food chain. Plus, New York City recycles its bottles and cans (including bottled water), and travelers can look for containers for recyclables before discarding litter.

Outside of the everyday small things that people can do to be eco-friendly during an NYC vacation, they can also be kind to the environment while sightseeing and having fun in the Big Apple. Tourists have an incredible amount of interesting things to do in NYC, and the city offers them lots of eco-friendly options while doing so - in the form of eco-friendly NYC tours. Here is a list of some of the best eco-tours in New York City that let travelers explore its top sights and sounds while ensuring a low-impact, low carbon footprint at the same time.

The following eco-friendly tours in New York City were selected based on their minimal impact on the environment, low carbon footprint, and appreciation and value of nature. From walking and cycling tours to excursions to botanical gardens and farms that highlight nature's importance, these environmentally friendly NYC tours are worth it for eco-conscious travelers.

Historic NYC Downtown Walking Tour

Downtown New York City! No other historical neighborhood can lay claim to so much impact or influence in the world over a relatively brief period in global events, and so a tour like this one is an essential item on the bucket list of things to do in NYC for anyone.

The tour retraces the evolution of Lower Manhattan, the historic role of New York Harbor, and the covert activities of the Revolutionary War. While on the tour, visitors will explore key historical locations like Wall Street, Stone Street Historic District, Trinity Church, Federal Hall, Hamilton's grave site, etc., and discover how Lower Manhattan has transformed since 9/11.

Downtown Manhattan is one of the most densely populated places in New York City, and a walking tour is a refreshing and most eco-friendly way of seeing this iconic city.

Central Park Walking Tour

Central Park is certainly one of the most popular places in New York City. They say even a few days walking through Central Park (which is free to visit) will not be enough to cover its many hidden corners and stories. The only way to see the park to justify the park's true potential is by walking, and this expert-led Central Park Walking Tour offers views and entrance to areas unavailable to even cyclists.

It is a relaxing stroll of a little over two hours covering the history, structures, plants, animals, and movies filmed in the park, told in a way both entertaining for adults and children. Visitors are expected to have a moderate fitness level of being able to walk for 2 hours at a comfortable pace. Being a rather large park, it's best to follow a guide who knows it very well to have a richer experience.

About Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor calls them sandcastles. There’s a million of them, songs that rise up and multiply in her brain — the fruits of months, sometimes years, of channeling and crafting. But what happens to them when it’s time to make new music? “They all have to be slowly washed away. Some of them are really well built, and they’re really high up on the beach,” she says. “It all has to be gone, and then I can start to hear new songs and make a new record.”

Starting with a clean slate, with six momentous years between albums, Spektor returned in 2022 with Home, before and after. The eagerly awaited eighth studio album was the follow-up to 2016’s Remember Us to Life. It paired Spektor with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen), who produced the album from afar in Los Angeles with Spektor co-producing in upstate New York.

The years between her albums weren’t exactly fallow. In 2016, at her friend Lin-Manuel Miranda’s invitation, she contributed a song (“Dear Theodosia,” featuring Ben Folds) to The Hamilton Mixtape. Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared Regina Spektor Day in her hometown in June 2019, she got a street sign with her name at the Bronx Walk of Fame, and that same month staged a sold out residency on Broadway at the legendary Lunt- Fontanne Theatre.

Her work for television and film continued. “You’ve Got Time,” from Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, entered the pantheon of classic TV theme songs, so much so that Spektor released an orchestral version of the award-winning tune for the final episode. She wrote “One Little Soldier” for the closing credits of the film Bombshell and multiple songs for the animated series Central Park.

Time has been kind to Spektor’s work. Twenty years have passed since she self-released her 2001 debut, 11:11, which recently received a remastered reissue, as well as a limited-edition box set. In the decades since, Spektor, who was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in the Bronx, New York, has defied classification. With a sophisticated marriage of classical training and a gift for sharp pop hooks and nuanced lyrics, she has created her own genre. She makes Regina Spektor music.

Police van navigates around park-goers.

A third shocking attack has unfolded in Central Park in just 27 hours — recalling darker days when the iconic greenspace was plagued by violent “wildings,” and the infamous 1989 rape of a jogger in a case that sent shockwaves through the city.

The spate of violent robberies was followed on Saturday by a brazen snatch-and-grab theft, when a tourist sitting on a bench near East 74th Street had a bag with pricey camera equipment grabbed by a thief who took off running, police said.

The three violent robberies included an attack Friday night by a trio of armed muggers — who appeared to be just 14 or 15 years old — who accosted a man as he cut through the park, demanding the 25-year-old’s iPhone 11 at 110th Street and East Drive, cops said.

The brave victim  escaped by charging at his young attackers , prompting them to run, empty-handed, police said.

He then tripped and hurt his finger.

Teacher Ashikur R. Chowdhury, who is six feet tall and weighs more than 200 pounds, told The Post he didn’t hesitate to push back on the pint-sized perps.

“It’s really tragic that crime is back on the rise, because for a little bit there Central Park was staying out of the headlines, and now it’s getting back in there because it’s getting worse. It makes me really sad,” Chowdhury, 25, of Harlem said.

The would-be robbery followed two other, disturbing incidents: a man held at gunpoint, robbed and assaulted while taking pictures inside the park , and a woman who was set upon by a pervert who grabbed her and demanded, “Give me your phone, give me your wallet, give me sex,” authorities said.

The episodes occurred as crime in the park has soared.

Robberies are up 400% — with 15 as of April 21, compared to three in the same period a year prior, NYPD data show.

The three newest attacks aren’t included in those statistics.

Word of the scary incidents has left New Yorkers shaken.

A lifelong New Yorker said the city is “already” back to the bad old days.

“It’s unsafe,” said the Upper East Sider, 63, who declined to give their name.

The three attacks took place over a 27-hour period.

“We had a good 20 years, under [Mayor Rudy] Giuliani and [Mayor Michael] Bloomberg. It was a nice stretch. Now it’s getting worse and worse every day.

“Even the doormen don’t feel safe, even in our area,” the filmmaker claimed. “You have stores being robbed. It’s unpleasant. …It’s gone down so far, it will take a lot to bring it back.”

Steven Bollon and his wife Caroline live in Manhattan but are considering moving to Florida, they said, in part because of the crime.

A woman running in Central Park.

“Since Covid something snapped. There are a lot more incidents,” Bollon, 60, said, saying they feel a sense of “uneasiness.”

“That’s really crazy,” said Hermon Daniel, 27, a restaurant hostess who lives on the Upper West Side and walks through Central Park to get to and from work.

“It’s not an affordable area [to live] so you would think, if I’m going to spend this much more in rent for peace of mind, it should be safe.”

Central Park West 97th Street and West Drive

In the 80s, groups of teenagers were known to go into the park in groups and attack unsuspecting victims as a pack, which became known as “wilding,” with the roving perps stealing, hitting and punching their targets.

“They’d swarm the people and beat them and rob them,” a police source recalled.

“The more you resisted, the worse it was.”

Central Park West 110th Street and East Drive

While Chowdhury wasn’t injured by his attackers, man attacked on Friday morning was punched twice in the face as one of the robbers pointed the gun at his head, cops said.

They then stole an iPhone 8, an iPhone 13 and a wallet from him before taking off on mopeds on a bike path, police said.

The woman was also punched in the face and then knocked to the ground during the attack at West 97th Street and West Drive, authorities said.

A man was assaulted and robbed by three males by The Pond in Central Park in Manhattan, NY on April 26, 2024

“I want sex,” said the man — who made contact with her chest as they struggled.

He then punched the petite woman in the face and knocked her to the ground, taking off with her iPhone 11, police said.

The brute who was described as being 5-foot-9 with curly short black hair, wearing all black — took off and hasn’t been caught, cops said.

The woman refused medical treatment.

She later told The Post she was “okay,” before declining further comment.

It wasn’t clear if any of the attacks were related and investigators were canvassing the park for video, cops said.

“It scares the shit out of me. Things have deteriorated,” said Ruth Peltason, 65, a writer and editor who lives in Manhattan, who recalled how a friend’s daughter was mugged in Central Park last summer.

“I’m very mindful of where I walk, especially as a woman, you walk with eyes in the back of your head.”

Tank Dell was wounded in a nightclub shooting in Florida Saturday night ... after the 23-year-old wide receiver was caught in the crossfire.

Thankfully, the former 3rd round draft pick (2023) only sustained minor injuries, according to his organization.

"We have been made aware that Tank Dell was a victim of a shooting in Sanford, Fla. last night. He sustained a minor wound but has been released from the hospital and he is in good spirits," the Texans said in a statement Sunday afternoon.

"We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident."

The bar, Cabana Live -- located about 30 minutes from Orlando -- was hosting a private party Saturday night/Sunday morning when the gunfire erupted.

While much about the incident remains unclear, a 16-year-old was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, as well as several other charges, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Department. The incident started with a verbal altercation, per cops, before the gunshots erupted.

All told, 10 people, including Dell, were wounded.

Dell's coming off a very productive rookie season, despite injuring his leg in December. Tank caught 47 balls for 709 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Pauly Shore says he was ‘up all night crying’ after Richard Simmons said he did not approve biopic

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Pauly Shore revealed he was “up all night crying” after Richard Simmons shared his disapproval of the biopic the comedian was starring in.

The “Encino Man” star, 56, took to Instagram on Friday, telling the fitness guru that he’s the “perfect” guy to play him on the big screen.

“You guys, I was up all night crying regarding Richard Simmons’ tweet. Richard, how do you not approve of this movie? I mean, really, who’s better to play you in a movie than ME?” Shore wrote.

Pauly Shore in 2000.

“Leonardo DiCaprio’s not gonna play you. Brad Pitt’s not gonna play you. I’m perfect. Everyone already thinks I’m you. We’re the same. Beautiful, inside and out. Hellll yea!”

Shore then urged Simmons, 75, to listen to the pitch before deciding against the film.

“Why don’t you simply let me come over to your house, bring you some warm matzo ball soup and a pastrami sandwich with dark mustard from Canters, rub your feet, and we can listen to the writer, Jordan Allen-Dutton, pitch you our idea?” he continued.

The “A Goofy Movie” voice actor then told Simmons that he would “love” the biopic, which he called the “most beautiful cinematic masterpiece.”

On Thursday, Simmons tweeted his disapproval of the film , writing that he’s “in talks with major studios” to create his own biopic “with some help.”

“I just read that a man I don’t know is writing my bio pic (sic) starring Pauly Shore. I do not approve this movie,” he wrote, urging fans to wait for his work.

This isn’t the first time the “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” star has condemned the Shore-led movie.

In January, Simmons made a rare public statement with a Facebook post telling his fans that he did not give his consent for the biopic.

Richard Simmons.

“Hi Everybody! You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore. I have never given my permission for this movie. So don’t believe everything you read,” he wrote.

Simmons also informed his fans that he no longer had a publicist or manager because he tries “to live a quiet life and be peaceful.”

Shore also starred as the aerobics trainer in the unrelated short film “The Court Jester,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
