How To Watch Rocket Mortgage Classic live stream 2023

Rickie Fowler birdied six of his last eight holes on Saturday to rise to the top of the Rocket Mortgage Classic leaderboard at 20 under. He is aiming to win his first Tour event since the 2019 Phoenix Open, 96 starts ago. Fowler, 34, has lead, either alone or jointly, 10 times on Tour going into the final round, but has converted these into only two victories.

Adam Hadwin and Taylor Pendrith are in second and third, on 19- and 18-under. If either win they will become the fifth player from Canada to win this season on the PGA Tour.

Because of lighting, play was suspended for an hour and 42 minutes on Saturday and Sunday’s tee times have been moved forward in the hope of completing the final round before more forecasted bad weather arrives. Players will go out in threes and groups will be starting on both the 1st and 10th tees in an effort to get people round in time.

To make sure you miss none of the action, below are all the streaming and broadcast details on how to watch a Rocket Mortgage Classic live stream from wherever you are, as well as today's tee times.

The PGA Tour heads to Michigan for the fifth running of the the Rocket Mortgage Classic. No-one has won this event twice, something Tony Finau , Cam Davis and Nate Lashley were out to change this week.

Although several of the big names have stayed away from this year's Rocket Mortgage Classic, it still boasts eight of the top 30 in the world rankings in its field. Defending champion Tony Finau is joined by last week’s Travelers champion Keegan Bradley, as well as Max Homa , Justin Thomas , Collin Morikawa , Sungjae Im, Tom Kim and Hideki Matsuyama .

The Rocket Mortgage Classic, which replaced the Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour schedule four years ago, is held at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. The club has two 18-hole Donald Ross designs, the North and South. The tournament is played over a composite 18 holes with 17 from the North and one from the South.

Tony Finau shot 26 under last year to win by five strokes. In doing so, he broke Nate Lashley’s scoring record. Lashley had won the inaugural event by six shots, with a 25-under-par 263. In the intervening years the winner’s score had been 18- and 23-under.

So it is not rocket science, nor even Rocket Mortgage science, to calculate that this week’s winner needs to make plenty of birdies. With the greens fairly accessible, putting well may prove to be the key factor as to who scores low round this predominantly flat course – when Detroit Golf Club became a PGA Tour host in 2019, it replaced TPC Louisiana as the flattest course on tour. (Its elevation change from highest to lowest point is only 43ft.)

Make sure you know how to watch PGA Tour golf from anywhere including all the details on the Rocket Mortgage Classic live stream just below.

2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic tee times: Sunday's twosome pairings

Just two events remain in the PGA Tour’s regular season, the first coming this week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Many players in the field arrive at Detroit Golf Club looking to grab precious points to clinch their spot inside the top 125 and qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Others already inside the number are trying to climb into the top echelon of the rankings and get themselves into position to reach the Tour Championship.

Leading the charge is reigning FedEx Cup champ Patrick Cantlay, who arrives as the No. 4 in the world, the high ranked player competing this week. Joining him are a handful of other notables including defending champ Cam Davis, last week’s 3M Open winner Tony Finau, Max Homa, Kevin Kisner, Cam Young and Harris English.

Among this year’s sponsor exemptions is Geoff Ogilvy, the former U.S. Open champ who recently made his first tour start since 2018. Three young players—newly minted pros Cole Hammer and Chris Gotterup, and amateur Michael Thorbjornsen (who finished fourth at the Travelers in June)—also will be playing via sponsor’s exemptions.

The winner will receive 500 points and a $1.512 million share of the $8.4 million purse.

2024 RBC Heritage odds, field: Surprising PGA picks, predictions from model that's nailed 11 majors

Sportsline's proven model simulated the rbc heritage 2024 10,000 times and revealed its pga golf picks.

xander.jpg

Just days after winning a second green jacket, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will head to Harbour Town for the 2024 RBC Heritage. The first tee times come at 8:15 a.m. ET on Thursday. Scheffler has three wins and a runner-up in his last four starts, and he is the 18-5 favorite in the 2024 RBC Heritage odds. Xander Schauffele sits second on the PGA odds board at 10-1 after finishing eighth at Augusta National, while Rory McIlroy is 11-1. The 2024 RBC Heritage field is loaded with other talented golfers, including Ludvig Aberg (12-1) and Patrick Cantlay (16-1).

Aberg's stock continues to sore after finishing second at the Masters in his first major championship appearance. Should you back him at double-digit odds with your 2024 RBC Heritage bets? Before locking in your 2024 RBC Heritage picks, be sure to see the golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up almost $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model correctly predicted Scottie Scheffler would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2024 Masters, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and The Players Championship this season. McClure also included Hideki Matsuyama in his best bets to win the 2024 Genesis Invitational. That bet hit at +9000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,000.

The model also predicted Jon Rahm would be victorious at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. At the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, McClure's best bets included Nick Taylor (70-1) winning the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

This same model has also nailed a whopping 11 majors entering the weekend and hit the Masters three straight years. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now that the RBC Heritage 2024 field is finalized, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard .

Top 2024 RBC Heritage predictions

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2024 RBC Heritage: Schauffele, a seven-time winner on the PGA Tour and one of the top favorites, struggles this week and doesn't even crack the top five. Schauffele has been red-hot in recent weeks, finishing inside the top 10 in four of his last five starts on the PGA Tour. He's coming off an eighth-place finish at the Masters and secured a runner-up showing at The Players Championship in March.

However, Schauffele has struggled with his putting this season and hasn't won a PGA Tour event since 2022. The 30-year-old enters this week's event ranked 59th in putts per round (28.68), 79th in strokes gained: putting (0.117) and 80th in one-putt percentage (40.14%). Harbour Town places a premium on putting, which doesn't bode well for Schauffele's chances to finish on top of the leaderboard this week.

Another surprise: Tommy Fleetwood, a 20-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Fleetwood has made the cut in six of his first seven PGA Tour events this season, and he is coming off a T3 at the Masters last week.

The 33-year-old also carded top-10 finishes at the Genesis Invitational and Valero Texas Open after posting nine top-10s in 21 events last year. Fleetwood finished inside the top 15 at this event last year and inside the top 10 in 2022. He ranks second on the PGA Tour in driving accuracy, which puts him in contention on a weekly basis.  See who else to pick here .

How to make 2024 RBC Heritage picks

The model is also targeting three other golfers with odds of 20-1 or longer to make a strong run at the title. Anyone who backs these longshots could hit it big. You can only see the model's picks here .

Who will win the 2024 RBC Heritage, and which longshots will stun the golfing world? Check out the RBC Heritage 2024 odds below and then visit SportsLine to see the projected RBC Heritage leaderboard , all from the model that's nailed 11 golf majors, including the last three Masters.

2024 Zurich Classic odds, field: Surprising PGA picks, predictions from model that's nailed 11 majors

T he PGA Tour will take an annual detour from individual events when the 2024 Zurich Classic takes place beginning on Thursday, April 25. There will be 80 duos competing in best ball (Thursday/Saturday) and alternate shot (Friday/Sunday) formats. Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay are the 5-1 favorites according to the latest 2024 Zurich Classic odds. Some of the other teams in the Zurich Classic 2024 field include Will Zalatoris/Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa/Kurt Kitayama and defending champions Nick Hardy/Davis Riley. Before locking in your 2024 Zurich Classic picks, be sure t o see the golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up more than $9,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model correctly predicted Scottie Scheffler would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2024 Masters, the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Players Championship, and the RBC Heritage this season.

Now that the Zurich Classic 2024 field is finalized, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard .

Top 2024 Zurich Classic predictions

One major surprise the model is calling for at the Zurich Classic 2024: McIlroy and Lowry, who've combined for 26 wins on the PGA Tour, barely crack the top five. McIlroy is set to play in his fourth consecutive event when he tees off at TPC Louisiana. He's failed to crack the top-10 in seven of his eight starts on the PGA Tour this season, while Lowry has finished T-19 or worse in six of his past eight events.

Both players have struggled mightily on the green this season. McIlroy enters the 2024 Zurich Classic ranked 78th in strokes gained: putting (0.119) and 72nd in putting average (1.758), a big reason why he ranks 98th in scoring average (70.44). Lowry, meanwhile, ranks 99th in strokes gained: putting (-0.012) and 143rd in putts per round (29.38), which doesn't bode well for their chances to finish on top of the leaderboard this week.

Another surprise: Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith, 35-1 longshots, make a strong run at the title. They have a much better chance to win it all than their odds imply, so they're a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.

The Canadians seem like a perfect pair to make some noise at TPC Louisiana. Conners is one of the best ball strikers on the PGA Tour, entering this week's event ranked second in greens in regulation percentage (72.65%) and fourth in strokes gained: approach to green (0.872). Meanwhile, Pendrith is effective with a putter in his hands, ranking 22nd in strokes gained: putting (0.538). The familiarity they have with each other's games should be a huge boost at the PGA Tour's only team event.  See who else to pick here .

How to make 2024 Zurich Classic picks

The model is also targeting three other teams with odds of 35-1 or longer to make a strong run at the title. Anyone who backs these longshots could hit it big. You can only see the model's picks here .

Billy Horschel wins PGA Tour event amid historic finish, but there’s a catch

Billy Horschel won the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic, his first PGA Tour win since 2022.

Corales Puntacana Championship - Final Round

Eleven months ago, after the first round of the Memorial Tournament, Billy Horschel stood in front of the media and fought back tears as he talked about his lack of confidence.

He had just fired a 12-over 84, which served as a metaphor for his struggles throughout the 2023 season. Horschel missed 10 cuts a year ago, which led to him missing out on the FedEx Cup Playoffs .

As such, Horschel did not meet the qualification requirements to play in this week’s RBC Heritage —the fifth Signature Event of the 2024 season . But he still wanted to play, knowing that his game was trending in the right direction.

So, he teed it up at the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic, an opposite full-field event.

The decision paid off.

Corales Puntacana Championship

Horschel began the final round three strokes behind Wesley Bryan, but he stormed past him and all the others to win by two. The former Florida Gator signed for a 9-under 63, which tied the course record, to win for the first time on the PGA Tour since the 2022 Memorial.

“This game of golf is so fickle. I think you can put a lot into it and get everything you want out of it,” Horschel said after his win on Sunday.

“But I knew in my 14 years, 13 years previously on the PGA Tour, that I had the ability, I had the talent. I just needed to continue to work hard, do the right things, and continue to believe that good stuff was going to come to the forefront at some point in time.”

Even though his victory did not come against the likes of Scottie Scheffler , Wyndham Clark , Rory McIlroy, or any other elite PGA Tour players, Horschel still holds this win—and other opposite field events—in high regard.

“The PGA Tour has a lot of tournaments, and it’s tough for every tournament to get its due. Opposite-field events have been crucial for many players coming up the ranks,” Horschel explained.

“Look at Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland winning in Puerto Rico, Matt Wallace won this. So listen, it’s another opportunity to play, it’s another opportunity to become a better player, to get that win on the PGA Tour. These events are crucial to the PGA Tour in the sense of the growth of the development of the players on the PGA Tour.”

8-under thru 12 @BillyHo_Golf leads by two after an eagle @CoralesChamp . pic.twitter.com/qkAjIiaKmI — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) April 21, 2024

Horschel’s victory in the Dominican Republic vaults him from 76th to 45th in the FedEx Cup rankings. The top 70 players earn entry into the FedEx Cup Playoffs, so yes, this win carries significant weight.

But Horschel would not have been able to finish the job without his strong psyche and ability to handle pressure down the stretch.

“I don’t like talking about myself but growing up, I always wanted the ball when I was a pitcher; I always wanted to be the guy at battle trying to drive in the winning run; I always wanted to have it on me,” Horschel explained.

“I think growing up and having that mentality, I have grown into Ioving being in the lead. I love having that spotlight on me; I love having everything on me, knowing that if I mess up, it’s my fault, and I am the one who can control my destiny. I’ve always been really good up near the lead, and today, I showed that a little bit.”

Horschel made five birdies on the front nine to soar toward the top of the leaderboard at the midway point of his round. True to himself, he did not fold down the stretch, but rather, he thrived. His eagle at the par-5 12th gave him a two-shot lead with six holes to play, and he never relinquished it.

2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans odds, picks, Fantasy golf power rankings: PGA Tour predictions and best bets for this week's event from golf expert

Hero Image

Scottie Scheffler overcame a slow start and continued his dominant run on the PGA Tour with a comfortable victory at the RBC Heritage, which finished early on Monday morning. This week, the annual team competition takes center stage on the PGA Tour as the season's most unique event rolls on from TPC Louisiana. Playing for a purse of $8.9 million, 80 teams of two golfers each will play Four-ball (best ball) in the first and third rounds, as well as Foursomes (alternate shot) in the second and fourth rounds. Last year, Nick Hardy and Davis Riley won the team event at -30 and look to defend their title in 2024.

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, the 2022 winners, are the +500 favorites, followed by Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry (+800), Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala (+1100), and Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama (+1600).

With a competitive field for this PGA Tour team competition, who can you trust for your Zurich Classic of New Orleans golf picks? Before you set your 2024 Zurich Classic golf lineups or make any PGA Tour bets, you NEED to see the Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Eric Cohen .

Cohen is an avid golf bettor who correctly predicted the pre-tournament outright winner of the 2024 Players Championship (Scheffler +550), 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic (Rickie Fowler +1400), 2023 PGA Championship (Brooks Koepka +2000), 2023 Honda Classic (Chris Kirk +3500), 2022 Open Championship (Cameron Smith +2200), 2022 U.S. Open (Matt Fitzpatrick +2500), and 2022 Phoenix Open (Scheffler's first career victory at +2800).

Eric is a contributor to SportsLine's YouTube shows including "Early Edge" and is the host of "The Early Wedge" golf show.  Anyone who has followed Cohen's predictions has made positive gains on their golf picks.

Now, Cohen has studied the field set to play at TPC Louisiana and revealed his Zurich Classic of New Orleans Fantasy golf rankings.

We can tell you he is backing the Canadian duo of Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith at +3500, saying: "This all-Canadian team is one to fear, especially with Pendrith coming off a successful week (T11) in Puntacana. Conners is a ball-striking machine and Pendrith is an above-average putter."

On the other hand, Cohen is fading the oddsmakers' second choice, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. "Both floundered on Sunday at the RBC Heritage and have combined for only three top-10s in 17 tournaments played in the United States in 2024."

Cohen also is backing several underdogs in his 2024 Zurich Classic Fantasy golf picks, including a 130-1 longshot team who is worth a long look ! If this team can pull off a stunning result, it would bring a HUGE payoff and be a valuable piece for Zurich Classic Fantasy golf lineups. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any fantasy golf picks.

Who wins the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana ,  a nd which 130-1 longshot team could bring a HUGE payout and be the difference for your Fantasy golf picks?
