Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has cancelled his Purpose World Tour without explanation.

“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months,” a statement from his tour representative said on Monday.

Justin Bieber

Beiber had been set to perform in Hong Kong this September 27, in addition to 13 other remaining dates across Asia and North America.

“He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates,” the statement said.

A source told  TMZ  that the 23-year-old heart throb was “just over it.”

His 150-show tour had grossed US$93.2 million (HK$727.57 million). Refund arrangements for Hong Kong ticket holders are, as yet, unclear.

The move comes days after he was banned from entering China due to “misconduct that caused public dissatisfaction.”

Justin Bieber's Justice World Tour 2022

Justin Bieber

Time Out says

It's confirmed: the world's mega popstar Justin Bieber is slated to bring his ongoing  Justice World Tour to Bangkok on November 6, 2022 at Rajamangala Stadium.

It's been over two years since Thailand last saw a massive-size live music event from an international star after the coronavirus outbreak hit the world. However, the musical draught is soon to be subsided with the arrival of the "Peaches" hitmaker in the capital later this year.

AEG Presents Asia and Live Nation Tero dropped a crytic video hinting at Bieber's concert on April 22, which broke the entire Internet and the Belieber fandom, and they have confirmed that the 28-year-old pop singer will finally return to the capital after nine years of his  Believe Tour  back in 2013.

The Justice World Tour is Bieber’s latest worldwide tour to promote his most recent albums Changes (2020) and Justice (2021), the latter of which garnered blockbuster hits like “Peaches” and “Hold On”.

Tickets are on sale from April 29, 2022 at 10:00 (local Thai time) with the price starting at B2,500 up to B16,500 for a VIP package via Thai Ticket Major .

Justin bieber’s tour dates have reportedly been cancelled following his announcement of an indefinite touring hiatus.

justin bieber world tour hong kong

2nd March 2023 – (Los Angeles) Justin Bieber’s tour dates have reportedly been cancelled following his announcement of an indefinite touring hiatus. Various fan sites and ticketing outlets have confirmed the cancellations, with all of his scheduled concerts, including those in the United States, Ireland, and France, marked as cancelled on Ticketmaster’s website.

Neither Bieber, who is currently 29 years old, nor his representatives have provided any official confirmation or reasons for the cancellations.

Last year, the superstar revealed that he was taking a break from performing after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a rare complication of shingles that resulted in partial facial paralysis for him. At the time, he stated that his health needed to be his priority.

“I need to make my health the priority right now,” he said. “I’m going to be okay, but I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of justice to the world.”

Bieber had dozens of performances scheduled across the globe through March 2023. Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a neurological disorder that can inflame and paralyze the facial nerve, causing a painful rash around the ear or mouth, as well as hearing loss.

In conclusion, it appears that Justin Bieber’s tour dates have been cancelled, although no official reason has been provided. We hope that the superstar is taking the necessary time to recover and prioritize his health.

Hold On: Justin Bieber will still continue with Justice World Tour in Asia

justin bieber world tour hong kong

Bieber fans in Asia better hold their peaches and not freak out yet, because as for now, the 28-year-old will still continue his Asia leg of the Justice World Tour despite recently announcing the suspension of the rest of his tour to focus on his health.

“We are aware that Justin Bieber has decided to take a break from touring and wish Justin a speedy recovery and admire his decision to put his health first. We can’t wait to see him back on the road,” said PR Worldwide, one of the agencies involved in promoting the tour, on Instagram.

“Our understanding is the Asia leg of the tour is set to continue as scheduled. Please stay tuned to AEG Presents Asia for any Justice World Tour Asia Leg updates.”

View this post on Instagram A post shared by PR Worldwide Sdn Bhd (@pr_worldwide)

Next month, Justin is scheduled to perform in several Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan.

Just a few hours ago, on Sept. 6 (American time), Justin Bieber posted on his Instagram account about his choice to cancel the tour and put his health and wellbeing first.

In his post, he said the tour, which was scheduled to go on until March 2023, has been called off due to the toll it has had on him.

The post read:

Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralysed. As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice tour.

After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.

After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realised that I need to make my health the priority right now

I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!

For those who already have tickets to his show at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Oct. 23, keep on Bieb-lieving and hang in there.

Justin Bieber will bring his Justice World Tour concert to Malaysia this October

Justin Bieber’s concert in Malaysia is happening.

Beliebers better believe it – Justin Bieber is definitely performing in Malaysia in 2022 barring any unforeseen circumstances of biblical proportions.

Ever since the raging pandemic and borders closure curtailing any chances of foreign artistes holding a live concert, local music fans have been starved of any excitement. That is about to change drastically after April 1 as Malaysia reopens to seamless cross-border travel. Already confirmed is the highly anticipated impending appearance of Canadian heartthrob, bad boy and superstar Justin Bieber. The songster is scheduled to conduct a concert on October 22 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil as part of his Justice World Tour itinerary.

Justin Bieber is set to hold a concert in KL, Malaysia on October 22

Originally slated to take to the stage on 14 May 2020, the Justice World Tour has suffered several gestational complications. After having to be rescheduled and postponed ad nauseam, finally kicking off on 18 February 2022 in San Diego, the tour was disrupted once more by Covid-19, leading to the unfortunate axing of the Las Vegas concert on February 20.

However, according to the organiser responsible for bringing Bieber to Malaysia via a Star report, he has pencilled in KL for this October. Ceteris paribus, it will be Bieber’s first performance here in a decade, having thrilled fans at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia back in 2012.

Tickets for the concert go on sale March 31, 11am, ranging from RM288 to RM1,088.

Till then, wait with bated breath.
