‘drake - rescheduled’: it’s all a blur tour makes major changes for houston show, here’s what you need to know.

HOUSTON – Champagne Papi and The Saint Laurent Don are heading to H-TOWN this year, however, the duo made some changes to ensure their #1 fans have the chance to see them live.

Originally, rappers Drake and 21 Savage were expected to hit the stage for the ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ at the Toyota Center on June 21, 22 however, the venue has announced another date.

Now, the duo, who just released their joint album ‘ Her Loss ’, have rescheduled the show to Sept. 17, 18, 2023.

According to the Toyota Center website, those who cannot attend the new show will be sent information on how to request a refund.

“The upcoming Drake shows at Toyota Center scheduled for June 21 & 22, 2023 have been rescheduled to Sept.17 & 18, 2023.

All tickets for the original show date will be honored, so hold on to your tickets. No action is needed if you wish to attend this rescheduled show. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, more information will be sent to ticket purchasers on how to request a refund. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We hope to see you at Toyota Center soon.”

Drake Announces 2023 North American Tour With 21 Savage

Drake has announced a 2023 North American tour with 21 Savage . The It’s All a Blur Tour will kick off in June and take him through to September. The pre-sale begins Wednesday (March 15) at 12 p.m. local time via Cash App . There’s an announcement video on Instagram .

On Thursday, March 16, Drake announced additional dates in Houston, Dallas, Miami, Detroit, Montreal, Brooklyn, New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Inglewood, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Las Vegas. Find the full itinerary below.

While he has held one-off performances in the past few years—like his shows at Harlem’s Apollo Theater or his October World Weekend —the It’s All a Blur Tour is Drake’s first since 2019 , before the onset of the pandemic . He is also set to co-headline the 2023 edition of Dreamville Festival alongside J. Cole.

Last year Drake released both Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss , his collaborative LP with 21 Savage. He dropped Certified Lover Boy in 2021.

Drake Announces Additional Tour Dates, Delays Start

Drake is extending his tour through the fall.

Due to popular demand, the Toronto rapper has added 12 additional dates to his “It’s All A Blur” tour with 21 Savage, bringing the run of shows to 54 dates across North America.

The new itinerary includes a fourth show at L.A.’s Kia Forum and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. He has also added second shows in Glendale and Nashville, along with new dates in Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin, and Charlotte.

The tour will now close out with two shows at Scotiabank Arena in Drake’s hometown of Toronto on Oct. 5 and Oct. 7.

Drake has also delayed the start of the tour. Originally set to kick off June 16 in New Orleans, his first tour in five years will now begin June 29 in Memphis.

The Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta dates, originally slated between June 17 and July 2, have been rescheduled for Sept. 14 through Oct. 2. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.

Tickets for Cash App Card and Sprite pre-sales will be available starting Wednesday, April 26. The general on sale begins Friday, April 28 at 12 p.m. local time.

God's plan for Drake's tour is to add Austin show, pushing Houston dates back to September

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It must have been in God's plan for Drake to stop in Austin in his highly-anticipated 2023 "It's All A Blur" tour with rapper 21 Savage. But now, this means the Houston shows have been rescheduled.

You can still toosie slide your way over to the Toyota Center for Drake's summer tour, but his shows will come nearly two months after the original June 21 and 22 dates.

The Canadian-born rapper decided to add a stop in Austin, pushing his Houston shows to Sept. 17 and 18.

If you can't make it to either of those, you can catch him in Austin on Sept. 11 or in Dallas on Sept. 14 and 15.

This marks the four-time Grammy-award-winning artist's return to touring since headlining Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour in 2018.

In the last five years, Drake has released four albums, including his most recent album "Her Loss" in collaboration with 21 Savage, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Presale tickets will be available throughout the week ahead of the general sale starting Friday, April 28 at noon on Drake's website .

Today, contemporary R&B superstar PartyNextDoor announces the PARTYNEXTDOOR: Sorry I’m Outside Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour kicks off on Wednesday, June 19th at The Van Buren in Phoenix making stops across the U.S. and Canada in Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Montreal, New York City and more before wrapping up in Chicago at The Salt Shed on Thursday, August 15th. The tour will also include a special Toronto show, which will be announced at a later date.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of PARTYNEXTDOOR’S long-awaited album PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4) , which released last Friday, along with the sultry music video for the standout track   “For Certain.” PARTYNEXTDOOR: Sorry I’m Outside marks the R&B artist’s first tour since 2018.

Watch: warriors rookies attend a drake concert at the chase center, share this article.

Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski both impressed during their rookie season. Both managed to break into the Golden State Warriors starting lineup for stretches, and both displayed a skillset that should see them remain with the franchise for years to come. However, with the Warriors season now over, Jackson-Davis and Podziemski will now find themselves with a lot of time on their hands.

In a recent video uploaded to the Warriors YouTube channel , the two rookies relive their experience of attending a Drake concert together. They noted how 21 Savage was also part of the gig at the Chase Center.

The upcoming months will undoubtedly involve a significant amount of workouts and individual drills as both look to improve their games and continue pushing forward with their careers. Nevertheless, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying some live music, especially when it’s happening in the building the Warriors call home.

Gunna Previews What to Expect On The Bittersweet Tour

Gunna invited Complex to the rehearsals of his upcoming Bittersweet Tour before he drops his new album ‘One of Wun’ on May 10.

It’s a good time to be a Gunna fan. His new song "Whatsapp (Wassam)" is out now , his album One of Wun is dropping May 10 , and he’s about to head out on tour.

Gunna invited Complex to his rehearsals in Los Angeles and previewed what he’s cooking up for The Bittersweet Tour, which kicks off this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. In a word, it’s ambitious. Sitting in the middle of the stage is a huge statue of Gunna’s head from the DS4Ever album cover, tipped on its side in front of a massive video wall. And if you look up, you’ll see a giant bird hovering over an icy landscape.

I won’t give away all of the surprises, but Gunna has taken his stage show to a bigger, more grandiose level than he ever has before. These performances will easily live up to the large scale of venues like Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, where he’ll end the tour with a homecoming show on June 11.

Expect to hear a lot of recent hits, including standouts from the best album of 2023 ( a Gift and a Curse ) , plus songs and features from elsewhere in his catalog. And he’ll be doing it all with support from Flo Milli , who will be joining as an opener on the tour.

Kendrick Lamar is taking aim at Drake in a brutal new diss track .

The rapper, 36, on Tuesday tore into Drake on his new song "Euphoria," marking the latest escalation of their ongoing feud. It's a response to Drake's own songs directed at Lamar, who in March rejected the idea that he and Drake are on the same level as rappers.

If the lyrics didn't already make it clear enough that the song's subject was Drake, the title itself is a not-so-subtle reference to the "First Person Shooter" rapper, who is a producer on the HBO series " Euphoria ."

'Euphoria' lyrics: Kendrick Lamar raps Drake is a 'scam artist' in diss track

In the song, Lamar raps about how the "famous actor we once knew is looking paranoid and now spiraling." Drake famously began his career as an actor on "Degrassi: The Next Generation."

Lamar goes on to call the subject of the track a "pathetic master manipulator" and a "habitual liar" who is "not a rap artist" but "a scam artist." He says that he makes music "to electrify 'em," while Drake makes music "to pacify 'em."

"I'm the biggest hater. I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk," he continues. "I hate the way that you dress. I hate the way that you sneak diss."

"How many more fairytale stories about your life 'til we've had enough?" Lamar raps. "How many more Black features 'til you finally feel that you're Black enough?"

Drake, who is biracial, was previously called out by Pusha T in a similarly vicious feud for a photo featuring him in blackface. After Pusha T used the picture as the cover for his diss track "The Story of Adidon," Drake said the blackface photo was from 2007 when he was working on a "project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotyped and type cast." Pusha T also revealed Drake had a child, unbeknownst to the public at the time.

Lamar also seems to take a shot at Drake's relationship with his son, Adonis. "I got a son to raise, but I can see you don't know nothing about that," he raps.

What to know about Kendrick Lamar and Drake's beef

Lamar and Drake's feud goes back more than a decade to 2013, when Lamar rapped on the Big Sean song "Control" about how he wanted to "murder" Drake and other prominent rappers.

Earlier this year, Lamar appeared on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That" and rejected the idea of there being a "big three" in rap, declaring on the track, "It's just big me." The lyric was a response to J. Cole referring to himself, Drake and Lamar as the "big three" on Drake's 2023 track "First Person Shooter."

Drake subsequently fired back with two diss tracks directed at Lamar, "Push Ups" and "Taylor Made Freestyle." "Taylor Made Freestyle" was later pulled from streaming services after Tupac Shakur's estate threatened to sue over the use of a AI voice imitation. "The unauthorized, equally dismaying use of Tupac's voice against Kendrick Lamar, a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to Tupac and his legacy publicly and privately, compounds the insult," a cease-and-desist from the estate obtained by USA TODAY said.

Lamar references this on "Euphoria" by rapping that Shakur is turning "in his grave."

J. Cole also responded to Lamar on the song "7 Minute Drill" in April, rapping, "He still doing shows but fell off like 'The Simpsons." He also rapped that Lamar is past his "prime." But shortly after releasing the song, Cole apologized and said it was "lame" and "goofy" of him to do so.

"I ain't gonna lie to y'all the past two days felt terrible," he told the audience at the Dreamville Festival days later, going on to call Lamar as "one of the greatest."

Center City of Amarillo to host tour of historic buildings this Saturday

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Center City of Amarillo will host a downtown tour of historic buildings in the Main Street District this Saturday.

The free tour will feature several buildings in the area, including the Paramount Theater, the Kress Building, the Woolworth Building and more.

Event organizers say the tour will begin at 10 a.m. in the Paramount building lobby, 826 S. Polk St.

“In 2006, Center City and the Amarillo Historic Preservation Foundation raised funds to bring the iconic Paramount sign back to downtown. The Paramount sign has become a symbol of downtown’s revitalization,” said Beth Duke, executive director of Center City.

The tour is part of the Texas Main Street Imagine the Possibilities, a project to promote DowntownTX .
