The staff were so lovely with helping me choose frames. I didn’t get anyones names unfortunately but they were all so great and friendly 😊”

Tips on Healthy Eyes

According to the Australian Government Department of Health website “The major causes of blindness and vision loss in Australia are the age-related degenerative eye diseases, such as cataract, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Other conditions causing significant vision loss are diabetic retinopathy, retinitis pigmentosa, eye injuries, un-corrected or under-corrected refractive error and trachoma, which is present in some remote regions of Australia.

Certain population groups are at particular risk of experiencing avoidable vision loss, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, older people, people with a family history of eye disease, people with diabetes, and marginalised and disadvantaged people.

There are significant health and social costs associated with vision disorders, estimated at $9.85 billion per annum.

Because our eyesight changes as we get older, many of us will need to wear glasses or contact lenses as we age. Here are some tips to help keep your vision clear.

It’s important to wear the correct prescription lenses.

Have regular eye tests

An eye test is not just good for checking whether your glasses are up to date. It’s also a vital check on the health of your eyes.

An eye test can pick up eye diseases, such as glaucoma and cataracts, as well as general health problems, including diabetes and high blood pressure.

An eye test can be bulk billed to Medicare by our Sydney city Optometrists.

Wear the right lenses

An eye test will establish whether you need a different prescription for your glasses or contact lenses.

It’s important to wear the correct prescription lenses. This will improve your quality of life and reduce the risk of accidents and eye injury.

How to keep your eyes healthy

As well as having regular eye tests and wearing the correct glasses, you can do several things to keep your eyes as healthy as possible:

  • Eat well – eating a healthy, balanced diet is important for your eyes. Eating plenty of vegetables and fruit will benefit your overall health and may help protect against some conditions such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD, see below).
  • Wear sunglasses – strong sunlight can damage your eyes and may increase your risk of cataracts. Wear sunglasses or contact lenses with a built-in UV filter to protect your eyes from harmful rays.
  • Quit smoking – smoking can increase your chances of developing conditions such as cataracts and AMD.
  • Stay a healthy weight – being overweight increases your risk of diabetes, which can lead to sight loss.
  • Use good lighting – to see well, your eyes need three times as much light when you’re 60 as they did when you were 20. Increase the daylight in your home by keeping windows clean and curtains pulled back. Make sure you have good electric lighting too, especially at the top and bottom of stairs so you can see the steps clearly. For reading or close work, use a direct light from a flexible table lamp, positioned so the light is not reflected by the page and causing glare.
  • Exercise – good circulation and oxygen intake are important for our eye health. Both of these are stimulated by regular exercise.
  • Sleep well – as you sleep, your eyes are continuously lubricated and irritants, such as dust or smoke, that may have accumulated during the day are cleared out.

Eye problems as you get older

As you get older, you become more likely to get certain eye problems:

  • Difficulty reading – eye muscles start to weaken from the age of 45. It’s a natural ageing process of the eye that happens to us all. By the time you’re 60, you’ll probably need separate reading glasses or an addition to your prescription lenses (bifocals or multifocals).
  • Floaters – these tiny specks or spots that float across your vision are normally harmless. If they persist, see an optician as they may be a sign of an underlying health condition.
  • Cataracts – easily detected in an eye test, this gradual clouding of the eye’s lens is very common in over-60s. A simple operation can restore sight.
  • Glaucoma – this is related to an increase in pressure in the eye that leads to damage of the optic nerve, which connects the eye to the brain. Left untreated, glaucoma leads to tunnel vision and, ultimately, blindness. However, if it’s detected early enough, these complications can usually be avoided with eye drops.
  • Macular degeneration (MD) – this is the name given to a group of degenerative diseases of the retina that cause progressive, painless loss of central vision, affecting the ability to see fine detail, drive, read and recognise faces. Although there is no cure for MD, there are treatment options that can slow down its progression, depending on the stage and the type of disease (wet, dry and other forms). The earlier the disease is detected, the more vision you are likely to retain. Regular checks and eye tests including the macula are recommended to reduce the risk or slow down the progression of MD

A spokesperson for Personal Eyes Optometry added the following:

“We like to encourage people to learn more about eye testing via our website, and then contact us to make an appointment. It makes good sense to see your optometrist at least once per year, as eye health is very important. Starting at a young age, this is something that people need to realize.”

Need Clear Vision? Come to Personal Eyes Optometry!

“O loss of sight, of thee I most complain! Blind among enemies! O worse than chains”

Nearly 500 years ago John Milton was complaining  about his eyesight. Our sight is our most precious sense. It is also our most sensitive sense and problems with our eyesight are one of the most common and irritating health issues that we have, and can significantly impact our daily life and performance at work.

At Personal Eyes Optometry, our experienced optometrists have access to the most advanced solutions for these delicate optical issues. More than ever before, the demands of modern technologies are testing our vision, and we are seeing more and more people with visual problems caused by long hours of computer work. At our centrally located office in the Sydney CBD an eye test can identify any problems.

Ocular problems affect a large segment of the population. A study in 2004 by the National Eye Institute in United States concluded that over 40 percent of population were are affected by myopia or presbyopia. The large number of people working with computers in the Sydney CBD means that for us, it is probably an even greater percentage.  An eye examination, which at  Personal Eyes Optometry can be bulk billed to Medicare will diagnose any visual deficiencies.

What can Personal Eyes Optometry offer me in terms of visual solutions?

As the name implies, Personal Eyes Optometry is dedicated to serve the unique needs of each one of our clients for eye care and eyewear. Our company offers a complete range of services to assess your vision and if necessary prescribe spectacles or contact lenses following a thorough examination. During the eye testing  our optometrists  gather extensive information regarding the functionality and health of different parts of the eye as well as a detailed investigation into the potential systemic or bodily processes that may be related to a  client’s poor vision. After the collection of this information, Personal Eyes Optometry will provide a diagnosis of any potential condition and create an action plan. Treatment and future options will also be discussed at the conclusion of the eye test.

In addition to the standard eye examination our Sydney CBD Optometrists offer several additional services such as advanced retinal imaging, laser eye surgery assessment, and some emergency services. One most important of these auxiliary services is the revolutionary retinal imaging exams. With these new, state-of-the-art digital imaging machines, our optometrists can assess the health of the retina and they are proving a valuable tool in the early diagnosis of macular degeneration and glaucoma, the two leading causes of blindness in Australia

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?

Whilst we do eye tests without an appointment if we can, our popularity means that it is advisable to call us in advance so ensure that you are seen promptly.

Q. What should I bring to my appointment?.

For your first visit to Personal Eyes Optometry patients should bring their Medicare card so that we can bulk bill an eye test, as well as your private health insurance card (if you have one) so that we can bill the health funds directly with Hicaps. To help speed things up, it is helpful if you can bring along your old prescriptions or spectacles.

Q. Can my Eye Test be bulk billed to Medicare?.

Yes, most of our eye tests are bulk billed through Medicare. Some more complicated procedures may involve a co payment or may not be billable to Medicare. We will advise you if we cannot bulk bill your treatment to Medicare. Q. Can I claim from my private health insurance?.

Yes. Patients with private insurance will be pleased to know that at Personal Eyes Optometry we can claims on the spot electronically with HICAPS, which makes the billing process extremely straightforward and easy to understand.

We are also authorised to provide spectacles and contact lenses to Veteran Affairs clients.

Q. Should I get my contact lenses on line?.

Unfortunately, on line purchases of contact lenses can be problematic. Often these internet companies get their contact lenses from overseas and they therefore may not comply with the strict safety regulations the Australian Government Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) stipulate. At Personal Eyes Optometry we only use officially approved TGA compliant contact lenses companies.

There are increasing incidences of counterfeit contact lenses being sold through the internet. Again at Personal Eyes Optometry we only source our contact lenses from TGA compliant contact lenses companies guaranteeing the safety of lenses supplied by our Sydney CBD optometrists.

Diabetic eye disease treatment in sydney.

Diabetic eye problems include diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema. It is important to have a regular diabetes eye check so that treatment can be started as early as possible to preserve your vision.

Our Sydney ophthalmologists may recommend diabetic retinopathy treatment such as eye injections to prevent diabetes eye damage. Diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema can cause significant visual impairment if left untreated.

Dr david ng, dr gary schiller, macular degeneration diagnosis and treatment in sydney.

Age-related macular degeneration, or AMD, affects the central part of your retina. It can be categorised as either dry macular degeneration (very common) or wet macular degeneration (uncommon).

People often ask if we offer macular degeneration treatment in Sydney. While there is no dry macular degeneration treatment, treatment is available for wet macular degeneration. Regular eye checks once you are over 50 are important for early diagnosis.

Dr Simon Chen

Dry eye diagnosis and management in sydney.

Dry eye is more common in females, older people and office environments, where there is a lot of computer work and dry air due to constant heating/cooling. Symptoms of dry eye include itching, watering, redness, burning, grittiness, fluctuating vision and sensitivity to light. It is often confused with allergies.

Severe dry eye can be extremely debilitating. Although there is no dry eye cure, early diagnosis and management, including symptomatic treatment, are important.

Vision Eye Institute Sydney clinics have dry eye specialists who offer both traditional and newer treatments.

Pterygium treatment in Sydney

People who spend a lot of time outside in sunny, windy conditions have a higher risk of developing a pterygium (also called Surfer’s Eye). A pterygium is a (usually) benign growth involving the conjunctival layer of the eye. It is often fleshy and triangular-shaped.

Pterygium treatment is not required unless the growth occurs onto the cornea, where it may cause scarring and/or distort vision. If this happens, our Sydney eye doctors can perform pterygium surgery to remove it.

Book a pterygium consultation .

Dr Tess Huynh

Corneal transplantation in sydney.

Corneal transplants (also known as corneal grafts or keratoplasty) remain an important treatment option for certain eye conditions and can offer life-changing restoration of vision. Because it is an invasive procedure with a high risk of side-effects, a corneal transplant is generally a treatment of last resort.

Vision Eye Institute Sydney clinics have several corneal specialists with significant expertise in performing corneal transplants, including full- and partial-thickness graft techniques.

Prof Gerard Sutton

Corneal clinics in sydney.

Vision Eye Institute Sydney corneal specialists diagnose and treat a wide range of corneal conditions, including keratoconus , dry eye, corneal dystrophy,  pterygium , and keratitis. Our Sydney eye clinics are fully equipped for comprehensive diagnostic testing and assessment of the cornea.

Your eye doctor will recommend treatment based on your condition. Our Sydney corneal specialists offer the full range of treatment options, including eye injections, corneal crosslinking , photodynamic therapy and corneal ring segments. A number of our Sydney eye surgeons also have expertise in performing  corneal transplants .

Neuro-ophthalmology in Sydney

The visual system is a complex one that involves your nervous system as well as your eyes. Sometimes visual disturbances are due to conditions affecting the nervous system, rather than the eyes themselves. Neuro-ophthalmology is a special area of ophthalmology that focuses on these nerve-related vision problems. Neurological conditions that can affect your vision include myasthenia gravis, brain tumours, stroke, giant cell arteritis, thyroid eye disease, optic neuritis and multiple sclerosis.

Reconstructive eye surgery (Oculoplastics) in Sydney

Patients with an eyelid lesion or tumour, drooping eyelids (also known as ptosis), hooded eyelids, baggy eyelids or blocked tear ducts may require surgery. This delicate reconstructive surgery around the eye and its associated structures is also known as oculoplastics. Our reconstructive eye surgeons in Sydney are also available to provide second opinions.

Children's eye health in Sydney

Paediatric ophthalmology is a sub-speciality of ophthalmology that covers eye conditions affecting newborns through to adolescents. Examples of paediatric eye conditions include refractive error, conjunctivitis, lazy eye (amblyopia), crossed eyes (strabismus), congenital droopy eyelid (ptosis), childhood cataract, congenital glaucoma and eye injuries. Although conducting a thorough eye examination in a child can be challenging, it is important for an accurate diagnosis.

Keratoconus treatment in Sydney

People with keratoconus experience weakening and thinning of their cornea, which can change its shape and lead to visual distortion. Corneal cross-linking is a type of keratoconus surgery that has been shown to effectively stop the progression of this condition.

A Medicare rebate is available for keratoconus cross-linking treatment and the procedure is offered at several of our Sydney eye clinics. Corneal transplants are sometimes used in patients with severe keratoconus.

Prof Colin Chan

Retinal clinic in sydney.

The retina is the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye, which can be affected by a number of conditions and diseases (e.g. age-related macular degeneration ,  diabetic retinopathy , diabetic macular oedema, retinal tears). The eye doctors at our retinal clinics are experts in modern techniques of vitrectomy surgery and eye injections (also known as intravitreal injections).

Vision Eye Institute Sydney and NSW accepts all referrals involving the retina, including emergency cases. All retinal patients undergo comprehensive testing and assessment, which can take some time. Please note pupil-dilating drops are used to carry out the examination. These drops cause blurry vision and sensitivity to glare and bright light for approximately 4–6 hours. Treatment for retinal conditions may include  eye injections  (also called intravitreal injections), retinal laser treatment and vitrectomy surgery.

Because retinal conditions can be sight-threatening, an urgent consultation is often required. We recommend that consultations are booked by  calling the clinic  directly.

Find a retinal clinic .

Cataract & lens surgery in Sydney

A cataract is often mistaken for a growth. In actual fact, a cataract develops when the eye’s lens changes from being clear and transparent to cloudy. As a result, light rays have difficulty passing through to the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye (the retina) and vision is affected.

Surgical removal of cataracts involves removing the affected lens and replacing it with an artificial one. This is one of the most commonly performed procedures around the world. Our Sydney eye clinics offer a range of replacement lenses including multifocal, trifocal and toric lenses.

Vision Eye Institute has a number of experienced cataract eye surgeons in Sydney, who offer both standard and laser cataract surgery. Our team in Sydney includes one of the first eye surgeons in the world to perform femtosecond laser cataract surgery combined with retinal surgery. We also accept referrals for difficult or complex cataract cases.

Our highly experienced cataract surgeons offer different types of procedures for cataracts, as well as lens replacement surgery in Sydney. More information about cataract surgery in Sydney and New South Wales.

Standard cataract surgery

Standard or traditional cataract surgery is one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures in the world. The procedure takes less than 30 minutes and can be performed at one of our Sydney clinics or day surgeries.

Laser cataract surgery

Our Sydney cataract surgeons may use a femtosecond laser for cataract surgery in place of manual surgery depending on your individual needs and suitability. One of the first cataract surgeons in the world that performed femtosecond laser cataract surgery combined with retinal surgery is part of our Sydney team of eye doctors.

Refractive lens exchange

Also known as clear lens extraction or lens replacement surgery, refractive lens exchange uses the same technique as cataract surgery. During this procedure, the dysfunctional natural lens is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) at one of our Sydney lens exchange clinics.

Replacement lens options

IOLs are used to replace your body’s natural lens and can also be used to correct pre-existing refractive errors, such as short-sightedness, long-sightedness and/or astigmatism. Replacement lens options in Sydney include monofocal lenses, bifocal/multifocal lenses, and trifocal lenses.

Implantable (phakic) lenses

Implantable lenses (sometimes called implantable contact lenses) are inserted via a tiny incision in the cornea. One inside, the lens unravels and sits in front of the natural crystalline lens. These lenses cannot be felt, require no maintenance and can achieve good quality vision. Yearly check-ups with your Sydney cataract eye surgeon are required to ensure that the lens stays in position, the pressure inside your eye remains normal and your natural lens is healthy.

If you are not suitable for laser eye surgery , our refractive surgeons also offer many other vision correction options. This includes lens surgery, which is also known as refractive lens exchange or clear lens surgery. Essentially, lens surgery is the same as cataract surgery – in other words, the eye surgeon replaces the natural lens with an artificial one. The only exception is that the natural lens isn’t cloudy like it is with a cataract.

Our Sydney and NSW eye specialists have significant expertise in the latest lens technology, including monofocal, multifocal, trifocal and toric intraocular lenses. Advancements in lens technology means that many people have even been able to get rid of their reading glasses with premium  trifocal intraocular lenses . Speak to us to see if we can help you.

Dr Jason Cheng

A/prof tim roberts, glaucoma diagnosis and management in sydney.

Otherwise known as the ‘sneak thief of sight’, glaucoma often goes unnoticed until the disease is quite advanced. Vision loss due to glaucoma is usually the result of increased pressure within the eye and is irreversible. Many Australians don’t realise they have the condition, which is why regular checks with an eye care professional are so important – even if you haven’t noticed a problem.

Glaucoma is a chronic condition that requires ongoing monitoring and management to preserve remaining sight. There is no cure. Vision Eye Institute Sydney eye clinics have glaucoma specialists who offer medical, laser and surgical treatment options as part of their long-term patient care.

Patients with glaucoma in Sydney require ongoing care by an ophthalmologist and Vision Eye Institute’s team of experienced Sydney ophthalmologists can help with glaucoma treatment. Starting treatment as early as possible is critical for preserving as much of the remaining eyesight as possible.

Long-term use of eye drops is effective in controlling eye pressure for most people with glaucoma. Another option is to have laser treatment for glaucoma in Sydney, which is different to the laser eye surgery used to help people get rid of their glasses or contact lenses.

If your condition continues to progress despite medication and laser, your ophthalmologist may recommend having glaucoma surgery in Sydney. There are many different forms of glaucoma surgery and your Sydney ophthalmologist will discuss the option most suitable for you. The different forms of glaucoma surgery in Sydney include minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy (glaucoma filtration surgery) and Baerveldt Glaucoma Implant (glaucoma drainage device).

Ron Goldman's father and Alan Dershowitz react to O.J. Simpson's death

Fred Goldman, father of Ron Goldman, with his daughter Kim and wife Patty, during a preliminary hearing on July 7, 1994 in Los Angeles.

The death of O.J. Simpson drew immediate reaction around the country Thursday, renewing public interest in his era-defining 1995 murder trial — and reviving painful memories for the families who were close to the events.

Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, capping off what legal analysts described at the time as the "trial of the century."

Goldman's father, Fred Goldman, told NBC News that the news of Simpson's death only further underscored his grief for his son, who was found stabbed to death outside Brown Simpson's home in Los Angeles on June 12, 1994.

Family of Ronald Goldman Holds Press Conference Following His Murder

"The only thing I have to say is, it’s just further reminder of Ron being gone all these years," Fred Goldman said in a phone interview. "It’s no great loss to the world. It’s a further reminder of Ron’s being gone."

In a subsequent statement sent to reporters, Fred Goldman and his daughter, Kim, said they were experiencing a "mixed bag of complicated emotions."

"We will continue to advocate for the rights of all victims and survivors, ensuring our voices are heard both within and beyond the courtroom," the Goldmans said in part. "Thank you for keeping our family, and most importantly Ron, in your hearts for the last 30 years."

Alan Dershowitz, the prominent lawyer who served as an adviser on Simpson's legal "Dream Team" alongside Johnnie Cochran and F. Lee Bailey, told NBC News that he was saddened to learn that his onetime client had died.

"I knew he was very sick, so I'm upset that he died," Dershowitz said. "I got to know him fairly well during the trial. It was one of the most divisive trials in American history along racial lines. He'll always be remembered for the Bronco chase, for the glove and for the moment of acquittal."

Simpson, 76, died of cancer, according to a statement from his family that was posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

"On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer," the family said. "He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace."

Simpson's team of lawyers also included his friend Robert Kardashian, the late husband of reality television mogul Kris Jenner. The former Olympian and media personality Caitlyn Jenner, who was later married to Kris Jenner until their divorce in 2015, tweeted just two words in response to the news of Simpson's death: "Good Riddance."

Marcia Clark, a former Los Angeles deputy district attorney who was the lead prosecutor in the Simpson murder case, released a short statement: "I send my condolences to Mr. Simpson's family."

In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Keith Zlomsowitch — Brown Simpson's ex-boyfriend — said Simpson's death was a "relief." Zlomsowitch served as a pallbearer at her funeral.

"I think finally some sort of justice has been served, that he’s been taken from the earth," Zlomsowitch said. "So it doesn’t bring Nicole back. But it means he can no longer be who he is in this world."

Bob Costas, the sports broadcaster who worked with Simpson for years at NBC Sports covering the NFL, said he leaves behind “a complicated legacy, to put it mildly.”

“I can’t think of anyone historical or someone that we may have known where the first chapter and the second chapter of their lives are such a stark contrast … revered and then reviled,” Costas said on NBC’s “TODAY” show Friday.

In the decades before he earned national infamy as a murder trial defendant, Simpson was best known as a decorated football star and sometime actor, appearing in "The Naked Gun" movie franchise.

The Buffalo Bills, the team Simpson spent most of his NFL career with, did not immediately post a comment on his death, but a fan account published a photo of him on Instagram.

Meet O.J. Simpson's kids, including 2 with Nicole Brown

  • O.J. Simpson died on April 10, according to a statement from his family.
  • He was found not guilty of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, in a highly publicized 1995 trial.
  • He had two children with Brown and three with his first wife, Marguerite Whitley.

Insider Today

O.J. Simpson 's family confirmed on Thursday that the former football player had died on April 10 after being diagnosed with cancer. He was 76 years old.

While Simpson never directly confirmed his diagnosis, he did allude to it in February, sharing a video to X where he told his followers: "My health is good, obviously I'm dealing with some issues."

Simpson, who was married twice, fathered five children.

Simpson married Marguerite Whitley in 1967 when they were both teenagers, and they had three children together. In 1977, the football player started dating Nicole Brown , and he divorced Whitley in 1979.

He and Brown got married in 1985, and they were together for seven years. They had two children before she filed for divorce in 1992.

In 1995, Simpson was acquitted of the 1994 murder of Brown and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

Meet Simpson's five kids.

Arnelle Simpson

Arnelle Simpson is the ex-football star's first daughter with Marguerite L. Whitley. She was born in December 1968, saying during her father's murder trial that it was "the same day my dad won the Heisman trophy," The Washington Post reported at the time.

Arnelle told the jury during the trial that her father was "very upset, emotional, confused" when she spoke to him after police told him about the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, per the Post. At the time of the June 1994 murders, Arnelle was living in a guest house on Simpson's property.

Arnelle also spoke during her father's parole hearing after he spent nine years in prison in relation to a 2007 robbery. During her statement, she called him her "best friend" and "rock," ABC News reported.

"We just want him to come home," Arnelle said at the time. "This has been really, truly hard… I know that he is remorseful."

Jason Simpson

Jason is Simpson and Whitley's first son. He was 24 at the time of the 1984 killings , born in 1970.

As NBC News reported, Jason tried to speak with his father when Simpson arrived at his Brentwood home after his famous televised 1994 car chase. Police, however, stopped Jason before he could reach Simpson and detained him. Jason did not face any charges.

The Los Angeles Times reported in 2016 that Jason was living a quiet life out of the public eye and working as a chef at an Atlanta restaurant called St. Cecilia. A profile that appears to belong to Jason on the Charleston Wine + Food Festival website indicates that he has more recently worked as the executive chef at Golden Eagle and Muchacho , two sister restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Aaren Simpson

Simpson and his first wife had one more daughter, Aaren, who was born in 1977. However, Aaren died at 23 months old after drowning in a swimming pool.

Sydney Brooke Simpson

Sydney Brooke Simpson was born in 1985 and was 8 years old when her mother was murdered in 1994. After Brown's death and amid her father's trial, she was looked after by her maternal grandparents, Louis Brown and Juditha Brown.

According to The Los Angeles Times , she studied at Boston University where she graduated with a degree in Sociology. She later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, near her brother Jason.

Simpson seemingly has no presence on social media and appears to keep her life private.

Justin Ryan Simpson

Simpson's youngest child Justin was born in 1988 and was 5 years old at the time of his mother's murder. Along with his sister, Justin was also looked after by his grandparents during his father's trial and kept away from the media growing up.

When "The People v. O.J. Simpson," a TV series that dramatized the case, was airing on FX in 2016 and catapulted the Simpson family back into the spotlight, the Tampa Bay Times spoke to Justin about his life at the time. He told them that he was working in real estate and explained why he lives in Florida.

"It's a great place to live, why not St. Pete? It's great here," he said.

A Zillow profile that appears to belong to Justin reads: "Justin has seen a diverse spectrum of markets from Los Angeles to Chicago, Miami and Atlanta. Having spent years in multi-family renovation and income properties, Justin has turned his focus to helping others succeed as he has."

It continued: "Having a family immersed in hospitality, Justin sets himself apart by dominating customer service and his communication/negotiation skills give his clients the competitive edge.''
