Following his triumphant headline set at TRNSMT Festival over the weekend, the Scottish singer-songwriter will return to his home turf to play four dates at the Glasgow OVO Hydro as part of his Last Night In The Bittersweet tour.

He'll be touring in support of his new album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’

Paolo Nutini has announced details of a new UK and European tour – get your tickets here and see the full list of dates below.

The Scottish artist returned last week with two new songs and news of his fourth studio album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ , the follow-up to 2014’s  ‘Caustic Love’ .

Nutini has now announced a UK and European tour in support of the LP, with a pair of live dates in Ireland in August joining a run of dates that run from September through to November.

The tour will visit the UK from October 22-November 1, with gigs in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Hull, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Fans who pre-order ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’ by 3pm on Monday (May 23) will receive exclusive access to a pre-sale for tour tickets, which opens at 9am on Tuesday (May 24). All remaining tickets will then go on general sale here from 9am on May 25.

Just recently the Scottish sensation paid a visit to a popular Glasgow restaurant - and he even found the time to pose for a snap.

Greek restaurant Halloumi in the city's Southside hosted the special guest, explaining on social media the surprise was "what mezze loving dreams are made of".

On December 13 (Tuesday) BROCKHOFF will take to the stage to support the Paisley singer meanwhile on December 14 (Wednesday) it will be Lizzie Reid followed by Joesef on December 16 (Friday).

New Dad will also be supporting Paolo on tour with them taking to centre stage across the final two dates of December 18 (Sunday) and December 20 (Tuesday).

Paolo Nutini at Malahide Castle: Everything to know from stage times, support acts, and setlist

P aolo Nutini is set to play Malahide Castle on Friday night with thousands of Irish fans expected to flock to the well-known venue.

The Scottish singer-songwriter, 36, announced last year that he would play a massive outdoor gig in Dublin on Friday, 16 June. His most popular songs include 'Candy' and 'Last Request.'

Nutini's latest gig in Dublin follows his #1 album “Last Night In The Bittersweet” which was released in 2022.

If you're heading to Paolo Nutini's gig on Friday, here's everything you need to know from how to get to Malahide Castle, stage times, set list, weather and more.

How to get to Malahide Castle

Gardai and concert promoters MCD are urging those attending Friday's concert to use public transport to get to Malahide Castle if possible. If you're thinking about travelling by Dublin Bus, there's two services that go straight to Malahide.

The routes 32 and 42 go from the city centre up to Malahide Village. Meanwhile, if you'd prefer a private coach Marathon Coaches is offering its services for €20. This bus service will drop and pick up concertgoers at the Yellow Walls Rd Entrance / Exit and directly opposite St Sylvester's Catholic Church.

The bus service will start returning from Malahide Castle from 10:30pm, and the final bus of the night leaves at 11:30pm outside the venue. For those who prefer taking the DART , there's nearby Malahide Train Station.

It is then a 15-minute walk to Malahide Castle, and other city centre DART locations include Grand Canal Dock, Pearse, Tara Street and Connolly Stations.

What time do gates open at Malahide Castle?

For the Paolo Nutini gig on Friday, MCD has confirmed that gates will open at 5pm and showtime is expected to get underway from 6pm. Concert promoters MCD are urging ticket holders to arrive "in good time" and to avoid queuing too early.

Stage times and support acts

The support on Friday night at Malahide Castle will be from Julia Jacklin & NEWDAD. Irish indie rock band NEWDAD are likely to be the first to perform from 6pm, followed up by Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin at around 7:5pm. Paolo Nutini is expected to take to the stage at Malahide Castle for around 8:30pm.

The 'Candy' hitmaker is currently on a world tour, and he's kept his setlist mostly the same. Here's what songs his fans at Malahide Castle can expect to hear on the night:

Banned items at Malahide Castle

There are a list of banned items that ticketholders can't bring into Malahide Castle for the Paolo Nutini gig on Friday. The full list of prohibited items are:

• Bags over A4 size
• Garden furniture like deckchairs, fold up chairs etc
• Selfie sticks
• Flares/fire works
• Smoke and gas canisters
• Drones and professional cameras

Other important things to know

MCD and Malahide Castle has said that ticketholders are not allowed to bring alcohol or drinks into the park or venue, although water and soft drinks are allowed they must be in plastic bottles up 500ml. There are also water drinking water points onsite, as well as bins.

Some food venues at Malahide Castle will take card payments. Meanwhile, all venue bars will have contactless card payment facilities on the night.

All Under 16’s attending the gig must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the gig. Anyone aged under 16 who is unattended will be removed from the gig.

According to Met Eireann , Friday is likely to not be as warm as previous days this week. The national forecaster has predicted "heavy and persistent showers" will spread northwards to most areas through the day.

There's also a chance of isolated thunderstorms, so it's best that people attending this outdoor gig pack themselves a rain coat just to to be prepared. possible. Top temperatures will range from 19 degrees to 22 degrees.

Fantastic. A smaller venue is definitely best. He wowed the crowed and gave his best. All for a grest cause we all knew why we there.. he did not keep going on expecting praise for giving his time but paid his due respect for Beverlea abd to her lovley son who he brought on stage at the end his acustic version of last respect was one to remember for ever. Brilliant man and performer. Nit forgetting his band members who also gave it there all.

Despite the fact that his support act, Grace Jones, was over 20 minutes late, Paolo materialised on stage just in time. I was only able to stay for about half of the gig because my friend was ill but what I heard of him made me wish I could have seen it all. The passion in his voice when he sings, particularly to his home country, sends shivers up and down my spine. Just when you think you've heard "Better Man", he puts a whole new twist on it. One of my best gigs to date.

Paolo Nutini was incredible. The support acts were not altogether that brilliant: Grace Jones arrived very late and did not appeal to the younger half of the audience (myself included).

When Paolo arrived onstage I was pleased to see he was not at all worse for wear, as it had been so disappointing when he couldn't remember his own song lyrics at TitP last year. He was on top form all the way through the night, interacting with his native crowd as only a a Scot can.

I was disappointed not to hear 'Growing Up Beside You', but generally the set list was excellent.

Highlights included Iron Sky, with red flares adding to the performance. The fireworks at the end were a beautiful way to end, accompanying last request.

Paolo Nutini Announces 2023 North American Tour

In support of his latest album, Last Night in the Bittersweet

Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini has mapped out a 2023 North American tour in support of his fourth studio album, Last Night in the Bittersweet .

The 13-date outing begins in Toronto on March 5th and features stops in Brooklyn; Chicago; Washington, DC; and more before closing out in Los Angeles on March 24th. See the full itinerary below.

A Live Nation pre-sale (use code HEADLINE ) begins on Tuesday, November 15th at 10:00 a.m. local time. The general on-sale begins Friday, November 18th via Ticketmaster . Ahead of the North American tour, Nutini has a UK run scheduled for December; grab your seats here .

Released in July,  Last Night in the Bittersweet included the singles “Lose It” and “Through the Echoes.” It served as the follow-up to 2014’s Caustic Love, Last Night in the Bittersweet .

Paolo Nutini is set to make a return to Belfast with a headline show.

The Scottish singer-songwriter is performing at Custom House Square , Belfast on Thursday, August 25 and is set to return again next year after being announced as the first Belsonic 2023 gig.

The show is now sold-out.

After selling out his CHSq 2022 gig, the Scottish singer is one of the most in-demand artists this year. He will perform at Custom House Square on August 25.

Gates open at 6pm. Curfew is usually around 11pm but times will be posted on social media the day of the event.

Ahead of his sold-out dates in Dublin, Limerick and Belfast this week, world-renowned Scottish musician Paolo Nutini has announced some huge outdoor shows in Ireland next summer.

Spanning three counties in the same week, the news of a 2023 tour comes following the recent release, and success, of his fourth studio album, Last Night In The Bittersweet, a genre-spanning record that moves from classic rock to post-punk to hypnotic Krautrock.

Ahead of the ticket sales this week, Buzz put together a guide for the shows. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the 2023 Paolo Nutini Irish tour.

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the shows in Dublin and Cork are priced at €59.90 and will go on sale this Friday, 19 August at 10am via Ticketmaster . No prices have yet been announced for the Belfast show, however, tickets will be available at the same time.

Where will he play?

Paolo Nutini will play Musgrave Park, Cork on 14 June, Malahide Castle, Dublin on Friday 16 June and Belsonic, Belfast on Saturday 17 June. All of these venues are outdoor and we can't tell you if it will rain, but remember it's Ireland.

Support acts

Unfortunately for fans, Nutini has not yet announced who the support acts will be for his shows. The same act may follow him on his tour around the world, or he may opt for an Irish act to warm up the crowd, we will just have to wait.

While he might change it up for 2023, here is Nutini's 2022 setlist, and it is full of bangers.

Nutini and Ireland

The singer seems to have a special relationship with Ireland. Announcing another countrywide tour while your current, sold-out tour is still ongoing shows the Scotsman really cares about his Irish fans that missed out on the 2022 dates.

Nutini has returned to Ireland on several occasions over the years. In an interview with the singer ahead of a spate of shows several years ago, he expressed a great deal of fondness for Ireland.

“I've lots of good memories of playing over here. I remember flying over for Arthur's Day shows. I squeezed in four different sets. At that point, a real buzz started. I've since come back and recorded parts of the last two records in Grouse Lodge in Westmeath," he told the Irish Independent .

He added: “While I was doing them I could go out in Moate and Athlone and have a good laugh in the bars and meet really nice people. The vibes have always been very good and I've always had a lot of fun."
