Abubakar covers Tech on Beebom. Hailing from a Computer Science background, the start of his love for Tech dates back to 2011, when he was gifted a Dell Inspiron 5100. When he's not covering Tech, you'll find him binge-watching anime and Tech content on YouTube, hunting heads in competitive FPS games, or exploring Teyvat in Genshin Impact. He has previously worked for leading publications such as Fossbytes, How-To Geek, and Android Police.

Amazing article, Give this type of content more!!!

Some complex topics.

The Vsauce YouTube channel is an incredibly popular and successful channel (with several spinoff channels) that has attracted over 15 million subscribers. The Useless Web

Funny and simple.

Very basic.

Hit or miss results.

Need a little something more entertaining? The Useless Web is a website that's somewhat similar, except that its only goal is to show you the most pointless websites that exist on the internet. Just click the big pink button to discover one, and it will automatically open in a new tab.

You can even submit one of your own using the link at the bottom if you want.

Thousands of GIFs.

Easy to find trending and new images.

Search can be glitchy.

Do you like animated GIFs? You know, those images without sound that move for a few seconds and then start all over again? If you do, you'll love Giphy.

The Oatmeal

Engaging quizzes and comics.

Quirky content.

Not all content is family-friendly.

Some content is repetitive.

Created by Matthew Inman a.k.a. “The Oatmeal,” his popular humor website caters to the avid comic lover and quiz taker. His wacky drawings are mainly based on relatable life situations, education, and crazy stories that would never be possible in real life.

Some of the jokes are a little harsh but all are pretty darn funny.

Shareable content.

Often considered click-bait.

Lots of similar listicles to sift through.

Surely you've heard of BuzzFeed by now. It's only one of the most popular sites online for everything that's viral, newsworthy and even pointless.

Unique comics.

Fun comic generator.

Limited content.

If webcomics are your thing, then you have to be familiar with Cyanide and Happiness—one of the most popular and funniest webcomics out there.

Keep in mind there's a lot of adult content.

"Subreddits" for nearly every topic.

Topical and trending content.

Some content not suitable for work.

Learning curve involved.

Reddit is referred to as "the front page of the internet." It's a community board split up into sections of categories or interests. Users submit links to articles, photos or videos they think are worth sharing, and anyone can upvote them or downvote them .

The most upvoted links get pushed to the top. If StumbleUpon wasn't your thing, Reddit may be a good alternative.

Easy to browse.

Comments can be rude.

Can be buggy.

9GAG is sort of like a visual version of Reddit. It's a community-driven hub for visual content where members of the community upvote and downvote posts so that the best content gets pushed to the top.

Explore the different sections on this site and prepare to have your mind blown! You can also create your own account and start engaging with the community but upvoting what you like, downvoting what you don't like, commenting on posts and even uploading your own content.

Hyperbole and a Half

Engaging appearance.

New content no longer added.

Some content is lengthy.

Hyperbole and a Half is a Blogger blog that was created by Allie Brosh, a young woman with a talent for telling her left story through detailed Microsoft Paint drawings. She says her blog is not really a webcomic, but it’s not really a blog either.

Whatever it is, it’s a wonderfully colorful and comedic site to browse through. If you love whimsical drawings of dogs, rainbows and other things, then you're bound to really fall in love with this one.

Funny and informative

New, timely content added often.

Great deal of political content.

Some content isn't safe for work or children.

According to the site's slogan, Cracked is “America’s Only Humor Site Since 1958.” Cracked is famous for its timeless list posts. Columnists and contributing writers craft witty, funny articles on topics ranging from history to TV & movies to internet tech.

It has a hilariously creative video section as well. Although it's a bit less reliant on visual content compared to some of the other sites on this list, the articles on Cracked are well worth reading and sharing again and again.

Mostly harmless fun.

Great deal of unique content.

Can be difficult to navigate.

The FAIL blog has been around for much longer than a lot of these other sites have, and thanks to its great content, it's still going strong. Part of the I Can Has Cheezburger network, Fail Blog is a site that is most known for its humorous pictures depicting disastrous and often stupid situations.

All photos have the caption “FAIL” included somewhere on the photo. Fail Blog incorporates video into their site in addition to photos.

Autocorrect Fail

Funny fails.

No longer adding new content.

Some content not family-friendly.

If you own a smartphone, you’ve probably had to deal with an extra text or two explaining an accidental word change as a result of your phone’s auto correction.

Autocorrect Fail features tons of funny texts between people who experience all the communication problems that come with auto correct on a mobile device. You might be surprised to discover what kinds of words accidentally pop up after you turn on autocorrect on your mobile device .

Awkward Family Photos

Cringe-worthy humor.

Suitable for work or family.

No way to tell when content was posted.

Clunky navigation.

Almost everyone has an old photo from back in the day that is just too embarrassing to look at now. It seems as though families all over the world are all flocking to Awkward Family Photos to submit their hilarious and retro photos there.

From terrible hairdos and outfits to costume-themed family portraits, it’s no surprise that this site is such a huge hit on the internet. Submit your own awkward family photo and see if it pops on the site eventually!

18 Fun Websites to Instantly Beat Boredom Online

Feeling downcast and bored? There's a lot to do online! Check out these fun websites and cure your boredom now.

Were you looking for websites to go to when bored? Don't let boredom get boring. Even Steve Jobs was a fan of boredom. He believed that boredom allowed room for creativity. But, of course, we all know how that turned out.

Even science says boredom is good for the brain. So, trust the boffins and take on boredom with these fun websites.

1. 100,000 Stars

Open this interactive visualization in the Chrome browser and cure your boredom with a trip through space. The artistic rendition maps the location of over 100,000 nearby stars and our solar system.

The Chrome experiment isn't for astronomy buffs alone, as it gives everyone an idea of the universe around us.

Bonus: If you love interstellar travel with your browser, visit The Map of the Universe to look into the observable universe (almost 200,000 galaxies) out there.

2. History Maps

This educational site is enough proof that you can beat boredom with learning. History may have been boring in school, but not today. History Maps uses interactive maps, YouTube videos, and a Timeline game to teach you visually history. Learn about the origins of different civilizations and events that shaped our world.

The site is the creation of Nono Umas, who combines his love for history and its stories. There's no end to learning about history, so keep visiting as the site evolves with new resources.

3. Museum of Endangered Sounds

Want a dose of serious nostalgia? Maybe a dial-up modem's sound will do it for you, or the dial of a rotary phone. The Museum of Nostalgia will send you back in time. The single-person effort from Brendan Chilcutt aims to preserve the signature sounds of old technologies.

4. A Good Movie to Watch

A good movie is an obvious thing to do online when bored. But the sheer number of options can feel overwhelming. This fun website is a movie recommendation engine with a difference.

It will only filter movies with a viewer score higher than 70% (e.g., 7/10 on IMDb) and a critic score higher than 70% (e.g., on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic). So, you get to see a selection of the best films that stand above the clutter.

5. Talk to Books

There's a lot of talk about Google Bard, but the internet company isn't a latecomer to Al. Many Google apps use deep learning and artificial intelligence daily. Talk to Books is another example. The unique search engine for book quotes uses AI input to surface ideas from books and look up answers to your questions. You can type your queries, though voice works better as the demo tool is designed for conversational AI.

It's an excellent way to gain wisdom from the millions of books indexed by Googl, and the books themselves.

6. NSA Haiku Generator

The National Security Agency isn't one of the places to go when bored. So you wouldn't connect the NSA and poetry even within a few words of each other. But this automatic haiku generator manages to pull it off. So, stoke your wildest imagination with weird mashups of beautiful syllables.

The source of the random words is the NSA's database of search terms used to red flag terrorist threats.

7. Sketch Something Daily

Creativity is the magic pill to zap boredom. Sketch Something Daily is one of the artistic things to do online when bored. So, pick up a pencil, pen, or even a paintbrush, and test yourself with the daily illustrations on the site.

Try it as a daily habit and stifle the yawns as you interest yourself enough to learn the basics of drawing with the help of other sites on the web.

8. Cloudhiker

Remember StumbleUpon? The makers shuttered the popular site, but several StumbleUpon alternatives rose in its wake. Cloudhiker works on the same principles of random discovery, making it a useful website to go on when you are bored.

The links are carefully curated, and there are at least 7500+ sites in 19 categories as of the last count. For instant random discoveries, try their browser extension too.

9. 2 Kinds of People

Another humorous Tumblr blog. Another dosage of laughter. The site hasn't been updated in a while, but it is still worth visiting. The simple illustrations show that only two kinds of people exist in the world. Those that have a sense of humor and the rest who don't.

If you fall into the former, then you will have cured your boredom. If not, read on.

10. The Evolution of Trust

Mistrust is as deadly as misinformation. And both have been part of our human experience for a long time. This interactive game uses game theory to simplify the problem of mistrust for us.

Game theory is a complex subject, so the visualization uses a "cheating" mode and a "cooperation" mode to reveal the neuroscience of mistrust. If you have time to spare, try this fun link when you are bored.

11. Gross Science

YouTube alone can give you enough things to do on the internet. So, I am cheating by mentioning the Gross Science channel. But I couldn't help myself as I got pulled in by all the bizarre but scientific videos.

So, find out about clothes made of slime. Or why your pee can change the world. As I said, I couldn't help myself.

12. Innovation Station

While we are on science and videos, could I also mention Innovation Station? This is a little-known but fantastic website to go to when you're bored. It showcases the latest videos on innovation and futuristic technologies.

It is an excellent learning platform. Their charter says, "We aim to inspire and educate by putting innovations and innovators in the spotlight."

13. Weird or Confusing

Wonder how unicorn meat tastes. This site will make you wonder about things like that. Press the button, and it will beam you into the crazy aisles of eBay and its shopping universe, where everything can be sold.

Well, it's not all useless. That inflatable unicorn horn for cats sounds like a better deal than unicorn meat. Just hope it's not a new eBay scam. Sometimes, you will hit a page without any funny eBay product. Just click on that pink Please button again.

14. The Symphony of Blockchain

Visuals can help you understand even the most complex of technologies. Blockchain and cryptocurrency are all the rage now. The Symphony of Blockchain takes you on an interactive, visual, and auditory exploration of what it's all about. It's a way to mix online fun with a dose of education.

Try it. It's wonderfully hypnotic as the 3D Bitcoin blocks move and expand against the music background. Click on each block, and it opens to give you more information.

15. The Passive Aggressive Password Machine

Let's not underrate the value of a strong password in keeping the world safe. The PaP Machine is a neat little side project that can quickly bring you out of your boredom with its funny and honest feedback on the strength of your passwords.

16. Arbitrary Awards

Did you know that most awards are paid for? Well, if you didn't, then that's what this site tells you. The developers here made their own awards and gave you a platform to gift yourself one with the many choices available.

You deserve an award if you have scrolled so far down the page. And, if we managed to cure your boredom, we deserve one too. So, just a friendly word in the comments will do for now.

17. What Came First

The head of a skeleton with a burning cigarette or Neil Armstrong's trip to space? This fun game asks you to guess which came first. The simple premise could be your gateway to knowledge and help you use your boredom creatively .

The Google Experiment offers you two choices, and you must select the one which chronologically came before the other. The faster you play, the more you score.

18. Redditle

You won't get bored easily if you land on Reddit. One of the world's largest communities has a subreddit on every topic imaginable. One of the better ways to dive deeper is through this Reddit search engine. Redditle can be used for broader searches or for searching a specific subreddit.

Try "boredom + fun website" to get even more recommendations from the community.

There Are Many More Fun Things to Do Online

Instead of trying to zap it away, you might light up a spark of motivation.

Boredom should be anything but boring. Sounds ironic, doesn't it, when you consider that you can pick up something to do with a mouse click.

There's a lot of content out there about productivity - everything from hacks to shortcuts to tips and tricks for how to get more done in less time.

But what about those times when you're bored? Well, there is no shortage of websites to cure your boredom.

Here's a shortlist of the most wonderfully entertaining places to waste time on the internet outside of email and social media.

Fun Websites

In early 2022, people’s timelines on social media – particularly Twitter – started filling with green, yellow, and black squares.

It seemed like everyone was playing a game called Wordle – a game where you have six chances to guess the five-letter word of the day.

If you love the concept of Wordle but wish there was a musical version, you’re in luck.

website to cure boredom: heardle

Heardle emerged shortly after Wordle blew up for music lovers and connoisseurs alike. It works by playing a short snippet of a song and giving you six tries to guess the right song.

It’s another great game to play when you have some extra time on your hands.

3. GeoGuesser

Ever wish you could take a trip around the world in a day or less? With GeoGuesser, you can.

This fun game tests your geography by showing you a randomized place around the world and having you guess where it is.

website to cure boredom: geoguesser

The Oatmeal is another one of my absolute favorite places to spend time online. It's a huge library of awesome content – specifically graphics. Even if you've read everything already, it's the kind of stuff you can read over and over again.

Some of my favorite posts include:

  • Babies vs. Cats
  • Ten Words You Need to Stop Misspelling

6. Supercook

If you want to surf the internet in a semi-productive way – but not so productive that you actually have to leave the house – then check out Supercook.

supercook website to cure boredom

Here's how it works: You tell it which ingredients you have in stock in your home, and it'll give you a big list of recipes you can make using just those ingredients.

It's a fun way to stay thrifty, clean out the fridge, and make sure food doesn't go to waste.

7. OCEARCH Shark Tracker

When you need to find the perfect GIF, you can't just stop at the first result you get for "dancing" or "awkward" or "animals being jerks."

I could spend (... and have spent) hours on Giphy looking for juuust the right GIF.

10 . Wayback Machine

wayback machine website to cure boredom

Feeling nostalgic? Check out what websites have looked like over the years via Internet Archive's famous Wayback Machine. It lets you pick a date and see exactly what any website looked like at that time. (For a real trip, compare how Facebook looked back in the 2000s to today. Remember the wall-to-wall?)

If you just want to take a quick peek, check out this roundup of what nine famous websites used to look like.

All the images in that post were taken from the Wayback Machine.

Cool Websites

11. apartment therapy.

Apartment Therapy website header

Plus, they have a whole lot of helpful articles giving tips on everything from how to redo your stairs to ideas for using that awkward space above your fridge. There's no shortage of useful and fun information on here, making it prime for endless browsing.

One of our own was recently featured on ApartmentTherapy too -- check out INBOUND Elijah's adorable spot here .

imgur.png

Imgur collects the most viral images of the week and collects them all in one place for your mindless scrolling and enjoyment.

What I like about Imgur is it's usually more timely than Twitter or Instagram — more popular sharing networks where funny pictures and memes might appear a week or two later.

Use Imgur to waste time and introduce your friends to the funniest stuff on the internet first.

13. Gravity Points

Website header for Gravity Points, one of the best websites for wasting time on the internet

The more gravity centers you plot, the more these forces will start to compete, making your screen all the more chaotic. And yes, your gravity points can absorb one another to create a black hole.

It's outer space right there on your computer screen.

14. Pottermore

websites to visit for fun

If you're into great (and hilarious) fiction writing, then you'll definitely want to bookmark this site. Every day, writers Nicole Cliffe and Mallory Ortberg publish a post on "everything from literary characters that never were to female pickpockets of Gold Rush-era San Francisco," reads their About page .

To get an idea of whether it's up your alley, start with their post, " A Day in the Life of Seth MacFarlane, Human Male (Definitely Not a Swarm of Hyper-Alert Bees and a Metal Jaw.) "

It's just so good.

16. The Onion

the onion website to cure boredom

If you haven't spent some quality time reading the online satirical newspaper The Onion, then you're seriously missing out on a good laugh.

The publication started in 1988 and they've managed to successfully maintain a high standard for humor and writing ever since.

Their headlines are laugh-out-loud funny in and of themselves — from " Free-Thinking Cat Sh**s Outside the Box " to " Archaeological Dig Uncovers Ancient Race of Skeleton People " to " Buyer Of $450 Million Da Vinci Painting Sort Of Assumed It Would Come With Frame ."

This awesome episode of NPR's This American Life gives you a really cool peek into The Onion 's editorial process.

17. Cracked

cracked-magazine

Mental Floss is a super addicting online magazine with articles covering a really wide range of topics. Their articles are really well written and researched, and usually on topics that don't get a lot of airtime.

For example, in their "Big Questions" section, they tackle weirdly intriguing questions like why shells sound like the ocean and why yawns are contagious . Readers can even submit their own big questions.

19. HowStuffWorks

informative websites: How stuff works

This website is dedicated entirely to —you guessed it — how things work. And by "things," they mean everything: from airbags to regenerative medicine to velocipede carousels.

They've covered so much on this website, it'll be hard to run out of things to read about.

Plus, they have a whole bunch of really cool podcasts that have branched off the main site over the years and are worth checking out.

My favorites are " Stuff You Should Know ," " BrainStuff ," and " Stuff Mom Never Told You ."

20. Lifehacker

Lifehacker is a hub of productivity tips, tricks, and downloads. It's basically an archive of all the information it would be incredibly useful to know, but nobody ever really teaches you.

lifehacker website to cure boredom

Aside from productivity, they also cover topics such as money-saving tips, clever uses for household items, and so on.

For example, did you know there are four lengths of naps that'll benefit you in different, very specific ways? Along with the fun articles, they have some pretty awesome, in-depth articles, like this one on how to plant ideas in someone's mind , as well as helpful listicles like the top ten obscure Google Search tricks .

websites to visit for fun

The internet is a vast, endless source of content, with hundreds of thousands of fun, interesting, and useful websites popping up every single day.

In theory, you could never get bored with everything that’s available. And yet, we’ve all been there. A blank look on your face, hands on your laptop keyboard not knowing what URL to type, scrolling through your various social media feeds to see if anything interesting is trending.

Maybe you’re procrastinating to avoid some long-overdue task. Or you’re killing time before an important Zoom meeting. Or perhaps you’re just looking for a way to relax and unwind after a long day at work, and streaming Netflix or browsing Amazon just won’t cut it.

Whatever the case, there are plenty of entertaining and engaging websites out there that can help alleviate your boredom and provide hours of fun. Here are 15 of our favorite fun websites to visit when you're bored online.

From online puzzles and quizzes to wikis that go deep into pop culture lore, these time-wasting websites are a great way to whittle away the hours.

Jurassic Systems

Few movies have made as profound an impact on pop culture as Steven Spielberg’s seminal 1993 dino-romp Jurassic Park. The epic adventure spawned a long-running film franchise (including one of 2022’s biggest pictures), and references from the original film are part of the language of millennial culture.

In the movie, there’s a sequence where Samuel L. Jackson’s character Ray Arnold attempts to hack Dennis Nedry’s computer system. With Jurassic Systems, you’re able to roleplay as Ray Arnold as you try to break into the extremely 90s computer system.

This website is a good bit of fun, delivering a healthy dose of nostalgia to your day. And while you try to figure out how to access the main program grid, remember to say the magic word — otherwise you’ll get the dreaded animation of Dennis wagging his finger at you.

TV Tropes is a website that catalogs and describes various conventions and devices (or “tropes”) found within creative works such as novels, movies, comics, and television shows. If you’ve ever thought “why do so many TV shows have this plot point in common?” you’ll find a lot of value in the analysis from this site.

TV Tropes includes a wide variety of trope examples, including plot devices, character archetypes, themes, and much more. And they tend to get extremely specific. For instance, have you heard of “Flanderization?” It’s when one personality trait of a TV character gets more and more pronounced as the show goes on, to the point where it seems to become the one and only defining trait. It’s named after the character Ned Flanders, from The Simpsons.

Once you’re hooked, you’ll find yourself spending a lot of your free time reading various entries on TV Tropes. It’s both fun and illuminating!

Radio Garden

If you’ve ever wondered what the radio sounds like in Paris, Buenos Aires, or Beirut, this is the website for you. Radio Garden greets you with a three-dimensional globe that you can rotate with your pointer, and once you select a location, the site’s built-in radio player will immediately play a live radio feed from the area you’ve selected. It’s intriguing, and something you could easily spend hours poking around in.

The site is a non-profit Dutch radio and digital research project developed by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, the Transnational Radio Knowledge Platform, and five European universities. And you won’t just find music — Radio Garden also showcases talk radio, podcasts, live comedy, and various odd feeds that make the project that much more fascinating.

Find the Invisible Cow

Find the Invisible Cow is a simple web-based game where players have to find an invisible cow hidden on the webpage. It’s sort of like "Marco Polo" — you’re guided by audio that goes from a soft murmur to a loud scream, getting louder as you approach the invisible cow.

When you find the cow, it’ll appear and make a mooing sound. The game is timed, and the player's score is based on how fast they can find the invisible cow. Once you find the cow 5 times, the game lets you find a goat. You’ll have to find the goat about 45 more times before you get to the final animal — so you might be here awhile.

Find the Invisible Cow is free to play and can be accessed through any web browser. It is a simple and entertaining game that’ll help pass the time, and is the perfect break from work.

Boohbah Zone

The Boohbah Zone is one of the strangest places on the Internet. It’s a simple interactive website which allows users to play a series of bizarre, surreal mini-games. These involve fun things like picking up apples at an orchard, helping a dog reach a beach ball hanging from the ceiling, and controlling the dancing of the “Boohbahs,” a group of plump, fuzzy, gumdrop-shaped creatures.

Sure, it may be a bit of a useless website , but the Boohbah zone is delightfully bizarre and genuinely fun. Boohbah was originally a British TV show aimed at toddlers, made by the same team that created the Teletubbies. Even though Boohbah and the Boohbah Zone may be geared towards young children, its unique brand of strangeness is compelling to any person of any age.

Weglot Like Magic!

Weglot Like Magic is an ingenious and engaging mini-game created by our friends at Refokus . Weglot is a service that provides a fast, reliable, SEO-friendly way to make websites multilingual. It’s very straightforward, with no code required and automatic detection and translation of content through the use of neural machine translation providers.

Weglot Like Magic! takes the “magic” aspect of Weglot’s services to the next level, providing an engaging experience for visitors. The website challenges users to find the meaning of the seven words displayed in different languages on the screen, using a flashlight to reveal clues hidden in the dark. It’s timed, allowing users to compete for the best score.

If you’re a fan of language, translation, and magic, you’ll find Weglot Like Magic! to be a fun challenge.

Picture this. You wake up in the middle of a field somewhere. You don’t know exactly where you are or how you got there. It doesn’t quite look like you’re in your town anymore – or even in your own country. You start to roam around looking for clues. You find some street signs, notice some unique details in your vicinity, and start to apply all your knowledge to figure out just where in the world you are.

That’s basically the Geoguessr experience. It’s a web-based game in which players are dropped into a randomly generated location on Google Street View and must guess where in the world they are based on the surrounding scenery. The game is based on the Google Maps API and includes locations from all over the world. When you make your guess, you get a point score based on how far from the actual answer your guess was.

Players can play in single-player mode or compete against others online. The game is free to play, but players can purchase additional features such as custom map options and the ability to save and share their guesses. It’s a lot of fun, and definitely something you can spend several hours getting lost in.

If you’re not only looking to be entertained but also to relax a bit, Letter Run is the online experience for you. With its pleasing animation and tranquil music, there’s something oddly soothing about this little website.

Letter Run is an interactive 3D scavenger hunt video game that is built on exploration — allowing users to roam through Edgar Allan’s magical clubhouse, follow the clues provided, collect items, and interact with the environment. It’s also a very relaxing, gentle gaming experience that’ll put you in a chill, happy mindset if you’re stressed or burnt out.

Asteroids Clone

Sometimes the best websites are the simplest. This recreation of the arcade game Asteroids is an excellent time-waster.

All you have to do is defend your space station from all of the asteroids that are hurtling towards you. That’s it! Just point and click. It’s a fun and simple game that can provide hours of entertainment.

Back in 2020, millions of people around the world had to figure out how to spend all the time they suddenly had on their hands. We were all home, bored, and worried about the future. Thankfully, Wordle was there to help us out of our funk.

Wordle is a daily web-based word game created by Josh Wardle, and is now owned by the New York Times. The website gives players six attempts to guess a five-letter word, with each wrong guess providing clues to the actual word. Wordle has a new word every day, and all players have the same word to guess.

While its popularity has decreased somewhat since its peak, Wordle is still going. It boasts an active and engaged user community who share their daily results and discuss each daily word. It’s a good, quick way to take a break and indulge in a brain teaser.

Mental Floss

If you’ve spent a good chunk of your life online, chances are you’ve come across some content from Mental Floss, one of the most popular websites on the internet. With 20.5 million unique users every month, Mental Floss is a staple of the internet experience.

Mental Floss is a website that’s all about knowledge and is aimed at providing its readers with a unique, offbeat approach to learning. The website covers a wide range of subjects, including science, history, music, language, and pop culture. The website also features quizzes (better than the ones you’ll find at Buzzfeed), videos, DIY projects, reviews of cool new gadgets, and other interactive features.

₮ⱧɆ Ɇ₦Đ Survival game

What if instead of sitting around bored, you were in the middle of a survival adventure? THE END whisks you away from your real-life boredom and puts you right at the center of a fight for your own survival, as you try your best to get home safe.

THE END is a modern spin on the classic text-based adventure games, where each choice you make sends you on a different path with radically different outcomes. Avoid the various dangers that lurk in the shadows and see if you can make it to the end unscathed!

Flappy Bird v2

Remember Flappy Bird —the viral sensation that captured the internet’s attention several years ago? The concept was simple, players had to control a cute little bird as it flew through a series of pipes by tapping the screen to make the bird fly. Android and iOS users were hooked.

Because of the game’s mechanics, Flappy Bird became an extremely popular (and extremely frustrating) game. Its gameplay was simple, but challenging, and its 8-bit look held a lot of nostalgic appeal. And the fact that the game was only around for a brief period of time before being taken down by its developer only added to the mystique around it.

Flappy Bird v2 is a web-based unofficial sequel to the original game, following the game’s odd sense of physics, its thrillingly challenging nature, and its wonderful simplicity. All you have to do is control the new bird with your space bar. Before you know it, you’ll be on your 48th attempt of the day, and people around you will start to wonder why you’ve been tapping at your space bar for 5 hours.

Know Your Meme

The world of memes moves at a terrifyingly rapid pace. And as we all know, if you stop paying attention for a minute, current memes will suddenly make no sense to you. Thankfully, websites like Know Your Meme are here to help us out.

Know Your Meme is a wiki style resource that attempts to document various internet memes as well as viral videos, image macros, gifs , catchphrases, the internet’s “main character of the day,” and more. It seeks to explain the context around the creation of each meme, as well as how they started to mutate and transform over time.

Know Your Meme not only categorizes and explains memes, it also gathers examples of each one, which is extremely helpful when trying to understand their relevance and usage. In fact, we relied on it for some history of reCAPTCHA memes .

Type Racer Game

Type Racer is a fun little game that will have you tapping away at your keyboard faster than you ever thought possible. There’s something about seeing how your typing skills are measured in real time that motivates you to try even harder and go even faster.

Unlike some of the other sites on this list, this isn’t a useless website at all. It’s great for improving your typing skills with the included practice exercises.

Exactly Why do you Need a Fun Website That Wastes Your Time?

why do you need a fun website that wastes your time

If we’re bored & have nothing productive to do, we seek ways to fill the time. Fun websites come to our rescue here, especially in times of global lockdown when we were left with only work-from-home possibilities.

A good time management skill might allow you to spend twenty minutes or a half hour just exploring. My work habits & tell me that exploring is more effective for me when I’m inspired when I see something interesting that will help me grow, even if I’m in the middle of another task. To avoid getting distracted, I’ve allowed myself to be distracted (unless I’ve set aside a block of time to work on a specific task). It’s not all the time, but enough to help me grow. Finding the right balance between executing and experimenting is key.

How Profitable Are Such Time-Wasting Websites in 2023?

Without a doubt! People look for breaks that will make them more productive while working constantly. In consequence of repetitive scrolling and stuff, checking social media accounts, emails, and so on will again bore them.

It’s for this reason that people usually look for more entertaining and fun ways to treat themselves during work breaks. There are a lot of time-wasting websites out there that are so popular that even visitors enjoy surfing them for hours.

As a result, such fun websites would be profitable.

How Much Does It Cost To Develop Such Funny Websites in 2023?

How Much Does It Cost To Develop Such Funny Websites
