  Summer Programs

One-on-one custom visits .

Students and families have the opportunity to meet with a staff member for 45 minutes to find out more about Early Start or Summer Start.  We will schedule your visit around other campus activities (for example, Daily Visits with Admissions, information sessions, and 1-1 visits with academic majors).  One major benefit is that students save an average of $54,400 by using summer courses to graduate early.  More than 700 incoming students took advantage of summer courses last year.

Early Start 

Earn up to 9 credit hours before the fall semester.  Students can complete the program online or on-campus.  This program is open to students admitted to the fall semester. 

Summer Start 

Some students are admitted directly to Summer Start by the Office of Admissions.  This residential program provides access to a success coach through graduation, involvement in a learning community, and much more.  This program is only offered in the initial admissions letter from the Office of Admissions.

International Student Information Sessions

These 90-minute virtual information sessions are for admitted international students. Sessions will be presented and moderated by an international admissions counselor, who will walk you through next steps as an admitted student. Topics of discussion will include the student visa process, international student orientation, and being a part of the Purdue community. Participants will also have the opportunity for their questions to be answered by a live student panel at the conclusion of each session.

The April 5, 8:00 AM event is designed for students who were admitted to Purdue University in Indianapolis, however all are welcome to attend!

This two hour virtual information session is for students who are interested in transferring to Purdue. Sessions will be presented and moderated by an admissions counselor, who will walk you through next steps as transfer student. Participants will also have the opportunity to opt in to a first-come-first-serve 15 minute one-on-one meeting with one of our admissions counselors.

Admitted Student Event - Purdue's For Me

Purdue's for Me is developed specifically for admitted students. Offered on three dates during the spring semester, this program is designed to answer all your questions and show you and your family what it's like to live and study at Purdue in Indianapolis! Plan your visit well in advance to ensure we have available space on your desired date.

Join one of our online (virtual) information sessions where you'll hear from our staff, faculty, and students. During these virtual events we'll discuss student services and resources, admissions details, and first-year engineering curriculum. We'll conclude with a student panel and address questions from the audience.

The Minority Engineering Program (MEP) at Purdue University was initiated in 1974 as one of several initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion in the College of Engineering.

MEP offers programs, camps, and outreach initiatives at the K-12 level to encourage interest in the field of engineering as a whole, boost college preparation and readiness, and promote a diverse field of engineers around the world. They also support current Purdue Engineering students through programs, mentorship, and alumni networking.

Events range from one-hour virtual chats with a current student to all-day on-campus experiences designed to answer questions about the next steps for accepting your offer — and to show you and your family what it is like to live and study at Purdue. High school students who have not yet applied to Purdue and their family members have options for visiting the Polytechnic Institute on Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus. Aviation Technology Airport Visit

Specialized tours of the Polytechnic’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology are taken separately from Polytechnic Information Sessions. Both high school students who have not applied to Purdue and high school students who have applied to an aviation major at Purdue are invited to attend.

These sessions include a presentation by the Recruitment Coordinator followed by a tour of the Purdue Airport and facilities. Guests will learn about Purdue’s Aviation majors, student projects, careers and more! The information session and tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours.

The  Visitor Information Center  maintains a set of  directions to Purdue University  on the web. These directions will take you to either the Visitor Information Center or the Visitor Parking Garage. Print a copy of  this map  and use it to navigate from either of these two locations to the College of Pharmacy. We are in the building labeled "RHPH" (for the Robert HeinePharmacy building), located in grid F5 on the map. A map of  the entire campus  is also available. Prospective graduate students

Generally, you should contact the graduate program in which you are interested. The College's graduate programs are administered by the three departments in the College -  Industrial and Molecular Pharmaceutics ,  Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology , and  Pharmacy Practice . Additionally, some of the faculty in the College participate in some of the University's interdisciplinary graduate programs, which can be contacted directly.
