Capt Andrea was fabulous and handled the boat with ease during high winds. Bob was a fantastic first mate and provided a lot of interesting facts about the area, some that were even new to me as a native Floridian. We saw a manatee, dolphins and plenty of birds. We will definitely cruise with this company again.

Went on a tour today and it was awesome! Bill was our captain and Kurt was our guide ( he is also a Navy veteran). They were both super nice and funny guys and did a great job! Very knowledgeable of the wildlife and history of the area. We saw about 6-8 dolphins and a pair of manatees! Tons of birds along the way as well. Definitely recommend for a fun couple hours on a boat! You can even bring your own drinks on board.

We took our 87 year old friend out for his birthday with some friends and had an absolute blast. Captains Jeff and Bill were attentive and accommodating. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and interacted with each passenger. He made sure to acknowledge our birthday boy and even after the cruise was completed spent time talking with us regarding the history of the area. Definitely recommend. An affordable gem in the heart of Cocoa Beach.

It was a peaceful ride and our guide was very knowledgeable; I learned so much. The family especially enjoyed the part when the kiddos were able to steer the boat. We also saw some beautiful homes and the dolphins graced us with their presence at the very end.

Absolutely!  There are plenty of spots throughout Cocoa Beach where you can see dolphins both from afar and up close and personal.

One of the best places to see them is Jetty Park .

From this thirty-five acre park, you can see entire pods of dolphins while enjoying a picnic, taking in a sunset, or walking the 1,200 foot fishing pier.

Another great spot to view them is Cocoa Beach Pier . This 800-foot long pier is home to restaurants, bars, boutique shops, and a tiki tavern.

Here, you can see plenty of dolphins feeding and playing, and may even get lucky and spot a whale or two!

Of course, the best way to view them is to get out on the water with one of the wonderful wildlife or dolphin cruises mentioned above!

What Is The Best Time Of Year To See Dolphins?

There’s no bad time to see dolphins in Florida!  Due to the state’s constant warm air and sea temperatures, dolphins are active year-round.

However, dolphins are most active from sunrise until mid-morning when they are on the hunt for food.

What Is The Best Time To See Dolphins From The Beach?

You don’t have to be on a pier or a boat to catch a glimpse of a dolphin in Cocoa Beach.

In fact, you can view them right from the sand!  There are plenty of signs that indicate dolphins are nearby.

Look for waves moving in the wrong direction, pelicans and seagulls circling above a particular spot, or odd splashes or bursts of water.

More obvious signs include dorsal fins appearing above the water, tail fin slaps, and full body jumps or “breaches” over the water.

The best beaches for dolphin viewing include Jetty Park Beach and Cocoa Beach.

How Long Does The Dolphin Cruise Last?

Realized after booking that we booked it at the same time as the Falcon 9 launch so I was finding hoping to see it. Our guide actually made sure we saw it. It was amazing and we saw many dolphins during an amazing sunset.
