Discussion in ' Long Travel Suspension ' started by Brian422 , Sep 7, 2022 .
Hello TW, i wanted to start a thread sharing my initial impressions of the Depo racing +2 LT kit. There is not any reviews currently on this kit but there are ppl running it and the ppl i asked about it to before i bought it had nothing but good things to say. I searched these forums after users made claims it was junk or would break after the first rock it hit or wouldn't hold up. These where ppl that had never run or seen the kit in person. I could not find a single occurrence where a kit similar to this one (allpro) broke. I will say this kit is not for the folks who wanna go fast. There are no bypass mounts and its only +2 in length. I would target this kit more to those that want to run tighter trails and crawl. Which is one reason i bought it. It appeared to be a good budget option and for less than half the price of the allpro kit it was worth a shot since most all other kits are priced fairly close to the allpro one. I purchased this kit from another user on this forum who had made some improvement that myself was going to make if i purchased the kit directly from depo. This was due to the fact i was going to use it a little harder and didnt know the quality of the uni balls in it. Others had told me they had been running the ones that came in the Kit and they were fine. This way i will be able to change uniballs regularly through DK. Not sure if Depo has replacements or not but im sure they would. The LCA cup was gusseted The upper UCA was gusseted The bushings where changed to DK and Uni balls to FK 1inch from Dk required boring out the uniball cup .005 Heres everything layed out when it showed up. Upon first inspection everything seemed well made and solid. Arms where heavy and welds look good but not the prettiest Ive ever seen. I used the DK spec fox coil overs and Currie (allpro) long travel axle shafts. Also the crown extended brake lines from DK. Heres everything installed. The initial run was good got me the extra flex i was looking for but found i needed to trim down my bumps a little more. This past Labor day weekend i was able to really test the suspension how i wanted to. I Ran a pretty tuff trail in very sloppy conditions harder than i normally do to really test the toughness this kit claims. The whole trail was rough but here are a few extremely hard hit that i got on the control arms. Broke my RCI skid and bent my MC frame brace https://youtu.be/Q3z-Au_402w https://youtu.be/imYvfOdT3zg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T06zKg2BTg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj7vfsbrIjY The lca had 0 dents and just had some of powder coat missing. I can say these arms are def chromoly like they claim and can take a hit as they took many all day long. My takeaways from this ride are that: 1. This kit works as advertised 2. The structural integrity did not fail after many large hits and skids on the arms. 3. Kit increased wheel travel by 3.5 inches on my personal setup. I will continue to update this thread as i use the kit to test the longevity of the kit. Again i understand this kit might not be for everyone but i do think its a good budget option that works as advertised after the first couple of outings. Seems to be a good budget option for ppl wanting to get into LT without spending a ton of $$$ after i sold my mid travel suspension i was only in this complete LT setup for 2k. Thanks, Brian
Good shot of the ground clearance of the kit. I measured just over 11.5 inches from lowest part on LCA. Im on 315 75 16.
The upside of stealing someone else's design is you benefit from their R&D, so there's a good chance the geometry of this kit will work if they coped All Pro properly. Stay away from the high speed stuff and at worst you'll likely have a break down on the trail. Not sure I'd move my family around on the highway in this though.

I'm not slagging the product and I appreciate your efforts to share, I think it's an ok product given it's used appropriately. I disagree with your feeling it and seeing it approach to determining quality though. You can't see and feel quality metal, but more importantly, a welds quality isn't solely told by it's appearance, especially once coated. Take for example all those cool colors you see when folks tig without backup gas, those would fail inspection in my line of work for contamination purposes.

Just got back from a 500 mile road trip. Kit road great on road and on the forest back roads road better than I thought would going about 20-35mph down washboard roads. Met a guy this weekend who adapted the kit to his 4Runner and said he absolutely pushed this kit on depo Uni and he’s jumped it and so far so good.
Makes me want to sell of my suspensions I've got gathered up and starting piecing together front LT

Here’s 4Runner insta lol. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Chfys6DJsm8/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
Update: Another trip in the books. Went to windrock park in TN. Did some pretty moderate wheeling (need driveshaft fixed and don't have spare +2 cv for anything crazy yet) Overall i was extremely happy with the way the truck road off road this weekend. Had a good bit of LCA hits that just chipped paint. So far so good. I will say my PC on one UCA arm is chipping already but not a big deal to me. Ill just paint over it. I put about another 700 miles on the kit and its going strong. So far ive put about 1500 miles on kit and its holding up just fine. About 100-150 being off road use. Here a pic and some vid of it in use. Unlike most ppl on TW i wont say something without context or proof to show for it. https://youtu.be/DPtTkJ-Zr6w https://youtu.be/9ql-IM7mNq8 https://youtu.be/89aCPnNhBoM
Just updating this thread. Put about 4k ish miles on the kit now and still running great. Only annoying thing is the squeaky bushings but that's to be expected with any kit that uses poly urethane bushings. Still extemely impress with this kit for the money and is a great economical option for overland/ camping vehicle or moderate trail riding.
Just returned from another 1k mile trip on the Depo kit. Still functioning perfectly. Been on for about 5k miles of use now and i can say its performed just like they claim it does. Ive been happy with this budget kit. Again i live in the southeast where this thing sees mud and dirt and stays in 4lo so i don't know about high speed off road abuse. I can say Ive seen this kit jumped before on a 4runner multiple times and its held up on that guys rig. All in All complete kit with Shocks and axles cost me after selling my mid travel stuff around 2k which any other kit on the market going to be at least double that price. I know i know cry once buy once but ive seen nothing so far to make me regret my purchase for my intended use. Hope this helps someone.
you have convinced me these arms are good for the money. being in canada ive done out the cost after shipping and import fees these arms are almost a 1/4 the cost of other kits. i am happy to add my own gussets and change out uniballs at this price.

awesome reviews with videos. what size tire are you running. looking at 37s and like all kits, it says needs over fenders, but i have trouble believing you need over fenders.

Welcome to Dirt King!
The Dirt King long travel kit was developed to drastically improve the vehicles off-road handling without compromising its day to day driving characteristics. This suspension system allows for 13.5” of travel and accepts up to a 35” tire. The kit is compatible with 2WD models and 4WD models along with the purchase of extended axle shafts. Our upper and lower arms are designed with 1” stainless steel uniballs for the outer pivots instead of ball joints for strength and increased articulation. Compared to the competition we’ve gained several inches of ground clearance by mounting the lower arms in the factory location instead of below it. This kit is CAD designed, thoroughly tested, and 100% made in America resulting in a product we’re proud to put our name on!
4WD To achieve the full amount of travel on 4WD models you must install the 1” diff drop kit and machine the inner CV’s for more articulation. We offer several services for machining CV’s and complete axle assembly.
Shocks For the best performance and to achieve the full amount of travel you must purchase our spec built shocks or have them custom built based on our coil over spec sheet. You may also use Tacoma OEM replacement coil overs (King, Fox, Icon) with 600lb springs and 1.5” wide lower eyelet spacers with ½” mounting holes. These shocks will work but limit the amount of wheel travel. The OEM replacement coil overs include reservoir mounts that may not be compatible with our double shear kit option. Our long travel kit is also tabbed to accommodate bypass shocks. The bypass shocks will allow for superior suspension dampening and tunability. To mount the bypasses we offer a weld on bypass shock hoop kit (DK-811910) that can be purchased separately. The bypass shock hoop kit requires welding and modifications to the frame. For extreme off-roading the kit has the ability to accept bump stops along with the coil overs and bypasses. The use of bump stops will alsorequire welding and modifications to the frame.
Wheel Travel When shopping long travel kits many consumers tend to focus just on travel numbers. This is the reason many companies claim inaccurate numbers or don’t disclose the amount of work involved to achieve these numbers. Our goal is to build a suspension system with the highest amount of wheel travel without requiring major modifications to the vehicle or compromising its overall drivability.
Tire Info When using 35” tires with this kit modifications to the wheel well will need to be made. The firewall pinch weld will need to be folded over and front cab mount needs to be shaved to avoid contact while turning. The upper wheel well will also need to be modified to avoid contact at full bump.

Following the success of All-Pro’s original Tacoma Long Travel Kit All-Pro Off-Road is proud to reveal All-Pro’s High Clearance Long Travel Suspension kit for the 3rd Generation Tacoma!
Engineered to get 12” of wheel travel while extending the track width by 2” per side, this new Long Travel Kit has been completely redesigned to give you an additional 2 inches of ground clearance. All-Pro’s long travel kit features 4130 Chromoly tubular upper and lower control arms. The Lower Control Arms (LCAs) are boxed for maximum strength and plated for extreme durability. An integrated skid plate gives All-Pro Control Arms unbeatable skid protection on the trail. All-Pro’s LCAs also feature a 1” uniball that replaces the weak factory lower ball joint.
The 2” wider Upper Control Arms (UCAs) feature an industry leading 1.25” uniball for maximum articulation and vertical travel. The uniball is adapted to fit to the factory spindle using heat-treated 17-4 Stainless Steel misalignment spacers. All four control arms, upper and lower, pivot on polyurethane bushings and have built in zerk fittings for easy maintenance.
From rocks to sand and everything in between, this long travel kit goes anywhere without sacrificing comfort, quality, and performance. All-Pro’s lift kits are born and developed on some of the hardest trails around, including the Hammers, Rubicon, and Moab, the All-Pro LT kit is built tough!
All-Pro’s extended heat-treated 4340 chromoly axle shafts, made by Currie Enterprises, are required for 4×4 applications. They are inserted into the factory inner and outer CVs to retain 4WD. These are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately. Please contact All-Pro’s sales staff if you have questions before ordering.
All-Pro has teamed up with Timbren SES to offer an upgraded bumpstop for use with All-Pro’s LT kit, or even stock. They are made of a softer compound than their usual options which are specifically designed for increased weight carrying capacity. Timbren Bumpstops provide a smoother stop than the factory bumpstop without needlessly limiting travel. Recommended for 33”+ tires. These are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
Long Travel Shocks are required for All-Pro’s Long Travel Kit. For best results, we recommend Fox 2.5 Factory Series Remote Reservoir Long Travel Coilover Shocks or the Fox 2.5 Factory Series Remote Reservoir Long Travel Coilover Shocks with DSC Adjustment.

Dobinsons ims tacoma lift kit long-term review.
A suspension lift is one of those mods that genuinely makes a difference in performance, whether you’re on the road or off the beaten path.
When searching for suspension, there were three criteria that I was looking for – performance, value, and support . After evaluating many different setups and companies, I ultimately landed on the Dobinsons IMS Lift Kit for my rig.
They weren’t initially on my list to evaluate, but after countless hours of “intense scientific research”, I decided to put it on my shortlist. While researching them, they seemed to have many positive reviews with fewer people split between love and hate compared to others.
Dobinsons claims that the IMS (Internal Monotube Shock) system has virtually zero shock fade in all terrains even under full load. Another unique feature at this price point is that they are fully rebuildable and can be revalved.
Now that I’ve been running this setup for about two years and more than 25,000 miles through all kinds of terrain, I’m here to provide my long-term review.
Note: This will fit the 2nd Gen Tacoma as well, but my experiences are solely with the 3rd Gen, double cab, short bed Tacoma.
Find It Online
When I learned about the Dobinsons IMS, I was instantly attracted to and overwhelmed by the options on their site at the same time. Below are the options you can select when building one.

My setup has not changed since I initially purchased and installed it. Here’s how it is configured:
With a lift like mine, you should also purchase aftermarket upper control arms for proper alignment. I chose to go with SPC UCAs . The shop that did the installation also recommended aftermarket bump stops, so I went ahead and got DuroBumps front and rear. These help protect your fenders from larger wheels and increased articulation.
Before I go into my initial impressions, I want to preface and say that I also upgraded my wheels and tires when I had my lift installed. I went up a size to 285/75R16, which is just shy of a 33″ tire.
As I pulled up to the shop, I was thrilled with how my truck looked. It was the perfect amount of lift and look that I was going for. However, as I got in and drove away, my first thought was how super stiff and bouncy the ride felt. This persisted for a couple of weeks (I work from home, so I don’t drive a lot).
After the first few weeks, though, the suspension settled and I was happy with where it ended up in terms of stiffness and ride quality.
Since this is my daily driver and family hauler, it’s seen a good amount of on-road miles. The suspension is noticeably stiffer than stock but not to the point where it is jarring or unbearable. I’ve ridden in other lifted Tacoma’s where the ride was softer, but felt they had too much body roll and were “squishy” (for lack of better terms).
My setup has noticeably reduced body roll and that dreaded braking nose dive. I could not be happier with the on-road performance that this kit has provided.
Taking my rig off-road across different terrains and difficulties helped me appreciate this kit’s quality, dependability, and performance.
They do an excellent job of soaking up big bumps and dips, especially in slower and more technical sections. Over washboard and rocky roads, I feel that I have to either air down extra or go slower because the suspension sometimes feels jarring or too stiff. That said, it feels controlled and is not unbearable or a deal breaker.
We’ll start by discussing one of the downsides I discovered after purchasing and using this kit. For me, a big selling point was that it was fully rebuildable and can be revalved. Admittedly, I was also naïve to think that anyone who could do rebuilds for other shocks could service these as well. I was wrong.
One shop in my area is willing to service it, but outside of that, it would be a 2.5-hour drive to the next one. Since this rig is my daily driver, I don’t have the luxury of being able to send the shocks out to Dobinsons either.
So, my recommendation is to first reach out to shops in your area to see if they can service Dobinsins’ kits or be ready to send them out and have downtime with your truck.
As a company, I cannot say enough nice things about Dobinsons’ overall support. From purchasing questions to after-installation support, the team has been amazing to communicate with. They’re incredibly knowledgeable and have made my experience of owning this product a positive one.
Whether the communication has been over the phone or email, I always get to someone who knows what they are talking about. Plus, I get the sense that they genuinely care about the customer experience.
After having it for almost 2 years and 25,000 miles, I can say that I’m still very happy with it. The only downside for me was that my local 4×4 shop, where I typically get all my work done, does not service Dobinsons. However, that’s not a knock on the suspension.
Everything has held up well and has performed to my expectations. I genuinely feel like this kit has the best value, performance, and support; all of which were what I was looking for when lifting my rig.
If you’re looking for a great value suspension, I highly recommend this one. You can choose to get just a few pieces such as coils or shocks, or the entire kit. Not only does it perform well on-road, but it performs exceptionally well off-road. For most, it will be more than enough. Lastly, the customer support that I have received has been top-notch.
I hope this helps you in your journey to finding a suspension kit that meets your needs.

Out of curiosity, why did you go with the medium duty rear leafs? Your truck appears mostly stock and may have been less jarring with the light duty leafs? I opted for the 352 springs (medium load) in the front and light duty leafs in the rear – but I also have a roof rack, sliding tonneau, bed rack, sliders, and front skid (so, roughly 300 lbs of added weight). I’ve only got about 5k miles on the suspension but it is in no way harsh or overly firm. Ride quality is exceptional (even with E-rated 33” tires). It’s more … Read more »
I actually just realized that the leaf springs are a typo. I did go with the 110 leafs in the rear.
Happy to hear you’re enjoying your Dobinsons as much as I did. I truly do feel that the Dobinsons were a great choice!
I will say, the addition of sliders to my setup (about 140 lbs total) definitely made the suspension feel softer, overall, putting them in more of a sweet spot on-road – so the additional weight of my truck may be the biggest difference in overall ride quality from what you experienced.

Without a doubt, staggered wheels look sick, but looks aren’t everything —
Ride height is a bit of an iceberg concept
Choosing the right wheel offset usually ends up being an afterthought when
Tired of bashing your rock sliders while your long-travel buddies waft over washboard tracks and tackle deep moguls without a care in the world? Then it may be time to install an LT kit on your Tacoma.
Long travel kits aren’t for everyone. They’re certainly not ideal if you don’t go wheeling often and don’t enjoy getting a bit ton of grease under your fingernails—unless you’re made of money and don’t mind spending thousands on labor.
Owning a long-travel Tacoma means wrenching on your rig frequently, obsessively checking torque specs, being ok with squeaks and rattles seeping into the cabin, and being ready to break stuff.
They provide ample bump and droop travel, making them suitable for fast trails, rock gardens, and everything in between. In this article, we touch on the benefits of long travel kits and highlight some of our top recommendations.
Mid-travel is what comes after installing a lift kit on your Tacoma. It’s a catch-all term for when you install all the aftermarket parts needed to increase your ground clearance and suspension travel by 1″ to 2″.
This may include extended-height coilovers with longer and wider threaded bodies as well as adjustable control arms to offset any unwanted changes in alignment.
Now picture that, but a few notches above. That’s long travel.
It involves increasing not just the height of your suspension but also the width and strength—often beyond the limits of your factory suspension geometry. Unlike mid-travel kits, long-travel kits will increase your suspension travel by 3″ to 5″.
To put things into perspective, here’s what your typical LT kit consists of only at the front end:
Here’s what it includes at the rear end:
It’s worth noting that you’ll also require spindle gussets and a cab-mount chop.
Long travel suspension gives your wheels a much wider range of articulation, which ensures optimal traction on all kinds of off-road terrain.
In the case of the Tacoma, long travel kits are used for a variety of different builds, but they’re especially popular among prerunners, trophy trucks, and rock crawlers. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite long travel kits for Toyota Tacomas.
The 1st generation Toyota Tacoma arrived in 1996, and unlike the preceding Pickup, or Hilux as the rest of the world knew it, the Tacoma was developed for the North American market first and foremost.
As standard, the 1st generation Tacoma comes with independent front suspension with a front stabilizer bar, and a solid rear axle. A pretty good setup overall, but if you want to take things to the next level, you need a long travel kit.
Wheel travel: 14″ (2WD) / 12.5″ (4WD) Track width: 3.5″ Tire size: 35″
We start with a decent option that is not as expensive as you might think. Solo Motorsports specializes in long travel kits, as well as other important suspension components to turn your Tacoma into an off-roading beast.
The long travel kit promises 14″ of increased wheel travel on 2WD Tacomas and 12.5″ on 4WD models. It also increases the track width by 3.5″ on each side.
Out of the box, the kit comes with basically everything you need, including extended brake lines, 1″ uniballs, and ¾ ” heim pivots. It does require fiberglass fenders, however, and the upgraded coilover suspension is not included, but Solo does sell that product as well.
Wheel travel: 13″ Track width: 3.5″ Tire size: 33″
Camburg Engineering is one of the most well-known companies for off-road components, especially for the Tacoma. Their long travel kit for the 1st-gen Tacoma is a little expensive, so you might think that it offers a whole lot of benefits compared to the one by Solo Motorsports. Not quite, it turns out.
The LT kit from Camburg claims 13″ of extra wheel travel, and 3.5″ of added track width on either side and can only fit 33″ tires. On the other hand, Camburg offers two proven options for shocks: Fox and King.
Considering Ford Raptors come with these from the factory, that’s not too bad.
Both upper and lower arms use 1″ uniballs, the kit includes extensions for the steering system, and it too requires fiberglass fenders. This kit also comes with some racing pedigree, as it’s been used on Baja rigs with great results.
Wheel travel: 16″ Track width: 5″ Tire size: Up to 35″
When you look at the specs of the JD Fabrication kit, it’s a complete no-brainer. Right out of the gate, JD’s 1st-gen Tacoma LT kit comes with 16″ of wheel travel, an increased track width of 5″, and it can fit tires up to 35″. All of that for a surprisingly low price.
Like the others, this also includes boxed lower control arms, and both lower and upper control arms include 1″ uniballs. It also comes with steering extensions, but JD recommends fiberglass fenders and shock mounts.
In 2005, Toyota released the 2nd-gen Tacoma, which introduced improvements across the board. It was larger, more capable, more powerful, and better equipped. Like the 1st-gen, the 2nd-gen is also very popular when it comes to off-road and prerunner builds.
Since the two have similar suspension setups, the long travel kits are very similar as well. However, the 2nd-gen Tacoma switched to six-lug wheels, so if you already have a spare long travel kit made for a 1st-gen lying around, it’s not compatible. Unless it’s for a 1st -gen Tacoma PreRunner.
Wheel travel: 15″ (2WD) / 14″ (4WD) Track width: 3.5″ Tire size: 33″ to 35″
Once again, the stalwart Camburg Engineering has the hookups when it comes to a solid, albeit quite pricey long travel kit for the 2nd-gen Tacoma.
Utilizing 1.25″ uniballs on both the upper and lower control arms, as well as a boxed LCA setup, the Camburg LT kit has some good hardware. Not to mention, extended brake lines and steering extensions.
If your 2nd-gen Tacoma is 2WD, you’re looking at a 15″ increase in wheel travel, and 14″ if you have 4WD. You can fit up to 35″ tires, and you can expect a 3.5″ increase in track width.
Again, while Camburg makes some quality hardware, this kit is plagued by the same problem that plagues their other kits as well: it’s very expensive, not even counting the expensive install labor.
Wheel travel: 13″ (2.5″ track width) or 14″ (4″ track width) Track width: 2.5″ or 4″ Tire size: 33″ to 37″
Here’s where things get a little interesting. JD Fabrication offers a long travel kit for the 2nd-gen Tacoma, as you might expect. However, they offer 2 versions of the same kit, with two different track width increments.
One kit adds 2.5″ to the front end, whereas the other one adds 4″. This also leads to a slight disparity between the two kits’ wheel travel gains. The 2.5″ track width version offers 13″ of wheel travel, whereas the 4″ track width version offers 14″.
Interestingly, both kits recommend the same tire sizes, and they’re both the same price. The 2.5″ track width version will generally fit most build requirements, whereas 4″ is for extreme terrain.
Both kits also come with everything you need, including the uniballs, and an adapter kit for 8″ King coilover shocks, which is great. It’s pretty good value for money, all things considered.
Wheel travel: 12″ Track width: 2″ Tire size: 35″ (37″ with fiberglass fenders)
While All Pro Offroad doesn’t enjoy the same sort of popularity in the Taco community as the above-mentioned, they still make some pretty quality parts, and that also applies to their long travel suspension kits.
This kit is pretty competitively priced, but it does come with a few tradeoffs. For starters, the max wheel travel you can expect is 12″, and the max track width increase you can expect from it is 2″.
While this is less than the other options, if you’re putting together a Tacoma PreRunner on a tighter budget, this kit is the right fit.
It also comes with the usual suspects, including 1.25″ uniballs and boxed lower control arms. However, the axle shafts, shocks, and bump stops are not included in this kit. All Pro does provide some recommendations, however.
The 3nd-gen Tacoma is the most modern, most recent, and most technology-packed of the 3 generations, and that means it’s also the most expensive to buy used. Unfortunately, the 4.0-liter V6 was retired for the Tacoma, but the 3.5-liter V6 that took its place was just as durable.
Toyota kept the tried and true chassis and suspension setup of the previous 2 generations intact, which means that some long travel suspension kits designed for the 2nd-gen Tacoma are also compatible with the 3rd-gen. Let’s have a look at the options.
Wheel travel: 15″ (2WD) or 14″ (4WD) Track width: 3.5″ Tire size: 33″ to 35″
Once again, Camburg Engineering makes an appearance here, and it’s business as usual. Their 3rd-gen Tacoma long travel kit offers up to 15″ of wheel travel for 2WD trucks, or 14″ on 4WD versions. They support up to 35″ tires, and they increase track width by 3.5″ on either side.
They come with everything you need in the box, including the 1.25″ uniballs, tubular upper control arms, steering extensions, and extended brake lines. Camburg also offers optional Fox coilover shocks as well as uprated bump stops.
Wheel travel: 11.5″ (for 2″ track width) or 12.5″ (for 3.5″ track width) Track width: 2″ to 3.5″ Tire size: 33″
Finally, we have a relative newcomer in this lineup. Total Chaos Fabrication is a reputable shop for long travel kits and all other necessary suspension components for a proper off-road build.
Similar to JD Fabrications, they offer two different versions of their long travel kit for the 3rd-gen Tacoma depending on the track width. You get the choice of either 2″ track width gains or 3.5″.
Wheel travel is right in between some of the other options on here, clocking in at 11.5″ for the smaller track width, and 12.5″ for the larger track width.
Total Chaos also offers additional choices relating to what kind of build you’re putting together, with both a Race series and an Expedition series.
Plenty of choice then, and you do get pretty much everything included. However, this kit is pretty expensive, and it can only fit 33″ tires currently.
As it turns out, building a long travel Tacoma is not as easy or as straightforward as you might expect. There are tons of options out there, and they vary depending on the generation of Tacoma that you have.

The long travel spring under kit was designed for maximum rear suspension performance without making the installation difficult for average person.
For best results this kit should be combined with the Dirt King bedcage and Deaver H70HD leaf under springs . The complete package paired with a custom drive shaft allows for 18" of usable travel.
Deaver H70HD Progressive Series springs are high-quality 10-leaf units fabricated with high grade 5160 “American Made” steel designed for the Tacoma 2WD / 4WD. A higher leaf count spring allows the use of thinner leaf material that yields a more flexible progressive leaf stack, or pyramid, producing a much smoother spring rate curve throughout the complete suspension cycle. The even, linear compression rate curve of our progressive system spring is the primary key to excellent ride quality.
Included: ✔ Long travel shackles ✔ Leaf under u-bolt plates ✔ Leaf under front hangers ✔ Rear shackle hangers ✔ 18" quad wrapped limit straps ✔ Weld on limit strap tabs ✔ Leaf spring perches ✔ DOT approved extended brake lines ✔ Grade 8 mounting hardware
Fitment: 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma 2WD / 4WD

There is nothing particularly Chinese about this charming building in the southern corner of the park at Oranienbaum. Built by Antonio Rinaldi between 1762 and 1768, it was the first major building project to be ordered by Catherine the Great, who planned for the building to serve as her private dacha. In fact the Empress spent only 48 days there during the 34 years of her reign. However, the building, which is currently undergoing full-scale renovation, is considered one of the finest examples of rococo in Russia, with has superbly ornate interiors featuring a range of late 18 th century styles, including Chinoiserie, a trend imported to St. Petersburg from England rather than from the East.
From the outside, the palace is a relatively simple building, single-storey except for the small central pavilion, painted in a mellow combination of ochre and yellow. The seventeen rooms inside, decorated by Rinaldi and other leading artists and craftsmen of the day, feature pink, blue and green scagliola, painted silks, and intricate stucco work. Rinaldi's parquet floors are wonderfully ornate, using several types of rare Russian and imported wood. Among the highlights of the Chinese Palace interiors are the Glass Beaded Salon, the walls of which are hung with 12 panels of richly coloured tapestries depicting exotic birds and fauna. The fine white glass beads that form the backdrop of the tapestries give the whole room a diaphanous, shimmering quality that was designed to be particularly effective in the glowing twighlight of the White Nights. The full influence of Chinoiserie is in evidence in the gaudy Large Chinese Salon, where the walls are covered with marquetry paneling of wood and walrus ivory depicting oriental landscapes, and large Chinese lanterns hanging in the corners. The room also contains an English-made billiard table with superb wood carving.
The interiors of the Chinese Palace are particularly prized because they have survived almost completely intact since Catherine's reign. Whereas most of the interiors of St. Petersburg's imperial palaces had to be completely reconstructed after the wanton destruction of the Nazi invaders, the decorations of the Chinese Palace were successfully evacuated, and re-installed in the early fifties. They are, however, in chronic need of restoration, and the process is finally underway in ernest, with several major Russian and international conservation agencies involved in the process. As yet, there is no date set for the completion of works.
