Looking for a fun date night or something different to do with a group of friends? Consider checking out Cruisin’ Tikis Destin ! They have a few different options for cruising around on a tiki boat. Here’s what you need to know!

Pack up your favorite beverages and snacks and book your tiki cruise from Cruisin’ Tikis Destin! They’re conveniently located on the Destin Harbor, making it the perfect opportunity to grab a pre-cruise cocktail from 1835 Porch Bar before heading down.

All of the tiki cruises from Cruisin’ Tikis allow you to bring your own drinks and snacks. Cruisin’ Tikis will provide a cooler and ice for you! You can easily book one of the cruises via their website or by calling 850-200-0573. These are their four cruise options.

Cruise Options:

1.5 hour sunset cruise.

• 1.5 hour cruise around the Destin Harbor at sunset

3 Hour Crab Island Sandbar Cruise

• Cost: $79.95 per person
• 3 hour cruise starting at the Destin Harbor and going to Crab Island. The captain will drop the anchor at Crab Island so you can swim, float, and sip on your favorite beverage!

Harbor Lights Cruise

• Cost: $49 per person
• Cruise through the Destin Harbor at night and enjoy the lights and sites!

1.5 Hour Harbor Cruise

We booked a sunset cruise with for a part of our bachelorette trip to Destin. Super beautiful! Captain Murray was great! He took our pictures, played wonderful music, and even followed some dolphin for us! Perfect sunset trip!

I give Cruisin Tikis Destin and Captain John all five stars because this experience was unplanned and not expected but definitely one for the books. My friends and I just happened to be perusing around the back of the Boathouse Oyster Bar, when we spotted the whole tiki hut floating on the water. We booked an 8pm cruise, for later that evening which lasts around 90 minutes. It was about $60 per person, for me and three friends. Be mindful that it's a BYOB and food situation so if you want to drink it or eat it, bring it with you. They only provide the floating tiki with a captain. Before our trip, I received two more texts from the captain. The first was our tickets and the other was for the waivers, each of us had to complete and sign. The second text stated that WE MUST ARRIVE 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. The boat will not wait for you, if you are not on time. If you do not arrive on time you will be considered a "No-Show." I recommend the night cruise, if you can. Not only did we BYOB, we brought a Bluetooth speaker and our own music. We had a 90 minute, non-stop blast that included dancing and a conga line!

Fun and amazing experience. I did a sunset cruise with my friends and we had Captain Sam and Captain Kert 2! Both were super friendly and kind! Very funny and nice to engage in conversation with. Both answered all our questions and made sure we were safe the whole time. The company offers complimentary rides back to your car so that was a nice touch!

I'd give Captain Matt 5 stars! But the rest of the service 2 stars. The overall experience was a 4.5... Here's the story: Had been staying in Destin for several days and tried making a sunset cruise reservation (for just me) when it would fit in with my schedule all around the panhandle and the weather was hit or miss every day. I tried to get on one (purchase at the dock) but I couldn't get a parking spot anywhere.....and not enough time to get across the street to paid parking (requires an app) and make it back across the street, down the gravel hill, to the end of the dock to get on the tiki in time. So, instead I tried to book a Harbor Lights cruise, but no one seemed to be going and with a minimum number of people required, it wasn't until an hour before the cruise I found out (by calling multiple times, finally got a call back that there were enough people to take one out...), I had less than hour to get there and go! I found out once I met the folks who made the other reservation to meet the minimum, they had made that reservation a few hours prior - I should have gotten a call then so I didn't have to stop in the middle of my plans so I could be better prepped/dressed to go. But I made it!!! We all get to the dock and it's DARK and just a couple tikis coming in from the sunset tours.....and no one to greet us, we are all there just guessing on who to meet and where to go and what to do... As one Captain approached us, we had asked if where we go and he was a bit jumpy and said JUST WAIT HERE and so we did... and waited... Another Captain came our way and we gently asked who we ought to meet and he checked in with some folks and found that we didn't have a Captain for the evening.. NICE! But Captain Matt, although put him back to the dock after yet another tour for the evening LATE because he had to clean up after the tour he just got back from and delayed our start and had a flight super early in the morning....he took us out and was super great about it!!! when whatever other Captain didn't show!!! What a great guy - we had so much fun with him, he was knowledgeable and it was so nice of him to stay later than he was supposed to, to cover for someone else. Bring drinks/shots! Bring music! If the sound system/speakers aren't blown, it's great sound on the water and a fun mini party! I'd forewarn there are apparently quite a few communication issues within this company. But if you get on and your Captain shows up, I'm pretty sure it'll be a fun time!

Captain Murray was amazing, we had such a blast on our trip! We did this for a fun bachelorette party activity and highly recommend! The tiki took us to crab island and it was a fun day in the sun and the water was beautiful. Definitely want to come back and do this again very soon!

Amazing time! Highly recommend to all when you visit this area! We were in Panama Beach, but drove to Destin for this experience. So worth it all... the customer service and time in the water, and hanging out with fun humans in a party atmosphere; unforgettable! We will be back!!

Amazing time! The best excursion we've been on in years of vacations, hands down - and we've been on a lot. We are a family of 4 with kids 7.5yo and 8.5yo and it was PERFECT. Not wild, but still a great time. Crab Island was perfection and our tiki master, Josh, was incredible - very safe, knowledgeable and FUN! He had the best music and took the kids requests while playing all the good music the adults loved. 10/10 recommending Crusin Tikis - specifically Josh - to all of our Destin-bound friends this summer!

This is a great option for a date night or fun with family/friends. I booked the 6pm sunset cruise and it was worth it. You can bring your our drinks, food, etc. they will provide cups, ice and coolers. We were running a bit behind but Mike our tour guide waited (we were only 5 min late) and we hopped aboard with 2 other couples. The ride was smooth, he was engaging and he played soft rock music. The 1.5 hour tour was just enough time for us to all enjoy yourselves. There's not much to do in Destin now since the pandemic but this was one of our highlights

My friends and I spent to Destin specifically for Crab Island. The weather was perfect. Our Captain Bill was awesome! Would definitely recommend!

Save your money. Just for a trip to island and swim in 3ft of water. Definitely won't do it again. Rent a jetski and explore yourself!!

Due to weather the wind was 12-14 that entire day, it was sunny 68 degrees, as they did not warn us that we wouldn’t be making it out to crab island or adventuring around. We did not get to go to crab island on the 3 hour cruise. So the captain decided to park across from their Tiki place on the harbor shore and said we’ll just sit here. After sitting there for an hour, I asked the captain if we are going cruisin and he said no we are going to stay here the entire time. I told him I didn’t pay $500 for my family to just sit here as we thought this was a Tiki Adventure. He then went to talk to the other Tiki captains which we didn’t know they all try to stick together. When he finally came back 20 minutes later he said we’ll cruise the harbor. Not what we expected at all, very dissatisfied with this Cruisin Tiki Crab Island Adventure company. And you get no money back. I even had 10% off coupon I forgot to bring when I first got there so I gave it to them after the trip and they would not honor it even after the disappointing trip. We were very dissatisfied. We were completely excited when the day finally got here. Captain Andy introduced himself. Then he proceeded to tell us that he highly suggested that we not go to Crab Island due to the wind and the choppiness of the water it would be very cold and unbearable and we would get toss around. So you could imagine our disappointment. However he said he'd take us for a float by to see what we thought. Woohoo he was right. She gave us a couple of options and told us that he didn't want to take us just to any old plain little beach cuz you can do that anywhere so he took us to a little spot that he knew of and it was absolutely amazing and it was a great experience. The Tiki boat was so cute and felt so tropical. He also had a great playlist of music. Highly recommend this to a group of friends to experience. I also recommend you ask for Captain Andy! • V8020XDscottk 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles Disappointed Very disappointed…Our Tiki headed out to crab island and half way there our captain decided it was too windy, turned around and headed back into the harbor. Due to weather the wind was 12-14 that entire day, it was sunny 68 degrees, as they did not warn us that we wouldn’t be making it out to crab island or adventuring around. We did not get to go to crab island on the 3 hour cruise. So the captain decided to park across from their Tiki place on the harbor shore and said we’ll just sit here. After sitting there for an hour, I asked the captain if we are going cruisin and he said no we are going to stay here the entire time. I told him I didn’t pay $500 for my family to just sit here as we thought this was a Tiki Adventure. He then went to talk to the other Tiki captains which we didn’t know they all try to stick together. When he finally came back 20 minutes later he said we’ll cruise the harbor. Not what we expected at all, very dissatisfied with this Cruisin Tiki Crab Island Adventure company. And you get no money back. I even had 10% off coupon I forgot to bring when I first got there so I gave it to them after the trip and they would not honor it even after the disappointing trip. We were very dissatisfied. We were completely excited when the day finally got here. Captain Andy introduced himself. Then he proceeded to tell us that he highly suggested that we not go to Crab Island due to the wind and the choppiness of the water it would be very cold and unbearable and we would get toss around. So you could imagine our disappointment. However he said he'd take us for a float by to see what we thought. Woohoo he was right. She gave us a couple of options and told us that he didn't want to take us just to any old plain little beach cuz you can do that anywhere so he took us to a little spot that he knew of and it was absolutely amazing and it was a great experience. The Tiki boat was so cute and felt so tropical. He also had a great playlist of music. Highly recommend this to a group of friends to experience. I also recommend you ask for Captain Andy! • We allow service animals only. A service animal is any dog that has been trained to perform tasks to benefit an individual. The work performed must be directly related to the individual’s disability. According to the ADA, service animals for emotional support, therapy, comfort or companionship are not considered service animals. The guest requiring the service animal must be in possession of the animal at all times. ​Due to the nature of Crab Island tours, the guest and the service animal may be required to remain on the boat for the entirety of the tour. He was very laid back and had a great play list that lined up either accidentally or on purpose to what was going on.
