Alicia Keys Expands Alicia + Keys World Tour Into Latin America

Due to overwhelming demand, global music icon and GRAMMY Award winner  Alicia Keys  announced 2023 Latin America dates to continue her  Alicia + Keys World Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the Latin American leg will kick off on May 3 at Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil making stops across Argentina, Chile, and Colombia before concluding with three nights in Mexico across Monterrey, Mexico City, and Guadalajara on May 14, 17 and 19.

The Latin American leg comes after a sold-out European arena tour and a widely successful North America run in 2022 which featured all-new custom designed staging, lighting, and costuming.

Luego del éxito rotundo de su gira mundial Alicia + Keys World Tour tanto por Europa como por los Estados Unidos en 2022, Alicia Keys anuncia finalmente la etapa latinoamericana de su gira mundial, que incluirá paradas en Brasil, Argentina, Chile y México. La multipremiada artista dará un show en Buenos Aires el domingo 7 de mayo en el Estadio Movistar Arena, producido por Live Nation y DF Entertainment, con escenografía, iluminación y vestuario inspirados en su amigo y mentor Prince.

Due to overwhelming demand, global music icon and Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys announced 2023 Latin America dates to continue her Alicia + Keys World Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the Latin American leg will kick off on May 3rd at Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil making stops across Argentina, Chile, and Colombia before concluding with three nights in Mexico across Monterrey, Mexico City, and Guadalajara on May 14th, 17th and 19th.

The Latin American leg comes after a sold out European arena tour and a widely successful North America run in 2022 which featured all-new custom designed staging, lighting, and costuming.

Tickets available starting Wednesday, March 22nd but vary per market.

Alicia Keys Launches Latin America Leg of ‘Alicia + Keys’ Tour in Brazil

Alicia Keys, a 15-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, began the Latin American leg of her eagerly anticipated Alicia + Keys World Tour on Wednesday night with an electrifying performance at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s Jeunesse Arena, her first performance there in six years.

The worldwide music superstar opened the evening with a touching rendition of “Nat King Cole (Unlocked),” followed by performances of timeless songs like “Fallin” and “No One,” as well as more contemporary hits like “Girl On Fire,” and other hits. Bahian Luedji Luna was a special guest performer.

Iza, a popular singer in Brazil, made a surprise appearance to perform “Unthinkable” alongside Alicia Keys, who also sang Portuguese-language snippets from “Dona de Mim.” The smash hit “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” made up the explosive encore that Alicia performed to close off the show.

The Alicia + Keys World Tour will then arrive in Sao Paulo on May 5 and continue on to Argentina, Chile, and Colombia before wrapping up with three nights in Mexico on May 14–17–19 in Monterrey, Mexico City, and Guadalajara. After Latin America, Keys will launch the KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR in North America, featuring a brand-new, entirely revamped and revised performance experience and set list.

Alicia Keys ’s “ Keys to the Summer ” world tour is stopping by Latin America. Keys informed her fans on social media, sharing her excitement over getting to perform in some of the continent’s most iconic venues and locations.

Keys posted a video of herself singing the Spanish version of “ If I Ain’t Got You ,” one of her most famous songs. “The countdown is on Latin America. I’m getting ready for you,” she captioned the post. Fans were quick to cheer her on in the comments, praising her voice and her excitement. “Even in another language I can’t understand you give me chills when you sing,” wrote a follower. “I love her more now!” wrote someone else.

Keys had previously shared the dates of her tour, which is has various stops in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Chile. The Latin American leg of her tour kicks off in Rio de Janeiro, on May 3rd, and concludes on May 19th, in Mexico. “Latin America Fam!! This is finally happening!!!!!!!!!!” she captioned the post. “I’ve been dreaming about this and you’ve been asking me about this!! We had to make it happen!!! I can’t wait to see you and lose ourselves in the music!!”

Keys shared that tickets would go on sale starting March 22nd. Her world tour kicked off in the US in June of this year, with stops all over North America and Europe. “The KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR is going to be completely unforgettable and unmissable! I describe it as a celebration of freedom and self-liberation! It’s going to be colorful, magical and will light up your body, soul and all of your senses! This is my first time creating a 360 experience and we’ve made sure it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen! I’m so excited to see y’all this summer!” explained Keys of her show to LiveNation.

Alicia Keys is going back on the road again. The 15-time Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer has announced a Latin America leg of her massive Alicia + Keys World Tour .

The tour, produced by Live Nation, begins in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, on May 3 and hits venues in territories such as Sao Paulo and Mexico City before wrapping on May 19 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

In an Instagram post, Keys could hardly contain her excitement about coming to Latin America this spring.

“Latin America Fam!! This is finally happening,” Keys wrote, with three party face emojis to follow. “I’ve been dreaming about this and you’ve been asking about this!! We had to make it happen!!!”

Keys’ new leg of her Alicia + Keys World Tour follows its incredible 2022 run across North America and in the U.K. and European territories.

The tour then and now supports her 2020 album, ALICIA , and its 2021 sequel, KEYS , and 2022 deluxe edition, KEYS II , respectively.

ALICIA was featured on Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2020 list .

Of the album, Rated R&B’s Antwane Folk said , “ ALICIA is an artistic breakthrough for Keys, creating a genre-bending world of pioneering R&B and alt-pop soul with clear imprints of trendy stylings.”

In a December 2021 interview with Rated R&B , Keys gave more insight into KEYS , part Originals and part Unlocked.

“It is an invitation for all of us to show up to ourselves and not hold back any part of ourselves. I think a lot of us oftentimes feel like we have to dim it down and small it down. No, I refuse it anymore. I invite us all to refuse it because there’s a power and a special energy that we all have,” Keys explained of the album concept.

KEYS II arrived in August 2022, just two months before Keys released her holiday-themed album, Santa Baby .

The album produced the No. 1 single “Trillions” featuring Brent Faiyaz, extending her lead with the most leaders (13) on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It also topped R&B radio .

“ Come For Me ,” the latest focus track from KEYS II , on which Khalid and Lucky Daye feature, is No. 18 on the Adult R&B Airplay list at the time of publication.

Tras cosechar éxitos en Europa y Estados Unidos durante 2022, Alicia Keys ha anunciado finalmente la extensión de su gira mundial hacia América Latina, con paradas programadas en Brasil, Argentina, Chile y México. La reconocida artista, galardonada en múltiples ocasiones, ofrecerá un espectáculo en la capital argentina, producido por Live Nation y DF Entertainment, con un diseño de escenografía, iluminación y vestuario inspirados en su amigo y mentor Prince. Due to overwhelming demand, global music icon and GRAMMY Award winner Alicia Keys announced 2023 Latin America dates to continue her Alicia + Keys World Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the Latin American leg will kick off on May 3 at Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil making stops across Argentina, Chile, and Colombia before concluding with three nights in Mexico across Monterrey, Mexico City, and Guadalajara on May 14, 17 and 19.

The Latin American leg comes after a sold-out European arena tour and a widely successful North America run in 2022 which featured all-new custom designed staging, lighting, and costuming.

Alicia Keys Shares a Series of Live Albums Captured in Latin America

Alicia Keys has shared a series of live albums capturing the “beauty and energy” of her recent tour stops in Latin America.

The Alicia + Keys World Tour kicked off in June of last year, with legs in Europe, North America, and Latin America. It seems Keys found the Latin run of dates especially moving, given the fact she chose to release her first live albums with recordings from the shows.

There are five live albums in all, all titled INOLVIDABLE (unforgettable) along with the name of the city in which they were captured – Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Bogota, and São Paulo. Each of the live concert albums runs 90 minutes and features some of Keys’ biggest hits, including, “No One,” “Girl on Fire,” “Fallin’,” and “If I Ain’t Got You.” Elsewhere are guest artists including Brazilian artist IZA, Argentinian artist Cazzu, and Chilean star Ana Tijoux.

Keys will embark on another tour, the Keys to the Summer Tour, on June 28. The singer/songwriter will head back to North America for 23 arena dates and an all-new, redesigned 360-degree stage set-up.

Keys has tapped Cameroonian-American Afrobeats singer Libianca and Nigerian artist Simi for tour support along the trek.

In other Keys news, she recently announced the creation of a musical based on her life and rise to fame, Hell’s Kitchen .

“I’ve been working on Hell’s Kitchen for 13 years!!” Keys shared on social media . “Now, it’s finally making its world premiere on October 24th at the ICONIC  @PublicTheaterNY  in the heart of NYC this fall is a DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!!

This show is NY’s Finest!! It’s everything to me and it’s going to touch your SOUL!! I can’t wait for you to experience it!”

[Charlotte]  Alicia Keys announced today that she will be launching a North American summer concert tour which starts June 28 th  in Ft. Lauderdale, FL .  Produced by Live Nation, the  KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR   follows her sold-out and critically acclaimed The Alicia + Keys World Tour which brought Keys across Europe, North America and will soon head to Latin America.  

The general on sale for the  KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR  will begin  Friday, April 21 st at 9am local time.  Pre-sales will run from Tuesday, April 18 th  – Thursday, April 20 th . Alicia Keys Fan Club and Keys Soulcare Pre-Sales will launch Tuesday, April 18 th  at 1pm ET. The  KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR  will bring the GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar back to North America for 23 arena dates and an all new, completely reimagined and redesigned concert experience and set list. The tour will feature Keys, for the first time ever, in a 360-degree, “in the round” production setup which will allow fans to experience her live performance in an entirely new and exhilarating way.
