There’s no doubt that all of the main “sharks” are incredibly wealthy and successful (collectively, they have invested over $200 million into products and businesses from the award-winning show), but who is the richest? That answer may surprise you. Read on for the estimated net worth of the central cast of Shark Tank .

Barbara Corcoran in Shark Tank

Barbara Corcoran: $100 Million Net Worth

After college, Barbara founded a real estate company with her boyfriend — but years later, she said goodbye to the boyfriend and as well as the company, which was sold for $66 million. From there, she launched real estate company The Corcoran Group which she still works on today. Corcoran credits her success with investing in a nice wool coat, shelling out $320 from her first commission check to pay for it.

Lori Greiner in Shark Tank

Lori Grenier: $150 Million Net Worth

Known for promoting successful products on QVC and The Home Shopping Network, Lori started out with a $300,000 loan to help her create a prototype of an earring organizer which was later purchased by J.C Penney. Since joining Shark Tank in the first season, she invested in one of the most successful products to ever be on the show — Scrub Daddy, which has over $100 million in sales.

Robert Herjavec

Robert Herjavec: $300 Million Net Worth

The Croatian-born investor is the founder of the internet security software, BRAK System, which was sold to AT&T for more than $30 million. His estimated net worth now is 10 times that amount, of course.

Daymond John of Shark Tank

Daymond John: $350 Million Net Worth

The fashion mogul is best known for being the CEO of FUBU, which has generated over $6 billion in global sales. On Shark Tank , he’s invested over $8 million of his own money into various companies. His net worth is one of the highest for the sharks, at an estimated $350 million.

KEVIN O'LEARY

Kevin O'Leary: $400 Million Net Worth

There’s a reason why Mr. Wonderful enjoys the finer things in life. During the earlier years of his career, the businessman got a $10,000 loan from his mother, which helped him co-found SoftKey Software Products which was later acquired by Mattel for more than $3 billion. Still, O’Leary knows how difficult it is to amass $1 million, let alone the $400 million he’s estimated to be worth now. He’s admitted , “It’s almost impossible.”

Mark Cuban in Shark Tank

Mark Cuban: $6.86 Billion Net Worth

Not only is the Dallas Mavericks owner the richest shark on Shark Tank , but he’s also one of the wealthiest men in America. Growing up, Mark believed in hustling to earn every penny — and would sell stamps door-to-door as a kid. He sold Yahoo! for $4.8 billion in 1999, according to Bloomberg , which is what catapulted him to extreme riches. Today, he also has stakes in Landmark Theaters, Magnolia Pictures, and AXS TV. His net worth has only continued to grow in recent years.

Toor Lockbox Update | Shark Tank Season 8

Real estate agent Junior Desinor came into Shark Tank Season 8 to pitch his product, the Toor lockbox. He asked for a $500,000 investment for 10% equity for his smart lockbox that was aimed towards real estate agencies. Junior ultimately walked away with a deal with Barbara Corcoran and Kevin O’Leary for a $200,000 investment for 10% with $300,000 as a loan with a contingency. We bet you’re curious to find out how Junior is doing now, which is exactly what we’re going to talk about in our Toor update.

Shark Tank Toor Lockbox Update

Shark Tank Toor Update

  • Entrepreneur: Junior Desinor
  • Business: Smart lockbox
  • Ask: $500,000 for 10% equity
  • Result: $200,000 for 10% and $300,000 as a loan with a contingency
  • Shark: Barbara Corcoran and Kevin O’Leary

Junior came onto Shark Tank with a product built for real estate agents. To no one’s surprise, he asked Barbara Corcoran to join him on stage to demonstrate the product. Afterward, the sharks started feasting on Junior while asking him questions about his product and breaking down the business.

Kevin O’Leary was up first. Mr. Wonderful asked what would happen if the user did not put the key back and Lori Greiner agreed that this was a huge concern. Junior explained that in these situations, an alert will be sent. Sellers can also request for an agent to guide prospective buyers on a tour through the property if they don’t want anyone to have access to the box.

After a successful Kickstarter , the lockbox will retail for $199 per device at launch and cost and a monitoring fee of $100 a month. The sharks were less enthusiastic about the price and even worse, guest shark Chris Sacca believed that the technology was already outdated. Meanwhile, Barbara, who founded The Corcoran Realestate Group, didn’t see the product as necessary and Lori thought that Junior came in too early in his product’s life and decided to go out.

Despite thinking that Junior valued his company too high, Kevin still made Junior an offer. His offer was to give Junior $100,000 for 10% equity with the remaining $400,000 being given as a loan at 18% interest. After his offer, Mark Cuban decided to go out and Barbara decided to partner with Kevin on the deal. However, Barbara’s partnership was contingent that the product was eventually sold to larger real estate companies.

After countering Barbara and Kevin at $250,000 for 10% equity and the remaining half as a line of credit, the three ultimately agreed on a deal of $200,000 for 10% with $300,000 as a loan with the contingency in place.

With a large sum of money secured, you probably want a Toor update. After the show aired, Junior ultimately decided to pass up on the shark’s initial offer and a deal was never made. However, Junior maintains that he remains in close contact with Barbara.

As for the Toor lockbox, the company eventually launched its product in 2018. Unlike Junior’s initial pitch, Toor was no longer just a lockbox for real estate use. Instead, it became a more flexible product that could be used anywhere, whether it was in real estate or just for added security to your home.

Since launching in 2018, Toor hasn’t done very well. The product has a 2-star rating on Amazon from 17 users and the social media pages haven’t been updated since 2018.

As for Junior, further research shows that he is still trying to make it as an entrepreneur. Junior has continued to create businesses and co-founded City Naturals in 2020 with his wife. The high-end CBD oil business operates out of a brick-and-mortar store in Dallas, Texas.

Who Is the Richest Shark on ‘Shark Tank’? Details on the Investors’ Net Worths and Businesses

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Each new season of Shark Tank brings out healthy competition among the show’s stars. Mark Cuban , Robert Herjavec , Daymond John , Kevin O’Leary , Barbara Corcoran and Lori Greiner sure know how to keep things interesting when making deals with entrepreneurs on the hit television show. Keep scrolling to find out which shark is the richest.

Who Is the Richest Shark on ‘Shark Tank’?

Every Shark brings something completely different to the table. Robert has a background in tech, while Lori is the “Queen of QVC.” Kevin is a wiz at marketing and branding. Mark has become synonymous with the Dallas Mavericks NBA team. Barbara is a real estate maven and Daymond’s apparel brand has taken the fashion industry by storm.

One shark’s net worth definitely stands out among the rest. Mark has amassed an estimated $5 billion net worth, per Celebrity Net Worth , making him the wealthiest investor on the show.

The Pennsylvania native's business ventures range from selling Broadcast.com for a whopping $5.7 billion in Yahoo! stock in 1999 to purchasing a majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks for $285 million in 2000.

Though his bank account has only continued to increase over the years, Mark assured his fans that there was more to success than just financial gain.

“Success isn’t necessarily how much money you have,” he said during an episode of LinkedIn’s “The Path” podcast in August 2023. “Success is just setting a goal and being able to wake up every morning feeling really good about what you’ve accomplished.”

How Does Mark Cuban Spend His Money?

Mark has been married to his wife, Tiffany Stewart , since 2002. The pair are parents to three children : Alexis, Alyssa and Jake. While the TV personality is rolling in cash, he has taught his kids important lessons on working hard and pursuing things they are passionate about.

“I’m not the type of dad, and my wife is the same way, where we’re just bringing home presents and you don’t have to do anything,” Mark said in a November 2022 Today segment. “We’re really consistent in telling them that they have to accomplish these things on their own. You don’t want to be Mark Cuban’s son or daughter your entire life. And I think they’ve really taken on to that.”

In December 2021, Mark purchased the entire town of Mustang, Texas, but did not reveal what he planned to do with it. The businessman explained the sentimental reason behind his decision to buy the land. “One of my buddies I’ve played pickup basketball with got cancer and was close to dying and his only real asset was this town, Mustang, Texas,” he reflected. “I was like, ‘Well, I can help Marty. I could buy this town.’ And so, I bought this town. It was a cool concept, right? It’s the only town in all of the state of Texas that is available for sale.”

How Much Are the Other Sharks Worth?

Mark is bringing in some major cash, but his other costars are also incredibly rich from their investments and businesses. Kevin is the second richest shark with an estimated net worth of $400 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.

The outlet also estimates that Daymond has brought in a net worth of $350 million, while Robert is presumed to have accrued $200 million. Lori is believed to be worth around $150 million and Barbara is valued at a whopping $100 million.

The 'Shark Tank' Experts Are Richer Than You Think

Reese Watson - Author

Jul. 10 2020, Updated 3:20 p.m. ET

The reality series Shark Tank has been a hit in the United States since it premiered in 2009. There are adaptations of the show all over the globe, some carrying the actual title of  Shark Tank , while others have been called Dragons’ Den or the original name, Tigers of Money .

The show gives entrepreneurs the chance to chum the water to a panel of five multi-millionaire and billionaire sharks looking to snatch a fatty chunk and take their businesses to a new level.

If the Sharks like the product or service, then they have the opportunity to make an offer. The best pitches can whip the Sharks into a frenzy, trying to present themselves as the presenter's best option.

So, how much money does the Shark Tank cast really have?

Here is a breakdown of the net worth of each of the 'Shark Tank' judges:

These are the regular Sharks that occupy the tank. There are six of them so that if one has a scheduling conflict, they can still have a full panel.

Mark Cuban — $4.3B

Mark Cuban is by far the wealthiest of the sharks with an estimated net worth of $4.3 billion. I’ll spare you the details on the math, but if you took the net worth of the remaining 9 sharks, Mark would still be almost a billion dollars richer, $870 million to be precise. Most of his wealth came from business deals that he made, the biggest being the sale of Broadcast.com, which he sold for $5.7 billion.

Kevin "Mr. Wonderful" O'Leary — $400M

Next in the tank is Kevin O’Leary, with an estimated net worth of $400 million. The self-proclaimed “Mr. Wonderful” is often one of the more vicious sharks on the show.

He says that the moniker is how he views his advice — it's often blunt but helpful to entrepreneurs that he sees as misguided. But you're not fooling us, Kevin. It's also because you're just plain mean.

Daymond John — $300M

Daymond John is a branding genius with a net worth of $300 million. He created and founded the FUBU brand and has helped create many household names from investments he's made in the tank. If you want to work with him but don’t want to be on national TV, he is the CEO of The Shark Group that can help transform your business into an iconic brand.

Robert Herjavec — $200M

Next up is Robert Herjavec, who has an estimated net worth of $200 million. He's the perfect example of following the American dream.

He and his family came to America to escape communism, on a boat no less, where he began as a waiter and newspaper delivery guy. Once he launched his first computer company from home, no one could stop him.

Now, Robert is considered one of the world’s best cybersecurity experts.

Lori Greiner aka The Queen of QVC — $100M

Lori Greiner is the first of the female sharks with a net worth of $100 million. She's referred to as “The Queen of QVC” since she has a show on the network in addition to selling her many products. Lori claims to be able to tell if a product is a “hero or a zero” instantly. With over 500 product creations in her name and 120 patents, she is probably right.

Barbara Corcoran — $80M

The last of the regular sharks has a net worth of $80 million. Barbara Corcoran made all of her money in real estate.

When she started out, she took a $1000 loan and quickly grew into the largest real estate business around. Barbara’s company was valued as high as $5 billion dollars.

These successful Sharks also make frequent appearances in the tank:

These sharks may not be part of the regular herd that we know and love, but that doesn’t mean that they're something to sneeze at. When they enter the tank, these sharks are looking for blood.

  • Matt Higgins — Matt co-founded RSE and has a net worth of $150 million.
  • Daniel Lubetzky —  The founder of Kind, Daniel, has a net worth of $1.2 billion.

Daniel Lubetzky

  • Rohan Oza — Rohan is a marketing guru with a net worth estimated at $200 million.
  • Anne Wojcicki —  Anne who is the co-founder of 23andme has a net worth of $800 million

It's no surprise that almost all the sharks are best selling authors with multiple books to their name, detailing their struggles and the path to becoming a shark. They could be worth the read if you're interested in going on the show. Do you have what it takes to swim with these sharks?

Which Sharks From Shark Tank Are The Richest?

Kevin O'Leary looking coy

Few reality shows are as unique or consistently popular as ABC's "Shark Tank." An American adaptation of an older version called "Dragon's Den," this is a program dedicated to the idea of entrepreneurship by having an assortment of wannabe inventors pitch their ideas to the "sharks," a group of famous investors with lots of money to burn. The show is a love letter to all things capitalism — as reinforced by the  insane amounts of money that have been spent on "Shark Tank" deals . Each episode has the panel of sharks decide on if they want to invest in each product idea, while actively criticizing or praising the concepts by using their years of business experience.

One of the biggest selling points for "Shark Tank" viewers is the club of uber-rich personalities that serve as the sharks. While some sharks are main members of the cast that appear in every episode, others come and go as guest sharks to participate in the fun of making record-breaking deals . What is consistent among all the sharks, however, is that they're all filthy rich. While each investor of "Shark Tank" is incredibly wealthy, some definitely have more money than others. Read on to find out which sharks from "Shark Tank" are the richest.

The most recognizable of the main cast sharks has to be none other than Mark Cuban, a super wealthy billionaire who has made a consistent appearance on "Shark Tank" since Season 2 in 2011. Cuban comes from a working-class family and decided to pursue a life of business by going off to Indiana University and gaining a degree in management . From there he slowly but surely built a career in online enterprises such as social software , peer-to-peer, and other tech startups to build an impressive portfolio. Within the context of the show, Cuban is one of the nicer and more supportive sharks, but has made fewer than 100 deals across all the episodes of "Shark Tank" so far .

Cuban seems to be the richest of anyone that has appeared on " Shark Tank ," with an estimated net worth of $4.6 billion and ranked number 247 on the 2021 Forbes 400 list of the 400 richest Americans each year. These days, he's known for his ownership of the Dallas Mavericks, his investments in cryptocurrency, various entertainment productions and, well, his appearances on "Shark Tank." As a guest on Jon Stewart's podcast , Cuban admitted that nearly 80% of his investments not directly related to "Shark Tank” are in cryptocurrency-related things. He has also been known for his philanthropic endeavors such as the Fallen Patriot Fund , Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology , and the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company that are dedicated to various social causes.

Richard Branson

Although not a member of the main "Shark Tank" cast, one of the richest guests to ever appear on the show is British businessman Richard Branson. Branson's career began in earnest during the 1970s when he opened a successful chain of record stores called Virgin Records, thus beginning what would become his massive Virgin brand . His enterprise grew massively over the next few decades as he expanded into airlines, music production, spaceflight, and media creation. As of today, Richard Branson has accumulated roughly $4.1 billion in net worth .

As for his time on "Shark Tank," Branson only appeared for one episode during Season 9, which erupted in some notable controversy . During the episode, Branson and Marc Cuban have many issues with each other because of personal and professional differences, as well as general mean-spirited bickering from both sides. This culminates in the rather famous moment when Richard Branson throws his glass of water on Cuban, which results in him not coming back on the show again. While many wonder just how serious, or staged, of a confrontation it was , there is no doubt that Branson is partial to these sorts of stunts. During his visit to the tank, Branson invested in three business ideas — Grypmat, Locker Board, and Sierra Madre Research.

Steve Tisch

Another guest shark whose wealth blows the others out of the tank is Steve Tisch, a wealthy businessman most known for film production, owning the New York Giants, and being part of the famous Tisch family . Steve Tisch is the son of Preston Robert Tisch , who became rich based on his co-ownership of the Lowes Corporation as well as other successful business ventures. Thanks to being born into wealth, Steve Tisch had an easy time parlaying his inherited capital into his passion for filmmaking by becoming a producer in the late 1970s. Some of the films that Tisch was responsible for producing include "Outlaw Blues," "Risky Business," "Forrest Gump," and "American History X." He's also well-known to native New Yorkers for his position as co-owner and chairman of the New York Giants NFL football team and his stewardship over their Super Bowl wins in 2007 and 2011.

Tisch is incredibly rich, and is believed by experts to be worth roughly $1.2 billion . That makes him the third richest person to appear on "Shark Tank," which he did for one episode of the show's fifth season in 2009. During his brief appearance, Tisch only invested in one pitch (The Cookie Dough Café) with about $50,000, which netted him 15% of the business . Lucky for him, The Cookie Dough Café has gone on to be a fairly successful investment, doubling in worth since the episode aired .

Sara Blakely

The first woman to appear on our list is Sara Blakely, a remarkable businesswoman who is most famous for founding the Spanx clothing company as well as being one of the most wealthy and powerful women in the world. In fact, Blakely reached number 23 on Forbes' 2022 American self-made woman list , and has continued her success beyond that. Blakely earned her fame and fortune thanks to the creation of Spanx, a company she started that was dedicated to creating comfortable legwear as a brand for women. She built her business with ingenuity, cunning, and strategy, which led Oprah Winfrey to name Spanx as one of her favorite things on her show, sending sales of the product skyrocketing.

Blakely has a current net worth of $1 billion , and her appearances on "Shark Tank" throughout Seasons 9 and 10 make her one of the richest people to appear on the show as well as the richest woman. During her time on the show, she invested in several ideas that mostly had nothing to do with her own industry of women's apparel, with one investment even focusing on pet needs.

It is very telling that many of the richest sharks to appear on "Shark Tank" are not regulars, and often aren't people you may think of as "business people" at all. A prime example of this is the next shark on our list, who visited the tank once in Season 13: Kevin Hart . Hart is known mainly as a professional standup comedian, actor, producer, and creator who has built a massive career in entertainment over the past decade. He has been featured in countless blockbuster films such as "Ride Along," "Get Hard," "Central Intelligence," "Jumanji," and has also made several popular comedy albums. Hart consistently sells out stadiums to perform his comedy live , and has gone on to host and produce shows across his own company under the label Laugh Out Loud Network.

Kevin Hart may not be someone that comes to mind when you think of millionaires, but he is one of the wealthiest guest stars to appear on "Shark Tank" so far — with a net worth of around $450 million , he consistently ranks as one of the most financially successful comedians of all time. His guest role on "Shark Tank" was unexpected for many viewers, but also enjoyable for his humorous commentary and interesting investments including a sea moss startup .

Kevin O'Leary

Finally we reach another well-known, full-time shark who happens to be everyone's favorite mean investor: Kevin O'Leary. Known ironically as "Mr. Wonderful" thanks to his Simon Cowell-style reputation, O'Leary has been part of the main cast of "Shark Tank" for its entire run on television and also previously appeared on the show's Canadian predecessor, "Dragon's Den." He made a name for himself as a businessman in the 1980s by founding a learning software company, which made programs focused on education for families. What made him a shrewd operator, however, was his ability to implement hostile takeovers of competitors before finally selling his company to Mattel for millions of dollars.

Since then, O'Leary has focused mostly on his many media appearances that have made him a household name. These days, O'Leary is reported to have a net worth of about $400 million , which makes him the second-richest regular cast member on the show. He has made roughly  40 deals out of nearly 531 pitches across the show's entire run so far — a pretty small percentage to befit his difficult reputation.

Jamie Siminoff

You may not have heard of this particular millionaire by name, but you've probably heard of his biggest creation: Ring . Jamie Siminoff is the inventor and entrepreneur who created the series of wifi-enabled doorbell cameras that have swept the internet in recent years by providing nearly endlessly bizarre front-door content  through this piece of technology. His company was purchased by Amazon in 2018, and since then Siminoff has coasted off the massive boon he gained in the nearly $1 billion dollar deal . Most importantly, however, Siminoff appeared on "Shark Tank" well before his time as a guest shark when he unsuccessfully pitched Ring to the sharks as a contestant in 2013 .

After failing to sell Ring to the sharks back during his own pitch, Siminoff decided the best course of action after proving them wrong was to come back as a shark himself. He appeared as a guest on their 200th episode in Season 10 , investing nearly $500,000 in different pitches. While he had little net worth when he first came on "Shark Tank" to pitch his idea, Siminoff now has a higher value than many of the sharks with nearly $400 million to his name . An impressive comeback and an even more entertaining moment in "Shark Tank" history.

As the CEO of Khloé Kardashian's massive clothing brand Good American , Emma Grede is another incredibly successful businesswoman who has made an appearance on ABC's "Shark Tank." Grede began her career in her native United Kingdom by getting involved in the London fashion industry . The Good American clothing company has proven successful by emphasizing inclusivity, body positivity, and size options while expanding into other clothing items such as dresses. Grede also has helped found other companies such as the shapewear company Skims, and a plant-based products company called Safely .

Emma Grede made history as the first Black female to ever be a guest shark during the premiere episode of Season 13, during which she invested $150,000 into Ooakshell, a craft headband company created by Mika Bertholdo. Grede has an estimated net worth of around $360 million , making her yet another millionaire to appear on the show but placing her on the lower end of the financial ladder for "Shark Tank" cast members.

Daymond John

One of the core members of the main "Shark Tank" cast, Daymond John is a multifaceted entrepreneur, author, television personality, and investor who is most known for his role as COO of the hip-hop clothing brand FUBU. In a true rags-to-riches story,  John started FUBU in his mother's basement  and grew it into a billion-dollar company whose products are now available in stores across the world.

As a shark, John has been a regular cast member since the first season and has made 61 deals out of the 400-plus pitches heard over the course of his time on the show. He is generally considered one of the nicer sharks, and often hears out the contestants' pitches fully — underscoring his self-professed commitment to supporting entrepreneurs all over the world. These days, John is reported to have a net worth of $350 million  and is known for offering his consultation services to up-and-coming entrepreneurs through the Shark Group. Although not every single investment that Daymond John made on "Shark Tank" has been a winner , he's still a fantastic investor and important member of the show's cast.

Robert Herjavec

A longtime member of the "Shark Tank" cast, Robert Herjavec is likely a very familiar face for fans of the show. Herjavec was born and raised in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia before his family emigrated to Canada in the 1970s, which set him on a path toward business and entrepreneurship. He ended up finishing his studies at New College of the University of Toronto with a degree in English Literature before going off to found BRAK Systems of internet security software in 1990.

Since then, his career has only grown with ventures in information technology and television entertainment since, much like Mr. Wonderful, Herjavec was a part of "Dragon's Den," the Canadian predecessor to "Shark Tank." Once the American spinoff began, Herjavec joined immediately for its first season and has been a main shark for the entire show so far, with some notable deals under his belt. According to reputable "Shark Tank" statistics , Robert Herjavec has made 57 deals out of the nearly 511 pitches he has heard with over $16,000,000 worth of investments made along the way. As far as net worth goes, Herjavec is toward the bottom of our list with a net worth of $200 million . That may be a lot to the average person, but compared to other sharks on the show, it definitely puts him toward the lower end of the spectrum.

Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner has been a main cast member since Season 4 of "Shark Tank," and came on as a guest before joining the show on a regular basis because of her fame as the "Queen of QVC." She is a successful businesswoman and TV personality who built her brand by first creating a plastic earring organizer which became a hit after being marketed on the Home Shopping Network . Eventually she moved on to QVC and was given her own show titled "Clever & Unique Creations" where she hawked numerous products while hosting what became one of QVC's longest-running shows of all time.

Greiner is certainly wealthy, but on the lower end of the sharks of "Shark Tank" with a reported  $150 million net worth as of 2022 . On the other hand, she has invested more than many of the other sharks with 61 deals out of roughly 300 pitches seen . As a result, she has a quite high investment percentage — roughly 20 percent, accounting for nearly $10,000,000.

Barbara Corcoran

Last on our list is another main cast member of "Shark Tank," and a shark that has been with the show since the first season: Barbara Corcoran . She is an incredibly successful businesswoman who started a massive real estate brokerage firm called the Corcoran Group in 1973 and sold it for millions later on.

Corcoran has become most known for her time as a shark on "Shark Tank" where she has been featured since the first episode and has 53 deals out of more than 300 pitches . She sports a reported  net worth of roughly $100 million , which makes her the least wealthy of the sharks on the show. But don't feel bad — she's still insanely rich compared to most people, and has many successful business ventures to prove it.

Shark Tank cast

Nowadays, watching cable television is fairly rare. Compared to the seemingly endless variety and flexibility provided by streaming services, live television just isn't up to snuff anymore. But on the odd occasion that you do find yourself flicking through channels and painstakingly making your way through commercial breaks, the chances are high that " Shark Tank " will be on. In this popular and over-aired reality series, entrepreneurs of every stripe pitch their product ideas to a panel of wealthy investors, called "sharks" (via USA Today ). If a presentation compels a shark, he or she offers to fund the business with a percentage of ownership and a share of the profits in return. Winning contestants also get access to their shark's valuable insight, network of contacts, suppliers (via Investopedia ), and more.

Although the cast of sharks changes from time to time — with new and exciting guest sharks sprinkled in each season — the longstanding fan-favorites include Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec , Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Daymond John. Together, they've invested more than $100 million into the show's businesses over the years, per TV Insider . But whose pockets are the deepest?

One shark has more in the bank than all the others combined

Unfortunately, it doesn't come as a huge surprise that the two female "sharks" make the least amount of money. According to TV Insider , real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran is at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to wealth, with $80 million in the bank. Then there's Lori Greiner, who started her career with a simple idea and turned it into a multi-million dollar international company and has been on "Shark Tank" since day one (via ABC ). Even though she invested in one of the most successful products to ever come from the shows — Scrub Daddy — she has a comparatively low net worth of around $100 million. Robert Herjavec, on the other hand, has double the cash to work with. The Croatian-born investor reportedly sold his company to AT&T for more than $30 million, and has about $200 million in the bank. The fashion mogul Daymond John comes in third with $300 million to his name. Add in $100 million more and you have the amount belonging to businessman Kevin O'Leary: $400 million.

The richest of them all also happens to be the only billionaire on the list: Mark Cuban has a jaw-dropping net worth of $4.1 billion. The Dallas Mavericks owner certainly stands out from the pack, and any lucky contestant that gets the green light from this investor has a prosperous future ahead.

Shark Tank’s Wealthiest Sharks: Ranking the Cast by Net Worth

Who is the richest shark on Shark Tank? If you’ve been watching this hit show, you might be curious to know which of the panel’s investors has accumulated the most wealth.

Shark Tank is an American business reality TV series that has captivated audiences since 2009. Its unique format shows aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a panel of five venture capitalists known as “sharks.”

The show is an American adaptation of the international format Dragons’ Den, which debuted in Japan in 2001 under the title Money Tigers.

Its drama unfolds as the sharks listen to business presentations and decide whether to invest their funds. Sharks frequently uncover flaws and vulnerabilities in an entrepreneur’s product, business strategy, or company value.

Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, and Kevin O'Leary attend the Tribeca Talks Panel: 10 Years Of "Shark Tank"

The entrepreneur can agree to a deal on a handshake on the show if a panelist is interested. However, if all panelists decline, the entrepreneur leaves empty-handed.

The show depicts the drama of pitch sessions and exchanges between tycoons and entrepreneurs. With the high stakes and fierce competition, it’s no wonder the show has become a fan favorite.

Let’s uncover the net worth of the six most prominent sharks on the show, so read on to find out who is the wealthiest investor on Shark Tank.

6. Barbara Corcoran – $100 Million Net Worth

Barbara Corcoran has a net worth of $100 million. Despite having the lowest net worth of the Shark Tank investors, Corcoran’s wealth is nothing to sneeze at.

Forbes recognizes her for growing a $1000 real estate investment into a $6 billion company, making her a true business powerhouse.

One of the original "Shark" investors on ABC's Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran is an American businesswoman, investor, consultant, author, and television personality who has a net worth of $100 million

The 74-year-old American businesswoman’s impressive career started at a young age, having worked for 20 different companies by the time she was just 23 years old. But her decision to start her business with her then-boyfriend put her on the map.

Although they broke up roughly seven years later, Corcoran was determined to succeed, and everything turned out well for her. She is the creator of the enormously successful New York City real estate company, the Corcoran Group, now worth billions of dollars.

As a Shark, Corcoran has closed 130 agreements on the show, with the biggest being a $350,000 investment for 40% of Coverplay. But her giving nature goes beyond just investing in businesses.

Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, and Mark Cuban attend the Disney & ABC Television Group's "2013 Summer TCA Tour" at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on August 4, 2013, in Beverly Hills, California

Outside of the show, Corcoran shares her business knowledge and counsel through two podcasts and a book on her successful career as an entrepreneur.

And with over 80 business investments under her belt, she may be the most giving Shark, where Entrepreneur reported that she recently took her staff on a shopping spree in New York City’s iconic stores.

5. Lori Greiner – $150 Million Net Worth

Lori Greiner is undoubtedly one of the most innovative minds on Shark Tank. With a net worth of $150 million, she has invested over $9.5 million in companies featured on the show, including the popular products Squatty Potty and Scrub Daddy.

With hundreds of inventions and 120 patents to her name and known for her role as an investor on ABC's Shark Tank, Lori Greiner is an American jewelry designer, reality TV judge, and entrepreneur with a net worth of $150 million

However, her clever invention of the earring organizer started it all for her. In 1996, the 54-year-old TV personality realized a gap in the market and designed a practical and stylish earring organizer. Her product was so successful that it was picked up by J.C Penney, paving the way for her future success.

Over the years, Greiner has continued to create new inventions, such as a crossbody phone bag , and holds over 100 patents. She gained notoriety as a jewelry designer, launching her show Clever & Unique Creations on QVC in 2000, earning her the title “Queen of QVC.”

She founded her own company, For Your Ease Only, Inc., where she serves as the president, continuing to develop innovative consumer products.

Lori Greiner gained the nickname "Queen of QVC" through her show Clever & Unique Creations, which premiered on the network in 2000

Beyond her business ventures, Greiner is also a sought-after motivational speaker, sharing her inspiring story with audiences worldwide. Her infectious energy and passion for entrepreneurship inspire others to pursue their dreams and take risks.

4. Robert Herjavec – $200 Million Net Worth

Robert Herjavec’s journey to a whopping $200 million net worth is a true rags-to-riches story. Starting as a waiter and newspaper salesman, he had a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.

The 60-year-old Croatian-Canadian businessman founded his first IT company, BRAK Systems, in 1990, focusing on internet security, a growing concern. This venture was a resounding success and motivated him to start a second IT company, the Herjavec Group, in 2003.

As a Shark on Shark Tank, Herjavec has invested around $16 million in businesses that can benefit from his technology and cyber security expertise. His keen eye for innovation and potential has made him make many lucrative deals on the show.

Herjavec has also appeared in Dragons’ Den and has been recognized by the Governor-General of Canada with the 2012 Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his outstanding service to the country.

Besides his business ventures, Herjavec is a world authority on information security and a member of the US Chamber of Commerce Task Force for Cybersecurity.

He has received many accolades for his contributions to the technology industry, including the 2012 Ernst & Young Ontario Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology.

3. Daymond John – $350 Million Net Worth

Daymond John’s journey from a struggling entrepreneur to a Shark Tank investor with a net worth of $350 million is genuinely remarkable.

He founded FUBU (For Us By Us), a sportswear company known for its high-quality sportswear, in 1982 and made it a household name.

The founder of The Shark Group, Daymond John is an American businessman, fashion designer, author, and television personality with a net worth of $350 million

John initially had difficulty getting his business off the ground but persevered and eventually found success. His mother took out a $100,000 mortgage on their house to help fund FUBU, showing her unwavering faith in her son’s ability to succeed.

The 54-year-old investor worked full-time at Red Lobster while dedicating time to his business. His hard work paid off, and FUBU became a significant success. Today, John is an accomplished businessman, motivational speaker, and bestselling author with four books.

2. Kevin O’Leary – $400 Million Net Worth

Kevin O’Leary, or Mr. Wonderful, is a renowned businessman and investor who has built an empire of successful companies. His net worth of $400 million speaks for itself, with his numerous business ventures and strategic investments contributing to his enormous success.

In 1986, the 68-year-old Canadian businessman founded SoftKey Software Products, an entertainment software provider, which Mattel acquired for $4.2 billion in 1999, marking a significant milestone in his career.

O’Leary’s involvement in Shark Tank has also helped boost his reputation and wealth. He is known for his straightforward and no-nonsense approach to business, which has earned him praise and criticism. But his sharp business acumen has been the driving force behind his success, as he has started, invested in, and sold countless enterprises throughout his career.

One of his smart business moves was investing in Storage Now Holdings, a company that offered temperature-controlled storage to businesses, with Pfizer as one of its principal clients. He made $4.5 million from selling his shares in 2007, highlighting his ability to make wise investment decisions.

1. Mark Cuban – $5.1 Billion Net Worth

Mark Cuban is one of the wealthiest people in the United States and the richest shark on Shark Tank. With a net worth of $5.1 billion as of 2023 and ranked #177 on the Forbes 400 list in 2020, Cuban vastly outweighs everyone else on the show in terms of wealth.

Since joining Shark Tank as a guest in season two, the Dallas Mavericks NBA team owner has continued to increase his wealth through funding various initiatives.

His most recent venture, Cost Plus Pharmacy, aims to lower the cost of prescription medication for Americans, further adding to his fortune.

Cuban is also known for his involvement in the NFT and cryptocurrency industries, making him an influential figure in the business world.

3. Daymond John ($350 million)

Daymond John became a household name in sports through his sportswear brand FUBU. He started the company in 1992 while still living with his mother and saw that his ideas were fetching him quite a bit of profit. With the business needing time to grow and his family in need of money, Daymond worked a full-time job at Red Lobster and committed all his free time to develop FUBU. Sources state that Daymond and his mother contributed to the business by mortgaging their house for $100,000. Initially, the company struggled as they had no proper investment to fulfill their orders. However, with the growing popularity, the problems gradually disappeared, and FUBU earned an excellent reputation in the sportswear industry.

1. Mark Cuban ($4.5 billion)

The richest Shark on ‘Shark Tank’ by a mile, Mark Cuban has built up his empire through hard work and dedication. Right from his younger days, Mark Cuban had a knack for business, be it through selling garbage bags or newspapers. However, interestingly, he found his first successful company after getting fired from a computer software salesman job. The failure propelled him to launch MicroSolutions, a software company that competed with the one that fired him.

Cuban used his talent to take his business to heights and finally sold it for $6 million in 1990. He then took on the most significant venture in his life by investing $10,000 in a company called AudioNet, a streaming service for various sports, which he operated along with Todd Wagner. By 1998, the company was renamed Broadcast.com, and just nine months after getting listed, it was bought by Yahoo for $5.7 billion in 1999. With the sale making Cuban a billionaire, he invested in numerous sports-related businesses, which has contributed heavily towards his net worth.

Cuban is also known for investing in multiple promising start-ups and companies, which earned him a pretty profit. He even owns a majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks and co-established 2929 Entertainment LLC with Todd Wagner. At present, Cuban is a co-owner of 2929 entertainment. Through it, he co-owns and operates numerous subsidiaries, including but not limited to 2929 Productions, Magnolia Pictures, Spotlight Cinema Networks, and AXS TV.

Cuban is also an established author, having published several books and has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows. Being a regular on ‘Shark Tank’ since season 3 has also allowed Cuban to invest in several profitable ventures. His massive and successful empire is what paved the way for him to amass a humongous net worth of $4.5 billion.

The ‘Shark Tank’ Cast’s Best Tips on How To Become a Millionaire

tour net worth shark tank

May 02, 2024 — 08:00 am EDT

Written by Yaël Bizouati-Kennedy for GOBankingRates  ->

“Shark Tank” has been helping promising entrepreneurs launch their products since 2009 — and has created many millionaires.

And the “Shark Tank” cast speaks for itself in terms of financial success: Whether it’s investor and entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary — Mr. Wonderful — billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban or real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, they are all successful entrepreneurs and businesspeople in their own right, even though they each took different paths to become wealthy .

Here are their best tips to become a millionaire .

Be Competitive

Barbara Corcoran — who has a net worth of more than $100 million — told Entrepreneur that being competitive is key to success.

“If you want to be really rich, you better decide early to start a business of your own,” she told Entrepreneur. “It’s only when you put yourself in charge that you have a shot at becoming rich.”

According to her, while you need a passion to succeed, you will also need a strong work ethic and to put in as many hours as possible.

“But, if you’re competitive and pigheaded enough to get over the failures without wasting time feeling sorry for yourself, and if you can inspire enough good people to join you, you can pretty much become as rich as you want,” she said.

This is something she has reiterated several times — for instance, in a March 2023 TikTok video, Corcoran said that her struggles at school at a young age — “I couldn’t do letters and numbers my whole life” — taught her resilience.

“I learned how to rebound,” she said in the video. “Get through any obstacle. I try harder than the next guy, and I work twice as hard as the next guy. But that’s OK. That’s exactly what built my business and got me rich.”

That’s the motto of Mark Cuban, who has a $5.4 billion net worth, according to Forbes.

“To become a millionaire, you’ve really got to find something that you love to do, because it’s going to take so much work that you can’t just say, “OK, this is the one industry I can make a lot of money in.’ Or, and I get this all the time, which is crazy: ‘I want to be rich. What kind of company should I start?’ You can’t do that. It doesn’t work like that,” Cuban told Entrepreneur.

Cuban added that you not only have to be good at something, but you also need to be willing to work hard and “and do whatever it takes.”

“Then, if you’re fortunate, that turns into something that creates wealth for you,” he said.

Work for Yourself

Kevin O’Leary — who has a $400 million net worth, according to Entrepreneur — argued that you cannot become a millionaire if you work for someone else.

“That’s a highly unlikely outcome, unless it’s an entrepreneurial situation where you’re getting some equity in the company,” he told Entrepreneur. “If you can afford to take a risk and you’re young enough, either start your own company or be involved with one where you’re racking up equity. There’s no other path to becoming a millionaire. No employer is going to let you make a million dollars off of their business. They don’t have to.”

Stay Out of Debt

Chris Sacca, founder and partner of Lowercase Capital, has a $1.2 billion net worth, according to Forbes. According to him, staying out of debt is a key component of building wealth and becoming a millionaire.

“People get out ahead of themselves in debt with spending on all of their desires,” Sacca told Entrepreneur. “But if you learn to live pretty simply and well, well under your means, you feel incredibly, incredibly rich and that frees you up and gives you the option to start something new, to leave the job you’re not excited about, where there might be a glass ceiling on you.”

Other cast members agree that staying out of debt is the way to wealth.

For instance, O’Leary said in a Facebook post that this is the way to achieve financial freedom.

“Money might not buy happiness but I can promise you one thing…it’s A LOT easier to be happy with financial freedom!! I challenge you to start your journey toward financial freedom today by taking three steps: spend less, save more, invest the rest,” he wrote in the post.
