Cruise Patagonia's fjords through Última Esperanza Sound, stopping for a hike in the interestingly named Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, which encompasses a large part of the Southern Patagonian Icefield, and is chock full of glaciers... including Pío XI, Chico, Jorge Montt, Chico, Témpano, Penguin and O'Higgins. Latin America encompasses Central and South America, including Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and the Caribbean Islands.

Do I need a visa to travel to Latin America?

Whether or not you need a visa to travel to Latin America depends on the individual country you're visiting and the nationality of your passport.

Each country in Latin America has its own entry and visa requirements, so it's best to do your own research before you travel.

For example, nationals from the US, Australia, Canada, the UK and New Zealand don't need to obtain a visa before visiting most South American countries. Still, it's always wise to double-check well before your intended arrival.

What is internet access like in Latin America?

Internet access in Latin America can vary from country to country and between different regions in that country.

Most hotel chains or other accommodation options in major cities will have wi-fi, so connecting to the Internet will be easy.

An international SIM card with a local provider is recommended if you'd rather have no restrictions (and no exorbitant data roaming fees). This still doesn't mean you're guaranteed access to the Internet, though, as the signal is often limited or unreliable in rural areas such as Argentina, Peru and Colombia.

What are the toilets like in Latin America?

The toilet facilities in Latin America differ depending on which country you're in and what region of that country you're in.

Most major cities have westernised toilet facilities in places such as restaurants and hotels, but the further from urban areas you are, the less likely you'll find these types of toilets, so set your expectations accordingly.

One thing to note is that you'll be asked not to flush toilet paper down the toilet. Plumbing systems in most Latin American countries aren't equipped to handle toilet paper. Instead, bathrooms usually have a small sanitation bin beside the toilet to dispose of toilet paper.

Can I drink the water in Latin America?

In most Latin American countries such as Belize, Guatemala, Brazil and Peru, drinking tap water isn't recommended.

This also means you should brush your teeth with bottled or filtered water, be mindful when showering, ask for drinks without ice in them and peel your fruit and vegetables before you eat them.

The two Latin American countries where tap water is generally considered safe to drink are Chile and Colombia; however, you might still get an upset stomach due to the different mineral content.

For environmental reasons, try to avoid buying bottled water. Instead, bring a reusable water bottle that can be filled with filtered water. Your leader or hotel can tell you where to find filtered water.

When is the best time to visit Latin America?

The best time to visit Latin America is between December and April, when days are nice and dry with reasonably warm but comfortable temperatures. However, this time is also peak season, so expect large attractions to be crowded and accommodation prices to be increase.

If you want nice weather without all of the tourists, try travelling during a shoulder season (September - November or (April - May).

Is tipping expected in Latin America?

Tipping is generally expected by tourists in Latin America, with a gratuity of 10% being the average amount. Most restaurants will add a service charge to your bill, but it's also expected that you leave a 10% tip. However, it's more or less voluntary as some countries don't have a strong tipping culture.

What currency will I need on a Latin American tour?

The most used currency in Latin America is the peso, which is used in 7 countries; Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Uruguay.

What currency you'll need depends on where in Latin America you're going.

Some other currencies include the Brazilian Real (BRL), the Peruvian Sol (PEN), the Costa Rican Solon (CRC) and the Honduran Lempira (HNL). Some Latin American countries also accept United States Dollars (USD).

Do I need to bring cash with me on a Latin American tour?

Cash is still widely used in Latin America and in some countries, is the preferred form of payment, so you should definitely have cash on you during your tour.

Your leader can tell you the closest and most reliable ATMs if you didn't change over money at the airport.

Is Latin America safe for LGBTQIA+ travellers?

Discretion is advised for LGBTQIA+ travellers visiting Latin America.

Although some countries are more tolerant and accepting than others (Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is considered to be the gay capital of Latin America), public displays of affection between same-sex couples are still heavily frowned upon in some countries and countries such as Bolivia still have homosexuality laws in place.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance before travelling?

Absolutely. All passengers travelling with Intrepid are required to purchase travel insurance before the start of their trip. Your travel insurance details will be recorded by your leader on the first day of the trip. Due to the varying nature, availability and cost of health care around the world, travel insurance is very much an essential and necessary part of every journey.

We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

What is the best time to visit moscow.

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Il cantautore italiano Zucchero, uno dei migliori esponenti del blues rock del Bel Paese, si esibirà nell'ambito del suo Overdose d'amore World Tour al BlackBerry Auditorium di Città del Messico il 19 settembre per presentare i suoi più grandi successi, tra cui Baila Morena, Senza una donna, Diamante, Diavolo in me e Sei così bella. Per la presentazione nella capitale messicana, gli organizzatori offrono agevolazioni ai membri della comunità italiana.     Nella sua lunga carriera, Zucchero Fornaciari ha partecipato a diversi festival di fama mondiale, come Live Aid, Live 8, Pavarotti and friends ed ha cantato insieme al gruppo messicano Maná, alla band irlandese U2 e, nel 2023, con i Coldplay, tra gli altri. L'Overdose d'amore World Tour è la ventunesima tournée del musicista emiliano-romagnolo, collegata alle celebrazioni del trentacinquesimo anno dalla pubblicazione del brano omonimo. Come già avvenuto per il World Wild Tour di due anni fa, le prime date ad essere annunciate sono state quelle di Londra, nel marzo 2023, e nel mese di maggio di quest'anno sono stati fissati gli appuntamenti latinoamericani.     Oltre un milione di spettatori hanno assistito finora ai concerti della tournée, di cui 16.500 a Londra, oltre 15mila a Udine, 12mila a Pescara e 45mila a Milano. The instruction sometime is not clear The tour guide is not easily visible when is very crowded or raining with rain coat on Sometime due to the accent tour guide, mistake happened like 15 or 50 meeting places. If in paper even han hand written,we can take a picture to remember

We join this program to explore many town of Italy before plan to visit again. Macarena our guide tour is excellent. She do work hard and can manage everything. Our trip are smooth. We are enjoyed. We will visit Italy again and spend time longer in each town.
