Safety & Security

The Doncaster Dome aims to put the customer’s safety as a priority. Please ensure you read this information ahead of every visit as the procedures differ over time and between venues.

Particularly in large audience events, we implement heightened security procedures which are tailored to the specific requirements of the event. However, because of the sensitive nature of these protocols, we cannot elaborate further on the specific details. We would ask that customers be patient and understanding where this might impact on queue times and/or the prohibition of items permitted on the premises. We will make every effort to communicate this information to customers as quickly and clearly as we can.

We would always recommend customers check our website & social media pages before they travel & that they also arrive at the venue as early as they can to minimise delays in accessing the venue.

CCTV and surveillance are in place across the venue.

For your safety, customers may be searched before they are allowed access to the venue. If you or your bags aren't searched and/or wanded that doesn't mean the stewards are not doing their job - searchers are just one component of the security measures in place.

It is a criminal offence to bring smoke bombs, flares & fireworks into the venue.

No bags larger than an A3 size (approximately 40cm x 35cm x 19cm) will be permitted in the venue and there is no facility to store items at the venue. Please keep the number of personal belongings you bring with you to an absolute minimum - any items you bring to an event will be subject to additional searches and slow your entry to the venue & may, in some cases, prevent your entry.

The additional security procedures will slow entry to the venue and we advise that everyone arrives as close to the doors open time is possible.

Please never leave your items unattended and report any suspicious activity to a venue steward or DCLT staff.

First aiders will be in attendance and will assist if required. Please alert a member of staff if you or another member of the public require first aid assistance

We thank you for your understanding & patience for the additional entry waiting time the above measures may lead to and ask that you forward these procedures on to other customers coming to an event at the The Doncaster Dome.

Above all be safe and enjoy your visit.

If you have any further questions or concerns not addressed in this statement, you can contact us by email at [email protected] or via our social media pages Facebook or Twitter .

According to Layered Reality's founder and CEO Andrew McGuinness, the show will be "a next-generation tribute to the musical legend" and give new fans a chance to enjoy the historic performer.

But how can Elvis Presley fans get tickets to Elvis Evolution and when will the shows take place? Here's everything you need to know.

Depart London on your scheduled direct flight to Nashville. On arrival, you will be met by a local tour director and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure in Nashville, 'Music City USA', a city set amidst rolling farmland and known worldwide as the home of country music.

This morning, embark on a tour of Tennessee's rhythmic capital, Nashville, whose energetic ambience is characterised by its vibrant music scene, neon-lit avenues and bustling honky-tonks. For music lovers, your tour begins with a visit to Studio B, Nashville's oldest surviving recording studio regularly used by stars such as Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and The Everley Brothers, to name just a few . You will then head to the Country Music Hall of Fame; a huge museum of all things country and western and home to films, videos, costumes and Elvis Presley's solid gold Cadillac, continue to the Johnny Cash Museum to admire historical documents, awards and costumes before delighting in the chance to visit one of Nashville's famous honkytonks playing live country music, as well as the impressive Parthenon - the only full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon and the reason behind Nashville's nickname 'Athens of the South'. Finish the day at the amazing Grand Ole Orpy Show.

Having seen the highlights of Nashville spend a day at leisure to further explore one of the world's great musical cities. This evening, have dinner at Ole Red Nashville for a great night of Southern food, musical sounds and hospitality.

The tour will head for Memphis, yet another highlight of this Southern Musical Medley tour. Travel through central Memphis and admire architectural landmarks such as Court Square Fountain, the Lincoln American Tower and Calvary Episcopal Church whilst your guide entertains you with tales about this rowdy riverside town and its inhabitants. This afternoon, take a trip to the National Civil Rights Museum built on the spot where Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968. Telling the story of the fight for freedom from slavery through to the Civil Rights Movement of the early fifties and sixties, prepare yourself for an emotional and unforgettable experience. In the evening, head to the old-school Blues City Cafe for blues music and soul food.

Experience another first for the music lover - a visit to Graceland, the iconic home of Elvis and final resting place of The King. Enjoy an audio tour through the decadent and quirky rooms including the 'jungle den' where he used to watch football games and kung-fu movies. This afternoon visit Sun Studios, where Elvis recorded his first hit and where Jerry Lee Lewis's piano still stands. Tonight, is at leisure for you to explore and experience the many bars, restaurants, and music scene of Memphis.

Today the tour leaves Memphis and follows the path of the mighty Mississippi River and travels deep into the heart of the Mississippi Delta via Jackson before crossing the border into Louisiana. Driving across Lake Pontchartrain on the longest causeway in the world you will arrive in New Orleans, a melange of European style and Caribbean flavours and a city full of flamboyance, festivities and a whole lot of soul. We've arranged to take you to the New Orleans School of Cooking this evening for an entertaining demonstration from one of their Creole/Cajun experts with dinner included and the chance to try a New Orleans speciality such as gumbo, jambalaya or pralines.

In the morning, visit some of New Orleans' highlights including the famous French Quarter taking in Bourbon Street, the art galleries and antique shops of Royal Street and Jackson Square with its many artists, museums and fortune tellers. From here you will take a visit to a local distillery and savour the tastes of up to three different spirits. The rest of the day and evening are for you to enjoy at your leisure, but make sure you live the New Orleans' motto 'Laissez les bons temps rouler' - let the good times roll!

Today is a free day for you to enjoy New Orleans in your own time. Stroll around the market in the French Quarter, stop for some lunch at one of the many oyster bars and restaurants, shop for antiques and trinkets or book yourself a tour through the Louisiana bayou aboard an airboat. This evening you can take your pick of the many excellent bars, eateries and music venues for which this laidback city, The Big Easy is world renowned.

This morning it's time to leave New Orleans and travel to Houston to catch your return flight to the UK the next day. There will be a stop along the way in Lake Charles for an hour or so for you to stretch your legs and have some lunch. Arriving in Houston in the early hours of the evening there will be a short orientation tour before returning to the hotel.

The final day includes a visit to Houston's Space Centre, home to NASA and the world's largest collection of moon rocks and lunar samples on public view. The centre features more than 400 space artifacts, exhibits, experiences and theatres related to the exciting future and remarkable past of America’s human space-flight program. Sadly, your southern tour of music, culture and history is at an end and it is time to depart for the airport to catch your return flight back to the UK or continue on to your chosen extension.

Tour Reviews

Michaela Cadden

The Gaylord in Nashville was superb, the Holiday Inn in Memphis was really good, the Royal St Charles in New Orleans was poor, but the Sheraton in Houston was great.

Philip Wilson

First class hotels I have never stayed before on any other tour in such nice hotels, with the facilities I want. The people on the tour, we all met at Nashville Airport on arrival with the tour guide, we were all strangers to each other, we all left at the end of the the tour all as friends, I have never been on a tour where every one is so pleasant and kind and we did have a few good laughs and a great cross range of ages which was so very nice.

Brian Cripps

We thought all the hotels were extremely good apart from the Holiday Inn Express in Atlanta which was 'somewhat tired' and not to the same standard as the others

Lyn Richards

Cannot believe the quality of hotels, absolutely amazing

Co-founded by Abba’s Björn Ulvaeus, Pophouse has held discussions with the owners of Presley ’s intellectual property to bring back the US star in digital avatar form for live shows, according to people familiar with the matter.

Sony Music owns the rights to the musician’s work, while intellectual property including Presley’s image and likeness is owned by investment company Authentic Brands Group. The discussions between Pophouse, Sony and ABG have been focused on a commercial partnership rather than a sale of the music rights or intellectual property, some of the people said.

This means that a deal would be different from the recent $300mn acquisition of the music and image rights to the rock band Kiss. Pophouse will create a live music show featuring avatars of the members of Kiss, similar to Abba Voyage, the London show that features digital versions of the members of the Swedish band playing their hits.

There is no certainty a deal will be reached, people close to the talks added. Abba’s Ulvaeus hinted at the potential partnership at a private equity conference in Berlin earlier this month, saying he “would like to work with Elvis. I would like to see the young Elvis come alive again”. He spoke alongside Conni Jonsson, chair of Swedish private equity group EQT and a co-founder of Pophouse, who said that while Presley performed for American audiences during his career “maybe the rest of the world would like to see Elvis Presley”. Fans in London will be able to see a holographic version of Presley already from this November when a venture called Layered Reality launches its “Elvis Evolution” experience that will incorporate virtual reality and holographic projections, according to its website. Pophouse began investing in music catalogues two years ago by acquiring the majority share of the catalogues of Swedish dance acts Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. The company is the lead investor and co-producer behind the Abba Voyage virtual concert. Pophouse has also acquired Cyndi Lauper’s music catalogue. Per Sundin, chief executive of Pophouse, was previously managing director of Universal Music Sweden and president of Universal Music in the Nordic region. Pophouse, Sony and ABG declined to comment.

The Elvis Birthday Tour 2025

MEMPHIS AND TUPELO

Sunday 5th to Sunday 12th January 2025

MEMPHIS, TUPELO, LAS VEGAS AND PALM SPRINGS

Sunday 5th to Sunday 19th January 2025

Who’d have thought so many people would still be celebrating the life and work of any singer or movie star on what would have been their 90th Birthday and nearly half a century after they’d left us...well we would obviously...because we’re Elvis fans, but can you name anyone else (in the whole of history?) other than Elvis that had such exceptional talent that makes us feel this way? And you can bet we’ll be heading to his beloved Graceland home in droves to prove it.

elvis tour from uk

Come with us - fellow fans and Elvis Travel professionals, on a journey of both  celebration and discovery  as we offer  a choice of  two great  itineraries over Elvis’ 90th Birthday period.  For those with limited  time we have a weeklong tour featuring  the best of Memphis and Tupelo. With a choice of hotels (and prices) in Memphis, a

full day visit to Graceland, another full day  touring the Elvis sights of Memphis, yet another visiting Tupelo and with two more  free to explore and enjoy the city that

Elvis loved.

During this Birthday period Elvis Presley  Enterprises will also be arranging  numerous events including concerts,  interviews and movie shows at Graceland  for you to book and enjoy.

Memphis and  Tupelo never  disappoint the  true fan, and  during our  comprehensive  guided tours of  both we’ll show  you so much of  what shaped  Elvis’ life. A boy  born in poverty whose talent and belief  took him to the very top of his trade  making him the greatest performer the  world has ever seen. Yet Elvis remained  humble, gracious and generous to

the very end and left us a legacy of  entertainment the like of which had never  been known before. What better reasons

do we need to celebrate his Birthday.

And for those with more time (or crave for some winter warmth) we are also offering  an extension tour featuring two places  so significant to Elvis’ life – including Las  Vegas where he really did become ‘King of  the Strip’ and Palm Springs, where he too  would enjoy the desert sunshine.

A choice of two great itineraries....

Day 1.  Sunday 5th January 2025

Morning departure from Heathrow Airport for  our flight to the USA. As there are no direct  flights from London to Memphis we will change

Day 2. Monday 6th January  -  Graceland Day

Morning tour of the Graceland mansion with  the rest of the day for viewing Presley Motors  Car Museum, Elvis’ aircraft and many other  Elvis Exhibits and shops within the Graceland

Day 3. Tuesday 7th January - Elvis Sights

Today we’ll show you the major tourist sights  of Memphis but so much more as well as we  explore Elvis’ life here. You’ll see where Elvis  went to school, church, shopped, where else  he lived, worked, recorded, performed and l ots more on what is regarded as the most  comprehensive Elvis tour that there is. Included  are visits to Sun Studio and the Presley’s  Lauderdale Courts apartment.

Day 4. Wednesday 8th January - Elvis’ Birthday

Join Elvis fans from around the world at  Graceland for the annual Proclamation of Elvis  Presley Day before boarding the coach for the  drive to Tupelo, Mississippi where Elvis was  born. Visit the Birthplace with its Elvis Museum  and additional attractions, enjoy some Birthday  Cake and then tour ‘the friendliest city in  the South’ to see the many Elvis sights there.

Among with many other places, we’ll show you  where he received his first musical influences,  where he sang at the Mississippi-Alabama State  Fair and where his mother Gladys purchased his  first guitar. What a day.

Day 5. and Day 6. Thursday 9th and Friday  10th January - Two days at leisure

The days are yours to enjoy the Elvis events in  the Graceland complex, to explore or relax. Take  a stroll along the Mississippi River, visit the Stax,  Rock & Soul, Cotton or Civil Rights museums,  enjoy some retail therapy or bop your way

Elvis Presley.

Days 12 and 13. Thursday 16th and  Friday 17th January

PLEASE NOTE

As with most airlines the trans-Atlantic operators adjust their prices according to demand and as you can imagine there are lots of Elvis fans heading for Memphis for these celebrations, so demand is high. We had managed to hold the price of these tours until 15th May 2024 but have now been advised by the airlines that any additional seats will cost us an extra £138 - so will we have to add this amount to the above prices.

From experience we know that if this is the increase some 7 months ahead, we can almost certainly expect a further increase between now and the end of the year (possibly more than one), so if you are seriously thinking of booking this tour then we advise you to do it soon before the price goes up yet again as demand continues to grow.

Not in the UK?

For fans living outside the UK we are happy to quote a price excluding the air fare so that you can  arrange your own flights from and back to your own country. For further details please  contact us at :-  [email protected]  or phone us on  (UK +44) 1473 621 564

ROOM-MATE SERVICE

If you are travelling alone but would like to share  (either for company or to keep the cost down)  we will gladly endeavour to pair you up with  another fan of similar age/gender. This is  something that we regularly do and have found  that long-lasting friendships are formed as a  result. Should it not be possible to pair you up  you would be offered single accommodation at  the appropriate price.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is mandatory that all passengers have sufficient  travel insurance. Cover is not effective until the  premium has been paid and your application  approved by the insurers. If you are relying on

travel insurance provided by your bank or credit  card provider as part of their service please check  that their cover is sufficient, in particular with  regard to cancellation charges.

FLIGHTS AND TIMINGS

The flights will be in economy class on a major  scheduled airline from London’s Heathrow

Airport.  Flight times will be confirmed on your  Confirmation-Invoice although these are subject

to change. The baggage allowance is 50lbs  (23kgs) per person.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING

The weather in January can be very variable  anyway but in these days of Global Warming  and climate change it is nearly impossible to  predict with any degree of accuracy.  However,  in Memphis and Tupelo it is likely to be quite  cold so take plenty of layers so if we are lucky  enough to have a warm spell then you won’t be  caught out. In Las Vegas whilst the nights can be

cool the daytime temperatures can reach into  the 60’sF, and in Palm Springs even the low 70’sF,  so best take some mid-weight clothing with a  comfortable pair of walking shoes or trainers for  sightseeing.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour UK setlist and surprise song predictions

Taylor Swift in a white dress performing onstage on the Eras Tour

The Lover House is burned down, Speak Now is fighting for her life, and we’re all afraid of little old Taylor Swift as she brings the Eras Tour to the UK, with the nation preparing for her first concert tonight.

The 34-year-old’s mammoth three-and-a-half-hour set has sold out arenas in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, and six shows in London, kicking off in Edinburgh on Friday night.

UK-based Swifties have really gone all out, with Capital FM releasing a radio station dedicated to the All Too Well icon.

Paris night one revealed an entirely new tour version as the Tortured Poets Department took centre stage and the entire Eras Tour was changed, from bodysuits to choreography.

Fans had already speculated there might be a switch up after she released the Eras Tour film before her tour had finished but this was more than our wildest dreams.

It’s no surprise that Taylor has added in the new album but as the Eras Tour was already incredibly long, some songs were left on the cutting room floor.

The Archer, tis the damn season, and even the last great American dynasty were all brutally ripped from the setlist.

New glittering bodysuits and dresses were rolled out for every era except Reputation, which is the last in the album in the show to get its Taylor’s Version.

So far no vault track appears on her main setlist, only core album songs have a permanent place on the Eras Tour.

Swifties have been left in utter disbelief as Folklore and Evermore were combined into one era, known as the sisters era, to keep the time down.

Speak Now was reduced back down to one song — RIP Long Live — and debut remains reserved for surprise songs in the acoustic set.

Let’s be honest Taylor could perform for six hours and fans would still want more but even she would probably find that exhausting.

After so much upheaval, let’s see what Taylor Swift’s setlist has been left looking like and what that means for the UK.

We’re still going strong opening with Lover but even her seventh studio album and big opener couldn’t survive Taylor’s great setlist war. We’ll miss you, The Archer.

  • Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince
  • Cruel Summer
  • You Need To Calm Down

Fearless Era

The album that made her a superstar remains unscathed but since there were only three songs for this era it’s hardly surprising.

However, a new tasselled bodysuit was revealed and it looks incredibly similar to one worn on the Our Song hitmaker’s original Fearless tour in 2009.

  • You Belong With Me

I’m never recovering from this pic.twitter.com/rNTY9smbVH — B R I T T A N Y 🤍 (@sobrittgoes) May 9, 2024

In a position switch up, the setlist now moved from Fearless into Red instead of Evermore but the songs remain unchanged and All Too Well remains firmly in pride of place.

  • We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
  • I Knew You Were Trouble
  • All Too Well (10 Minute Version)

Speak Now Era

Justice for Speak Now, already balding but now scalped as Long Live has been once more removed.

We’re begging Taylor, I will sacrifice I Knew You Were Trouble for just one more purple-painted dream.

Reputation Era

Yet to have its Taylor’s Version released, Reputation remains unchanged on the mammoth set but has been moved to after Red and Speak Now rather than before.

It’s also the only section that has not had an outfit change, the day that red and black bodysuit goes we’re all going to lose our minds.

  • …Ready For It?
  • Don’t Blame Me
  • Look What You Made Me Do

Folklore/Evermore Era

Once separate totalling 12 songs, Taylor’s lockdown albums have been combined into one – with a lot of casualties.

‘We have reunited the sister albums,’ the singer told the Paris crowd, joking it could be called ‘everlore’ or ‘folkmore’.

Removed from the setlist are: Tis the damn season, the last great American dynasty, invisible string, and tolerate it.

  • Cardigan (folklore)
  • Betty (folklore)
  • Champagne Problems (evermore)
  • August (folklore)
  • Illicit Affairs (folklore)
  • My Tears Ricochet (folklore)
  • Marjorie (evermore)
  • Willow (evermore)

Mother’s favourite child remains safe and sound with no changes and still following the Folklore set. Honestly, we would have loved to see some of this swapped out for the vault tracks which stormed the charts last year.

Bad Blood remains on the setlist, we wonder if Kendrick Lamar is free to come do a surprise live feature…

  • Blank Space
  • Shake It Off
  • Wildest Dreams

The Tortured Poets Department

Initially, Swifties weren’t sure if this would be added and if so how could the 31 tracks possibly be whittled down into just a handful?

A new era brings blessings of brand new outfits, a floating stage set piece, gunshot choreography, and of course some insane vocal moments.

Taylor has spoken and these are (probably) her favourites off TTPD.

  • But Daddy I Love Him
  • So High School
  • Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me
  • The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
  • I Can Do It with a Broken Heart

Taylor Swift singing into a microphone wearing a white dress

The stage she’s gliding around on during Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? IS A MIRROR!!!!! The audience can see themself in the mirror as she’s singing “You caged me and then you called me crazy. I am what I am ’cause you trained me” 💀💀💀 pic.twitter.com/YuV6A21dLs — 🩶beatriz🤍 – ttpd (@coneyisland131) May 9, 2024

Surprise songs

Each night Taylor plays two surprise songs from her vast discography, these have included This Love and Clean from 1989 and Dear John and Last Kiss from Speak Now.

Also known as the acoustic set, Paris Night One fans were (obviously) treated to Paris from her album Midnights played on piano and loml on guitar from TTPD.

In this leg of the tour, Taylor has taken to singing some gut-wrenching mashups and announced she could sing whatever she wanted so any song is on the table.

There are some songs it’s likely she’ll reserve for London, such as London Boy and So Long, London but the rest as up for grabs.

Since the slate was wiped clean with this new leg, and Taylor’s penchant for singing You’re On Your Own Kid repeatedly, there’s no way to predict the Mastermind’s moves.

Midnights Era

Closing out the show is the iconic era which gave us ‘Karma is the guy on the chiefs ’ and that chair choreography — Midnights.

Her 2022 album gets sparkling new outfits, although the Lavender Haze fluffy lilac jacket has not been swapped out.

  • Lavender Haze
  • Midnight Rain
  • Vigilante Shit

What is the old Eras Tour setlist?

With so many changes, here’s what Taylor’s Eras Tour used to look like for a setlist run

  • tis the damn season
  • champagne problems
  • tolerate it
  • invisible string
  • the last great american dynasty
  • illicit affairs
  • my tears ricochet

When is the Eras Tour in the UK?

The Eras Tour comes to the UK from tonight , beginning in Edinburgh for three nights before heading to Liverpool, Cardiff, and London .

Who knows what Taylor will have in store for fans given her love for keeping everyone on their toes.

Given the huge overhaul, this is likely to be the setlist for the UK gigs and all her European dates but might have minor tweaks thrown in.

Of course, if you’re sad your favourite track is not on there is always a chance it could be one of the surprise songs as she has no rules around what she can and can’t sing here.

We’re hoping for Picture to Burn, Suburban Legends, The Black Dog , or Hits Different but that tells you far too much about us.

What is Paramore's Eras Tour setlist?

The iconic pop punk band Paramore will be opening for Taylor Swift at the UK gigs and they revealed their setlist in Paris.

Of course, it is much shorter but still packed with hits from the chart-topping band, fronted by Taylor’s long time friend Hayley Williams.

  • Hard Times (+ Heart Of Glass)
  • Burning Down The House
  • Still Into You
  • Caught In The Middle
  • Brick By Boring Brick
  • The Only Exception
  • That’s What You Get
  • Ain’t It Fun
  • This Is Why

Travis share delicate new single ‘Bus’ and announce 2024 UK tour

The song finds frontman Fran Healy daydreaming of an escape "to better days", with its video featuring a fleeting cameo from Adam Buxton

Travis

Travis have shared a new single called ‘Bus’ and announced a UK headline tour for 2024. Listen and find all the details below.

The track is the third preview of the Scottish band’s 10th studio album ‘L.A. Times’ , which is due for release on July 12 via BMG ( pre-order/pre-save here ).

“I thought it was just us/ Waiting on this bus/ Waiting on a gust of wind to blow us away/ Away to better days, away to better days ,” sings frontman Fran Healy in the chorus of the delicate and reflective song.

In a statement, he explained: “I was on holiday, staring out the window, watching all the boats bobbing on the sea. I was trying to write a song and nothing was coming. It reminded me of all the years I spent waiting on buses. You never think it’s going to come, but if you wait long enough it usually turns up.

“Looking out at the sea at all the little sailing boats, I imagined all the bands and artists sitting in them waiting on that freak gust of wind to blow them to fame and fortune. We caught a huge one in ’99 so I can testify to the random nature of it.”

Healy added: “In the middle of all these thoughts came a cool little melody and the song was written a few minutes later.”

Recommended

‘Bus’ is accompanied by an official video, which was shot in Scotland and directed by Healy. The visuals feature a fleeting guest appearance from actor, comedian and podcaster Adam Buxton – who is a friend of the band.

“I’m honoured to have at least part of my face featured in the new video from a band I love,” said Buxton. “The dream is to one day land the full body cameo, but you’ve got to start somewhere.”

In the video, we find Travis waiting at a bus stop in the Highlands as Healy daydreams of an escape. The group also perform the song at the side of the road to pass the time. When a yellow and green double-decker eventually turns up, it drives straight past the musicians.

Tune in above.

Additionally, Travis have announced a UK headline tour for this winter – including a performance at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on December 13.

Other shows are scheduled to take place in Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Margate, Bristol, Eastbourne, Sheffield, Newcastle and Glasgow throughout the month.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST next Friday (June 14) – you’ll be able to buy yours here . Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale by pre-ordering ‘L.A. Times’ here (no purchase necessary).

Travis will be supporting The Killers across their UK and Ireland arena tour this summer. Speaking to NME in March , Healy said: “It’s gonna be great. We’ve been friends for years and years now and Ronnie [Vannucci Jr.] and Brandon [Flowers ] are the sweetest guys.

“It’s nice to be a support band again too. I love being a support band. It reminds me of when we supported Oasis . We went on every single night to blow them off the stage, which is what a good support band should be doing. You go on, the other band watch you from the wings going, ‘Fuck’. And then they come on and do a better show because of it.”

Travis’ previous single, ‘Raze The Bar’, features The Killers frontman Flowers and Coldplay’s Chris Martin .

Well that's all from us tonight, thank you for following along.

If you are heading back from Murrayfield Stadium, get home safe, and if you're already in bed, have a good sleep.

Rest those vocal cords Swifties - Tay Tay will be back tomorrow.

Sadly, the show has come to an end.

Taylor Swift fans will definitely be hoarse tomorrow after constantly singing, cheering and shouting for more than three hours.

Before we close our live coverage, here's a look at some of the best pictures from tonight's concert...

By Katie Spencer , arts and entertainment correspondent at Murrayfield Stadium

Taylor Swift has smashed a triumphant set in front of enormous crowds in Edinburgh on her record-breaking Eras tour, telling fans it was "the wildest way to welcome a lass".

As she welcomed the crowd, she announced it was officially the highest attended stadium show in Scottish history.

"Oh hi," she casually told the more than 70,000 people who came to see her perform.

The 34-year-old star initially took to the stage in a diamante encrusted corseted leotard and bejewelled cowboy boots.

She later admitted: "This tour has been the most fun I've had in my entire life….my one regret now is that I really should have come to perform in Scotland more.

"I can't stop staring at you, I'm captivated by this audience."

Blasting through her biggest hits in a set of 40+ songs, on stage for more than three hours, she promised to take fans on a "grand adventure" they'd never forget. She certainly did that.

"After tonight, you're going to think about us and the memories we made," she promised.

The evening was "unforgettable", she told the crowd, while her last song of the night, Karma, was dedicated to the crowd.

"Edinburgh you have given us everything you could possibly give us tonight."

It was a pinch yourself evening for Swifties fortunate enough to get a ticket. Lyrics memorised, costumes perfected.

The show a musical marathon which demonstrated not only why Swift is arguably one of the greatest songwriters of modern pop music but also one of the world's most accomplished performers.

The show itself, paced perfectly to hold the audience's interest with slick dance routines and theatrical, at times fantastical, staging.

The screams of support for her most famous hits were deafening. Countless fans leaving Murrayfield hoarse after she told the story of her eight Eras whilst delivering the ultimate singalong.

This was a long day for many, a hardened few sat outside since dawn to be among the first in-line to secure a front row spot.

"Anything's worth it for Taylor," Julia had told me at 7am outside the stadium. Her friend admitting she'd "sell my kidneys, probably both lungs" to get close to the star.

Why does she elicit such a reaction? Despite her billionaire status, Swift has somehow remained an artist whose voice remains real, authentic and honest.

Her songwriting - a shared diary of sorts - resonating all the more for her openness about her flaws, bad break-ups, sharing with fans not only the joy of falling in love, but the heartbreak.

The crowd at Murrayfield were word-perfect for her hits like You Belong With Me, the stadium echoing with noise during We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

If performing songs from her Tortured Poets Department Era - her latest album written about her ill-fated London loves - took on more poignancy for Swift this being the UK leg of her tour, she gave no indication on stage.

An all but faultless performance but for the acoustic section of her show, where the star was forced to briefly stop playing the guitar, saying: "My hand has frozen in a weird cramp... this is so embarrassing... its like performing with a claw. No one relates."

While it's understandable that many balk at the stupidly expensive price of some VIP packages, few could question Taylor's commitment to offering her fans the ultimate experience. The confetti canons and fireworks, a needless distraction really from what she does best - singing out.

A one-woman economy boosting machine, Swift's 15 UK shows are projected by some to boost the UK economy by almost £1bn with fans shelling out, not only on tickets, but accommodation, travel, and pre-show parties.

I spoke to people who travelled here from Spain, The Netherlands, America, India and even Australia.

Fans who'd spent months planning their costumes, painstakingly threading bracelets, embroidering jackets, which is undoubtedly half the fun.

While this level of pop obsession is nothing new, that one artist can still achieve this in an age where we are swamped with musical choice speaks volumes as to the power of Swift's music.

Forget about politicians touring the country, Taylor Swift's whereabouts will be what's dominating the national conversation for vast swathes of the country over the next month.

While some may scoff at the tweeness of swapping friendship bracelets, dressing-up and glitter - there is a delightfulness to being a part of the Swift crowd which is a warm and welcoming world.

Swift's proving herself to be, not only a prolific songwriter, but the ultimate showwoman.

That's it Swifties, the first UK Eras tour show has come to an end.

Taylor Swift closed Murrayfield Stadium with a huge confetti cannon display as she performed Karma for her adoring fans.

The superstar has been performing for more than three hours and the crowd has spent that time cheering, clapping and singing their hearts out.

She will be back at the stadium for another show tomorrow night, and the night after, being moving on to Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.

Rewinding slightly to the start of the show, here's the moment Taylor Swift spoke to her fans in Edinburgh during her opening act.

The superstar welcomed them to the Eras tour, telling them the last time she was in Scotland was more than a decade ago.

"Tonight's concert is the most highly attended show in Scottish history," she said.

"This is the wildest way to welcome a lass to your city."

Murrayfield Stadium was lit up by fans during Taylor Swift's performance of Daylight from her Lover album.

Thousands of fans held up their glowing bracelets and phones during the song.

Here's a clip...

The show is almost coming to an end and Swift is going out in her Midnights era.

She kicks off with a rendition of Lavender Haze, emerging on the stage in a faux fur purple coat and black knee-high boots.

Taylor has moved to her acoustic section now - a moment fans have been waiting for.

This is the time the superstar performs two surprise tracks, which change at every show.

Many had thought she might pick Castles Crumbling from Speak Now as a reference to Edinburgh Castle.

But as she begins the set, with Would've Should've Could've from Midnights, she is forced to briefly stop playing her guitar.

"My hand has frozen in a weird cramp…this is so embarrassing….its like performing with a claw," she tells the crowd.

"No one relates."

A baker has created a Swift-themed cake to celebrate the star's arrival and is hoping it makes it to her.

Cathryn Klawikowska, 34, took eight hours to bake the nine-layer red velvet treat.

Edyta Matysiak took three days to make the figurine.

Ms Klawikowska, head designer at 3D Cakes near Murrayfield, hopes it will end up backstage at the stadium.

She added: "I'm hoping to get this to Taylor though."

Swift turns now to her latest album - the Tortured Poets Department.

She kicks off the era with But Daddy I Love Him and comes out wearing a gorgeous white gown covered in lyrics.

"I love you, it's ruining my life" can be seen across it - lyrics from her biggest hit of the album Fortnight.
