Itinerary | explore and discover kundasang.

Meet & greet at the airport or your city centre hotel. Proceed to Upside Down House & 3D Wonders Museum then on to Kundasang for a 2-3 hour journey by road via the picturesque Crocker Range and highland Villages. Stopover at War Memorial Garden and the Fruit & Vegetable Stalls. Check in to Kinabalu Pine Resort and have lunch. After lunch proceeds to Desa Cattle Farm. Back to Resort. Dinner at Resort.

08:00 – After breakfast at the Resort, proceed to Poring Hot Spring, situated at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu, a must-visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway (subject to Entrance Fee – own expense), just 20 minutes hike away. Experience walking 41 metres above the rainforest floor. Take a dip in one of the outdoor sulphurous thermal pools for a Japanese Open-style thermal bath, believed to possess curative powers. Back to the resort for lunch. Proceed to Kinabalu National Park for a presentation at Exhibition Hall. The park is home to many endemic species of flora and fauna, including Nepenthes Rajah – the largest pitcher plant in the World, fascinating orchids and Borneo’s montane birds. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Kota Kinabalu tours

Most watersports trips depart from Jesselton Point Jetty (https://g.page/JesseltonPoint) in central Kota Kinabalu. If you are staying at a city centre hotel or guest house you will often find it far quicker to walk to Jesselton Point. If you are staying at hotels or resorts such as Shangri-La Rasa Ria or Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa then I would certainly grab a taxi.

The Kota Kinabalu International Airport KKIA (airport code BKI) is located to the south of the city and is 8.5 kilometres from the city centre. This journey can be easily done by private car, taxi or shuttle bus. A taxi will charge around RM 30 each way for a pre-booked taxi. Arrivals are on the lower level with departures on the upper level. At busy times allow 30 minutes from the city centre to the airport.

Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, is the starting point for most holidays to Sabah. From Kota Kinabalu, most visitors go to explore other parts of Sabah whether it be on a tour from Kota Kinabalu (to go rafting, biking,  climbing Mount Kinabalu  etc.), or via a short internal flight to visit other parts of Sabah like the  Kinabatangan River  or  Danum Valley . If you have a couple of days free in Kota Kinabalu during your holiday then there is surprisingly quite a bit you can do and see on your doorstep.

On the first day, you can explore the city with its many attractions. At the start of the day visit the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Ramsar Site, a bird sanctuary close to the city centre. You could then choose to walk up Signal Hill to enjoy views out over the City from Signal Hill observatory platform, visit the Sabah State Museum for a walk through Sabah’s history or explore the handicraft market located on the waterfront. Visit the Atkinson Clock Tower, the oldest building in Kota Kinabalu, or one of the famous Mosques in Kota Kinabalu – Kota Kinabalu City Mosque (‘Floating Mosque’) or the State Mosque. Later in the day watch the sunset from Tanjung Aru Beach before heading back into the city centre for a spot of early evening shopping. Finally, choose from one of the many local cafes and restaurants for a tasty meal to end the day. 

For your second day visit the local islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. The Marine Park is located in front of Kota Kinabalu and easily accessible via a boat transfer from Jesselton Point Jetty. You can choose to join an organised day tour to help you get the most from your visit to the Marine Park whether it be a  Snorkeling Trip  or going  scuba diving  to explore the tropical waters. You could also choose to visit the islands independently via an island transfer service and chill out on one of the public beaches on the islands in the Marine Park. Sun, tropical sea, sand – a perfect way to spend a second day in Kota Kinabalu.

• Day 2 – Desa Cattle Farm / Poring / Kinabalu Park / KK (Breakfast/Lunch) Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and 0830hrs proceed to visit Desa Cattle Farm. Afterwards continue to Poring Hot Springs through scenic mountainous countryside. Upon arrival, a must visit to the Treetop Canopy Walkway which will take approximately 20 minutes hike. Experience the height of 41 meters above the ground and the length of 170 meters Treetop Bridge. Or you may just take a dip in the open air Japanese styled bathtub where the hot sulfuric water is believed to have curative power. Lunch at the local restaurant. Afterwards proceed to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s First World Heritage Site for a visit to the Mountain Garden. Return back to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to KK and check in to Selected hotel.
• Day 3 – Selection 1 of Below Tour (B, Lunch or Dinner) Breakfast at the hotel. Select one of below tour with meals. Overnight at the Hotel. a) Island Hopping (Manukan & Sapi Island with lunch); OR Breakfast at the hotel. 0900hrs pick up from the hotel and transfer to the jetty for about 15 minutes boat ride to Sapi Island. You may go for swimming, snorkeling or just sun-bathing along the beach as well as enjoy the water sports activities at your own expenses. 1200hrs a sumptuous Lunch is served. 1400hrs transfer to Manukan Island free at leisure. Return to mainland in the late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel. Note: Things suggested to bring are sun block / tan lotion, swimming attire, towel, extra clothes for change, personal toiletries etc. b) Proboscis Monkey & Firefly Cruise (with dinner); OR 1400hrs pick up from city hotel and will through about 2 hrs journey down to the Southern coast of Sabah that takes you along the coast and through rice fields and orchards. This is a river cruise through mangroves that are home to several species of wild animals such as crocodile, long-tailed Macaques, Silver Langurs and the most famous Proboscis monkeys. Klias is also great for bird watching but the real attraction happens after sunset when thousands of fireflies light up the trees along the riverbank. Hi-tea before and safety briefing will be done by respective guide before start a river cruise. River cruise will bring you an adventure to search for Borneo bizarre Proboscis Monkey that will come near to the river bank in late afternoon. Malay buffet dinner will be served and after the dark night fall, another short cruise will bring you for a fire flies occur along the river. c) Kiulu White Water Rafting (with lunch) Kiulu Village is worth a trip just for its lovely rural scenes. The river activities are a bonus. Every year, traditional water sports were held here. The rafting is mild so it is suitable for the children. Light refreshments will be served while you are brief on rafting techniques, DO’s & DONT’s Rules. Then enjoy the rafting while the BBQ lunch at river side is prepare for you when you return. Schedule :  0830hrs : Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Tamparuli District. Journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 mins. 1000hrs : Arrive at starting point Pukak. Short Safety techniques and briefing will be conducted by the river guided 1030hrs : Start rafting for 1 hour 30 mins (Depending on the water level). the furthest distance can go up to 15KM if the water level is high & 8KM if excursions at normal level 1200hrs : Lunch is served. 1400hrs : Transfer back to your pick up point. d) Mari Mari Culural Village Tour with Lunch Breakfast at Hotel, at 0900hrs, proceed to Inanam (approximately 40-minutes drives) for Mari-Mari Cultural Village. Upon arrival, you will be greeted as preparation for you time-travelling into prehistoric Borneo; briefing on the Village Rules is a must before you enter. You will be greeted by the Chief and go through a custom Welcome Ceremony. Then you may walk through the suspension bridge to enter Mari-Mari. Mari-mari Cultural Village is combination of five ethnics such as Dusun, Rungus, Murut, Bajau and Lundayeh. Every ethnic has their own exotic stories and traditional dance as well as their historical. It is time to bid farewell to the villagers and depart back to KK

• You'll be picked up from your hotel lobby and proceed for a wonderful day in Kinabalu Park & Kundasang to visit the three locations of your choice in Kundasang highlands.
• Our tour guide-cum-driver will brief you on the route based on the attractions you have chosen. The ride from Kota Kinabalu city to Kundasang takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic situation.
• On the way up to Kundasang highlands, you will make a pit stop at Nabalu Market , where local folks come to sell their goods. You'll be able to see a variety of vegetables, fruits, food and handicraft. There is also a lookout point which is great for photo taking and to view the majestic Mount Kinabalu on a clear day.
• When you arrive in Kundasang , our tour guide will suggest a few local restaurants for lunch and you may make a choice as lunch is at your own expenses.
• After lunch, you will continue on your tour around Kundasang and if there's time, you will make a quick stop at the Kinabalu National Park entrance for photo taking. You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu city.

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed in so far. We took 3d2n package with breakfast, lunch & din provided. Food given large quantity, esp seafood & service was fine. Stayed in Garden Villa chalet. Very clean & comfortable. Housekeeping crew came to clean, very prompt & quick. Clean & nice beach, about 20 paces away from room, as well as clean pool, about 10 paces from room. Surrounding well kept. Resort is, of course, not new but it’s more than adequate to unwind & relax. Came during off-peak season & feels like you have whole resort to yourself! Thank you to staff for memorable holiday.

HONEYMOON DI KOTA KINABALU: PAKEJ PERCUTIAN 4 HARI 3 MALAM 2022

Selama ni kalau saya pergi bercuti dalam Malaysia, tak pernah try untuk ambil pakej. Ini kali pertama ambil pakej ke Sabah rasa senang sangat-sangat, tak perlu fikir dah tentang jadual, tak perlu fikir transport, aktiviti dan makan. Consultant dah uruskan semua dari A ke Z. Kalau fikir balik, bercuti sendiri banyak benda kena fikir, kadang aktiviti kena cas mahal dan penat kena drive sendiri, dah la jauh.

Tiket kapal terbang saya dari KLIA ke Kota Kinabalu, tapi kalau anda dari Penang atau Johor pun juga boleh nak ke Kota Kinabalu. Mula gerak pada hari Khamis jam 8:30 pagi  sampai jam 11:15 pagi bersama Air Asia.

Dalam pakej ni anda boleh je nak sampai pukul berapa, sebab dia private trip, tapi saya sarankan kalau anda ambil pakej lebih baik sampai pagi supaya aktiviti dan jadual tidak terganggu. 

Sampai je di airport Kota Kinabalu, terus dijemput oleh tour guide.

Cerita Aktiviti di Hari Pertama di Sabah. 1️⃣

Baiklah, saya akan ceritakan pengalaman saya honeymoon untuk 4 hari 3 malam di Sabah ikut pada jadual di atas 😆.

Tapi sebelum tu saya nak bagitau yang pakej saya ambil ni pada bulan September 2022, consultant yang saya apply pakej ni kata pakej akan berubah harga dan juga itinerary, ikut pada feedback customer berikan, kalau best mereka kekal kan, kalau tak best tempat tu mereka tukarkan pada tempat yang high demand.

So, cerita saya bermula pada hari pertama saya sampai di Kota Kinabalu airport. Sampai je situ ada tour guide dah tunggu depan airport untuk bawa kami ke tempat seterusnya.

Untuk perjalanan pertama otw ke Kundasang, kami singgah di Rumah Terbalik, ingat kan barang dalam rumah je terbalik, ni sampa rumah pun terbalik wei 😆. 

Yang terakhir, kami pergi shopping lagi….pergi dan balik shopping tu wajib ye hehe.

Kami    pergi shopping di  Pasar Philippine dan Jamilah Onestop Souvenir. 

Akhirnya, balik tunggu di airport, Sabah akan ku rindui. 😌

So, itu sahaja cerita saya sewaktu honeymoon di Sabah selama 4 hari 3 malam. banyak kenangan manis dan kosong kenangan pahit, jadual semua berjalan dengan lancar. Semoga ada rezeki saya dan tuan puan yang membaca artikel ni ke Sabah 🥰.

Pelan bercuti ke Kundasang Sabah 5 hari 4 malam ni sebenarnya encik suami yang uruskan dari tahun lepas lagi. Tujuannya nak buat birthday supprise kat Sabah dengan kawan-kawan kat sana.

Dya sebenarnya tak terkejut sangat dengan plan  celebrate birthday   kat Sabah ni.

Sebab masa kat Semenanjung, husband hampir terkantoi plan something dengan kawan Sabahan.

Cuma masa tu Dya cuma syak dia ada plan something. Tapi tak jangka akan celebrate birthday kat sana. Haha.TQ husband & kawan2.

Kiranya ni merupakan percutian pertama Dya dan suami bersama Baby Aali.

Pengalaman bercuti kat Sabah ni, kitorang bawa Baby Aali lawat tempat-tempat menarik sekitar Kota Kinabalu & Kundasang.

Tempat yang dari dulu sampai sekarang, tiap kali ambil gambar terasa macam dalam lukisan.

Sebab background sangat-sangat cantik!

Terutamanya bila berlatar belakangkan gunung Kinabalu.

Jadi, apa jer yang kami buat sepanjang 5 hari 4 malam di Kota Kinabalu, Sabah?

ITINERARY 5 HARI 4 MALAM BERCUTI KE SABAH

Aktiviti hari pertama tiba di kk:.

• Dinner di restoran supreme ayam penyet
• Check in hotel

Hari nak berlepas ke Sabah, flight gerak waktu lewat petang. Jadi, sampai di KK dalam lebih kurang pukul 8 malam macamtu.

Sampai je kat KK, kitorang terus gerak untuk makan malam kat restoran kawan, Supreme Ayam Penyet.

Kat kedai ni la diorang plan buat birthday supprise. Haha!

Selesai makan, terus check in hotel di area One Borneo Mall.

Takda apa-apa aktiviti, masing-masing pun dah penat duduk 2 jam lebih dalam kapal terbang.

AKTIVITI HARI KE 2 DI KUNDASANG SABAH:

Tiba hari kedua, bangun pagi terus breakfast kat hotel.

Selesai je breakfast, terus siap-siap untuk gerak ke Kundasang.

Nak ke Kundasang ambil masa dalam 2 jam lebih kalau tak silap.

Jalan dia memang berliku-liku. Saranan Dya, kalau korang nak ke Kundasang, pakai jelah  pakej pelancongan Sabah

Kalau drive sendiri, lagi penat nak ngadap jalan.

Sebelum sampai Kundasang, korang akan lalu pekan Nabalu.

Kat sini ada jual cenderamata, buah-buahan, amplang, kuih cincin, etc.

Oh, lagi satu nak bagitau. Kat belakang pekan Nabalu tu ada spot cantik untuk bergambar.

Memang nampak jelas lah gunung kat belakang.

Korang jangan lupa untuk bergambar kat situ jugak ok?

Setel je beli buah sikit kat situ, kitorang terus gerak ke Dairy Farm Kundasang.

Dalam perjalanan nak ke Dairy Farm tu korang akan lalu Pekan Kundasang. 

Kat sini ada jual banyak buah, strawberi dan sayur segar. 

Dan setiap hari akan ada pasar pagi jugak. 

Nak bergambar kat sini pun best. 

Selesai beli buah semua, kitorang gerak ke Dairy Farm.

Aktiviti macam biasalah. Tengok lembu, makan aiskrim yogurt, snap gambar sana sini.

Setel kat Dairy Farm, kitorang gerak untuk makan tengahari kat Sabah Tea.

Dah lama tak ke Sabah Tea ni. Banyak rupanya perubahan diorang dah buat.

Ada beberapa prop yang cantik untuk kita ootd kat sana. Haha.

Cumanya kekurangan kat sini, makanan dia mahal dan kurang kena dengan tekak Dya ni.

Selesai makan, kita terus check in kat homestay Kundasang ni.

Kitorang tak book awal pun. Walk in cari homestay mana yang masih ada.

Ingatkan nak stay Kiram Village. Tapi, selalu full kat sini.

Akhirnya dapat jugaklah satu homestay. Tempat yang baru Dya cuba.

Not bad jugak kat sini.

Dya tak ingat nama homestay ni. So far, best jugak homestay ni sebab dia punya sejuk tu boleh diterima lagi.

Dulu kitorang suka stay kat Kiram Village. Kat kiram dia punya sejuk tu memang kaw kaw. Menggigil.

Tapi kat homestay pilihan kalini ngam sangat suhu dia.

Lagipun Dya kan bawak baby, jadi taknak pilih homestay yang suhu terlalu sejuk sebab kesian kat baby nanti.

AKTIVITI HARI KE-3 MASIH DI KUNDASANG:

Hari ke-3 kitorang masih kat Kundasang lagi.

Bangun pagi memang terasa segar sangat. 

Terus gerak ke berandah homestay sambil tengok pemandangan gunung depan mata.

Angin sepoi-sepoi sejuk dengan siraman matahari waktu pagi. Fuhh, nyaman je.

Terasa macam nak duduk kat Kundasang setiap hari.

Sarapan pagi harini, kitorang pilih kat restoran Puteri Nabalu.

Serius weh. Kat sini memang cantik untuk ootd!

Dekor kedai yang berlatarbelakangkan gunung kinabalu buat Dya terasa macam kat luar negara.

Kat sini menu yang sedap, roti dia.

Usai sarapan, kitorang singgah kejap kat Kiram Village untuk bergambar.

Kat Kiram Village dah makin cantik. Dekor kat sini nampak macam english style.

Tak dapat stay kat Kiram, dapat bergambar depan rumah pun jadiklah. haha.

Kemudian, kitorang singgah pulak tengok ikan kat Kg Luanti. Kat sini korang kena bayar dan beratur tunggu giliran sebelum dipanggil masuk.

Korang boleh bagi ikan makan kat Luanti ni.

Ikan paling besar kat situ, ikan rupa macam ikan keli. Tapi tak tau lah tu ikan apa.

Tapi memang besar gila.

Selesai je kat Luanti, gerak balik dah petang dah.

Jadi alang-alang balik ke Kota Kinabalu, Dya request kat suami untuk singgah makan lokan bakar.

Bagi Dya sangat wajib untuk singgah makan lokan bakar dengan kelapa jelly.

Ada satu kedai yang Dya suka pergi. Gerai Abang Amin.

Sebab kelapa jelly dia sedap sangat-sangat. Rasa kenyal dan rasa manis kelapa.

Siap makan, kitorang terus check in kat hotel di area Sadong.

Malam tu pulak makan di Gayang Seafood restaurant.

Tapi makan kat Gayang kalini macam dah over rated dah.

Makanan kurang sedap dan harga agak pricey. 

AKTIVITI HARI KE-4 DI KOTA KINABALU:

Untuk hari ke-4, Dya ajak suami pergi ke Borneo Ant House.

Tak ramai orang ke Borneo Ant House ni. Lagipun masih baru bukak rasanya ni.

Kalau korang bawa anak-anak, kena pergi sini sebab best gila.

Anak-anak boleh belajar tentang jenis semut. Dan kalau nak bergambar pun best sebab semut kat situ besar-besar.

Harini kitorang makan tengahari kat DNA Station. Kawan Sabahan ajak rasa ambuyat kat sana. 

Sebab selama Dya duduk Sabah dari dulu mencari ambuyat. 

Baru sekarang dapat merasa.

Untuk makan malam pulak.

Kitorang makan malam kat  Restoran Ohsom  sebelah hotel.

Pehh, kat sini serius makanan dia sedap! Harga memang berbaloi sangat-sangat berbanding Gayang.

Kalau tahu awal memang kitorang makan seafood kat kedai ni je awal-awal haritu. Haha.

AKTIVITI HARI KE-5 DI KOTA KINABALU:

Macam biasa, sarapan pagi kitorang kat kedai feveret. Kedai Mee Tauhu area Kingfisher.

Mee Tauhu kat sini sedap sangat. Dulu Dya memang selalu ke kedai ni untuk sarapan.

Hari terakhir dekat KK ni, kitorang santai je.

Sambil nak habiskan masa tu, jalan sesaja kat Imago Mall.

Kebetulan pulak ada acara persembahan kebudayaan kat Mall ni.

Sempat jugaklah tengok tarian Sabah kat situ. Ada sumandak cantik jugak situ. Hehe.

Flight bertolak petang. Sementara tunggu sebelum gerak ke airport, Dya makan tengahari kat foodcourt tingkat atas. 

Fuh.. Ni la pengalaman bercuti 5 hari 4 malam kat Sabah. Santai-santai je kalini. 

Sebab kitorang taknak terlalu pack bila bercuti. Nanti balik barai kepenatan. Hehe.

Dya ada bercuti 4 Hari 3 Malam ke Sabah guna khidmat pakej pelancongan .

Antara tempat baru yang kitorang pergi seperti marakau bombon, naik atv, paragliding, rabbit house, strawberry farm

Terus baca yang ni pulak ✓

Pilihan hotel 5 star, tenangkan diri selepas pkp.

08.30 hrs: Arrive at jetty. Take ferry to Manukan Island , one of the 5 islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park . The journey takes around 15 – 25 minuntes.

Note : Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is comprising of 5 islands, which are Pulau Gaya , Manukan , Mamutik , Sapi and Sulug .

09.00 hrs: Arrive at island. Free and easy.

12.00 hrs: Packed lunch will be served.

13.00 hrs: Transfer to Sapi Island .

13.15 hrs: Arrive at Sapi Island . Free and easy. You can enjoy the water sport activities at island. At own cost.

15.00 hrs: Transfer back to mainland.

16.00 hrs: Back to hotel. Tour ends.
