Not only will this tour be our first chance to see Harry’s second album Fine Line live in person (even if we all watched the livestreams of every Love On Tour date so far), it will also be our chance to hear all the tracks from his forthcoming third album Harry’s House. And if the three singles we’ve heard so far – ‘As It Was’, ‘Boyfriends’ and ‘Late Night Talking’ – are anything to go by, there will be equal parts dancing and crying.

The new 13-track album was recorded in multiple locations across the UK, Los Angeles, and Tokyo from 2020 to 2021. Special guests on the Australian and New Zealand dates will be UK duo Wet Leg.

The time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your place in the Smart Queue, so we recommend joining at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting Harry Styles tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is as popular as Harry Styles, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

Harry Styles and Wet Leg Are Touring Australia This Month

By Music Feeds

Harry Styles  will be bringing his ‘Love on Tour’ show to venues across Australia in February and March 2023. He’ll be joined on tour by UK indie pop band Wet Leg .

Styles’ Australian visit will kick off at Perth’s HBF Park on Monday, 20th February, before heading to Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, 24th and Saturday, 25th February. The Queensland show will take place at Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium on Tuesday, 28th February, before Styles and Wet Leg play consecutive shows at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Friday, 3rd and Saturday, 4th March.

Harry Styles – ‘Music For a Sushi Restaurant’

Both Styles and Wet Leg had a successful night at the Grammys on Sunday, 5th February. Styles took out Album of the Year for his latest Harry’s House.  The album, Styles’ third solo LP, also took home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album, while Wet Leg’s self-titled debut won Best Alternative Album. The Wet Leg  single ‘Chaise Longue’ claimed the award for Best Alternative Music Performance.

Not everyone was sold on Styles’ worthiness – many onlookers opined that Beyoncé’s  Renaissance  was a better candidate for Album of the Year. Former David Bowie producer Tony Visconti wasn’t head over heels either, writing on Facebook, “Someone just told me that Harry Styles is the new Bowie? From what I saw tonight he’s not worthy of shining his shoes.”

None of this feedback is likely to dissuade Styles’ mega fanbase, who helped the former One Direction member place second on ARIA’s 2022 year-end albums chart, behind only Taylor Swift’s  Midnights . The  Harry’s House single ‘As It Was’ landed on top of ARIA’s 2022 singles chart, ahead of  Glass Animals ‘ ‘Heat Waves’

Harry Styles To Embark On 2023 Stadium Tour Of Australia And New Zealand

Harry Styles To Embark On 2023 Stadium Tour Of Australia And New Zealand 1

Harry Styles will hit the road for Australia and New Zealand next year for the domestic leg of his highly-anticipated Love On Tour.

The English popstar will be playing at stadiums in five cities, having already begun on Feb. 20 at Perth’s HBF Park, and moving to Marvel Stadium in Melbourne (Feb. 24), Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium (Feb. 28), Accor Stadium in Sydney (March 3), and wrapping up in Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on March 7.

The dates are but an augmentation for the Love On Tour shows that were postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement made on Wednesday (April 20) of his long-overdue solo tour, Down Under, comes after the release of his comeback single, “As It Was,” which shot to No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, coming before the May 20 release of his solo third studio album, Harry’s House, the follow-up to 2019’s Fine Line, which topped Australia’s national chart and also went on to bag a two-time platinum certification.

Styles is obviously not new to playing stadiums. With his former boy-band, One Direction, he landed the opportunity to play open-air venues across Australia in 2015. Currently he’s making it to headlines with his top billing at the Coachella Fest, where he introduced and performed some his new material to massive audiences.

Harry Styles Is Touring Australia And New Zealand In 2023

By Morgan Reardon

20th Apr 2022

harry styles love on tour 2020

While we don’t like to play favourites here at Urban List, we can’t deny that when it comes to One Direction, Harry Styles has always been our guy. And since the group disbanded in 2016, Styles has only gotten better, carving out a hugely successful solo career—which is why we're freaking out over the news he’s about to bless our ears in person.

Confirming stadium shows for the first time, Styles will be bringing his Love On Tour 2023 to our shores, kicking off at Perth’s HBF Park on February 20, the tour then heads to Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on February 24, Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium on February 28, Accor Stadium in Sydney on March 3, before concluding at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on March 7.

The show, which features Style’s signature quirky style is packed with epic hits and a shedload of sequins. Check out a sneak peek below—it’s giving us serious Bowie vibes and we’re digging it hard.

Supporting Styles on his Australian and New Zealand dates is Wet Leg, the British indie rock duo who raced to prominence last year via their viral hit, ‘Chaise Lounge’ and their no.1 hit album is basically epic.

General tickets officially go on sale Wednesday 27 April at 1pm. Or if you want to register for presale—trust us, you do—then head here .

The countdown has begun! Which means it’s only 306 until Styles himself serenades us with Watermelon Sugar but it’s not like we’re counting…

Harry Styles Is Coming Back To Australia For His ‘Love On Tour’ Shows In 2023

Profile picture of Alex Bruce-Smith

Harry Styles fans rejoice. Our collective boyfriend is finally coming back to Australia. The ‘As It Was’ singer and recent Coachella headliner announced his Love On Tour shows were coming to our shores early 2023, and much like Cassie Howard, we have never been happier.

The announcement comes mere months after ticket holders (this author included) were told that sadly, his November 2020 dates would no longer be rescheduled and a refund was coming. We probably don’t need to explain why his November 2020 dates were originally pushed back (it rhymes with ‘schmandemic’), and a drastic combination of Mr Styles’ very busy schedule and the on/off nature of lockdowns meant the tour was eventually canned altogether.

This time around, we’re staying positive, and not with the novel coronavirus.

Harry Styles’ Love On Tour shows kick off in Perth mid February 2023, before hitting Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Sydney, and popping over to Aukland.

His third album, Harry’s House , drops on May 20 this year, meaning we can expect several bops from that album—including the single he debuted at Coachella, ‘Boyfriends’ —as well as classic bangers like ‘Sign of the Times’.

He recorded Harry’s House across 2020 and 2021 in the UK, Los Angeles and Tokyo, and said lockdowns gave him the space to “think about who I am and who I want to be away from music”.

“I really created it from a new place of freedom,” he told New York radio station Z100 . The reward has been more in the process than anything I’ve done os far. It’s kind of the best I’ve felt about making music, it’s the best I’ve felt about something I’ve made. In terms of this time, of putting out music, is pretty special, I feel pretty relaxed this time. I had such a good time making it, and I experienced so many wonderful things in the process of making it. I’ve never felt better about being a musician. I feel very lucky to be able to do this, and really happy I’m getting to share it with people now.”

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 27 April — see you there.

Harry Styles kicks off Australian tour with two very Aussie additions

Harry Styles kicked off his huge Australian tour in Perth last night, having made two very Aussie additions to the show.

Pop superstar Harry Styles kicked off his Australian stadium tour in Perth overnight with that most unhygienic of Aussie customs – the shoey.

And it appears Styles has also made a new addition to his setlist for the Australian leg of the tour, adding one of this country’s most enduring songs to his encore.

Footage from last night’s show at Perth’s HBF Park shows the former One Direction star guzzling liquid out of his own shoe, as fans cheered him on.

Requests for a visiting international artist to do a “shoey” have become a regular fixture of Australian concerts in recent years, with some artists obliging – and others refusing.

Post Malone was the latest big star to do a shoey onstage, also at a Perth concert earlier this month.

Country-pop star Kacey Musgraves memorably told a Sydney audience during her 2019 tour that she would not be heeding their demands: “That’s disgusting. I’m not f**king drinking out of your shoe,” she told them.

Styles’ Australian tour comes amid a golden period for the singer, first discovered on the UK X Factor back in 2010. From those humble beginnings, he just took out the coveted Album of the Year award at both this year’s Grammys and Brit Awards for his third solo album Harry’s House.

And Styles’ concert setlist was heavy on that album, with 11 of its 13 tracks performed in Perth last night. One Direction fans got just one song from his former band – the global smash That’s What Makes You Beautiful – while there was also a new addition to the setlist for the Australian leg of the tour: A cover of The Horses, the classic Rickie Lee Jones song famously covered by Daryl Braithwaite in 1991 and turned into an unofficial Australian anthem.

Earlier, there were chaotic scenes as hardcore fans waited in blistering heat for many hours before doors opened to get the best spots inside the stadium. Fans had been banned from camping out the night before.

Styles’ Australian tour continues on Friday with the first of two shows at Melbourne’s Marvel stadium, before moving to the Gold Coast and Sydney. Fellow recent Grammy and Brit-winners Wet Leg support Styles on all dates.

Harry Styles first gained fame in 2010 when he auditioned for the seventh season of the British competition series, He was eliminated at first but was brought back later to compete as part of the group One Direction, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

The group finished in third place, and shortly after, signed with Syco Records. One Direction went on to become one of the biggest boy bands of all time.

After five albums and four world tours, One Direction disbanded in 2016. This marked the beginning of Harry Styles’ solo career. A year later, he released the first single from his upcoming self-titled debut album.

“Sign of The Times” reached number one on the UK singles and number four on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Rolling Stones magazine named it the best song of the year, with critics likening it to the styles of Queen and David Bowie. Its accompanying music video was also a giant success, winning British Video of the Year at the Brit Awards.

When Harry Styles released his self-titled debut album in May 2017, it topped the charts in several countries, including the US, UK, and Australia. In September that year, Styles embarked on his first headlining concert tour.

As if 2017 couldn’t get any bigger for Styles, the year also saw his feature film debut. He was cast as a soldier named Alex in the Christopher Nolan movie Dunkirk.

Styles switched to a role behind the camera in 2018, serving as executive producer for the television sitcom Happy Together. He also began modeling for Gucci that year, marking the beginning of his fashion evolution. With an affinity for high-waisted pants, pearls, and sparkles, Harry is well-known for his refusal to stick to the rules. Many fans delight in capturing and sharing his tour outfits on social media.

In 2019, Styles released “Lights Up,” the lead single from his much-anticipated second album. The song debuted at number three in the UK. Styles’ second album Fine Line dropped in December of the same year. Not only did it instantly top the US charts, the album broke the record for the biggest sales debut by a British male artist. It was also named one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Fine Line produced five singles, including “Watermelon Sugar.” The song became Harry Styles’ first number-one single in the US.

Harry Styles was originally set to embark on a tour in 2020 to support 2019’s Fine Line. Unfortunately, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait too long. The tour kicked off in 2021 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In 2021, Harry Styles was nominated for three Grammy Awards, winning Best Pop Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar.” He also made a brief return to the big screen with a cameo appearance in Marvel’s “Eternals” film. He finished the year by launching his gender-neutral skin care line, Pleasing.

In 2022, Harry Styles dropped his third studio album, Harry’s House. The lead single, “As it Was,” debuted at number one in the UK and US. It topped the US charts for 15 consecutive weeks, making it the fourth longest-running number one single.

Harry’s House also topped both the UK and US charts, making Styles the first British solo artist to have four singles charting within the US Top 10 at the same time. At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, he won three awards, including Album of the Year.

Harry Styles' film career also continues to grow. He appeared in the 2022 thriller Don’t Worry Darling and the 2022 film adaptation of My Policeman.

As part of his ongoing Love On Tour, Styles has performed 15 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. The venue raised a permanent banner to mark his achievement. He’s the third artist in history to have received this honor.

From The X Factor stage to sold-out stadiums, Harry Styles has come a long way from his boy band roots. Thanks to his raw talent, excellent fashion sense, and down-to-earth personality, fans have joined him along for the ride

Live reviews

Last month, Harry Styles blew me away!

I had been looking forward to the One Direction concert for almost a year and I couldn't wait. Together with other Directioners we stood in line for several hours, but let me tell you this, it was definetely worth it!

Just before the concert, there were some rumors about Harry Styles. According to some fans, Harry's voice wasn't at its best and he had to give up some of his solos. I was really disappointed when I heard this, but he absolutely nailed it during his performance. He didn't stop once to catch his breath or drink some water. He'd wait for the song to finish before running over the stage to quickly drink some water. He was enthusiastic and his voice was amazing! He has a really good voice and he can sing any song, high pitch or low pitch. During happy and fun songs he's jumping around, but during the slower, more meaningful songs he really shows his emotions.

One Direction is a boyband that has their own sound. They have a lot of different songs, some are slow and others are perfect for a party. Their music can best be described as modern pop mixed with a bit of rock. During this concert, Harry really paid attention to the fans. He'd say how much he loves as and how grateful he is for our support. This really made us feel special and made the concert even better. He was also fooling around, making silly faces and throwing water onto us. You could see how much he enjoyed it and that he actually loves his fans. One direction is a popular boy band, with songs that everybody loves. A lot of people won't admit it but when they're in the car and a One Direction song comes on, they will sing along. I even know two people who are in their twenties and secretly like One Direction. One Direction is their so called guilty pleasure. So, if you weren't sure whether to visit a One Direction concert, I hope I have given you enough reasons to buy those tickets. You will definetely enjoy their performance and it will be a memorable experience. And I'll be able to say I told you so ;) And I'm sure that every person who has visited one of their concerts has enjoyed it. And they will all tell you that Harry Styles is an amazing artist!

my best friend introduced me to One Direction the year before their hiatus and solo adventures, that started my blessing and seeing Harry Styles live June 24 at Capital One Arena in DC continued that blessing! Kacey Musgraves opened up the show and her message of equality, love and kindness touched my heart, in addition to her beautiful voice that is. when she said " everyone is welcome here at Harry Styles shows" that made me have a tear or two in my eyes. Also loved the images during her songs Rainbow and Butterflies. The rubix cube countdown and crowd singing Olivia got me more and more excited until Harry came on stage, thought for a moment I was like a balloon and was going to pop. From start to finish is was a electric performance, full of emotions, fun, love and light banter...an unforgettable conversation with a fan who dressed up as a banana is a highlight I will remember always. It's rare these days to find a room full of people who just want to show a bit of love and kindness towards others. Let go and have fun and let tomorrow worry about tomorrow. The night changes but through love we can make those changes good ones. Wonderful show and hope I get to see him live again!! I will for sure be getting tickets If I lucky enough for the opportunity.

The Harry Styles concert at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith was an absolutely memorable occasion!

Upon arrival, there were a lot of people gathering in queues - to be fed into the Golden Circle and General Standing areas. My friend and I had Seated tickets so we wandered around and took in the area and atmosphere. Excitement was definitely in the air!

Closer to the starting time, we joined the queue that snaked around the block, until we were all quickly and efficiently checked by security and let into the venue. We made a beeline for the ladies loo's and the facilities were in good condition and there were enough to prevent people from queuing for the toilet.

Once in the venue, we were treated to MUNA, a pop-trio who opened for Harry! They were awesome to listen to and it was a great start to what promised to be an even better ending! Harry came on and everyone was on their feet for the rest of the show! We sang along to every word, that we could hear perfectly!

The show was amazing and Harry Styles live was a dream come true! It won't be the last time I see him, though!

It was absolutely amazing. The first band/singer who played was amazing (Maddy Jane). Harry was amazing - at the start of his show, he was so mysterious and beautiful. At the beginning, i cried because I was so happy that I was there, the fact that I was able to get tickets and to believe he was there and to actually see him in person. Throughout the show Harry was his cheeky and charming self, he was very entertaining and sang his songs beautifully. Harry sang covers and songs from his album 'Harry Styles'. The covers were Just a little bit of your heart, he sang Stockholm Syndrome and The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. He sang Kiwi 2 times and the fans who were at the concert sang Kiwi through by themselves. The management of the whole show was amazing, as was the security, the medical, the services and obviously so was Maddy Jane and Harry Styles. Overall it was a great experience - I would go there again for any other concert.

I have no words.

Everything about yesterday's concert was amazing. Harry was impeccable and his vocals were remarkable. The aesthetic was great and they had something different going for each song. The concert lasted about an hour and a half, and that's incredible having in mind that he only has released one album - I've been to other concerts in which the artist had 3 albums in their name and only stayed for a rough hour - . Going back o the music: he is great live. Sounds exactly like the studio version except for small changes he makes which only make the music more personal and credible. Don't think about it, just go see it for yourself. It'll be an unforgettable experience; take my word for it.

I've got nothing else to say, Harry's name speaks for itself.

I went to the Harry concert in hershey on the 14th of july and then on the 15th in Philly. I got questioned a lot why I wanted to go two days in a row but the two concerts were like day and night. Since harry worked with verified fan to get tickets to real fans the concert was everything. He preformed great at hershey And i still had one of the best days of my life but Philly was something else. The crowd knew all the words and was clear that they all wanted ti be there v badly when in herhsey it was because tickets were cheap. I loved both nights with all my heart and wont forget a second of it. His profmance was incredible and his personality was adorable

AHH hands down the BEST concert of my life!! He’s and incredible performer with a voice of an angel.. not only is he gifted vocally but also can play the guitar like a pro. Harry’s music is not like everyone else’s it’s unique and powerful and he really puts his souls out there when performing he sings with soul. He talks with the audience and interacts with people .. he also thanks his band and staff members he’s very polite. But I TOTALLY RECOMMEND seeing him I’m gonna find a way to do it every time he comes to my city. OH and Bonus his band totally rocks!! His band seems like such a cool group of people I hope next time to get front row.

The show was awesome. Harry always has such high energy and just is beyond interactive with his fans. He is genuinely a terrific person who really seems to want to make the experience the best for everyone. It was easy going and not rushed through. His smile is infectious and you can tell he enjoys what he is doing immensely. I would go and see him in concert over and over again. His music is blended well through out the concert to keep things from slowing down to much or just being wild and crazy. As an older fan of his, it was nice to see how inclusive he is with his entire fandom. The concert is just fantastic. If you get a chance you must see it.

april 5th 2018 was literally the best day of my life. since i´ve been following and loving harry since 2010 it was impossible for me to remain still and not say anything. harry is such a great performer, he knows how to entertain his audience. a kind and genuine person who can bring a smile on your face even if you never listened to his songs. my place was really frontal and 10m from the second stage. on the b-stage it was everything really touching and tears fell down the faces of 13.000 people who were just enjoying a simple show of a 24 year old guy. he is incredible!! every cent is worth the 2 hours you will spend inside the arena.

As he was: Harry Styles superfans flock to his tiny hometown's walking tour

HOLMES CHAPEL, England — Customers come from around the world to Simon Wakefield’s bakery in this village in northern England — and not just to sample his quality sausage rolls.

“We get lots and lots of fans,” he says, referring not only to W. Mandeville’s tasty product but also a notable ex-employee: Holmes Chapel’s most famous son and global pop megastar Harry Styles .

“People come in from all over the world ,” the fourth-generation baker says as groups of young tourists crowd into the bakery to take selfies and buy pastries. “All over the U.K., but then Brazil, the U.S., Australia, Japan, everywhere.”

A poster of Harry Styles inside the W. Mandeville bakery in Holmes Chapel, northern England, where the pop star once worked.

W. Mandeville is one of the stops lining the Harry Styles walking tour that began operating earlier this month in the singer’s hometown, which is about 20 miles from the northwestern city of Manchester. A local not-for-profit set up the tour after growing numbers of fans have flocked there in recent years, with all proceeds going into a fund for the village.

The superfans, known as “Harries,” are led to the Twemlow viaduct — residents say Harry had his first kiss there — which is covered in colorful messages to Harry and has even spawned its own hashtag. They’re also taken through the village, where many line up at Wakefield’s craft bakery to pose for photos with a poster of the former One Direction member as a teenager wearing an apron. Styles mentioned his Saturday job in his breakthrough interview on Britain’s talent show “The X Factor.”

At the Holmes Chapel train station, a life-size cardboard cutout of the “As It Was” singer greets fans, who can sign a message to their idol in a notebook. Those notebooks are later delivered to the star by his dad, Desmond, who lives locally.

Station manager Graham Blake, 62, explains that Styles’ father gave the last five books of fan messages to his son as a birthday present. “He said, ‘He’s got everything,’ and people have put down these stories from the heart. He said, ‘I’m going to wrap it up in a big red bow … because he does love his fans,’” Blake said of Desmond.

Fans on a guided tour of Harry Styles' hometown approach Twemlow viaduct in Holmes Chapel, northern England, where it is claimed he had his first kiss.

On the first day of the tour, a dozen devoted Directioners follow their guides through the village and out through the lush green countryside. Styles superfan Suzanne Tinsley shows her fellow walkers the lyrics she has tattooed on her arms, including “ Treat People With Kindness ,” her favorite song.

“Harry Styles has got me through a lot, he means the world to me,” Tinsley explains. “I know people say ‘It’s just a pop star,’ but when I feel like I can’t get through the day, I just listen to Harry and he makes me feel better,” she said. “He makes me smile.”

Messages are inscribed on the walls of the Twemlow viaduct near Harry Styles' hometown.

The walking tour runs weekly throughout the summer, with tickets priced at 20 British pounds, or roughly $25. Organizers say that demand has driven them to add additional weekend tours due to Taylor Swift fans in the area taking a detour during the U . K . leg of her tour . Swift and Styles dated between 2012 and 2013 and Harry even brought her home to see Holmes Chapel.

Styles also returned in 2013 to film a documentary about his life, “and ever since then, people have watched the documentary and thought, ‘I want to see where this superstar grew up,’” explains 16-year-old Ben McCormick, one of the tour’s guides. “So people are coming, they’re spending money in local businesses, they’re interacting with all the people in the village,” he added. “It’s created a really positive environment that all of us here can get involved with.”

Comedian Joe Lycett claims Harry Styles still owes him a Kit Kat as payment for painting: 'What do I do?'

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

" Harry Styles seemingly can’t shell out for a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter," the comedian wrote.

Well, this has gone from sweet to sour: Joe Lycett is asking Harry Styles to pay up.

The British comedian claimed in a hilarious TikTok on Saturday that the “Watermelon Sugar” singer still owes him a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter bar as payment for a painting that he made of Styles last year.

“Okay, first, a recap: last year, I did this painting of Harry Styles where I replaced his head with an egg,” Lycett explained before showing a picture of the painting, which is a riff on David Hockney’s 2023 portrait of Styles . “Unbelievably, he loved it so much that he asked me to buy it .”

The self-trained painter then cut to what appears to be an Instagram direct message from Styles, which he previously posted on Instagram , that read: “I think it’s incredibly important that I purchase this portrait from you. If you’d ever consider parting with this masterpiece, I’d like to hang it in my home immediately. Hope you’ve been well. H.”

So, Lycett explained that he and Styles discussed payment before agreeing upon “the very reasonable price of £6 and a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter.” He then showed a second previously-posted screenshot that seemingly featured the two haggling back and forth before Lycett’s final offer, which was allegedly hearted by Styles.

“So I sent the painting to the address that he provided, obviously I looked it up on Zoopla,” Lycett said, cutting to an image of the painting in a box alongside a certificate of authenticity that he’d signed. “And I put an invoice in there with a reminder that payment was now due and finally, after quite a lot of nudging, something arrived.”

The video then cut to a clip of Lycett sitting in his garden and opening a package, allegedly sent by Styles, that included a letter and cash. “Joe, it is with tremendous… something, that I attach six pounds and a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter,” Lycett read. “Thank you, a pleasure. H.”

The only problem? “There was no Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter,” he said. “Harry has now entirely stopped responding to me. God, I feel like Zayn [Malik]. What do I do? What does the note say and where is my Kit Kat?”

Lycett captioned the video, “Harry Styles seemingly can’t shell out for a Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter. It’s not the same as it was…”

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Lycett and Styles about the alleged peanut butter payment problem, but did not immediately hear back. However, this isn’t the first time that Lycett has discussed the portrait saga.

Prior to sending over the painting, he previously joked that he'd take legal action against Styles if he didn’t pay him back in an episode of RHLSTP with Richard Herring podcast last October. "I checked with a lawyer on this," he teased. "I'll send an invoice, if he doesn't pay within the 28 days, I'm taking him to the small claims court. I'm gonna do it!"

Australian states vying to host King Charles and Queen Camilla during visit

A solitary home on an outcrop on an island, surrounded by aqua coloured water and another island in the distance.

States and territories are vying to host King Charles III and Queen Camilla during their expected visit in October, as the federal government works with palace officials to put the final touches on the royal couple's itinerary.

Tourism authorities say past royal trips, which have resulted in images of Australian landmarks being beamed around the world, have prompted an influx of bookings and tens of millions in visitor spending.

Offers ranging from luxury tropical island stays, exclusive wildlife encounters, wine tours and opera performances have been put forward by the country's premiers at the request of the federal government.

A circular spa overlooking aqua blue seawater with a tiny island in the distance.

Giselle Bastin, a Flinders University expert on the British royal family, said it was unlikely the royal couple would visit every state and territory due to the king's ongoing treatment for cancer.

"The tours have become much shorter since the 50s," she said, adding that she expected the royal couple would do a six-day tour with about three appearances a day.

"While he's very keen on all the states and territories … it'll be whichever state has put in the best case for why they need to be visited."

Prince Charles and Camilla greet a girl in a pink beanie with two pom poms outside a hospital in Brisbane.

She is also convinced King Charles and Queen Camilla will enjoy the same rock-star reception experienced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2018, and Prince William and his wife Catherine four years earlier.

"Even though the Sussexes and the then-Cambridges had enormous media pull because of their youth and celebrity status, I think King Charles comes with that extra fairy dust of kingship," Dr Bastin said.

"The sovereign is a big deal for many Australians still."

So, what's on offer?

State and territory leaders were asked to develop itineraries aligned with two main themes — King Charles's first visit to Australia as sovereign and his interest in climate and sustainability.

Queensland's proposed royal itinerary includes a visit to Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, a trip to the Gold Coast and then north to Cairns, where the king would meet those impacted by January's devastating flooding event in the wake of Cyclone Jasper.

The couple would also travel to Lizard Island, an hour's flight north of the tropical city, where they have been offered the use of a luxury home and cottage — owned by Racing Queensland chairman Steven Wilson.

It is currently advertised at $30,000 a night, but the Queensland government said it would not cover the cost of accommodation.

Queensland's Tourism Minister Michael Healy said the king was no stranger to that part of the world — he holidayed on the picturesque Great Barrier Reef island during an unofficial trip in 1966 when he was aged 17.

"Others states and territories may be in a bidding war but Queensland is the obvious choice as the jewel in the crown of any royal visit," Mr Healy said.

"It also fits with his personal interests in disaster recovery and the climate as our region recovers from the devastating flooding impacts of post-Cyclone Jasper and coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef."

King Charles as a young man on remote Upolu Cay, with a big grin and surrounded by hundreds of birds in the air.

Ms Bastin said it would be "very hard" for the royal household to pass up Queensland.

"It seems to cover all the bases," she said.

"It would suit the king's personal agenda in that it's about the environment, sustainability … and the destruction of the natural environment — that is so much in his interest."

Western Australia's itinerary includes a visit to the WA Museum Boola Bardip, five renovated heritage buildings in the heart of Perth, and a walk along the Matagarup Bridge — a soaring pedestrian bridge.

The royal couple would also visit Rottnest Island, one of the state's most popular tourist destinations, for a Quokka spotting session.

"We have put forward a number of unique experiences for the king and queen to consider which showcase our state's incredible biodiversity, rich history and cultural offerings," a Western Australia government spokeswoman said.

A quokka smiles at the camera, with the ocean in the background.

"The UK is a priority tourism market for WA, with 111,000 visitors from the United Kingdom visiting in the year ending September 2023, injecting around $227 million into the state's economy."

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said a royal visit would not be complete without a trip to Sydney, the most "beautiful city on Earth".

The tour would include a visit to the Opera House, Bondi Beach and Harbour Bridge.

Sydney Opera House lit up at night.

"I don't think you could really come to Australia and convince people back home that you've come to the country without coming to New South Wales, in particular Sydney," Mr Minns said.

Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff said he wanted King Charles to see "what it means to be a Tasmanian".

"Whether it be our cool climate wines, unique heritage, reputation as a renewable energy powerhouse or craftsmanship, we hope to have the opportunity to show King Charles what makes Tasmania the best place to live, work and raise a family," he said.

Royal visits can generate millions but come at cost to taxpayers

Tourism experts say royal visits often result in a flurry of bookings and enquiries from visitors.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's visit to Australia in 2014 saw stunning photographs of some of Australia's most famed landmarks — including Uluru in the Northern Territory – showcased around the world.

Tourism Australia reported a 125 per cent increase in visitors from Great Britain to its website on the day of the couple's Uluru visit.

Daniel Gschwind from the Griffith Institute for Tourism said it was advertising that money could not buy.

"The king is one of the most famous people on the planet and he draws attention to the places he sees and visits," he said.

"The king will be travelling with hundreds of media representatives and it will certainly draw attention to the many attractions we do have."

The then Prince of Wales smiles in a grey suit as he meets scores of women in Brisbane.

Security and transport is typically paid for by the federal government, states and territories, but the royals pay for their accommodation.

But republicans say the cost of the tour should be footed entirely by the royal family.

Australian Republic Movement chief executive officer Isaac Jeffrey said the cost of royal visits often ran "into the millions".

"This gentleman from the other side of the world lives 17,000km away … He's got a $37 billion property portfolio and he makes hundreds of millions of pounds every year," he said.

"He could pay his own way. Australians are suffering at the moment from a cost-of-living crisis and we don't think that we should be footing the bill for rich international celebrities who only come to visit us every 10 years or so, for a couple of days."

Headshot of Australian Republic Movement's Isaac Jeffrey, he wears a black shirt and blue jacket.

Mr Jeffrey said he would like to see the king and queen venture beyond the capital cities.

"I think it'd be great to see the king and queen of Australia visiting regional Australia," Mr Jeffrey said.

"He could check out some of the big things — the Big Prawn in Ballina or the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour."

The king is yet to formally announce the tour, which would coincide with the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Samoa in October.

The Big Prawn.
