Bangalore & Mysore Tour With Wildlife Nagarhole & Coonoor Safari

The Bangalore & Mysore Tour with Wildlife Nagarhole & Coonoor Safari and it was an unforgettable experience. From the bustling city of Bangalore to the serene forests of Nagarhole and the charming town of Coonoor, this tour truly had it all. The tour started in Bangalore, a city known for its vibrant culture, delicious food, and bustling markets. Our guide took us to some of the must-visit places in the city, including the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, the Bangalore Palace, and the iconic Cubbon Park. We also got to taste some of the famous South Indian delicacies like dosas and idlis. Next, we headed to Mysore, a city steeped in history and culture. We visited the magnificent Mysore Palace, which left us in awe with its grand architecture and intricate designs. We also got to witness the famous Mysore Dasara festival, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But the highlight of the tour was the wildlife safari in Nagarhole National Park. We were lucky enough to spot a variety of animals, including elephants, deer, and even a tiger! The lush green forests and the sound of birds chirping made for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The Coonoor safari was equally amazing, with its picturesque tea plantations and stunning views of the Nilgiri mountains. We also got to taste some freshly brewed tea and learn about the process of tea-making at a local tea factory. The accommodations provided throughout the tour were comfortable and the food was delicious. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the Bangalore & Mysore Tour with Wildlife Nagarhole & Coonoor Safari was a perfect blend of city life, wildlife adventure, and natural beauty. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and fulfilling travel experience in India.

Customized Culture and Beach Holiday in India with Daily Departure

We had a very interesting tour with an excellent driver (Mr Anthony) who made us comfortable and very knowledgeable guides everywhere we visited. Our favourite Hotel was in Mysore although all were good and the visit to Halebidu was probably my highlight as the temples were magnificent with such elaborate carvings. Goa was not as relaxing as I imagined. We enjoyed the beach but didn't want to lay in the sun too long so other than shopping we didn't find it as attractive as we had expected. Overall all it was a very good introduction to a country we had not visited before. The arrangements for meeting the drivers and guides worked well for us despite us arriving and departing before/after the 11 day tour so thanks to Linda and other support staff this worked well.

The Southern Feast - Karnataka & Goa Tour

The Southern Feast - Karnataka & Goa

The tour is highly recommended historically and culturally, especially places like Hampi and Badami. Goa is overly touristy for a person with a professional background in tourism, yet old Goa is a very nice place to visit. Our hotel was near Baga beach and it was a nice place to relax and have some ayurvedic spa time! MTA organized the tour very well. We had a comfortable car, an excellent and professional driver Parveen throughout the tour. Most of the tour guides were very good. Most of the hotels and food were good I recommend you to discuss and choose the hotels carefully in advance. Ask for all options so you can choose accordingly. The MTA representative Manish is very helpful and will find you the best option that suits your preferences and budget. We definitely had a very good and enjoyable time in Kernataka and Goa! And after our experience we can highly recommend MTA.

What people love about karnataka tours.

I have to go on a Bangalore & Mysore tour with Wildlife Nagarhole & Coonoor Safari and it was an unforgettable experience. From the bustling city of Bangalore to the tranquil forests of Nagarhole and the charming town of Coonoor, this tour truly had something for everyone. Our tour started in Bangalore, also known as the Silicon Valley of India. The city was a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, with its skyscrapers and ancient temples coexisting harmoniously. Our tour guide took us to some of the must-see spots in the city, including the famous Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace and the Lalbagh Botanical Garden. We also got to taste some delicious local food at the famous food street in VV Puram. Next, we headed to Nagarhole National Park, one of the best wildlife reserves in India. The safari through the park was a thrilling experience as we got to see a variety of animals like elephants, tigers, leopards, and many more in their natural habitat. We were lucky enough to spot a family of elephants crossing the road right in front of our jeep. The park also had a beautiful river running through it, making the scenery even more picturesque. After our wildlife adventure, we traveled to the charming hill station of Coonoor. The drive through the Nilgiri mountains was breathtaking and Coonoor itself was a quaint little town with lush green valleys and tea plantations. We took a safari through the nearby Mudumalai National Park and spotted many exotic birds and animals like peacocks, deer, and even a leopard. The highlight of the tour for me was the visit to Mysore, also known as the City of Palaces. The Mysore Palace was a sight to behold with its intricate architecture and rich history. We also visited the famous Chamundeshwari Temple and watched the mesmerizing light and sound show at the Brindavan Gardens. Throughout the tour, our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, providing us with interesting facts and stories about each place we visited. The accommodations and transportation were also top-notch, making our journey comfortable and hassle-free. Overall, the Bangalore & Mysore tour with Wildlife Nagarhole & Coonoor Safari was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the beauty and diversity of South India. It was a perfect blend of city life, wildlife, and nature, making it a well-rounded and unforgettable trip. I can't wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful region.

Why to Buy Tour Packages for Karnataka?

  • Local Expertise and Itinerary Planning: Karnataka tour packages are designed by travel experts who possess in-depth knowledge of the state's attractions, transportation options, and logistics. They craft well-planned itineraries that consider the challenges faced by travelers, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable trip. For example, a package might include visits to popular destinations like Mysore, Hampi, and Coorg, taking into account transportation connectivity and time efficiency.
  • Hassle-Free Transportation and Connectivity: Karnataka is a vast state with diverse landscapes and destinations. Navigating through the transportation infrastructure and ensuring connectivity between different regions can be challenging. With a Karnataka tour package, transportation arrangements, including transfers between cities, are taken care of. This eliminates the stress of arranging transportation independently and ensures seamless connectivity between various attractions.
  • Local Guides and Cultural Insights: Karnataka tour packages often include the services of knowledgeable local guides who provide insights into the state's culture, history, and traditions. They can bridge the language gap, offer local perspectives, and enhance the travel experience. For instance, a guide can explain the significance of the ancient ruins in Hampi or the architectural marvels of Halebidu and Belur.
  • Convenience and Time Efficiency: Planning a comprehensive trip to Karnataka individually can be time-consuming and challenging due to the state's diverse offerings. A Karnataka tour package provides convenience and time efficiency as all the logistics, including accommodations, transportation, and sightseeing, are taken care of. This allows travelers to make the most of their time and focus on enjoying the destinations rather than dealing with logistics.
  • Safety and Support: Reputable tour operators prioritize the safety and well-being of their customers. They have established safety protocols and support systems to address any unforeseen situations or emergencies. This ensures that travelers can explore Karnataka with peace of mind, knowing that they have professional assistance and guidance if needed.
  • Local Experiences and Off-the-Beaten-Path Destinations: Karnataka tour packages often include visits to offbeat destinations and hidden gems that may be challenging to discover independently. These experiences provide a deeper understanding of the state's culture and allow travelers to explore lesser-known attractions. For example, a package might offer a visit to the lesser-explored Western Ghats region for trekking or wildlife encounters.
  • Expert Recommendations and Culinary Delights: Karnataka is renowned for its diverse cuisine, including delicious South Indian dishes like dosas, idlis, and local delicacies like Mysore pak and Coorg pandi curry. A Karnataka tour package can provide expert recommendations for authentic culinary experiences, ensuring travelers get to savor the best local flavors. This helps overcome the challenge of finding the most authentic and delicious food options.

Afternoon  visit  Paliam Dutch Palace, Paliam Nalukettu , Kerala Jews Historical Museum  at Paravur Synagogue. Later drive to Cheruthuruthy for overnight stay.

Jews all over the world are a proud lot when it comes to their culture and heritage. Resulting from their diaspora in the sixth century BC, they made their presence felt in different parts of the world. They made India too their home, till majority of them returned to Israel after 1948.

Kerala is one place in India, where the Jewish community made its presence felt in a strong manner.

The synagogue at Chennamangalam reflects traditional Kerala architecture and has utilized western construction technology. Some of the visual attractions of this synagogue are undoubtedly the majestic altar, which stands out for its intricate artwork. The synagogue has a high roof, which at first sight would itself convince one about the difficulties that the craftsmen might have encountered while fixing it. The ceiling of the roof has a brightly coloured chequered pattern, with huge wooden beams giving additional support to the roof.

The short Muziris trail will give you a different picture on the historic thoughts on Kerala where we see a lot of influences during the life of our ancestors which paved ways to a better State later. Its amzing to see inspite of all kinds of invasions and destructions, still Kerala maintains a harmonious way of life and different religions play significant roles in maintaining a harmony within the society and life of Keralites. We could see the emerging of Cochin as the present trade centre due to many invasions in the olden days.

The aroma of the soil mingles with the wetness of the air and tingles our senses like the caress of a cool wind. Further, the little stream lowing creates a beautiful sound and whoever listens to it feels the beauty of nature. One gets easily mesmerized with the beauty of the surroundings.

Hampi

Hampi, also known as ‘ THE FORT OF VICTORY – VIJAYANAGARA’, situated on the banks of the river Tungabhadra in the region of Bellary, is a vast site of monuments and ruins, a mute witness to an ear of glories, triumphs and tragedies. The ruins of Hampi, are so majestic and imposing that they leave the visitor totally dumbfounded, awestruck and humbled. Visit the Virupaksha Temple, rises majestically at the western end of a 670m long street that was once the famous Hampi bazaar. This is the only temple at Hampi that is still used for worship. The most splendid monument of Hampi is undoubtedly The Vitthala Temple Complex. The 56 pillars in the main hall produce musical notes when struck. To the east of the hall is the famous Stone Chariot with stone wheels that actually revolve! Hampi is full of such surprises. The restoration and rehabilitation is still going on to bring Hampi township to its Royal touch.Archeological survey of India takes much pain to restore the same. The Hampi Township spread over 10 kms starting from Anantashayana Temple.

You will also visit Zanana Enclave (Women’s apartments),remnants of Queen’s Palace,King’s private temple called Hazararama Temple. There is also a huge elephant shed for 13 elephants,an open long dining table made of stone with inbuilt plates and so on.Another attraction is Vijaya Vithala Temple  which is no more used for worship. The architecture of this temple is amazing and the unique part is the huge stone chariot in front of the temple. No vehicles are allowed to approach the temple. There are Electric cars available at minimum costs for regular transfers up and down.

Day 10–Hospet-Badami (150 kms-3 Hours)

After breakfast, drive Badami. Afternoon visit Aihole & Pattadackal, famous as the ‘Cradle of Hindu Temple Architecture’. Overnight at Badami.

Badami

Aihole has over 100 temples scattered around the village. Wherever one looks, it’s temples that meet the eyes.  Intricately carved, rich in detail, quiet and peaceful. Mute witnesses of a bygone era. Visit the oldest temple here is, perhaps, the Lad Khan temple dating back to the 5th century. The Durga Temple in Aihole is decidedly one of the finest specimens belonging to the late 7th century. It outbids the rest of the shrines both in artistic form and aesthetic sense.

It has an undivided chamber and is unique as its built on the lines of Buddhist Chaitya with an apsidal shaped cella over which rises a little spire or shikhara. The outer walls of the shrine have beautifully carved figures or Narasimha, Mahishaasuramardini, Varaha, Vishnu, Shiva and Ardanarishwara. You may also visit the museum at Aihole. Another piece of attraction is Huchchappayana Matha Temple. The temple has sculptures on its outer walls. The doorframe of the Garbhagriha is very well wrought with Ganga and Yamuna images. There are also some impressive figures of amorous couples.

The group of monuments at Pattadakal is a splendid contribution of Chalukyas of Badami, lies on the left bank of river Malaprabha amidst a rugged yet picturesque landscape. Aihole was an important centre of early Western Chalukya Kings from 6th to 8 Century. It gained cultural glory in 7th Century A.D.Since then several temples were built by Rastrakuta and Chalukya dynasties.According to historians and scholars, the architecture skill of Badami Chalukya was evolved in Aihole and developed in Badami and further reached its pinnacle in terms of growth and perfection at Pattadakallu. The name Pattadakallu derived as this was the crowning place for Princes. Most of the temples at Pattadkal were built by the early Chalukyas.

Day 11–Badami-Goa( 300 kms-7 Hours Drive)

After an early breakfast, check out and visit the cave temples in Badami. Later drive to Goa. Enroute visit Belgaum Fort and the Jain temple inside the Fort. On arrival, check in at your hotel in Goa.Overnight at Hotel.

Badami has four rock-cut cave temples, the largest being the third cave dedicated to Vishnu. Overlooking the temples is a reservoir, its banks dotted with temples dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva. The Bhutanatha Temples and the Museum set up by the Archeological Survey of India, are the other attractions. The Menabasadis are carved in the mega rocks of Badami Hills.

The Badami Chalukyas bestowed cultural and religious tolerance which made the Jain,Buddha, Vaishnava and Shaiva Monks and scholars visited and resided in Badami. Instead of residing in the Palace, they opted Cave temples which were situated amidst nature,a suitable place for their holy service. The Cave temples are evidently rich in Architecture which depicts the rock cut skill and technology of the period. They were the initial modeled temples and independently built termed as earlier styled or infant models. They provided a blue print to the later built similar model temples in and around Southern India and helped to develop and sharpen the skill.

Belgaum is located in the foothills of the Western Ghats, it enjoys a cool, salubrious climate and is surrounded by natural beauty in the form of rivers, hills and dense evergreen forests. In the vicinity there are popular  historical sites, temples and churches exist in and around the city, most notably the Kamala Basti fort, Kapileshwar temple (South Kashi), kittur fort, Suvarna soudha etc.

For some voyagers, Kerala is South India’s most peaceful state. A thin seaside strip is formed by its layered scene: relatively 600km of heavenly Arabian Sea drift and shorelines; a drowsy system of flickering backwaters; and the flavour and tea-secured slopes of the Western Ghats. Simply setting foot on this swath of soul-extinguishing, palm-shaded green will ease the wanderer in you. Kerala is a world far from the furore of somewhere else. Come and experience divinity with us in God’s own country.

If you wish to travel to Kerala from Karnataka then there are things you should know. Read on…

1. Best time to book Kerala Tour Packages from Karnataka:

Though Karnataka and Kerala share the borders, the weather that persist in these two states are very different from each other. While Karnataka experiences a much cooler climate, Kerala is slightly humid due to the presence of majestic Arabian Sea.

Hence, the best time to book Kerala Tour Packages from Karnataka is during the winter season. You can escape the chill of Karnataka and instead spend the season by the beach in Kerala.

The climate in Kerala can be part into three seasons:

  • The dry season from December to February, which likewise checks crest traveller season
  • The sweltering, muggy summer season from March as far as possible of May. Plan to sweat!
  • Monsoon season (southwest and upper east rainstorm) from the end of May as far as possible of November, which is punctuated by discontinuous, substantial rain.

Now, book a private train from Kerala

K OCHI: In a first, private trains will be available for tourists from Kerala to destinations such as Goa, Mumbai and Ayodhya. To begin with, the private train journey from the state to Goa will begin next month.

The facility is being launched by SRMPR Global Railways, a Chennai-based tour operator, in partnership with the Kochi-based Princy World Travel Limited.

An individual or a group of 600 passengers can book a private train journey to the three prominent destinations from Kerala, said officials.

The inaugural journey is set to depart from Thiruvananthapuram on June 4 to Madgaon in Goa. The four-day tour package is available in three categories: 2-tier AC at Rs 16,400 per person, 3-tier AC at Rs 15,150 per person and non-AC sleeper at Rs 13,999. The package includes stay, food and sightseeing. Services like off-board travel and excursions by buses, stay at hotels, tour guides, meals and travel insurance are provided along with these train journeys and allied onboard services.

Though the Indian Railways introduced the concept of private players operating tourist trains on theme-based circuits under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains around a couple of years back, this is the first time that a private company is getting into this segment from Kerala.

Earlier, such private train tours were launched from states such as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. For instance, the government of Karnataka in association with IRCTC operates private trains to Kashi Prayag, Gaya and Ayodhya. Similarly, private trains are operated between Coimbatore and Shirdi.

Plan to import private trains from Germany

According to officials of Princy Tours, the trains are purchased by SRMPR from the Indian Railways to operate exclusively for tourism purposes. “From Kerala, there are mainly three tour packages — Thiruvananthapuram to Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram to Goa (four-day package) and Thiruvananthapuram to Ayodhya (eight-day package),” said Devika Menon, director of Princy World Travel Ltd.

“Plans are on to operate around 12 trains from Kerala. Once the initial three routes gain maximum traction, new routes will be introduced,” she said. “This train is being introduced on a trial basis. The SRMPR group will import special trains from Germany to run them privately. Hopefully, the trains will arrive by this year's end,” she said. “The trains have limited stops and only those who have booked the tickets can enter the train. A total of 60 staff, including the paramedical team and pantry are available onboard,” said Devika Menon. The train is equipped with CCTV cameras and WiFi.

As per the initial plan, the tourist train will operate to the specific destinations with a week’s gap. “We have received the slots to operate from June to September. The dates for Mumbai and Ayodhya will be released soon,” she said.

The trains will have boarding from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod from Kerala.
