Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour heading back to Pacific Northwest in 2024

Christmas is coming early to the Pacific Northwest — in 2024 — with Taylor Swift adding three new dates to her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Swift will be performing in Vancouver, British Columbia from Dec. 6 – 8, 2024, at BC Place . Gracie Abrams is set to be the opening act.

Tickets for the new Vancouver dates will go on sale Thursday, Nov. 9 on Ticketmaster. Registration opened today and runs through Saturday.

Swift has been extending her tour on a number of occasions in recent months, adding six additional performances at Toronto’s Rogers Centre as well as extra tour dates at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome and Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, according to Deadline .

She also added 14 European 2024 shows alongside extra dates in Japan, Australia and Singapore.

The Summer of Taylor Swift has fully extended itself into the autumn. Bloomberg reported Taylor Swift reached an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion after her monstrous success with her Eras Tour. Her tour is on track to earn the artist $4.1 billion, the most ever for a solo artist in history for a single tour, according to The Economic Times .

She broke local records as well, with 72,171 Seattle Swifties piling into Lumen Field over the summer to witness her tour, the most ever in the venue’s history for a concert at the time of the concert.

Additionally, Swift’s theatrical version of her concert has also shattered records. Swift’s concert film earned $92.8 million domestically during opening weekend, the second-biggest for any October release in history, and the most ever for a concert film. “ Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour ” is currently the 16th highest-grossing film domestically in 2023.

PARKING& TRANSPORTATION  

TRAFFIC ALERT:  

• Both directions of SR 520 will close from 11 p.m. Friday, July 21, through 5 a.m. Monday, July 24. Plan ahead for alternate routes.  
• Fans should expect heavy traffic both Saturday & Sunday. The Seattle Mariners have 1:10pm home games at T-Mobile Park on Saturday & Sunday directly south of Lumen Field. Traffic is expected to be heaviest when Mariners fans are leaving T-Mobile Park post-game. We recommend fans coming to the concert arrive before or after the end of the Mariners game to avoid overlapping traffic.

Public Transportation: We strongly recommend taking advantage of the many easy and cost-effective public transportation options to and from the concert including bus, light rail, streetcar, ferry, and bike or scooter share. Allow for extra travel time when planning your trip to and from the event. View specific Taylor Swift transportation information at Sound Transit and King County Metro .  

• Link light rail will have extended service July 22 & 23 post-concert until 1:40 AM.
• Metro will also run a special downtown shuttle post-concert. Catch this bus on the west side of Lumen Field along 1 st Ave and Charles St to make easy connections to downtown hotels and other transit. The bus will stop along the way north until 4 th and Stewart before circulating back to the stadium.
• The FREE waterfront shuttle is back in operation and running 7 days a week (10am-8pm) through Sept 24 th . The shuttle stops at the Space Needle, Pioneer Square, King Street Station, the Chinatown International District, and more.  
• Water Taxis from West Seattle will be running from 8:30AM until half past midnight both days. More information.

Parking: On-site parking is SOLD OUT . Parking will NOT be available for purchase day of in the Lumen Field Parking Garage or the North Lot. For fans who pre-purchased parking in the Lumen Field Parking Garage, please view the traffic alerts above.

ENTRY INFORMATION

• Bowl Tickets: If you have a ticket in the seating bowl (non-floor ticket) you can enter through the NW Gate, West Gate, S Gate, or Event Center Gate. You will not be able to enter through the Floor Ticket Entry point.
• Floor Tickets: Fans with floor tickets must enter through the dedicated Floor Ticket Entry point through the Event Center (look for signage outside under the WAMU Theater marquee). If you are with friends who do not have a floor ticket, they will need to enter through the other gates.
• Suite Tickets: If you have a suite ticket, you can enter through any gate except the Lumen Field Event Center gate. Entry through Level 6 of the Parking Garage is for Suite only tickets.
• Accessible Entry Information: All gates allow ADA access. In addition, Level 2 of the Lumen Field Parking Garage is an ADA-only entrance. If entering the Parking Garage from Royal Brougham Way, take the elevator to Level 2 and cross the garage to the opposite end. To view the Accessibility Services Guide, click here .  
• Tickets will NOT be sold at the Lumen Field Box Office for #SeattleTSTheErasTour. Tickets may only be purchased online at ticketmaster.com .  
• The NW Box Office will be open at 10am for ticketing questions and customer service. The Event Center box office will open at 1:30pm for customer service.
• All tickets are mobile tickets. Fans are reminded to access their mobile tickets and pre-purchased parking passes in advance of the event and add them to their mobile wallet for expedited entry

MERCHANDISE

#SeattleTSTheErasTour Early Merch Day will be Friday, July 21 from 10AM to 7PM  and open to all. Fans are invited to purchase merchandise ahead of show day with early merchandise sales located outside the NW and S Gates. Lineup will not be permitted before 8am. Limited parking will be available for purchase in the Lumen Field Parking Garage and North Lot on Friday. Restrooms and water for purchase will be available near the merchandise areas.

Show day merchandise sales will begin at 12PM. Merchandise will be located outside the NW and S gates as well as inside the stadium for fans with tickets. Parking will NOT be available in the Lumen Field Parking Garage and North Lot. Fans will not be permitted to line up earlier than 10am. Restrooms and water for purchase will be available near the merchandise areas.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is returning to the Pacific Northwest in 2024

Any Seattle Swifties who missed out on the pop superstar’s literally seismic shows in the summer might be in luck. Taylor Swift is bringing her ridiculously hyped Eras Tour back to the Pacific Northwest.

Ensuring Taylor mania will extend well into 2024, Swift has extended the Canadian portion of her world tour with three Vancouver dates late next year. The Eras Tour will take over BC Place from Dec. 6-8, 2024, giving Washington fans plenty of time to get their passports up to date.

While it remains to be seen if Swift’s overexposed romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce will still be aflame, registration for a chance to buy tickets is open now through 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, via everyone’s favorite ticketing behemoth, Ticketmaster.

Achey-hearted singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, who opened Swift’s Seattle shows with her booming, anthemic vocals, will also support Swift on her north-of-the-border run.

While it’ll be another year before the star’s latest lap around the globe brings Swift and her woodsy “Folklore” and “Evermore” era stage motifs back to moss country, her “Taylor Swift: Eras Tour” concert film is still playing in local movie theaters.

Swift released her latest installment in her ongoing undertaking of rerecording her previous albums, dropping “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” last Friday.

Who knows, if the NFL scheduling stars align and this thing with Kelce holds, maybe Swift can get a taste of the 12s during a game at Lumen Field, where she briefly set a new attendance record in the summer until her buddy Ed Sheeran broke it a few weeks later.

How many shows can I register for?

You may register for up to three (3) shows. When doing so, please be sure to rank your show preferences in order from highest to lowest. Please note: Registering for multiple shows does not guarantee that you will be selected for all shows you’ve ranked. If demand for tickets from verified fans exceeds supply for a given show, invitations may be subject to availability.

How many tickets can I purchase?

Fans may purchase a maximum of six (6) tickets per show using their unique access code. If you are selected for multiple shows, you will receive one (1) code for each show.

Can I change or update the shows I register for?

Yes, you can update your show preferences any time before registration ends. To do so, return to the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan registration link and click “edit entry”. Only your last selections will be considered once registration closes.

Can I register more than once to increase my invitation status?

No, only one registration is permitted per person.

When submitting my registration I received a 6-digit authentication code from Ticketmaster. Can I use this code to purchase tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan?

No, if selected for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan you will receive a new, unique, alphanumeric access code the night prior to your show(s) going on sale. The previous 6-digit authentication code you received when registering was sent to verify your mobile phone number. It cannot be used to purchase tickets.

Can I register for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan outside of the U.S.?

Yes, however you must use a U.S. or Canadian phone number. Please note that VOIP numbers are not supported.

Registration closes on Wednesday, November 9 at 11:59PM ET .

Does registering mean I get a TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan access code?

Access codes are never guaranteed, and due to anticipated demand, fans will be selected at random to receive an invitation to shop for tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan.

I received a confirmation email, what does that mean?

This email is to confirm your details and that we successfully received your registration. It doesn’t, however, guarantee you’ll receive an invitation to purchase tickets. On Monday, November 14, you’ll receive an email with additional information about your invitation status.

Does getting an access code mean I will get tickets?

No. Only fans who have been verified and invited to shop by receiving an access code will have the opportunity to purchase tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan.

Receiving an access code means that you’ll have the opportunity to shop for tickets. However, the ability to purchase tickets is determined by supply and demand, and is not guaranteed. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.

If selected, fans will also receive a text message to the phone number provided during registration. This text will include a unique access code and a link to shop. Keep an eye out for this text and be careful not to accidentally delete it.

The Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the sale begins. You may only join the Waiting Room using the same Ticketmaster Account that you registered with.

When the sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room will be assigned a spot in line. When it is your turn to shop, you must enter your access code exactly as it appears in your text to access tickets.

Can I share my access code with my friends or family?

No. To purchase tickets with your unique code during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan, you must be logged in to the Ticketmaster Account you registered with. Your access code is unique to your account and for this reason, fans will not be able to share their codes with friends or family.

What device should I use to purchase tickets?

All ticket purchases must be made online. Please be prepared to shop for tickets using your computer, mobile web, or Ticketmaster app. Tickets will not be available by phone call.

Can I sign into the same Ticketmaster Account on multiple devices to shop?

No, when you sign into the same account on multiple devices it may result in errors and/or limit you from shopping during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan. Before the sale begins, please double check you are only signed into the Ticketmaster Account you registered with on one device.

How many tabs can I have open at once?

One tab per show.

You may only use multiple tabs on the same device when shopping for more than one show (if you received an invitation to multiple shows). As a reminder:

• If you’d like to shop for tickets to multiple shows, you will need to join the Waiting Room for each one.
• Please only join the Waiting Room once and only use one tab per show to reduce any delays.

I got an email telling me that I’m on the Waitlist, what does that mean?

Due to extremely high demand, not all fans who register may be invited to purchase tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan. Should additional tickets become available, a select number of registered fans may be randomly selected to move off the waitlist. If this happens, you will be notified via text message.

Will there be a way to purchase tickets other than the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan?

Yes. The General Public On-Sale will be Friday, November 18 at 10AM local venue time.

Why do I see tickets available to purchase on another site before the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan has even happened?

Many unofficial sellers will list tickets before they even go on sale. This practice is called speculative listing and fans should not trust resellers claiming to have tickets. Will there be VIP packages available for the tour?

A limited number of VIP Packages + Tickets may be available at time of purchase. Check your event page for any VIP details.

What are the health check requirements?

Taylor Swift is, at long last, headed back on the road. Following this week’s monumental chart debut of Midnights , her tenth studio album, Swift announced the U.S. leg of her 2023 Eras tour on Tuesday morning (Nov. 1), confirming her first official tour in nearly five years following months of rumors.

“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you: I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on GMA . “The tour is called the Eras tour and it’s a journey through all of the musical eras of my career.”

Swift said that after kicking off in the U.S., the tour will go on an international swing, with those dates to be announced soon.

Support on the tour will come via a rotating cast of opening acts including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Muna, Haim, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn. The public on-sale date for the tour will be 10 a.m. local venue time on Nov. 18. Swift has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program, with fans able to register here for the TaylorSwiftTix presale now through Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Registered fans will get a code with exclusive access to purchase tickets on Nov. 15 starting at 10 a.m. local venue time.

Previous Lover Fest Verified Fan purchasers will get preferred access to participate in the TaylorSwiftTix presale; make sure to register with the same Ticketmaster Account as your Lover Fest purchase. Capital One cardholders will have priority access to purchase tickets on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. local venue time through Nov. 17 at 10 p.m. local venue time or until supplies last.

Swift’s planned follow-up to the Reputation tour, Lover Fest, was scheduled to take place in 2020 following the 2019 release of her Lover album, but was canceled due to the pandemic. Since the Reputation tour, Swift has released four original studio albums — Lover , 2020’s Folklore and Evermore , and Midnights — as well as two re-recorded albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) , both in 2021.

This week, Midnights blasted in atop the Billboard 200 albums chart with 1.578 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 27, according to Luminate — the biggest week for any album in nearly seven years. Meanwhile, Swift made history on the Hot 100 by becoming the first artist to claim the chart’s entire top 10 in a single frame, with “Anti-Hero” debuting at No. 1 to become her ninth career chart-topper.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” is one of this year’s most popular tours and if you haven’t gotten your ticket to see Miss Americana singing live on the West Coast, wipe those tears off your guitar because there’s still time to score seats.

Taylor Swift is heading to Seattle, Washington this weekend for back-to-back concerts on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23. The ‘Eras Tour’ begins at 6:30 at Lumen Field. Tickets are sold out through Ticketmaster but resale sites like VividSeats , MegaSeats , StubHub and more have tickets to spare, sometimes at a better price and with a better seat.

As of Tuesday, StubHub had the best single-seat deal at $855. After her stop in Seattle, Swift will finish out the tour with eight concerts at stadiums across California.

Taylor Swift’s popularity is at an all-time high, and just this week it was announced that she has become the first woman — and third artist ever — to have four of the Top 10 albums in the Billboard 200 chart at the same time. It’s a feat previously managed by only The Beatles and Prince.

Taylor Swift continues to thrill fans with unforgettable performances and huge announcements during the tour. At her Nashville show, Swift announced that her  “Speak Now”  version, which released on July 7th. Fans can order her 3LP vinyl, CDs, and other merch in her shop. More recently, Swift announced that she will re-release her “Lover” album with new “From The Vault” songs, with “Cruel Summer” being the single.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour

On November 1st, 2022, a mere eleven days after releasing her tenth studio album Midnights, pop mastermind Taylor Swift dropped the dates of her Eras tour. Nothing has been the same since. Just kidding (kind of). In the last eight months, Ticketmaster broke , the Swifties tried to unionize , Tay Tay had a   fling with a   human sewer rat , and devotees started wearing diapers to her concerts. In a time when it feels like Swift's fame has reached an all-time high, it's amazing how she's been able to maintain intrigue. One way that she's been keeping fans on their toes is by performing two unique songs each night, in addition to her regular 42-song setlist. I was fortunate enough to score tickets when they first went on sale (please don't ask me to sell them to you). She's unfortunately already played my favorites "Sad Beautiful Tragic," "Would've Could've Should've," and "Haunted," but there’s still hope! As of now (peep the fan-made spreadsheet to stay updated), the age-gap anthem "Dear John" and (debatably) her gayest song "Dress" are still fair game. I want to say, don't miss what will surely be an incredible tour. But I also want to say, please don't spend $5k on a ticket .

Seattle Swifties Match 2.3 Magnitude Earthquake at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Taylor Swift ‘s Swifties have earned a reputation for breaking records, from streaming numbers to vinyl purchases — and after the singer’s recent Eras tour concerts in Seattle, they’ve added a seismic activity record to their list of accomplishments. According to seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach, the audience that packed into Lumen Field across those two nights caused seismic activity that equates to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.

The sold-out shows welcomed more than 70,000 fans each night. Caplan-Auerbach discovered the giant bump in movement when members of the Pacific Northwest earthquake group she moderates on Facebook pointed out the comparison between Swift’s show and the “Beast Quake.”

And the activity mirrored itself across the two nights, save for a half-hour delay between them. “I grabbed the data from both nights of the concert and quickly noticed they were clearly the same pattern of signals,” Caplan-Auerbach added. “If I overlay them on top of each other, they’re nearly identical.”
