Jerry Seinfeld has unveiled a fresh slate of 2023 shows for his ongoing residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre with tickets quickly going up for grabs along with his previously announced tour dates this year. The massive comedy trek should hopefully be enough to sustain audiences until the standup legend delivers his long-developing Pop Tarts origin film, Unfrosted .

What Is Jerry Seinfeld’s Next Tour?

The 23 Hours to Kill comedian will continue an ongoing 2022 North American circuit in October, then wrap the year with multiple shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York. He’ll relaunch in 2023 with an even longer stint at the Beacon plus a road trip that hits Florida, California, and more. The tour features several double-booked dates that include separate early and late shows with performances at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. local time.

Seinfeld’s tour resumes in Baltimore on October 28th then heads west via Saginaw, Michigan to Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona; Santa Barbara, California; and Reno, Nevada. He’ll open his next Beacon residency on November 18th with four shows between that night and the following before playing Richmond, Virginia on December 2nd and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on December 9th. His final 2022 shows find the comedian back in New York on December 16th and December 17th.

The tour kicks off 2023 in Fort Lauderdale on January 6th and settles in Florida for another night in Sarasota on January 13th. Seinfeld’s new Beacon Theatre dates follow on January 20th, January 21st, February 3rd, February 4th, March 3rd, and March 4th, with two performances each day. In-between, he’ll deliver headlining spots in Washington, D.C.; Stockton, California; and West Palm Beach, Florida. His current schedule winds down after stops in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlantic City, New Jersey in April and a final show in Hanover, Maryland on May 19th.

Jerry Seinfeld can’t stay away from the stage.

The 68-year-old funnyman has lined up nearly 50 shows from Oct. 2022 all the way until July 2023.

That includes 20 (!) shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre as part of his ongoing monthly residency from November through March and two gigs at Atlantic City’s Borgata Casino Event Center on Dec. 10 and April 22, 2023.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on NYC tickets was on Vivid Seats for $189 before fees.

Orchestra seats start at $446 before fees.

For those planning to cross state lines into New Jersey, you can snag Borgata tickets for as low as $171 before fees for the Dec. 10 performance.

However, Seinfeld isn’t just taking his talents to the Northeast.

He’ll also play multiple dates in Arizona , Florida , Washington, D.C. , Las Vegas and Iowa , to name just a few locales on his comprehensive tour itinerary.

Sting, Jerry Seinfeld to appear in Billy Joel's 100th MSG concert special

March 30 (UPI) -- Grammy winner Sting and comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be seen on Billy Joel's 100th Madison Square Garden concert special, airing April 14 on CBS and Paramount+.

Sting performed Joel's hit "Big Man on Mulberry Street" and his own song, "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic," on Thursday's show.

Seinfeld joined his fellow Long Islander Joel on stage to raise a banner marking his unprecedented run of concerts at the famed New York City venue.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who is 74, will wrap up his 10-year, monthly residency at MSG this summer after his career 150th performance at the venue.

He is known for hits like "Movin' Out," "My Life," "You May Be Right," "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant," "Only the Good Die Young," "Piano Man," "Uptown Girl," "Pressure" and "We Didn't Start the Fire."

His latest hit, "Turn the Lights Back On," was released earlier this year.

“What’s the deal with this area? Is it called Hampton Roads, Tidewater or the 757? I’m confused. And, how do you say Norfolk? The locals pronounce it in an off-color way with the second syllable sounding a little R-rated. I’m not going to say it. You all know how you pronounce ‘folk.'”

So, this is my mediocre impersonation of one of my favorite comedians of all time. His laidback delivery always has the right mix of voice inflection mixed with a dose of sarcasm. Who is it? The opener, “What’s the deal with… ?” should have been the clue, not my weak attempt at an opening joke. I’m no Jerry Seinfeld, so what did you expect?

Yes, Seinfeld is my favorite comedian. I love his witty humor that’s built around the most minuscule observations. He literally says what we’re secretly thinking and skillfully crafts it into a comedic routine. He will take a fleeting thought and transform it into a laugh-out-loud moment. Also, he’s one of the rare comedians that gets a laugh minus the use of swear words. That’s talent!

I was first introduced to Seinfeld humor when Jerry starred in his own NBC “Seinfeld” sitcom, which ran from 1989-1998. The episodes resonated with me because of the relatable topics that made nothing sound funny.

As a college kid watching the show, I remember one scenario that really hit home. The story line focused on nonfat yogurt, which was a food trend in the 1990s. When Jerry and Elaine had gained weight, they became suspicious that the nonfat yogurt from the local shop was not fat-free. They had it tested in a lab and found out that it did have fat. That’s why they were gaining weight.

This was hysterical to me because I had often wondered myself if the nonfat yogurt served at my dining hall was really nonfat. I had gained the freshman 15 and always thought the fat-free yogurt tasted too good to be true. It was like Seinfeld had read my mind with that script.

Other iconic episodes include classics such as the “Soup Nazi,” “Man hands” and “The puffy shirt.” And, don’t forget the “Yada, yada” episode that created new popular slang. Country singer Brandon Lay even used the catchphrase as a title for one of his songs.

Over the years, I’ve channeled my inner Seinfeld by writing about my little observations with family, dogs and life experiences. Seinfeld is the master of delivering a funny show about nothing, and I try to think like him when writing about everyday topics. I’ve discovered, like Seinfeld, there’s a lot to say about nothing. And it can be pretty darn funny.

So, what’s the deal? Why am I going on and on about Jerry? He’s coming to Norfolk’s Chrysler Hall May 18. I’ve seen his show twice in Norfolk. You’ll spend an evening laughing about real life situations, and you’ll find out what’s the deal with ___? Seinfeld will give you the answer at the show and deliver it with his signature cadence.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station  was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.
