October 17, 2022 – One of the most legendary rock bands of all time, JOURNEY, announces the continuation of their highly successful tour with the 50th Anniversary Celebration Freedom Tour 2023 featuring, very special guest TOTO. JOURNEY , Diamond-selling Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will take the stage in 38 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including "Don't Stop Believin”, "Any Way You Want It", "Faithfully", "Lights" and more.

Presented by AEG Presents, JOURNEY Freedom Tour 2023 begins February 4 in Allentown, PA – making stops in Austin, Montreal, Memphis and more – before wrapping April 25 at the brand new Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, CA. The 2023 run includes rescheduled dates in Washington DC, Hartford, Toronto and Quebec that were postponed earlier this year due to covid.

Since the group's formation in 1973, JOURNEY has earned 19 top 40 singles, 25 gold and platinum albums, and has sold over 100 million albums globally. Presented by AEG Presents, JOURNEY Freedom Tour 2024 begins Friday, February 9 in Biloxi, MS – making stops Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more. The band will play PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC on Saturday, Feb. 17

Journey Announce 2022 Tour With Billy Idol and Toto

Journey have announced a massive 2022 arena tour, with each show featuring an opening set from either Billy Idol or Toto .

The 40-show Freedom Tour launches on Feb. 22 in Pittsburgh, with Idol supporting through April 5 in Los Angeles. Toto will take over the opening slot from April 7 in San Diego through May 11 in Hartford, Conn. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 19.

"It's that time — time to get back to where we are used to being — on stage!" Journey guitarist Neal Schon said in a statement. "We are looking forward to shifting into high gear and bringing you the best show possible. The band is running on all 12 cylinders and very excited! Please come and join us once again for an evening full of rocking stage connection fun. See you soon, friends."

Prior to the Freedom Tour, Journey will play a six-show residency in December at the Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. (Details can be found here .) They'll close out the year with a special symphony performance on Dec. 18 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Journey announces 2022 ‘freedom tour’ with billy idol & toto.

Legendary rock band Journey has announced a 2022 North American tour with Billy Idol and TOTO .

The iconic rock band will head out in February for a 40-date Freedom Tour spanning across the United States and Canada. The tour will kick off in Pittsburgh, PA on February 22nd and continue throughout the country, making a stop at Salt Lake City, UT’s Vivint Arena on March 24th. From there, the tour will continue throughout April and wrap up in Hartford, CT on May 11th.

It’s important to note that the tour is not triple billed. Billy Idol will join Journey for the first 22 shows, including their headlining show in Salt Lake City, while TOTO will complete the remainder of the shows.

Here’s when that long walk at SLC airport will get shorter, and what you’ll see when you take it

The central tunnel and the immersive art installation that accompanies it will open to passengers this fall..

A shorter, prettier walk to the B gates isn’t far off at Salt Lake City International Airport.

When the Central Tunnel opens Oct. 22, travelers who have to trek to concourse B will trim a quarter-mile off their journey. The new tunnel is no shorter than the existing one , but passengers will avoid the walk through the A concourse that they currently have to take to reach the underpass to the B gates.

And when they descend into that new tunnel, they’ll be greeted by an immersive experience from an artist whose work they’ve undoubtedly seen in other parts of the airport. Gordon Huether’s River Tunnel features blue hues throughout the 1,200-foot corridor, sparkling terrazzo floors and a ceiling installation similar to his piece, The Canyon , on the walls of the airport’s main atrium. River Tunnel is designed to give travelers the sense of walking on a riverbed.

The new digs are a big upgrade from the — let’s face it, kind of drab — existing tunnel, which was built in 2004 to create a connection point for a future airport without interfering with the old airport (the Central Tunnel is near what used to be concourse D on the previous facility).

“This is going to make a huge difference,” airport Executive Director Bill Wyatt said Wednesday, “in the way people experience the airport.”

Here are a few highlights of the project:

• Work within the tunnel is largely done. Crews are finishing up the area on concourse B where the tunnel will connect.

• The walk from security to concourse B will be shortened by three to four minutes.

• Passengers who walk through the tunnel will hear an eclectic playlist of nearly 100 songs curated by Huether, including tunes from Johnny Cash, Talking Heads, John Lennon and Post Malone.

• The tunnel is about 26 feet below a taxiway for planes.

• The total price tag of the project was about $80 million. The materials and installation of the art within the tunnel cost about $5.5 million.

• Huether initially wanted the tunnel to be a darker, moodier shade of blue, but, he said, “people started freaking out a little bit.”

• The existing tunnel, known by airport officials as the mid-concourse tunnel, will stay open. Some Delta Air Lines passengers, Wyatt said, may find it faster to use that walkway to connect to a flight at one of the 19 gates the Atlanta-based carrier plans to operate on concourse B.

• Space and platforms already exist for two trains to operate in the same trench that was dug for the tunnel. Those trains, however, won’t be installed until a new third concourse is built.

• Travelers who make their way to the B gates from the Central Tunnel will see an old favorite: the terrazzo world map from the old airport. They’ll also see two new Huether installations: Canyon 2.0 and Northern Light .

Mike Williams, director of the airport’s redevelopment program, sees the Central Tunnel as part of the new airport’s next chapter. The first major change, of course, came in 2020, when the new concourses opened their doors .

“We went from the little old airport to this new airport,” he said. “This year really is the second transformation because we’ve really tied the whole thing together so that you’ll have a travel experience from the time you arrive to wherever your gate is without having to do anything special, like walk extra miles.”

Wyatt, however, remains unconvinced that the new path to the B gates will be the end of the bellyaching he hears about walking.

“I am not confident that it will be the end of all of the complaining about the long walk,” he said. “But I have noticed really a difference, which is, people have sort of had their say . I don’t really hear about it as much anymore.”

Chris Stapleton’s Debut Australian Tour 2025: A Musical Journey

A merican singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton is preparing for his inaugural Australian tour in February and March 2025. Titled the ‘All-American Roadshow Goes Down Under,’ the tour will feature special guest Marcus King joining him on stage.

Heart Extends Massive 2024 Reunion Tour with Shows in Nashville, L.A., N.Y.C. and More — See the Dates!

The rock legends will be setting out on tour along with Cheap Trick, BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening

After a five year hiatus, allow Heart to go "Crazy On You" with their thrilling live show and long-awaited return to the stage!

The rockers previously announced they were setting out on a massive tour in 2024 — marking their reunion and first run of live shows since 2019 — and, on Tuesday, Heart revealed they're expanding the dates. The group helmed by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson will now continue their run, titled the Royal Flush Tour, across North America through the end of the year, along with an A-list slate of special guests.

While the "Barracuda" group's shows this year were originally set to kick off in late April and wrap up by September, they'll now be out on the road through the fall until mid-December.

Heart's 2024 tour kicks off on April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, continues in the U.S. through May, before heading to Europe for a handful of dates in June and July. On July 30, they'll resume their North American leg in Columbus, Ohio, and then play through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

The newly announced dates begin on Sept. 26 in San Francisco and last until Dec. 15 in Las Vegas. Fans will be able to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees at stadiums in major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Nashville, New York City, Vancouver, San Diego and many others.

Throughout the Royal Flush Tour, the "Magic Man" band will be joined by fellow rock legends Cheap Trick, and select shows will also include support from BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening, the project from the son of the English rock group's original drummer.

The Wilson sisters shared a statement in press release about the upcoming concerts.

"We’re so excited to announce more tour dates," Ann, 73, said. “The exceptional talent of the band — Ryan, Ryan, Paul, Tony and Sean — brings a whole new level of energy to Heart’s live performance."

Nancy, 70, added, "I am incredibly proud of the show that we have crafted and am looking forward to reconnecting with even more fans. We can’t wait to share our music with everyone and celebrate the big electric energy of a completely live on the spot rock show."

The Royal Flush Tour comes after the rock favorites celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.

It also marks their first time out on the road together since 2019, when the "Alone" group set out on their Love Alive Tour. At the time, the shows saw the Wilsons coming back together after the two experience a brief rift. (In 2016, Ann's husband,  Dean Wetter, assaulted Nancy's then-16-year-old sons  after they reportedly left a tour bus door open, which he pleaded guilty to two non-felony assault charges.)

Both Ann and Nancy also recently took time to record their own solo efforts: Ann with Fierce Bliss in 2022 and Nancy with You and Me in 2021.

The two hitmakers have both explained to PEOPLE in interviews that taking time apart only makes their work together in Heart stronger.

"[Taking time apart] allows us to bring stuff back to Heart that we didn't have before," Ann said in a 2022 interview . "We love each other. She and I really look forward to smooth sailing."

Meanwhile, Nancy shared in a 2021 conversation that it was "so amazing" to get back out on the road together on their 2019 tour. "I could see that the Heart fans really loved the big spectacle aspects of the show — even if Ann didn't love the bubble machine I had requested," she said. "But most of all we saw how much the Heart fans loved the Heart sisters reunited."

While the previously announced concerts are already on sale , tickets for the fall dates go on sale later this week. Ticket sales kick off with a presale for Citi cardmembers, which lasts from now until Thursday at 10 p.m. local time. The general on-sale will then follow on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
