There was a small problem at the launch. When it launched Mario Kart Tour didn't actually have a proper multiplayer mode. Disaster, I know, and it was really unclear at the time as to why Nintendo would launch such a big mobile title without such an obvious feature. However, it is here now, and now that it is you'll need a list of friends to get playing with.

To be able to add friends, you need to make sure to complete the tutorial of the game and complete the first challenge (the first cup) . This is when the option to play with friends will be enabled. • Open the Menu in the game. The icon is at the bottom right section of the screen, indicated by 3 horizontal dots.
• Tap on the Friends button.
• Under Friend Ranking , tap on Add Friend and then tap on the + icon .

In Mario Kart Tour, players have been asking how to add friends. The reason for this is the “Friends” tab isn’t immediately available in Mario Kart Tour. Instead, you’ll need to complete a few requirements in order to unlock the Friends tab in the menu. Once it’s unlocked, there are a few options available to you that’ll allow you to quickly and easily add your friends. Confused? Here’s a quick guide that’ll explain how to add friends in Mario Kart Tour!

To add friends in Mario Kart Tour, you’ll need to first unlock Ranking. We have a full guide on what you need to do to unlock Ranking in Mario Kart Tour , but we’ll abbreviate the steps for you here as well. To unlock Ranking, you’ll need to play through the game until you complete the Yoshi Cup.

After completing the Yoshi Cup, you’ll unlock Ranking which expands your menu options and gives you the ability to add Friends. To do this, tap “Menu” at the bottom of your home screen and then tap “Friends” to look at the various ways in which you can add people in Mario Kart Tour. Below, we’ve listed all the ways you’re able to add friends in Mario Kart Tour.

• Input their Friend ID, or have them input your Friend ID.
• Link your Facebook and/or Twitter accounts.
• Add directly from your Nintendo Account.

Similar to other mobile games like Pokemon GO, you’ll be given a unique Friend ID in Mario Kart Tour. For example, our Friend ID is 9914 5404 4830. To add us, you’d open your Friends menu and input that code in the section beneath, “Enter the player’s ID.” If you have a friend you’re looking to add, ask them to give you their Friend ID, or give them yours.

Alternatively, you can add friends from Facebook and Twitter by linking your accounts, though we can understand if you’d rather avoid linking social media. Finally, Mario Kart Tour requires you to link your Nintendo Account. If you have friends added on Nintendo Switch, you can add them to Mario Kart Tour by tapping on their names and sending out the friend request.

How To Find Your Mario Kart Tour Player ID

Mario Kart Tour launched earlier this week on Android and iOS devices everywhere. Nintendo’s mobile version of their successful racing game Mario Kart has proven to be a big hit.

While you can’t play in an official multiplayer mode quite yet, you can compete against your friends in ranked mode to try and outscore each other on each course. Multiplayer will come to the game soon, but there’s no official date from Nintendo on the matter.

To add your friend and have them add you, you need to use Player IDs. In order to locate your player ID:

• Click the Menu button on the bottom of the main screen
• Click on Friends
• Click on Add Friend +
• You will see a screen with your ID, which is a 12-digit number

Send your player ID to your friend who you want to add you, or enter your friend’s player ID in the box to add them to your friend’s list. Now that you know how to add people, start competing against them to see who is the best Mario Kart Tour player!

List of tours in Mario Kart Tour

The tours in Mario Kart Tour are the main events of the game, each one consisting of a number of cups and lasting for two weeks, with a new tour starting between every other Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the time zone. To progress through a tour, players collect Grand Stars by achieving points in the cups. Interspersed between the cups are tour gifts and free pipe launches that reward the player with various items. For the duration of a tour, the player can complete two sets of challenges (three if the player has a Gold Pass) to earn extra Grand Stars, although the second set is not available until the second week of the tour. Most tours introduce new content to the game, such as new drivers, karts , gliders , and courses.

Up until the Mario Bros. Tour , the next cup would not be unlocked until the latest cup had been cleared, regardless of whether or not the player had the required number of Grand Stars, although tour gifts were available immediately after meeting the required count. From the Baby Rosalina Tour onward, tour gifts are still unlockable, although all cups no longer require Grand Stars to unlock, meaning they can be played in any order.

In all tours, there is a time availability system for the later cups. Up until the 2019 Halloween Tour , by default, the ninth and tenth cups of each tour were not available until the second day, the eleventh and twelfth not until the fourth day, the thirteenth and fourteenth not until the sixth day, and the fifteenth and sixteenth not until the second week, although players could unlock them faster by using quick tickets . From the 2019 Paris Tour onward, the availability time was changed to one cup being unlocked every successive day (the ninth cup on the second day, the tenth on the third, and so on). From the Baby Rosalina Tour onward, the eighth cup was the first unlockable cup instead due to the reduced number of cups.

Also introduced in the Baby Rosalina Tour, the player can unlock at least two free pipe launches from the first week's pipe with Grand Stars. From the Wild West Tour to the 2022 Anniversary Tour , the second half of the free pipe launches are from the second week's pipe (except in the New Year's 2021 Tour , where only the last two were from the second week's pipe). Following the removal of weekly pipes after the 2022 Anniversary Tour, free pipe launches for non-spotlight items are instead included as tour gifts as of the Battle Tour .

Mario Kart es una franquicia que muchos disfrutan jugando junto a amigos, por lo adictivo y divertido que resulta. En el caso de Mario Kart Tour , muchos jugadores se han preguntado cómo pueden hacer eso, o incluso cómo agregar a sus amigos en el juego. Si estás confundido, ¡nosotros te ayudamos!

Cómo desbloquear la funcionalidad

Todos hemos notado que nos era imposible añadir amigos en el comienzo del juego. Eso es debido a que la funcionalidad está desactivada hasta que cumplas un requisito. Para agregar a tus compañeros, primero necesitas desbloquear el ranking o clasificación. Eso lo puedes hacer entrando en la tercera copa de la temporada. ¡Lo conseguirás muy rápido, así que juega con tranquilidad!

Cuando hagas eso, entra en el menú de Mario Kart Tour y verás que se ha habilitado la sección de "Amigos". Al presionar ahí, el juego te llevará a otra pantalla donde te mostrará una lista de amigos bastante vacía. ¡Sólo estarás tú! Para comenzar a agregar amigos en el juego, pulsa el botón "Añadir amigos".

Como verás en la imagen, hay dos maneras de añadir amigos: compartiendo o introduciendo una clave de amigo, y vinculando tu cuenta a redes sociales.

Método 1: compartir la clave de amigo

Lo primero que vas a ver en la pantalla de añadir amigos es tu propia clave de amigo. Este es tu código personal, el cual es único en todo el mundo. Puedes compartirlo con cualquier persona para que te añada en su lista de amigos. Cuando lo haga, te saldrá una solicitud de amistad en pantalla, el cual deberás aceptar.

Por supuesto, también puedes preguntar cuál es la clave de tu amigo para introducirlo en la ranura "Buscar". Una vez finalice la búsqueda, podrás añadir a tu amigo pero, para finalizar el proceso, tendrás que esperar a que acepte la solicitud.

Cuando ya tengas a tu amigo añadido, podrás regresar al menú principal, entrar en "Amigos" y ver a tu compañero en la lista. ¡Ahora podréis comparar vuestras puntuaciones y luchar por ser el mejor!

Método 2: vincular tu cuenta a redes sociales

El otro método para agregar amigos es utilizando las propias redes sociales. En el caso de Mario Kart Tour , podrás hacerlo mediante Facebook o Twitter. En el mismo menú de "Añadir amigos", puedes vincular cualquiera de las dos cuentas para luego buscar sugerencias de amistad.

Para ello, presiona en el botón "Vincular". El juego te llevará a la red social correspondiente, donde deberás conectarte con tu cuenta y aceptar las condiciones. Cuando completes este paso, vuelve otra vez a la pantalla de "Añadir amigos". Debajo del todo te saldrán sugerencias de amistad. Sólo necesitas pulsar sobre el perfil del amigo o amiga que quieras y darle a "Enviar solicitud de amistad". ¡Sólo te queda esperar!

Cuando acepten las solicitudes, todos tus amigos saldrán también en la lista de la sección "Amigos". ¡A competir!

El modo Multijugador no está disponible

Competir unos contra otros es la mejor experiencia que puedes tener en un Mario Kart . Desafortunadamente, el modo Multijugador no está disponible por el momento, por lo que no podrás competir directamente contra tus amigos.

En el mismo menú de Mario Kart Tour , podrás ver que hay una sección llamada "Multijugador", por lo que Nintendo tiene planes de incluirlo. Hasta entonces, sólo podrás jugar contra bots y tratar de ganar más puntos que todos tus amigos. Aprovecha eso para practicar pues, cuando llegue el momento, ¡podrás demostrar a tus amigos quién es el mejor!

Estos nuevos circuitos pondrán a prueba tu técnica de conducción. Acepta desafíos como «¡Contra Mega Bowser!» y «Saltos acelerados», descubrirás que no siempre basta con conseguir el primer puesto.

Estamos ante un modo multijugador bastante sencillo, directo y que no trae muchas complicaciones, pero te vamos a dar los pasos fundamentales tanto para jugar con amigos como para participar en carreras y sacar partido a cada uno de los modos disponibles.

Cómo empezar el modo multijugador

Si no has actualizado el juego, tendrás que actualizarlo. Una vez ya dentro del juego, debes localizar el modo multijugador que está situado en la parte inferior izquierda de la interfaz.

Una vez que ya hemos entrado esa pantalla tendremos tres opciones como es la carrera normal, carrera dorada y crear sala para amigos y jugadores cercanos.

Pulsa sobre cada uno de ellos para empezar, el juego puede tardar unos minutos en ponerte en partida con otros siete jugadores como máximo, y todos irán bajo un rango similar para que estén las partidas más equilibradas.

Explicación de los modos de juego

Tenemos la carrera normal, la carrera dorada y crear sala para amigos y jugadores cercanos.

• Carrera normal : te enfrentarás a otros siete jugadores como máximo seleccionados aleatoriamente de todo el mundo. Todos contarán con el mismo rango para que las carreras sean equilibradas, y la reglas irán cambiando de manera diaria.
• Carreras doradas : exactamente igual que la anterior, pero únicamente para aquellos usuarios que tengan el pase dorado. Además, gracias a esta modalidad podrás subir el rango más allá del S, con lo que te permitirá llegar a los rangos máximos algo que no es posible a través de las carreras normales.
• Para amigos y jugadores cercanos : como su nombre indica, nos permitirá elegir hasta siete amigos de nuestra lista de amigos o bien usuarios que tengamos cerca. Podemos crear nuestras propias salas eligiendo una serie de opciones, o bien unirnos a alguna sala que hayan creado alguno de nuestros amigos.

Cómo funcionan los rangos

Al comienzo todos los jugadores empezarán por el rango F que viene a ser nuestra habilidad de conducción, y conforme vayamos ganando carreras iremos subiendo este rango hasta los máximos.

Según el rango que contemos, obtendremos mayores recompensas, y nos enfrentaremos a peores o mejores jugadores. Recuerda que para llegar a los rangos máximos debemos contar con el pase dorado y participar en las carreras doradas.

El rango puede mejorar pero también empeorar, así que si pierdes muchas carreras volverás a los rangos anteriores. El rango viene a diferenciarse por letras y números y son los siguientes, de menor rango a mayor rango:

F-E-D-C-B-A-S1-S2...

Recompensas iniciales

Básicamente de lo que se trata es de acabar en primer lugar por encima de hacer cualquier virguería durante las carreras. Puedes completar misiones diarias en el multijugador para obtener estrellas adicionales, o ganar monedas que cuentan con un máximo diario de 300.

Además en este lanzamiento, Nintendo está realizando un concurso en Twitter mediante el cual, y hasta el 15 de marzo, si se llegan a una serie de RT se sumarán a los jugadores un montón de recompensas.

A esta hora ya se ha alcanzado el objetivo por lo tanto estas son las recompensas que van a recibir los jugadores entre el 25 de marzo y el 7 de abril:

• Una nueva insignia de Mario
• Nueva insignia de Mario y 20 rubís gratis
• Nueva insignia de Mario y 30 rubís gratis
