KETTLER WORLD TOURS Training portal

KETTLER WORLD TOURS 2.0/3.0 (KWT) stores the recorded training data as well as custom routes and programs in a local database on your PC. If you want an automatic online backup of your data, you have come to the right place.

Log in with your KWT portal user here . A new user, create it on www.kettlerworldtours.de .

Feature overview

Available storage Sizes

The amount of memory required depends on how many users are backed up and how many training records are recorded. Through regular training, the amount of data grows over time.

* The number of users is only a recommendation. If the memory is full, no new data can be synchronized anymore.

Activating synchronization in KETTLER WORLD TOURS

To enable synchronization in KWT, do the following:

• Start KETTLER WORLD TOURS 2.0 or 3.0

• In the main menu, go to Login . Select the user you want to synchronize and go to Edit .

• Log on with the user and the synchronization begins. From now on, all user changes, training data, programs and tours are automatically synchronized.

Kettler World Tour

To install the run on the Kettler World Tour software you need:

Copy the KRS files to the Courses folder: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ KETTLER \ WORLD TOURS 2.0 \ Courses

Copy the AVI files to the folder: Video C: \ ProgramData \ KETTLER \ TourConcept \ Video

The Program Data folder is hidden, so the display of hidden folders must be enabled. Once you've copied the files, go out and re-enter the Kettler World Tour program.

Kettler world tours 2.0 + 3.0.

All videos can be used with KWT 2.0 + 3.0. Download versions and all DVDs from season 2013/2014 on can be installed directly (see the setup hints ).

Installation programs only have the variant for version 2.0, KWT 3.0 copies all newly installed videos for KWT 2.0 automatically at program start.

For older DVDs (until article number 10045) you can install the required KWT-files for your purchased real life videos with the installation program for KWT 2.0 + 3.0 . You then need only copy the videos (only the avi-files) from the DVD to the location mentioned by the installation program.

Possibly the ProgramData directory is not visible because it is hidden with Windows 7. This must be turned off in WindowsExplorer under Tools -> Folder Options -> View: "Show hidden files and folders".

For problems with Real Life Videos in KWT 2.0 + 3.0, look at the Kettler Forum , there are already many helpful answers for these questions.

Hint regarding the demo version of KWT: The installation program copies the tourfiles only in the installation folder of the full version of KWT. When you use the demo version please copy the tourfiles (*.krs) from C:\Program Files (x86)\KETTLER\WORLD TOURS 2.0\Courses into C:\Program Files (x86)\KETTLER\WORLD TOURS 2.0 DEMO \Courses . The files are named as the video files.

The training devices are managed in this section. The registered devices and their configurations are displayed in this list.

A new device is registered using the Add function. The following screen appears.

Search/select device

The type of interface has to be selected first.

Devices that are connected by USB or COM are set up using the USB/COM key.

KETTLER WORLD TOURS carries out an automatic search on all the PC's COM ports when you press the Search key . If you know the COM port, you can select this directly from the appropriate field.

With some older devices that do not have unique identification it is possible to define them by selecting the electronic display images.

Devices that communicate by Bluetooth are set up using the Bluetooth key.

By clicking the Select key a selection dialogue appears where all the Bluetooth devices are listed. For the devices to be listed here they have to be connected beforehand using the Windows control panel. However, it is possible to connect them directly in this dialogue by setting the device to visible mode. Once the device is selected KETTLER WORLD TOURS tries to establish a connection and determine what kind of device it is.

Once it is successfully connected, a control explanation or command appears to connect a control panel. Operation may differ with devices with gear Levers.

Demo device

The Demo key allows you to configure a test device. You can familiarise yourself with KETTLER WORLD TOURS using the demo device without having to workout. The courses run independently. The demo device can be started or stopped using the space key. Under Select device you can choose the type of device, exercise bike, treadmill or cross trainer with elevation setting.

Search/select control panel

If the connected training device has a USB port, another separate COM port is required for the control panel. The control panel is passive and does not send any information. Therefore a key must be permanently pressed on the control panel for detection during a search or when selecting the port! Once detected, this key turns yellow and then changes to red on the display.

Once the control panel is detected, you have to press the other keys individually until these keys have also turned red.

The position in which the control panel is to be installed can be chosen in Direction .

Once all the entries are valid, the Apply key will be displayed for selection and only then are the training functions available in the program.

Remove device

To remove a device from the list, select the entry and the Remove key.

Clipboard function

The list of devices can be copied onto the clipboard, for example to forward the data to Support, using this function.

Change the control panel direction

To change the control panel direction, select the device from the list and open up the Edit function from the context menu (right mouse click).
