I walked 5 rounds of golf this spring in my Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes . The new technologies immediately impressed with their amazing comfort, yet thinner design.  My feet are now closer to the ground, but still having the same cushion and support as before.  If you want to wear a shoe that can support the grind of tour players, this is one of the best spiked shoes for 2024.

Lightstrike Cushion & Boost

The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes have something new and something old built into their cushion system.  Boost has been a mainstay in Adidas shoes for over a decade.  It looks like styrofoam beads glued together to create one of the best cushion supports in the sole of a shoe, while not getting squishy.  Boost has been used for the entire sole in previous version, but it can get thick and raise the foot off the ground just a touch more than maybe necessary.  Enter Lightstrike Cushion which is Adidas newest technology to offer cushion without lift.  It feels just as soft as Boost in the pads of my feet without lifting them off the ground.  I like the lowered feeling while still having a soft strike on each step.

Spiked GRIP

The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes are spiked shoes.  While I’ve mainly moved to spikeless shoes for most of my golf rounds, every now and then I like to gain the confidence and traction of a spiked shoe.  If conditions aren’t ideal, these offer the best traction you can get.  I didn’t slip a single time and the soles of these shoes maintain clean connected traction on every step in any conditions.  While casual rounds you can get by with spikeless shoes because it isn’t that big of deal if you slip, but for tournament rounds having the confidence and traction of these shoes is a must.

Torsion Bridge

The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes have a Torsion Bridge.  This concept has been part of the Tour360 family for many generations and this is the newest version connecting the twisting motion from the front of the feet to the heels.  That twisting is stablized by the Torsion Bridge.  It also helps create a little spring in each step.  It connects the mid section of the foot which is wrapped with the 360wrap for even more stability during the swing.

The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes were comfortable for 18 holes the same day I got them.  I took them from the box to the course and they were like broken in well worn shoes on the 1st hole.  Not in any sort of sloppy way, but there are soft, cushiony and supple when you first put them on.  I love shoes that don’t require a break-in period, especially spiked shoes since you can’t break them in off the course.  The combination of materials, cushion, Lightstrike and Boost make these one of the most comfortable version of the Tour360 golf shoe yet.

Performance

The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoes are tournament ready shoes for serious golf. They will work for a casual weekend round or for all 72 holes at a tour stop.  You can grind with these shoes or spend a lazy afternoon hitting shots with the guys.  They are comfortable to wear for hours and serious enough for the most demanding of courses and elements.  They are waterproof so you can wear them whenever you need them and they have incredible traction and support. I think the Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoe version is one of their best because they were able to bring the golfers feet closer to the ground while still offering really good cushion. I think this helps keep the bottom of the swing in a more natural spot. No matter what kind of round or practice session you are using these for, they work perfectly.

Adidas improved their flagship golf shoe in 2024.  The Adidas Tour360 ’24 Golf Shoe is their best spiked golf shoe yet.  The new technologies, the lower to the ground base, the “right-out-of-the-box” comfort, the all-weather traction and Tour360 stability make this a shoe worthy of tournament play, yet comfortable enough for casual rounds.  It doesn’t matter which type of golfer you are, these shoes were made for walking.  You can enjoy your round of golf with shoes that support your needs of comfort, stability and traction.

Adidas Tour360 22 Golf Shoes Review

The Adidas Tour360 22 golf shoe is an athletic shoe with stability, padding for comfortability, and recycled waterproof materials to keep feet dry.

Introduction

The Adidas Tour360 has been Adidas’s marquee golf shoe for years.  Highlights for the 2022 model includes an improved traction system for better stability, interior padding that molds to your foot over time, and recycled materials for those looking to better the environment.  Two-time major winner Dustin Johnson has worn the Adidas Tour360’s exclusively since their inception.  Why?  By the end of this review, you should have the answer.

First thing that popped out when I opened the box was the color scheme.  Although mostly white, the blue and orange really pops and adds a subtle touch of flare.   The Tour360 22 comes in five different colorways if this type of flare isn’t quite your cup of tea.

Colors aside, the entire outer layer of the shoe is made of leather and other waterproof materials that can be easily cleaned to keep them looking new for an extended period of time.

New for 2022, the spikes on the bottom are noticeably wider but not replaceable as seen in previous models.  The heel and sole are comprised of the foam material which we have seen before.

The Adidas Tour360 22 golf shoes were more comfortable than I had anticipated .  The foam insert molded to my foot shape and got more comfortable with time.  The built-in sock liner also provided padding for comfort, but moreso helped solidify my foot inside the shoe .  This kept me from feeling like my foot would slide and move too much inside.

The mid-top height around the ankle contributed to the overall stability but could potentially be a recipe for blisters.   Using the right sock height was key and should be considered by anyone taking these out for the first time.

Moving on to fit, the inner sock lining makes it a bit more snug at first, so if you’re in between sizes, go with the bigger size .  I usually am between a 9.5 and 10 on most shoes and the size 10 worked perfectly.

Performance

When I initially put these on, I immediately noticed the wide base.  The width made me feel well connected to the ground , almost cemented into the turf beneath me.  I had plenty of confidence to make an aggressive swing in any condition.

Speaking of conditions, the Adidas Tour360 22’s leather materials are totally waterproof as proven with the kitchen faucet test.  Not only did these stay dry inside but the partially recycled materials made it easy to keep clean.  Just wipe any dirt or debris right off with a damp cloth, and they’ll look brand new.

As I started wearing these, I noticed the foam heel cushioning will get you up a little higher off the ground.  For me, any golf shoe with some lift to it makes me feel like I can get a slightly better swing on the ball.  It’s not necessarily a good thing for everyone but something to note before purchasing.

These are certainly among some of the most comfortable fully spiked golf shoes I have ever tested .  With spring coming and soggy rounds inevitable, these will be perfect for keeping my feet dry and stable.  At $210 a pair , not only are you contributing to a shoe with a reduction in environmental impact, but the recycled materials will help extend the life of your shoes by keeping them clean and fresh for every round.

The Adidas Tour360 has the looks of an athletic shoe but it carries a ton of performance tricks up its sleeve.  The wide spikes allow for traction with an ergonomic foam sole that forms to your foot.  If you crave more stability and support in your shoe without losing the comfort much like 2-time major winner Dustin Johnson, check out the Adidas Tour360 22.

I have worn Tour 360s forever and have 2 pairs in my current rotation. Always found them, and other Adidas golf shoes, to be the best fitting for me and very comfortable and stable. I’m not sure about these however. I want spiked or spikeless not some hybrid where if you happen to walk on pavement for any length of time (coming across the parking lot to the tee, etc.) the spikes are likely to wear out more quickly. At $210 per pair that may be too high a price to pay for shoes that may not last over time and far more expensive than previous models too. I’ll wait and see on these to see how they last for people.

They really need to bring back the adipower line. A spiked shoe with boost that doesn’t cost 200 bucks is necessary. The codechaos line that replaced it is super ugly and doesn’t have a spiked option.

Are the spikes replaceable?

No they are not.

Not sure who would want to pay $200 for golf shoes and not be able to replace the spikes. I have had many pairs where the spikes were replaced three or more times in their lifetime. Additionally I will never return to the days where new shoes could cause blisters. With the wide array of shoe choices I can’t understand who would take a chance on these.

Tried these recently but wound up returning them. I will say, stability-wise, they’re pretty exceptional. But for the wide foot gang, these are perhaps Adidas’ least friendly release in recent memory. The materials are just too rigid to make these work if you’re a wide-footer, compared to, say, the Solarthons or ZG21s. I’m hoping they eventually start to offer these in wide sizes.

Love my Black 360 22’s. Comfort, stability, quality, style, it’s all there. My feet usually get tired after 18 but not with these. The Boost foam is amazing. Also these don’t cause blisters. 3 stripes for life!

Agree with previous comment. Not being able to replace spikes is seen as a money grabbing exercise by Adidas who want us to fork out for new shoes. Shame.

These shoes are terrific. Broke them out for the first time walking bethpage…probably not the smartest move. No blisters, no issues. The spikes/durability concerns are fair…but only time will tell there.

My wife came home and surprised me with the black and white tour 360s last night. I played 18 this morning and big difference in stability and comfort than anything I’ve worn before including my Nike’s. The spikes are big and placed axactly where your feet should be on address. Wear them and youll know what i mean. This is the best shoe out there. They’re expensive and the spikes aren’t replaceable but this is a quality shoe that benefits performance. Just buy a new pair when they wear out. Spike life could be 1 year could be 5 years depending on use and care.

Just purchase the tour 360 22 they have great stability but after three holes had a blister on left heal by the time I got to the 9th hole had to remove these for now both heals are blisterd can’t see these as a walking shoe I play 18 holes 5 days a week very disappointed for my first pair of Addias golf shoe purchased from sport chek

Adidas says you should get 200 rounds before the spikes wear out. I play 4 rounds a week so they might last 1 year??? My previous tour 360 shoes lasted me 3 years before replacing so I will be sending this new pair back pair back. Also, THERE IS NO MENTION OF NON REMOVABLE SPIKES ON THE WEB SITE WHERE I PURCHASED THE SHOES (PGA SUPERSTORE)!

Hope I didn’t make a mistake by getting these non replaceable spikes. It didn’t even dawn on me that they were not replaceable till I had already bought them otherwise I may have rethunk it. I’ve worn Tour 360 since they first came out for the exceptional stability they provide over most other brands and have been very happy with the functionality of the 360 concept. As mentioned only time will tell on the longevity of the spikes….fingers crossed.

If i knew that you couldn’t replace worn cleats on this shoe i wouldn’t have bought them.The cleats are worn already.

When I first started wearing these they tore both heels off of me, decided to leave them be for a while to allow my heels recover but every time since then it’s the same thing. End up having to take them off after 8 or 9 holes. I have found that the insole is to high resulting in my heel been raised and ribbing off the foam at the back. I removed the insole and that seems to of work although their now not as comfortable.

17 years ago, we introduced the TOUR360 to the world. At the time, we purposefully took a lot of risks when it came to design because we wanted to challenge conventional thinking on what a premium performance shoe could represent. That first model ushered-in an era for what has now become our flagship footwear franchise worn by major champions and amateurs all around the world. Today we’re introducing the next chapter: TOUR360 22.

After nearly two decades of building upon and improving that original model of the TOUR360, we went back to the beginning; adopting that same mindset of taking risks that ultimately drove the creation for that first model. With the TOUR360 22, our primary focus was to re-examine how we addressed two critical areas that are important for golfers of all skill levels: fit and traction.

To get there, we looked at historical models of the TOUR360 as well as our own brand archives from other categories for inspiration. We landed on a recipe of key features that makes this our best-performing TOUR360 to date. From the ground up, the TOUR360 22 sits on our Feet You Wear™ last, serving as the foundation for our NEW TOUR360 FIT , while our new direct-injected SPIKEMORE traction system will help golfers stay locked-in and increase confidence with every swing. It’s the first time in golf that we’ve included these features.

“The TOUR360 is synonymous with pinnacle technology and premium materials, and we remained true to that throughout the design process of this new model,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director, adidas Golf. “Golfers will instantly notice a more natural fit that offers better stability, better traction and amazing comfort. I’ve been a part of the creation of every model of the TOUR360, so I can confidently say that this is our best-performing model we have ever introduced.”

With so much lateral movement and weight transfer in the golf swing, we were intrigued with the use-cases that our brand’s Feet You Wear last had to offer. We first introduced Feet You Wear in 1996. The design mimics the natural shape of the foot, ultimately helping to create a better connection with the ground and accommodate the natural movements of the foot in all directions. Knowing how important the ground is in the golf swing, an added benefit of using the Feet You Wear last helps golfers utilize this connection with the ground to generate power more easily in the swing. The design truly hugs and cradles the natural contours of the foot to optimize performance.

The Feet You Wear last is just one component of our NEW TOUR360 FIT that we’re introducing with TOUR360 22. The NEW TOUR360 FIT includes:

• DUALSTACK Midsole – We combined the comfort of our full-length BOOST cushioning with an EVA stability frame. This EVA stability frame is a horseshoe-shaped piece that surrounds our full-length BOOST with EVA chassis, strategically placed on the perimeter of the forefoot to provide golfers with lightweight stability, comfort and performance. It’s our most technical and advanced midsole that we have ever offered. The benefits are not easily seen, but certainly felt.
• GEOFIT Collar Pad – Designed to enhance the fit and feel on the top of the foot, this piece gently conforms to the individual to provide a more personalized and comfortable fit.
• 3D TORSION™ SYSTEM – Targeted stability in the midfoot, this mold plate enhances the connection with the ground while also helping to stabilize footwork throughout the swing.
• INSITE Sockliner - Working in tandem with the Feet You Wear last, this sockliner cradles the contours of the foot, especially in the heel, to provide enhanced cushioning, comfort, and support.

We didn’t stop there. We’re introducing our latest iteration of SPIKEMORE with the TOUR360 22 that features cleats directly injected onto the TPU base. We found that by injecting the cleats, we could provide more precise locations that would allow us to adjust density, make the inside and outside arm shapes unique and adjust the size depending on where the cleat sits on the outsole. Each cleat also includes a center cone, which helps to improve overall grip. While larger than our spikes of the past, this new configuration and variance in size helps to disperse weight and promote increased green friendliness.

As part of our effort to improve fit, we collaborated with the team at BOA® Technology to elevate both the fit and performance for the BOA models of the TOUR360 22. We worked with their team at the BOA Fit Performance Lab to find a way to optimize both fit and function. The PerformFit Wrap™ system we created consists of two overlapping panels that pull down over the top of the instep. The BOA Fit System, featuring the micro-adjustable Li2 dial wraps around the heel, locking the foot into place while providing customized fit. The BOA model also features a sockfit construction, designed to give golfers ultimate support, stability, and confidence.

Footwear is so important in the golf swing, but it can also help boost confidence. After spending quite a bit of time testing the TOUR360 22, I know golfers will feel a higher level of stability, traction and comfort, which are things we all need from our footwear out on the course so that we can perform our best.”

adidas Tour360 24 Golf Shoe Review

Entering its 19th year, the Tour360 franchise has a fresh update for 2024. But how did it perform when we took it out onto the golf course?

adidas' comprehensive redesign of its flagship performance golf shoe has paid dividends in what is, to us, the complete all round spiked golf shoe. The development team has clearly thought about every detail of what golfers need from a shoe and have developed a premium, thoughtful, comfortable and good looking golf shoe that raises the bar for the Tour360 franchise once again.

To me, there are only two golf shoe franchises worth talking about as true icons. The FootJoy Pro/SL - which has seen a 2024 update in the form of the new Pro/SLX - and the adidas Tour360. adidas' flagship performance golf shoe is approaching its 20th anniversary, a show of stunning longevity, and its latest version, the Tour360 24, has benefitted from a complete redesign from the inside out, introducing new technology into the familiar, well-loved silhouette. After spending some time chatting with the adidas team at the shoe's global launch in early January and now having played in some dry and wet conditions over the last six weeks testing the new shoe, I'm happy to report adidas' Tour360 24 has taken the 19 -year-old franchise another leap forward for spiked golf shoe design. 

Despite the pleasingly familiar looks, lots has changed as part of the Tour360 24 in an attempt to make it one of the best golf shoes for a variety of golfers. When I spoke with the developers of Tour360 24, they were happy to acknowledge some of the aspects of Tour360 22 needed some work, despite its success. The old spikes moulded into the outsole, while offering more grip, weren't replaceable and the materials used in the heel area also needed some tweaking. adidas listened closely to the feedback from the generation, with the fit, performance and durability key areas of focus when it came to building this shoe as one of the best spiked golf shoes in its class. 

I'll start with the biggest and best improvement in my eyes - new 'T-Shape' suede microfiber heel. This new design is a three-piece construction combining a soft, anti abrasive sandwiched textile, running from the inside heel to the top of the collar. This is a significantly softer material than in Tour360 22 and I could immediately feel the difference. Those who may have had blistering or wear issues with previous Tour360 models can now wear with confidence and, for me, its the best upgrade to the shoe. I deliberately wore some low ankle socks during my first two rounds in the Tour360 to see how this material would feel and I experienced no rubbing and no soreness after walking 36 holes - adidas' work here has really paid off. Not only does this reconstructed heel offer loads of comfort, but it'll be longer lasting too in an area of wear and tear all of the best golf shoes will succumb to. 

One of the most unique design elements of Tour360 24 you may have noticed is the area adidas has dubbed the Torsion Bridge. This area, highlighted in green in the hero colorway I tested, sits across the mid foot and forefoot and is designed to improve stability as golfers load and unload power through the golf swing. For Tour360 24, it has been made more rigid through the top plate and more flexible in the bottom plate. During the rounds I played, I could really feel the bridge area working through the swing, offering a confidence inspiring sensation that allowed me to feel like I was really unloading my full power through the swing. When combined with the 360Wrap - the extended materials coming from the three stripe logo - there is a superb sensation of support surrounding your entire foot through the swing. 

Adidas worked closely with BOA in its BOA Tour360 24 variant. 

I'll be honest in saying adidas isn't the first golf shoe brand you think of when it comes to comfort. Often its the best Ecco shoes or best FootJoy shoes that come to mind for this purpose as well as S kechers shoes . However, immediately after slipping on the new shoe there was a real sense of premium comfort. I think it was mainly a mixture of the new suede heel area, the softness of the leather used in the upper and the sheer quality of the fit surrounding my whole foot that instantly made me very at home in the shoe. The insole has been reshaped from the last generation and I could instantly feel more arch support and heel support which certainly added to the levels on comfort when combined with the rest of the shoe. While the Under Armour Drive Pro - another excellent spiked golf shoe to have been released this year - had a similarly well-rounded fit, the feel was nowhere near as premium or soft as the Tour 360 24, which is a nod to adidas' quality construction as one of the most comfortable shoes I've tested. 

Further adding to comfort, but also bolstering performance, is adidas' midsole technology - Lightstrike and Jet Boost. I used Lightstrike for the first time in last year's ZG23 golf shoe and this year adidas has combined that with Jet Boost to create a more all-rounded midsole. While Lightstrike has been used in the forefoot, Jet Boost, which is slightly more energy returning, has been used in the heel - creating what the brand hoped was the ideal blend of cushioning and stability. It has certainly come to fruition and the shoe offers firm support where you need it through the swing, but good levels of softness that you need when you're walking. Some golf shoes I've tested have offered great support but little walking comfort with some model offering superb walking comfort, but aren't supportive enough and leave my foot rolls around in the shoe during the swing. Neither are ideal and so adidas' solution on Tour360 24 has struck the right balance in my opinion. 

The outsole is another area adidas has given a lot of thought to, and it has really paid off when you're out on the course. The outsole has been given an extra 7th spike - one more than the six on the adidas ZG23 and Tour360 22 - that has been positioned in the toe area with the aim to allow better toe-off performance through the swing and improve the power a player can harness from the ground. While that's hard to precisely quantify on the golf course, I can report the grip and security through the foot is second to none. 

The secondary traction is also greatly improved over the last generation with new flex grooves that offer superb grip working in tandem with the seven spikes. The outsole has also been given a gloss finish, a clever detail I loved as it stops the outsole clogging with dirt as easily. Such is the premium nature of the leather used the upper, it will need some looking after to keep it in its best form. I struggle to see this is a real negative, as the material is brilliant, but it's worth noting that the Tour360 24 will need a decent amount of taking care of to keep in good condition. After a few rounds, I noticed I'd need to be making sure I use shoe horns when I'm storing them and making sure to give them a good clean to make sure mud didn't become trapped in the creased areas. This really is a very minor point, but one I thought would be worth making to understand what Tour360 24 is like to use day to day. 

Overall Tour360 24 is everything golfer's want and need from a golf shoe, with a premium look, feel and attention to detail that allows me to confidently say this is one  the best golf shoes I've ever tested in my three years doing this job. The holistic approach adidas has gone into to create this shoe has paid dividends and clearly no stone has been left unturned in the design and execution. The development team has clearly thought carefully about every moment a golfer spends with a golf shoe and have created a model that is a joy to use day to day. When I'm not testing other golf shoes, the Tour360 24 will be my absolute go-to shoe for this season and I'm incredibly excited to spend the season in them. 

Tour360 24 will be available from February 29th, with a standard laced and BOA option available in both men's and women's styles. It arrives with an RRP of £160 or $220.
