Partez découvrir les alentours du volcan le plus connu de l’île et profitez d’un déjeuner typiquement réunionnais dans un restaurant local !

Le Piton de la Fournaise est l’un des volcans les plus actifs de la planète et il est devenu un des endroits emblématiques à visiter lors d’un séjour à La Réunion. Profitez d’une visite en 4x4 pour en apprendre plus et découvrir le massif volcanique de l’île !

Après un transfert depuis votre hôtel tôt le matin, vous prendrez la route en direction du Sud Sauvage . Vous ferez un arrêt au souffleur , près d’Etang Salé, où l’eau s’engouffre d’un côté d’une grotte sous-marine avant de rejaillir depuis l’ouverture, de l’autre côté. Vous reprendrez ensuite la route vers le Pas de Bellecombe , et vous vous arrêterez au Nez de Bœuf, culminant à 2130 mètres d’altitude. Vous pourrez alors profiter d’un magnifique panorama à 360 degrés sur la Plaine des Cafres et le Piton des Neiges.

Puis, vous vous rendrez à la Plaine des Sables, situé à 2350 mètres d’altitude. C'est ici que vous pourrez admirer une étendue de roche volcanique, couverte de scories aux reflets rougeâtres. Vous profiterez d’un moment unique, en plein milieu d’un paysage à la fois basaltique et végétal, avec la forêt qui l’entoure.

Enfin, vous rejoindrez la piste forestière pour déguster un déjeuner typiquement créole dans un restaurant local.  Selon la météo, vous pourrez faire quelques arrêts supplémentaires sur le chemin du retour. 

Tout au long de votre excursion, vous serez accompagné de votre chauffeur-guide qui vous en apprendra plus sur l’histoire du volcan. Après cette journée à découvrir les alentours du volcan, vous serez ramené à votre hôtel aux alentours de 17h.

Notre périple continue en direction de La Plaine des Cafres vers le village de Notre Dame de La Paix situé a plus de 1 700 metres d'altitude. On y accede par une route qui traverse des cultures d'ananas, de géraniums, des pâturages et successivement divers types de végétation, vieux tamarins, foret primitive avec ses ajoncs, fougeres arborescentes, arums.

• Déjeuner traditionnel en table d'hôtes et découverte des produits du terroir.
• Apres le déjeuner, découverte du vétiver et du " safran péi " : Le Curcuma, ce rhizome cultivé pour produire cet épice utilisé dans toutes les cuisine réunionnaises et qui possede des propriétés anti-oxydantes et anti-inflammatoires qui lui conferent aussi une utilisation médicale.

Discover the very famous Piton de la Fournaise and learn all about its rum culture! During the morning, cross the Plaine des Cafres and take in the views of the Rivière des Remparts. Continue on your way by passing by the Plaine des Sables, then pause at the Pas de Bellecombe where you can admire the views of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano. You will then reach the Bois Cours viewpoint which dominates the Entre-Deux valley. Your bus will then take you to Saint Pierre where you will tuck into a Creole lunch. In the afternoon, visit the museum, La Saga Du Rhum. This museum, located in the oldest family distillery of the island will introduce you to this La Réunion speciality. Set off again back to your hotel where you'll arrive late afternoon
