Kentucky Toyota Assembly Plant Tour Visitor Info & Review
Welcome to Toyota’s assembly plant in Georgetown, Kentucky
Georgetown, Kentucky is home to the country’s largest Toyota manufacturing facility. Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc.–known as TMMK and built in 1988–constructs 2,000 vehicles and engines daily in its 7.5 million square foot facility. And as a guest of TMMK, you have the opportunity to view production.
Address: 1001 Cherry Blossom Way, Georgetown, Kentucky 40324
Directions: Take I-75 to exit 129; head east on KY-620 Cherry Blossom Way and enter Gate 2. A security guard will tell you where to park: a left turn into a parking lot in front of the Visitor Center.
Parking: Plenty of free on-site parking is offered for cars and buses.
Cost: Tours are free.
Hours: Plant tours are Monday through Friday at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 6pm (on Thursdays only). The Visitor Center is open from 8:30am-3:30pm on weekdays, with extended hours on Thursdays.
Reservations: Strongly encouraged but not mandatory. Walk-ins will have to wait for a vacant spot on the next tour. Call 502-868-3027 or 1-800-TMM-4485 to reserve a spot. A valid photo ID is required upon check-in.
Rules: Like most factory tours, the following are not permitted: cell phones, cameras, and purses/book bags/brief cases. These items are allowed in the visitor’s center but will be collected at the check-in desk before boarding the tour. Children must be older than 6 years (first grade or above).
Handicap Accessible: Those with physical disabilities are able to access the visitor’s center and board the seated, motorized tour. Headphones are provided to hear the tour narration.
At the visitor’s center, you can drop off your phone, camera, and other belongings for safekeeping during the tour
Experience: Upon arriving at the Visitor Center and checking in at the main desk, you will be able to browse the 11,500-square-foot welcome area that features archival footage, milestone vehicles, and information on the company. There’s even a gift shop selling Toyota merchandise.
Once your tour time is called, you’ll gather in a room to watch a video on the history of the plant and safety guidelines on the tour. You will then be assigned to a tour guide, receive your wireless headset, and board the motorized tram.
Your ride will take you through the assembly plant as you see the inner workings of an automotive assembly plant in action–from the arrangement of the cabin to the steel stamping. You’ll wear a headset for your audio-guided tour so you can hear the leader explain everything you see, and goggles for safety.
The entire experience, including seeing the welcome center, lasts two hours.
TMMK also has an Environmental Education Center for groups of students. The surrounding 50 acres of nature feature a walk through wetlands and prairies with signs that detail how the brand and facility are keeping the Earth green.
You can get one of these after taking the tour!
Review: First of all, this tour is absolutely free, and getting the type of experience you get seeing the Toyota assembly plant in action is worth a drive. Plus, Georgetown is in the bluegrass region, right near the beautiful and horse-loving city of Lexington , so visiting TMMK should be part of your vacation.
Finding and checking in at the plant is simple and streamlined. The welcome center offers plenty to see while visitors are waiting for their tour. And the tour itself is very thorough, so it’s engaging for those who aren’t normally interested in cars.
The headsets are a brilliant addition which make the tour more informative and engaging than other tours which rely on audible conversation . Even if you’re not a fan of Toyota, TMMK has made the definitive factory tour experience , making automobile assembly fascinating for all people.
When you go, make sure you pick up one of their postcards as a memento of your experience!

It rolls in Odaiba!
Whether you are a car enthusiast or not, a visit to the Toyota Mega Web Theme Park should be on your to-do list when visiting the man-made island of Odaiba. A fun and interactive way to discover and test all the latest innovations from the Japanese automotive giant.
The world of the car
Since 1999, T oyota Mega web has offered free visitors from all over the world to discover the Toyota technological empire . In addition to the presentation of its latest models, its technological innovations and its commitment to mobility accessible to all, the car manufacturer, founded in 1937 , retraces the great global adventure of the automobile. This huge complex consists of three pavilions : the Toyota City Showcase, the Ride Studio and the History Garage.

Toyota City Showcase
On two levels, the Toyota City Showcase gives pride of place to the many activities of Toyota . Most of the first level is occupied by a huge showroom where more than 60 different models are displayed. Here, there is no need to keep your hands in your pockets! Everyone can touch the vehicles at their leisure, open the trunk and doors and even take a seat inside . Needless to say, it's hard to resist the urge to get behind the wheel. Go ahead without fear, it's allowed!
Other cars on display tell those who might not know that Toyota doesn't just produce commercial cars . Away without fail!
Toyota has indeed been successfully involved in motorsport since 1962. From the Sports 800 to rally cars via Formula 1 , you will discover many models of sports cars.
In the nearby Mega Theater , a dynamic cinema session also offers a driving simulation of one of its racing cars.
Racing video games also punctuate your visit. Ready for a game?

In the shoes of a racing driver
If you prefer real driving sensations to the virtual world of arcade games, head straight to the Ride One area where Toyota Mega Web offers you the opportunity to test drive one of its models on a real racing circuit !
The latter, 1.3 km long , stretches between the theme park and the nearby Venus Fort shopping center. Even if you are only entitled to two laps of the track at a limited speed, the experience is nonetheless exceptional!
However, if you feel the soul of a driver, know that it is mandatory to book your driving test . The reservation is open until the same day , 30 minutes before departure and subject to availability.
And above all, you must have your driving license (Japanese or international license) .
Level 2 of the Toyota City Showcase presents the latest technologies developed by the manufacturer in terms of safety, hybrid and ecological vehicles .
Demonstrations of concept cars like the brand's I-Road take place there regularly.
Test your favorite model on the Ride One circuit
Ride Studio
Who says theme park says activities for children . These take place in the second area of the park: the Ride Sudio. Toyota offers the youngest an introduction to the highway code as well as a first driving experience on two indoor and outdoor tracks! It should be mentioned right now that these activities are chargeable and require a good level of understanding of Japanese ; an essential condition for understanding the safety instructions provided.
Several types of vehicles are available depending on the age of the child: karting (for 6-18 year olds), Camatte (for primary school children with a parent), Pius (for 6-9 year olds), Kids Hybrid Car (a hybrid car assembly workshop with driving experience from 6 years). The little ones are not left out because the Petit Ride One is their dedicated circuit. Children aged 3 to 5 get behind the wheel of mini cars on a special circuit.
History Garage
Finally, the third pavilion of Toyota Mega Web is an enchanting journey retracing the history of the automobile. In a neat decor imitating the Tokyo of the 1960s , collector's models from the world's leading manufacturers are on display, including a Chevrolet Impala, a Cadillac Serie 62, a Chevrolet Corvette Stringway, a Messer Schmitt...
Several French cars are among them: a Traction avant Citroën 11 B, a 2CV and a 4L. Nostalgia guaranteed!
Discover iconic cars from around the world at the History Garage

And above all, don't forget to pass in front of the real garage where experienced mechanics work on certain models. Forward, everything!

Experience the Toyota Factory Tour Japan
Visiting the Toyota plant in Japan is not difficult. The Nagoya Toyota factory is easy to reach from Nagoya, so we did it as a day trip – and arrived there at 10 am, ready for our 11 am tour. The Toyota Factory Tour even has its own train station (so if you’ve got a JR Pass it’s EASY to get to).
Be sure to pick up your JR Pass BEFORE you get into Japan – it will save you a FORTUNE on trains and make life very easy. You can buy a 7, 14, or 21-day pass and get it shipped to your home address for free.
The best way to travel around Japan is by train – and you can save a fortune on train travel in Japan by buying the JR Pass BEFORE you get to Japan. You can buy the JR Pass from a number of outlets. We recommend: Get your JR Pass from KLOOK here. – estimate 2 weeks for delivery of the exchange order Buy a JR Pass from JRAILPASS here – get it Fedexed within 24-48 hours to any location including a Fedex office or your hotel in Japan.
There is a cafeteria at the Toyota Kaikan museum where you’ll check in, so if you arrive early there are places to sit, get a drink, and eat snacks.

Visit the Toyota Factory Tour Museum
The Toyota Factory museum is free to enter and you do not need a guide to explore it. As we had arrived early for our tour we spent an hour exploring.
You also get to look around at all the cars that Toyota hopes you will buy. The best was the car fitted for those with disabilities. It’s possible to sit in most of the cars and really check them out while you’re here.
One of the best things about the Toyota Museum Japan is the fact that they have a robot that has an artificial lung that plays the trombone. And it is pretty damned cool.
Our Experience of the Toyota Factory Tour in Japan
As on the Mazda tour , there are no photos allowed on the tour of the Toyota plant. And when we head off we’re bussed between various parts of the plant, which is impressive and incredibly efficient.
We see several parts of the production line. We learn about just-in-time manufacturing and how quality is valued over quantity and speed.
It’s interesting that I thought it would be groundbreaking and look like it. But it looks like a regular production line until you look a little closer. Their multi-model lines are designed to build multiple models on the same line, which is pretty awesome.
There are way more people involved in the production lines than I expected (there are 7,500 people employed here in the Nagoya factory), and many fewer Toyota factory robots than I anticipated.
Perhaps I’m missing something, but the Mazda factory tour beats it hands down. However, if you’re in Nagoya, then you shouldn’t miss this tour. And yes, a reminder, it’s free.
It was good. But was it great? No. So I left Toyota, the car in front, feeling like it was definitely the brand behind after my trip to their factory.
And that’s interesting (to me at least). That in my trip to Japan, I’ve had my brand perceptions turned on their head. Mazda , who I felt pretty ho-hum about – I’m now gung ho about. Toyota is the opposite. Those instant noodle packets that I saw in shops and thought, pah, no, looks cheap and nasty are now the ones that I will buy above all others. Yup, I’m definitely sold on Cup Noodles. Oh, and Asahi beer. Yup, I’ll take that and the Asahi free brewery tour and tasting over a poor Sapporo beer and tour and expensive beer hall experience any day.
Just goes to show, that when you dig in a little, perception differs wildly from reality. Now, if only I were in the market for a car… I suppose I’ll make do with cup noodles and beer!
The last word, though goes to the robot… he’s not quite Asimo , but he plays a mean tune…
Alternatives to the Toyota Factory Tour
As the Toyota Factory Tour is currently CLOSED, then we recommend the following alternatives
The Mazda Factory Tour
Another free car factory tour, this is easy to get to and also close to Nagoya. You can read more about it here .
The Toyota Techno Museum
This is also known as the Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, or the Toyota Museum Nagoya. It is located in central Nagoya. There is no factory here but you’ll find a lot of exhibits on the car production process.
The Toyota Techno Museum is easily reached from Sako station and is close to Nagoya station. The museum is open from 09:30 to 17:00, the last entry is 16:30 and admission is 500 yen. The museum is closed on Mondays and also on Tuesdays if Monday is a national holiday.
The Toyota Automobile Museum
This museum displays cars from the late 1800s onwards from Europe, Japan, and America. You will find it close to Geidaidori Station. The museum is open from 09:30 to 17:00, with the last entry at 16:30. The museum is closed on Mondays, and also Tuesdays if the Monday is a National Holiday. Entrance is 1000 yen.
Other Free Factory Tours in Japan
The Toyota Factory tour is just one of those available when you visit Japan. Here are other factory tours that we recommend for your visit to Japan.
The Mazda factory tour: Another great free car factory tour – perhaps even better than the Toyota Factory Tour.
The Asahi Brewery tour : Available at 8 locations throughout Japan this tour not only provides an understanding of Asahi’s history but also gives you free beer tasting at the end – and they’re not small measures!
The Cup Noodle factory – There are several places where you can visit a cup noodle museum in Japan, but for us visiting the birthplace of noodles in Ikeda was on the list. Make your own cup noodles here.
If you’re looking for unique experiences in Japan, then I highly recommend heading to watch Sumo practice in Tokyo and experiencing a Maid Cafe in Akihabara too.

I like to see live your factory and museum
My son dreams to see the Toyota Factory. He is about 7 years old now and he wishes to work and serve your factory one day. He is a very intelligent kid who is very thoughtful. I wish if I can help him to achieve his dreams.

Toyota Virtual Plant Tours Open Window to the Wonders of the Line
A towering robot, standing 20 feet tall, gently scoops up a truck cab high above the factory floor. In one fluid motion, the monster robot pivots and lowers the unpainted cab, weighing 1500 pounds, onto the moving line where team members wait to inspect it. Nothing stops, not even for a moment, as the choreographed precision of assembling a new Toyota Tundra contributes to the arrival of a finished vehicle off the line every minute.
The world of manufacturing new Toyota cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans is actually many worlds that all work together. Metal stamping, the paint shop, plastics shop, “dropping” or “lifting” the engine into the frame, installing seats and dashboards are just a few of them. Now, the processes and people of those worlds are available as virtual experiences through the new Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) Education Hub, launched in time for this year’s Manufacturing Month. Through the legendary Toyota Production System (TPS), the question, “How are cars made?” is answered.
In total, Toyota’s 14 North American manufacturing facilities assemble nearly 70% of the vehicles Toyota sells in the U.S. The immersive online experience provides visitors with a fun and educational way to learn more about a few of the plants, as well as the science and core philosophies that go into each and every Toyota vehicle.
Go behind the scenes to see the transformation of metal into road-ready machines; all that’s needed is a computer and curiosity. Count the layers of paint needed to coat one vehicle. Go inside the body weld shop as robots attach each part of the vehicle to create a shell body. Meet the “co-bots” that work alongside the human teammates—also known as industrial athletes–to make their jobs easier.
A Riveting Curriculum
Virtual Plant Tours are for everyone, student and automotive enthusiast alike. For visitors who have not yet chosen a career path, Toyota’s commitment to engaging and inspiring the public to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), through advanced manufacturing is rooted in its mission to contribute to its local communities.
The tours aren’t purely mechanical, though. Putting a human face on the work of each plant is also part of the experience.
In Princeton, Indiana , Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana President Leah Curry takes visitors on a virtual walk as she shows off the Toyota plant based in her hometown. The Toyota Indiana Experience Center features virtual reality opportunities so spectators can take an immersive look at the facility’s paint booth and stamp shop in VR.
To assemble Tundras and Tacomas, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas uses state-of-the-art technologies like Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), which deliver parts across the assembly floor. But the human eye and touch are critical to the production of quality vehicles. Technology assists, but there is no substitute for the trained, passionate members of the Toyota teams who assure that each car, truck, SUV or van that rolls off the line meets exacting standards.
And while the inner working of the plants are technological wonders, Toyota is much more than the vehicles it produces. Visitors can also tour the Toyota Experience Center at the automaker’s headquarters in Plano, Texas, which features nine different galleries that share the history and innovations of Toyota through the years. Check out the Motorsports Gallery, which shares Toyota’s racing history, and learn about the most current Toyota and Lexus models in the Here and Now Gallery.
Stepping up for STEM
In addition to the plant tours, the Education Hub includes a series of free STEM-based lessons and a curriculum through Toyota USA Foundation partners. Virtual field trips , like “Toyota Under the Hood: The Science Behind Safe Driving,” provide an inside look at the innovation and teamwork that go into designing each Toyota or Lexus vehicle.
By promoting careers in STEM, Toyota hopes Education Hub programming will encourage and empower students to seek opportunities, including those who are underrepresented in tech, such as women and people of color, or those who live in communities where opportunities may be limited.
Education, exposure to career paths in manufacturing and Toyota’s longstanding commitment to workforce development in the U.S. are foundational to the company’s goal of mobility for all. After all, when you’re free to move, anything is possible. And that’s an idea even Godzilla can get behind.
Select a location below for an inside look at some of Toyota’s state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing plants:
Princeton, Indiana Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) Production: Highlander , Sequoia and Sienna
Ever stamp a picture of a car on a piece of paper? Now imagine stamping out a real-life car frame from sheets of metal — piece by piece. To produce over 6 million vehicles (and counting!), Toyota Indiana uses advanced technologies like Toyota’s New Global Architecture and robots to create smarter manufacturing, to help ensure quality and reduce fatigue. The Indiana facility also utilizes wearable technology (no, not a smart watch) to help employees move around safely and efficiently. For example, an exoskeleton — which looks like a harness — provides support and gives employees a boost to help them work on something that’s too high up.
Huntsville, Alabama Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama (TMMAL) Production: Engines
As Toyota’s largest engine producer in North America, Toyota Alabama produces over 3,000 engines every single day — that’s more than 7 million engines since the plant opened in 2001. If each engine ever built in the plant powered a vehicle 200,000 miles, they would go from the earth to the sun and back over 7,500 times. The campus has expanded four times, growing to over 1,400 employees inside a 1,200,000-square-foot facility.
San Antonio, Texas Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas (TMMTX) Production: Tacoma and Tundra
Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas uses advanced manufacturing technologies to roll a new truck off the assembly line every 60 seconds! In one day, that’s approximately 1,000 trucks. As the fastest line of any North American vehicle plant, more than 3,000 employees, and an additional 4,000 employees at on-site suppliers, work together with their robot coworkers to assemble safe, quality trucks for Toyota customers. The weld shop is home to over 400 robots alone!
Jackson, Tennessee Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Tennessee (TMMTN) Production: Cylinder blocks and transmission components
Get a glimpse of the 200 acres of Toyota Tennessee, where the skilled team produces up to 1.7 million engine blocks every year. A top 10 company for diversity, the advanced manufacturing team in Tennessee embodies the Toyota pillar of continuous improvement.
Georgetown, Kentucky Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky (TMMK) Production: Avalon , Camry , RAV4 Hybrid , ES 350 , engines and components
Virtual visitors to the plant in Georgetown, Kentucky won’t get exhausted traveling the length of 156 football fields to get an overview of the almost 9 million-square-foot facility. While touring the largest Toyota manufacturing plant in the world, viewers will see the die manufacturing shop, which builds dies, or “cookie cutters” (sorry, you can’t cook with them) for parts like doors and fenders, for Toyota plants across the country.
Buffalo, West Virginia Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia (TMMWV) Production: Engines and automatic transmissions
As the only North American plant to build engines, transmissions and hybrid transaxles under the same roof, Toyota West Virginia is one of the largest companies in the state. The nearly 2,000 employees complete more than a million engines and transmissions each year, rolling a new transmission off the assembly line about every 25 seconds — some of the fastest production times for Toyota globally.
Blue Springs, Mississippi Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi (TMMMS) Production: Corolla
Home of the Corolla, the Toyota facility in Blue Springs, Mississippi, has assembled nearly 2 million vehicles with the help of the Toyota Production System (TPS). It takes employees approximately 20 hours to build each Corolla. That’s about as long as it takes to drive from Blue Springs to Boston. Luckily, employees at the Mississippi plant have a little help from “Godzilla.” As strong as its namesake, the original king of the monsters, this large material-handling robot looks like a big metal arm and can work with loads up to one ton!
Troy, Missouri Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Missouri (TMMMO) Production: Cylinder heads
Toyota Missouri builds aluminum cylinder heads, the “lungs” of an engine, for every car, truck and SUV that Toyota assembles in North America. On the Missouri tour, go deep into the plant’s casting facility and get a closer look at the steel molds and sand cores that help form the cylinder heads.

15 people injured in Universal Studios Hollywood tour tram crash
At least one person reportedly sustained critical injuries.
Lester Fabian Brathwaite is a staff writer at Entertainment Weekly , where he covers breaking news, all things Real Housewives , and a rich cornucopia of popular culture. Formerly a senior editor at Out magazine, his work has appeared on NewNowNext , Queerty , Rolling Stone , and The New Yorker . He was also the first author signed to Phoebe Robinson's Tiny Reparations imprint. He met Oprah once.
15 people were injured in a tram crash at Universal Studios Hollywood Saturday evening.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the victims were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. KTLA, however, reported at least one person sustained critical injuries.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, "deputies responded to the lower parking lot of Universal Studios Hollywood regarding a tour tram collision. The collision caused several passengers to fall out of the vehicle."
The trams are used in the theme park's signature Studio Tour, transporting guests through iconic Hollywood film sets. It's unclear what caused the crash, or if any other vehicles were involved but LASD tells Entertainment Weekly that the "cause of the accident is still under investigation and there is no further information at this time."
The LACFD Public Information Office confirmed the incident in a tweet , writing "at 9:05 units were dispatched to a tram accident where 15 patients were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. CHP will be the lead investigatory agency for all further inquiries."
“Saturday night on the Studio Tour, a tram collided with a guard rail while making a left turn," a spokesperson for Universal Studios said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly . "Our thoughts continue to be with the guests who were involved, and we are thankful that based on agency reports, the injuries sustained were minor."
The statement continued, "We are working closely with public agencies, including the California Highway Patrol, as we continue our review of the incident and safety remains a top priority. We have resumed Studio Tour operations with a modified route and are reinforcing our operational and safety protocols."
Earlier this month, Universal Studios Hollywood was hit with a lawsuit stemming from a 2022 incident in which passengers claim they were stranded while riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, an attraction that takes guests through notable locations in J.K. Rowling 's Wizarding World, including the Great Hall, the grounds of Hogwarts, and the Quidditch pitch.

Toyota bZ4X
You can lease a toyota bz4x for next to nothing right now.
Toyota is now leasing its one all-electric car, the bZ4X, for just $129/mo and $2k down.
Toyota has been dipping its toe into the EV water, mostly focusing on hybrids rather than electric cars.
Its first EV, the bZ4X, hasn’t been a huge success, perhaps due to focus on hybrids. It also faced a rocky launch with an early recall, though that has all been sorted out by now.
So in a market with lots of great EVs, the bZ4X hasn’t attracted a whole lot of attention.
Last quarter, Toyota only sold 1,897 copies of the bZ4X in the US, a 9% increase over the previous year but only accounting for .4% of Toyota’s total US sales, and much less than the number of EV sales from much smaller companies.
As a result, Toyota has resorted to deep discounts on its electric crossover, making it one of the cheapest cars you can lease right now.
The steepest deal is on last year’s 2023 bZ4X base “XLE” trim, which is available for just $129/mo with $1,999 due at signing, at least here in Southern California. We also saw a deal for $119/mo and $4k down in New York. This is by far the lowest monthly price we’ve seen for the bZ4X yet, and one of the lowest we’ve seen for any EV – not just now, but ever.
The lease deal in question has a limit of 12,000 miles per year, close to the average mileage for a US driver, and a little more than the ~10,000 mile limits that are common on a lot of leases. This specific offer expires April 30th, though something similar could be extended after the month ends.
The 2024 model is just $169/mo (and $2k down), still a low price though not as eye-wateringly low as the 2023 model. Toyota made relatively minor changes for the 2024 model, including a mobile L1/L2 charging cord and standard power liftgate and 8-way power driver’s seat, along with some software changes.
Both of these are extremely low lease prices for a car with suggested retail price of $44,845 (2024 model). For example, a RAV4 LE is $369/mo with $3k down , much more than the bZ4X lease price despite that car being ~$15k cheaper than the bZ4X.
Part of the reason for these lease offers is due to the Inflation Reduction Act’s EV tax credit, which is also available (and in fact, even easier to get ) on a lease. In this case, the automaker files for the credit and offers lower lease payments to the customer.
But that doesn’t cover all of the discount – the lease deal accounts for a whopping $16,250 in cash from Toyota ($17,750 on the 2023 model).
If you find this deal appealing, you can use our affiliate link to contact local dealers and see if they have this lease deal near you.
Electrek’s Take
This is certainly getting down into the “insane deal” category, even with my general distaste for how Toyota has managed the EV transition.
It reminds me somewhat of the deals on the original Fiat 500e back in 2015 or so. At the time, Fiat’s CEO, Sergio Marchionne was one of the loudest voices against electrification . He famously admitted admitted that the 500e was a compliance car (by claiming that Fiat loses money on every sale – thus suggesting that Fiat only sold them because California said so), but Fiat also leased the 500e for just $69/mo at the time.
A lot of Californians, even those who already had nice cars, decided that having a cheap runaround with extremely low fueling costs would be worthwhile, and snatched one up. Given that $69/mo is less than half of what the average Californian driver would spend on gas per month, these cars were basically free.
Top comment by Grant
Whether you pick the bz4x or one of the other cheap lease offers out there is immaterial to me. The point is that these deals are out there and make a ton of sense to someone who needs transportation they can afford. I would snatch one of these up for me or a teenager for a short-term solution.
Now we have a similar situation with Toyota, a company that is quite openly anti-EV , but which is offering one of the cheapest EV deals we’ve seen.
I can’t say I love the bZ4X – it’s pretty middling in terms of specs, and while I’ve only driven it for a short time, it didn’t really do much to thrill me right out of the gates. I liked its cousin the Lexus RZ better, but still, neither would go anywhere near my list of top EVs.
But if your goal is to get a car with Toyota quality, aren’t particularly planning on road-tripping (one thing the bZ4X does poorly at is quick-charging performance, especially on roadtrips), and are a fan of getting good deals, well, the bZ4X might be for you right now.
If you’d like, you can use our affiliate link to contact your local dealers about the 2023 or 2024 Toyota bZ4X , and see what kind of lease deals are available in your area. Deal is subject to availability and participation, so contact your local dealer if you’re interested in a cheap bZ4X.
