I saw 3 Doors Down (Acoustic Back Porch Jam) in January 2018 in Santa Rosa, CA.

This was the first time I had seen them.

I sat second row in the middle. There is something very special about hearing two hard core rock guitarists playing acoustic. They sounded spectacular and the crowd was VERY into it. I had a great time.

Brad has the PERFECT hard rock voice.

Highly recommended!

I was surprised 3 Doors Down was the headliner at this concert but absolutely thrilled they were last to play their set list. I enjoyed all the visual effects of the stage's background. Pretty kewl. I didn't hear the lead singer Brad at the beginning of the jam Duck and Run but the microphone was quickly fixed. Listening to their new songs and songs from years past put me in a nostalgic mood. Collective Soul jammed their awesome tunes as well as Soul Asylum.

I enjoyed the outdoor setting at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill however I was uncomfortable most of the show burning up from the humidity. Maybe handing out spray bottles of water to mist yourself or having water fountains to cool off could do the trick.

Amazing... started out on fire and they kept the blaze burning til the end. Crowd loved them and all the band members were so full of energy! They sound just like their songs on th radio!!AMAZING So glad they kicked off their Rock and Roll Express Tour in ATL... worth every penny!!!!

I will see them again for sure. THEY ROCKED CHASTAIN!!!

3 Doors Down Announces Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour

With Special Guest Candlebox    

Away from the sun to be played in its entirety + all the hits    , 3 doors down stars in television’s most successful nationally syndicated music-driven series, the song march 25    , check out the tour announce video here  .

This summer, 3 Doors Down celebrates its sophomore album, Away From The Sun, by hitting amphitheaters in major markets across the US for the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour, produced by Live Nation . The band will be playing all of the songs from the album throughout the performances, plus all of their biggest hits. Artist Presale and VIP Packages are available beginning March 21 at 10am local time. The general onsale for the tour begins Friday, March 24 at 10am local time and will be available HERE . 

Away From The Sun features “Here Without You,” which reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified 6x platinum in the US. The lead single, “When I’m Gone,” peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent seventeen weeks on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, becoming one of the longest-running number-one singles. 

Special guest Candlebox will be supporting 3 Doors Down on the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour for what is slated to be the band’s last US tour to promote the 30th anniversary of the band and their final farewell studio album being released later this year by Round Hill Records. 

Candlebox will also perform at 3 Doors Down’s 18 th Annual “The Better Life Foundation Concert” this fall. The event will take place at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, NC, on October 21. To date, The Better Life Foundation has donated over $3 Million to veterans, children, women, and humanitarian relief efforts domestically and around the globe. 3 Doors Down will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their debut album The Better Life this summer by playing the album in amphitheaters across the US.

2020 marked the 20th Anniversary of their debut, and for the first time ever, the band will play The Better Life in its entirety, front to back, along with the rest of their hits on the tour.

“Especially after the last year everyone has had, I am really looking forward to rocking out and celebrating with our fans this summer. It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since we released The Better Life ,” 3 Doors Down’s Brad Arnold shares.

How Debut Album ‘Murmur’ Spread The Word About R.E.M.

“That album drastically changed our lives, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate the 20th Anniversary with our fans by playing The Better Life front to back this summer. It’s going to be a blast, and we can’t wait to get on the road and see everyone out there!”

Tickets for The Better Life 20th Anniversary Tour dates go on sale Friday, June 4 at 10 am local time. On select shows, 3 Doors Down will be offering special 20th anniversary VIP packages. All VIP packages will be available starting Wednesday, June 2, at 10 am local time.

Citi is the official presale credit card of The Better Life 20th Anniversary Tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, June 2 at 10 am local time until Thursday, June 3 at 10 pm local time through Citi Entertainment.

Along with the tour, the band also celebrated their debut album with a remastered and expanded 3LP vinyl box set of The Better Life . The collection included the original tracklisting of the album as well as the nine-song Escatawpa Sessions . The Escatawpa Sessions were recorded in the band’s Mississippi hometown in 1996 and features seven The Better Life demo versions in addition to three previously unreleased tracks.

3 DOORS DOWN Announces Dates For ‘Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour’

This summer, 3 Doors Down celebrates its sophomore album, Away From The Sun, by hitting amphitheaters in major markets across the US for the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour , produced by Live Nation . The band will be playing all of the songs from the album throughout the performances, plus all of their biggest hits. Artist Presale and VIP Packages are available beginning March 21 at 10am local time. The general onsale for the tour begins Friday, March 24 at 10am local time and will be available HERE .

Away From The Sun features “Here Without You,” which reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified 6x platinum in the US. The lead single, “When I’m Gone,” peaked at number?four on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent seventeen weeks on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, becoming one of the longest-running number-one singles.

Special guest Candlebox will be supporting 3 Doors Down on the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour for what is slated to be the band’s last US tour to promote the 30th anniversary of the band and their final farewell studio album being released later this year by Round Hill Records.

Candlebox will also perform at 3 Doors Down’s 18 th Annual “The Better Life Foundation Concert” this fall. The event will take place at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, NC, on October 21. To date, The Better Life Foundation has donated over $3 Million to veterans, children, women, and humanitarian relief efforts domestically and around the globe. 3 Doors Down Playing ‘The Better Life’ in Full on 2021 Tour With Seether + More

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of their multi-platinum debut album,  The Better Life , 3 Doors Down will head out on a massive U.S. tour this summer and into the fall, playing the record in full. Each show will feature one of six slated opening acts, though Seether have been tapped as the sole guest on a majority of the stops.

The 42-date tour is set to begin on June 26 and wrap up on Oct. 16, serving as the protracted anniversary tour for The Better Life , which came out in 2000 and hit the 20-year milestone last year, but the pandemic obviously pushed the commemorative run out until 2021.

While Seether, who released  Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum  last year, will open most of the shows, Candlebox, Theory of a Deadman , Blackberry Smoke, Chayce Beckham and Koe Wetzel will each be featured at select dates, so check listings carefully.

"Especially after the last year everyone has had, I am really looking forward to rocking out and celebrating with our fans this summer. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since we released The Better Life ," commented singer Brad Arnold .
