American songwriter, singer, producer, and guitarist Chris Stapleton has had a long journey in the music industry. His work is considered a return to the pure art that country music once was: gritty, soulful, and blues-tinged storytelling in musical form...

...with as many foot-stomping songs as mournful tales of sorrow.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Stapleton would later move to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a degree in engineering. Instead of finishing his degree, he decided to drop out and focus on his true love — music. While Stapleton is known today for his own hit albums, he began as a contracted songwriter. Even after achieving fame as a musician in his own right, his way with words keeps top talent asking for him by name By 2018, Stapleton had written and co-written over 170 songs, including numerous number-one country hits.

Songs attributed to Stapleton’s genius writing skills include Kenny Chesney’s number-one “Never Wanted Nothing More,” Luke Bryan’s “Drink a Beer,” and Josh Turner’s “Your Man.” In addition to working with many of the top names in the country music industry, Stapleton has also written songs for Adele, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson.

Before taking center stage as a solo artist, Chris Stapleton was the frontman for two different bands. His first band was a bluegrass ensemble called The SteelDrivers, which he performed with from 2008 to 2010. The band won numerous accolades, including Emerging Artist of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association and Best Bluegrass Album. Stapleton went on to lead a second band, The Jompson Brothers, before recording his own solo record.

In 2015, Chris Stapleton broke onto the scene with his debut solo studio album Traveller. This album topped the US Billboard 200 charts and earned a number of CMA nominations. With the release of this album, Chris also earned Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year.

Next, Chris would go on to release two more studio albums in 2017: From a Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2. These albums would earn him a slew of additional awards, including his second CMA Award for Album of the Year.

Immediately after this dual release, Stapleton began his All-American Road Show tour. Then, in August 2020, he released his most recent award-winning album Starting Over. This album features the soulful and haunting country-meets-folk music for which the artist is known.

In 2021, Stapleton won Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “Starting Over” at the Country Music Awards. He also won album of the year for Starting Over, as well as additional awards for his work as a producer on the album. In 2022, he took home three awards at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, earning an award for every category in which he was nominated. He also performed at the event, showcasing his incredible on-stage presence.

For those lucky enough to catch one of Stapleton’s tour dates, the artist delivers a memorable experience. Stapleton’s wife Morgane often accompanies him onstage, adding beautiful, harmonious vocals to his soulful sets. It’s not just Stapleton’s musical talent that draws fans to his shows; it’s the sense of community he creates. The southern-born and raised artist is known for personally checking in on his fans, even going as far as offering water to those dancing along to his tunes.

Stapleton continues to tour in 2023, with shows spanning the US, including tour dates in Colorado, Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Arizona.

Live reviews

“It looks like we’re going to have some fun tonight.” Those words were obviously meant for the packed house at the El Rey Theatre in Chico, California, but Chris Stapleton couldn’t take his eyes off his wife when he spoke them. Concealing his true identity behind a grizzly mane and a weathered cowboy hat, the newly-crowned savior of country music seemed just a little uncomfortable in his own skin. It was almost as if he were convincing himself that it was going to be an enjoyable set. When he did expose his wide eyes to the crowd, apprehension could be read loud and clear, but then he’d turn them back to Morgane and let her reflection ease his nerves. She provided backup vocals and made her tambourine sing, but just like Amanda Shires at those Jason Isbell shows in Nashville, Morgane Stapleton’s primary role was that of a muse. Performing in front of an old movie screen, while a sold-out crowd sang every word back at them, the Stapletons must have felt like they were characters in some film themselves. - See more at: http://ilistensoyoudonthaveto.com/2015/11/16/chris-stapleton-el-rey-theatre-11-13-15/#sthash.1GXWlcBl.dpuf

Best night ever! Brett Cobb, Marty Stewart and the Superlatives, then Chris Stapleton!!! The roof was raised by their awesome sound and the crowd singing along to almost every tune. Chris seemed genuinely appreciative of his warm welcome! Seems like such a humble gentleman who stands and delivers with his whole heart. And, what a musician!!! His soulful voice and wailing guitar is mesmerizing! The band is super tight! He calls them his favorite musicians in the world, and they deserve this honor in the highest degree. I am so happy my husband and I will be going to the show in NH on 8/25! And thanks to the nice guy who convinced the tall seat jumpers to move so we could see the show!

Chris is a fine songwriter and even better performer. Great show. And I can’t be the only one to be somewhat disappointed that the opening couple of minutes of Freebird didn’t progress into a full blown cover. Marty Stuart was good too. But the venue needs some logistic reorganization big time. Well over an hour and a half to get from the turn off from highway to our seats. A distance of half a mile if that. Over 30 minutes to get through security. And going home was just as bad. Lots of staff but no plan for them to follow whatsoever. Won’t be going back. If Chris is playing I may make an exception, but not for anyone else.

Fantastic show with Joe Walsh, Don Henley, James Taylor, & Chris Stapleton at the Tacoma Dome on Veterans' Day. I didn't realize when I bought my tickets that it was a benefit show; it was really fun.

Chris (and all the performers) played mostly crowd pleasers. Chris sounded just like he does recorded - no better or worse (not complaining). I thought he'd be performing with his wife as back-up, but he had a full band. It would have been fun to hear one or two songs with just him and a backup singer, but maybe it wouldn't have worked well in a big arena show.

Moments before he was to perform the rain came and soaked most. That did not dampen the spirit of the fans. He sang some new songs from new album with Chris style and also included all our favourites. Ended with Tenessee Whiskey. He is an awesome talent guitar playing srcond to none. His live performance did not disappoint he and what we found out, his wife and two brithers were the other band members. Do not change a thing it was an excellent performance even with the rain.

Chris is an immensely talented singer, writer and musician. What he is not: is a performer.

He probably didn't move more that 24" all night. If he was wearing a Fitbit, he probably only had 12 steps and those were accumulated going on and coming off stage.

Red Rocks is a near-perfect setting for a show and the weather was amazing, but for $90/ ticket I'd like something more than I could experience just listening to his music in my car.

It was a fantastic show! Chris was on fire! The opening act was Kendall Marvel and then Brothers Osborne! Everyone was great! Brothers Osborne are truly bad to the bone! Then Mickey Raphael shows up with Chris! Mickey is a living legend! Best concert I’ve seen! So glad that I was able to attend! Chris is probably one of the most talented guys I have ever had the privilege of hearing! It was worth every penny!

That was 1 of the best "mellow" concerts I've ever seen. His voice is enough to send chills - truly amazing! From his shock at the crowds excitement to his humble gratitude I can truly say that I will definitely be going to another Chris Stapleton show. The best was his introduction of his band- the words/lyrics were so personal and funny and actually had us all wanting more!

Loved the show. I knew appreciated your voice and songwriting, but I was also wowed by your ability to play the guitar. My only disappintment was my favorite tune, What are You Listening To, did not make the show. I know it is impossible to cover everything, but I wanted you to know, women love that song. Thank you for a wonderful show. Hope to see you again soon!

ccarter7’s profile image

It was amazing. His voice is soothing to my soul and such a treat for your ears. His prebands, Brothers Osborne and Kendell Marvel were so good, too. They had great voices and all 3 were so amazing on their instruments. I love when bands kill it on their guitars, drums, and pianos and you can not get much better than what we saw. Loved every bit of the bands.

Chris Stapleton will buttress his upcoming stadium tour with George Strait with his own All American Road Show , a series of guest-filled headlining gigs that began in April and will now run through August 2024 with the addition of dozens of additional dates.

Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Willie Nelson and Family, Grace Potter, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart, Turnpike Troubadours, The War and Treaty and Lainey Wilson are among the acts that will join Stapleton at certain stops along the All-American Road Show.

The Road Show itself kicked off April 26 in El Paso, Texas, with Stapleton sandwiching in gigs between Strait shows and music festival appearances like Stagecoach and Rock the South. The trek kept Stapleton on the road all summer, with the All American Road Show initially scheduled to conclude on Aug. 25 in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Check out Stapleton’s site for ticket information .

Stapleton, who performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII earlier this year, has also booked a spot at Willie Nelson’s upcoming 90th birthday bash .

Chris Stapleton will take his “All-American Road Show” across the pond next fall for a series of headlining arena shows in the U.K. and Ireland, including stops at Manchester’s AO Arena, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena, Dublin’s 3Arena, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, and London’s The O2.

Tickets for the shows, which will feature special guest Marty Stuart, will be available for pre-sale starting this Wednesday, September 27 at 10:00am local time with general on-sale following this Friday, September 29 at 10:00am local time.

The newly confirmed dates add to an already extensive tour schedule for Stapleton, who will continue his “All-American Road Show” through this fall and will join George Strait for several stadium shows next year.

Twanging Tradition: Oklahoman ‘Country Bumpkin’ Cal Smith

‘half a man’: only half a hit, but still an early willie nelson landmark.

The upcoming performances celebrate Stapleton’s highly anticipated new album, Higher , which will be released November 10 on Mercury Nashville. Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Stapleton himself, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A and showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility across 14 songs that defy genre.

Already receiving critical attention, Stapleton has unveiled two album tracks: “Think I’m In Love With You” and “White Horse,” of which Billboard praised as, “a hell-raising anthem, meant to be blared with windows down and enjoyed with ears ringing. ‘White Horse’ finds Stapleton pairing an outlaw swagger with some heaven-scraping vocals, going for the gusto throughout the chorus to try and match the guitar snarl.”

Additionally, Consequence declared, “‘White Horse’ certainly suggests that Stapleton is leaning into his strengths as a cross-genre act.”

The new music adds to yet another landmark year for the 8x Grammy, 15x ACM and 15x CMA Award-winner, who is nominated for three more awards at this year’s 57th Annual CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year (“We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Carly Pearce).

Christopher Alvin Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer who was born in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1978. He grew up in Staffordsville, Kentucky, and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2001 to pursue an engineering degree from Vanderbilt University but dropped out to pursue his career in music. Stapleton signed a contract with Sea Gayle Music to write and publish his music and has since written and co-written over 170 songs. He has co-written six number-one country songs for artists such as Kenny Chesney, Josh Turner, George Strait, and Luke Bryan. Stapleton's songs have appeared on many artists' albums including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Taylor Swift. He has co-written with several artists as well including Vince Gill, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow, and Ed Sheeran. As a vocalist, Stapleton sang lead in two bands before he started recording as a solo artist including a bluegrass ensemble called the SteelDrivers from 2008 to 2010 and the Jompson Brothers. After that, he released his solo debut studio album titled Traveller in 2015, which reached number one on the US Billboard 200 and was certified four-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His version of "Tennessee Whiskey" was certified Diamond by the RIAA. His second studio album From a Room: Volume 1 was released in May 2017 and earned him a second CMA Award for Album of the Year and also a Grammy Award for Best Country Album. From a Room: Volume 2 was released in December 2017. Stapleton released his fourth studio album Starting Over in 2020, for which he won his third Grammy for Best Country Album. The title track was issued as its lead single. Stapleton has been recognized with several awards including eight Grammy Awards, 10 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, and 14 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. He was named the ACM's Artist-Songwriter of the Decade. In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked Stapleton at number 170 on its list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show wows the Twin Cities yet again

Chris Stapleton performed at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Most musicians try their best to avoid complete silence during their performances. Chris Stapleton isn’t like most musicians. Saturday’s sold-out U.S. Bank Stadium show included several extended moments of absolute quiet between songs – save the occasional “woo” from the crowd. You’d think that these pauses would immediately grind the show's momentum to a halt. Instead, they built up anticipation. Which crowd-pleasing hit would he pull out next? When a few sudden notes or chords revealed the answer, the stadium shook with cheers.

Saturday’s show marked the fourth time Stapleton’s All-American Road Show tour swept the Twin Cities by soulful storm. The lengthy tour began in May of 2017 and is scheduled to continue through the end of this year. Stapleton has released four albums and won countless awards since the tour’s first show. He has also brought nearly two dozen artists along for the ride, including Saturday’s openers Marcus King and Lainey Wilson.

Marcus King, the night’s first opener, blends soul, blues, and southern rock into a unique sound all his own. As a fourth-generation musician and son of a well-respected blues guitarist, King has natural talent coursing through his veins. His pained, rough-hewn voice carries with it every dark moment of his life, and his sorrowful, bluesy guitar licks would surely make Stevie Ray Vaughan proud. The wildly talented Marcus King Band features a horn section, drummer, guitarist, bassist, and piano player. King and Co’s. live performances are nothing short of spectacular.

Marcus King performs on stage-02

Unfortunately, through no fault of King or his band, the mix for Saturday’s performance fell very short of spectacular. Like many opening acts before him, King fell victim to the U.S. Bank Stadium opener’s curse. With the crowd still arriving, King’s full-bodied blues licks and vibrato-soaked voice bounced off thousands of empty plastic seats, which made most of his set unintelligible. The extended bluesy jam sessions clashed into one chaotic wall of sound, and his banter was even more difficult to understand. If you have the chance to witness King’s immense talent and showmanship in a smaller venue, take it.

Thankfully, more seats were filled in when Lainey Wilson took the stage. While the sound still wasn’t ideal, it was a vast improvement. Back in November, Wilson beat out Stapleton to win the coveted Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award. By a few minutes into her set, it was clear why. Her affable and personable demeanor made the massive stadium feel more intimate, but her charisma and exceptional vocal talent deserved U.S. Bank’s scale. She made full use of the stage, constantly running from end to end while wearing a sly smile the whole show.

Lainey Wilson performs at U.S. Bank Stadium

Nearly all the songs in Wilson’s 45-minute set were from her critically acclaimed, Grammy-winning 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country. She balanced fan favorites like "Watermelon Moonshine," "Heart Like a Truck," and "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" with musical interludes of Johnny Cash's "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky," Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine," and the Rolling Stones' "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" mixed in. Wilson’s voice was flawless, and her no-frills band of a drummer, guitarist, guitarist/pianist, and bassist was tight, with each member getting their moments to shine.

As Chris Stapleton’s set time drew near, the place was packed. He wasted no time taking to the stage and immediately launched into a song co-written with Semisonic’s Dan Wilson – “White Horse,” the lead single off of 2023’s Higher . Stapleton and his band sounded great, and most issues with the mix were gone. Next, they kept the momentum going with “Parachute” and “Second to Know” before Stapleton addressed the crowd.

Chris Stapleton performs at U.S. Bank Stadium

“Hello, Minneapolis,” he said. “There’s a whole bunch of you here tonight. Thanks for showing up for us. Those of you that’ve been with us before know that I’m not going to do a lot of talkin’. We’re gonna play as much music as we can in the time that we have.”

True to his word, Stapleton spoke sparingly for the rest of his two-hour set. Instead, he packed that time with 21 more songs, each more emotionally devastating than the last. Stapleton’s lived-in lyrics sung through his anguished, whiskey-soaked tenor left many fans misty-eyed at times, full-on sobbing at others, and tipsily dancing throughout. I heard a concessions worker say that the entire stadium was out of Coors Light — if that’s any indication of how much fun people were having.

Stapleton’s soulful voice really needs to be experienced live to feel its full effect. There’s an added vulnerability in person. His emotional vocal runs bring extra depth to his already oft-tragic lyrics. When he roared about “Hard Livin,’” you could almost taste hard liquor. “Whiskey and You,” left us hanging on every heartbreaking syllable. “Cold” brought out the heaviness of a relationship stalling out. Stapleton’s voice was rarely alone, though. Nearly every song featured thousands of voices from the crowd, adding their struggles to his.

About midway through his set, Stapleton “fired the band” and played a few songs by himself with just an acoustic guitar. Before “What Are You Listening To?” he fondly recalled it being the first song he ever had on the radio. (“It shot all the way up to number 46!”) “Mountains of My Mind” and “Whiskey and You” completed his acoustic set before the band returned for “Arkansas.” As soon as Stapleton played the first few notes, the crowd raucously came back to life.

Stapleton has covered many songs, making each one his own in the process. Saturday’s set included Kevin Welch’s “Millionaire” and Guy Clark’s “Worry B Gone” Of course, there was David Allan Coe’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” one of Stapleton’s biggest hits of his career. His vocal runs in those grandiose five minutes alone could win a marathon.

“Tennessee Whiskey” also served as Stapleton’s victory lap for the night. During an extended intro, he thanked everyone for being there, and introduced the band: JT Cure on bass, Derek Mixon on drums, Paul Franklin on pedal steel, Mike Eli LoPinto on guitar, Lee Pardini on keys, and Mickey Raphael on harmonica. Stapleton noted that Raphael has been Willie Nelson’s harmonica player for 51 years. These few minutes were the most talking he did all night, and he wasn’t actually talking. Instead, he sang the band introductions along with the song's melody, keeping his promise to keep the music going with all the time that he had.

Taking the All-American Road Show down under.

Chris Stapleton  just announced that his All-American Road Show tour is heading to Australia and New Zealand next year.

The run is already slated for a slew of American dates this year with a stacked group of openers, including Turnpike Troubadours, Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Willie Nelson and Family, Grace Potter, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart, and more.

Joining Stapleton down under is the very talented Marcus King, and they’ll be making stops in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland at the end of February and beginning of March in 2025.

Stapleton released his incredible Higher album last year, so I’m sure fans will be looking forward to hearing those songs live in person, and potentially even some new stuff by the time next year rolls around.

Concert review: Chris Stapleton keeps the focus on his songs at U.S. Bank Stadium

I n the concert business, a big venue usually means a big show. That’s not the case, however, for unlikely country star Chris Stapleton, who filled U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Saturday night.

As usual, the 45-year-old Kentucky native offered up two rocking hours with few frills. Stapleton doesn’t dance, sprint around the stage or indulge in fancy light shows and pyro. He doesn’t even chat much with the audience. “There’s a whole bunch of you here tonight,” he said after “Second One to Know,” the third song of the evening. “Those of you who’ve seen me know I’m not going to do a whole lot of talking.”

Really, beyond the addition of some stadium-sized screens, Saturday’s concert felt a lot like Stapleton’s Xcel Energy Center gig in October 2022. Stapleton kept the crowd focused on his killer songs, which lean heavily into ’70s-style Southern rock and rootsy Americana. Indeed, it’s Stapleton’s skillful songwriting that has brought him to the place where he can sell out football stadiums.

The set list largely mirrored the one he played at the X and, for that matter, the one he played at his USBS debut in November 2021 when he opened for George Strait, another country star known for prioritizing songs over spectacle. The main difference was the addition of four songs from his most recent album, “Higher.” That included the show-opening “White Horse,” which had a vague whiff of Tom Petty to it and also earned Stapleton the two most recent of his 10 Grammy wins. (Unfortunately, Stapleton skipped “I Was Wrong,” one of the finest moments from his show at the X.)

Stapleton also did another three-song acoustic set that opened with his 2013 debut single “What Are You Listening To” (which he dryly noted made it all the way to No. 46) and closed with “Whiskey and You” (a song he wrote for Tim McGraw back in 2007). A new one, “Mountains of My Mind,” took the place of “Traveller” from 2022. Playing three slow, quiet numbers for a packed stadium was a risk and Stapleton himself thanked the crowd for actually listening. (They did, for the most part, with some pockets of noisy chattering here and there.)

Given that he’s known for his songwriting, it’s kind of funny Stapleton’s biggest hit is a cover, “Tennessee Whiskey,” a 1981 song written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove and originally recorded by David Allan Coe. He closed the main set with a gorgeous take on it. He also thrilled with a run of songs in his second hour that included “You Should Probably Leave,” “Nobody to Blame,” “Cold” and “Midnight Train to Memphis,” a song he wrote for his first band, the bluegrass group the SteelDrivers.

While it’s fantastic that Stapleton has built such a large following, it’s unfortunate that meant he had to play a football stadium that’s notorious for its poor sound. The farther you get from the stage, the worse it gets. It kind of defeats the purpose of seeing a songwriter perform live when you can’t make out the words he’s singing.

For the first time, award-winning artist Chris Stapleton is heading Downunder to tour Australia and New Zealand.

Stapleton is bringing “Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show Goes Down Under” to Auckland in 2025, following a string of shows in Australia.

The tour will kick off on Tuesday, February 25 next year at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, before heading to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 28 and Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on March 4. Stapleton will then bring his tour to New Zealand for just one night, with the artist set to play at Spark Arena in Auckland on Friday, March 7.

The Kentucky native has 10 Grammys, 15 Country Music Association awards and 10 Academy of Country Music awards under his belt. Most recently, he took home two Grammys this year: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, both for his number-one song White Horse .

He also counts the ACM Triple Crown Award among his many accolades, and was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year for the seventh time at the 57th CMA awards, breaking his own record.

Even if you’re not a country music fan, you’ll recognise him from his countless collaborations with some of the biggest names in music over the years, from Adele to Ed Sheeran to Taylor Swift, Pink, Justin Timberlake and Santana. He also performed the US national anthem at the Super Bowl in 2023.

A special guest and Grammy nominee, the blues rocker Marcus King, will join Stapleton for all the show dates.

Stapleton is an inspiration for countless artists working today, from Luke Combs to Teddy Swims — and with Kiwi audiences embracing country music more than ever in recent years, he can be sure of a warm welcome on stage in New Zealand.

Songs from Stapleton's fifth studio album are sure to feature in his Auckland show next year.

Chris Stapleton announces first Australian tour

By Kath Devaney

Chris Stapleton is one of the most beloved artists on the planet today, selling out arenas across the US and Europe, building his loyal fanbase that spans from grandkids to grandparents.

Stapleton's mesmerising soul-fused hoarse vocal harks back to blues and roots music of the deep south, with the Grammy winning artist seemingly overcoming his fear of flying to trek to Australian and New Zealand for his first tour.

The Kentucky-born artist is an 10-time Grammy, 15-time CMA and 10-time ACM Award-winner and one of the United States' most respected and beloved musicians.

In the midst of yet another triumphant year, Stapleton recently won two awards at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards : Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song (both for his #1 song, 'White Horse').

He was also named Entertainer of the Year at last year's ACM Awards — resulting in a prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award — and was named Male Vocalist of the Year for the seventh time at the CMA Awards this past fall, breaking his own record for most wins ever in the category.

Additionally, he performed the National Anthem at 2023's Super Bowl LVII and has collaborated in recent years with Adele, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Sheryl Crow, Santana and many more.

'White Horse' is from Stapleton’s acclaimed fifth studio album, Higher . Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Stapleton, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A. Across its 14 songs, Stapleton showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility with songs that span genres and defy easy categorisation.

Alongside Stapleton (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, slide electric guitar), the album features Cobb (acoustic guitar, eclectic guitar), J.T. Cure (bass), Paul Franklin (pedal steel), Derek Mixon (drums), Morgane (background vocals, synthesizer, tambourine), and Lee Pardini (organ, piano).

There's no doubt that tickets to these stadium shows, where Stapleton will be joined by soulful Americana young gun Marcus King , will be the hottest in town.

Catch the playing the following shows. Tickets are on sale from 11am Friday 12 April.
