Enjoyed a wonderful day at Anfield with my Dad and son (bought as a Xmas gift). Our welcome was a warm one - greeted by various smiling faces from the off and a free hot drink before our tour commenced with our guides Lenny and Alan, who were both informative, attentive and witty. Ex-pros Jimmy Case and Alan Kennedy popped by for a photo op before an extremely tasty and immaculately presented lunch was served. The entertaining Case and Kennedy then signed a long queue of memorabilia before engaging the audience with their stories and guidance for the younger listeners. Both legends were extremely down-to-Earth and saw of the audience like they were family. We visited the museum before leaving and the staff here were equally warm and we were looked after during a photo-op with replica of No.5. The museum tour can be taken with a audio device giving a wealth of info or just enjoyed as read. The only negative was the tour was understandably restricted by the ongoing work to the Main stand- meaning no photo op in the changing room / dug out or tunnel but this was a minor in an otherwise wonderful day. Thanks to all at Anfield.
I truly recommend to everyone this package you will not be disappointed. Bought the tour as a gift for my boyfriend who is a massive LFC fan. What a day it was to remember. Arrived at 8.30am to be shown to the VIP boxes for breakfast, followed by a tour of the stadium. The tour guides Mick and Kate were fantastic, very informative and game for a laugh. Then we had a lovely 3 course meal and a drink followed by a Q&A with Ian Callaghan MBE. Considering I didn't know anything about him after he finished I felt like I had know him for ages. A genuine down to earth gentleman. we then took ourselves around the museum and the boot room and shop and all the while my boyfriend could not stop smiling. We left Anfield at 4pm a perfect full on day!. Nothing was a problem for the staff they were very helpful and made this whole experience. We even had an added bonus of seeing the 1st team squad get off their coach for a training session at the ground before the trip to Wembley. But this was only by chance as we only popped out for a little bit of air! This I feel topped off the experience. Im not an LFC fan myself but now they definitely have a space in my heart and as for my boyfriend I think I have won the best girlfriend trophy, I don't know how I am going to top it next year!
Thoroughly enjoyable tour. Took our grandson for his 10th birthday. Living in Exeter he never thought he would see the stadium. He so enjoyed it even sitting on the bench beneath Steven Gerrards peg and shirt. Thanks to all at LFC and well done.
what a great day, from the guy on the gate when we parked, and all of the people showed us around and served us a first class 3 course meal, we could not have been treated any better, phil Neal and dave Johnson , where very welcoming and easy to talk to, also very entertaining with some great memories, this is a must for die hard red fans, you will not be disappointed one to remember
Bought the tour as a gift for my husband. What a perfect day it was. Many thanks to the hard working staff who made this a day to remember.

Liverpool has confirmed another pre-season friendly fixture in the USA this summer, with the Reds set to take on the Spanish outfit Real Betis in Pittsburgh. Under a new manager who will take over from Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool is set to head to the US for the first time in five years.

The US trip, which already included matches against Manchester United and Arsenal, was confirmed in February. The last time that Liverpool headed Stateside was the summer of 2019, just after the Reds had become European champions for the sixth time. Since then, a combination of Covid and then commercial opportunities in Asia have meant that they have not gone back until now.

In 2019, Liverpool played against Borussia Dortmund , Sevilla and Sporting CP in New York, Boston and Indiana. The Reds played on the west coast of the US during Klopp's first summer in charge back in 2016 with friendly fixtures against Chelsea , AC Milan and AS Roma.

This time, Liverpool was already confirmed to be playing Arsenal on Wednesday, July 31 in Philadelphia and then Manchester United in South Carolina on Saturday, August 3, meaning the Reds are staying on the east coast of the US. Now, the extra game has been penciled in for Friday, July 26.

The match against Real Betis will be staged at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. The new manager will also be able to use the time in the US to continue preparations for the new season on the training field.

"Adding Pittsburgh to our pre-season tour schedule is a great way to start our eagerly anticipated return to the USA," Ben Latty, the club's commercial director, said, via the official website . "We were delighted to quickly sell out our fixtures against Arsenal and Manchester United on this tour and are equally excited to be able to offer our supporters in the States another opportunity to see Liverpool FC play. Real Betis will come with a strong squad and it's going to be a great occasion in another iconic setting, in another fantastic US city."

"We are proud to announce our highly anticipated return to the USA providing a great environment for the squad to prepare for the season ahead," Latty said via the club's official website in February. "Pre-season tours always present exceptional opportunities for our supporters, the team and our official partners to engage in memorable experiences within a key focus market for the club."

The 2024/25 season in the Premier League will kick off on the weekend of August 17 and 18. The fixture list is usually published a few weeks after the prior campaign has come to a close. Liverpool will hope to begin life under a new head coach as league champion, with the Reds currently level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table with seven matches left to play.

Liverpool.com says: A return to the US will be big news for fans in America after so long without the chance to see the Reds on home soil. It will be a very different summer for Liverpool, of course, without Klopp in charge. There is also the impact of the European Championship in Germany to consider.

That tournament takes place from mid-June to mid-July so there is a good chance that a number of players involved in that will not be traveling to the US. They might need an extended break in what looks set to be another packed close season in which the majority of stars get very little in the way of a proper rest.

Liverpool add extra date to 2024 preseason US Tour

Liverpool have another date circled in their preseason. The club announced a friendly against LaLiga side Betis as part of a mini-tour of the United States this summer. The Reds return to the US for the first time in five years, with the aim of preparing the squad for the new season - one which they will head into with a new manager at the helm.

The Reds kickstart their US tour against Betis at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Friday 26 July with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT / 4:30 p.m. PDT.

Betis CEO Ramón Alarcón , said, “There’ no doubt this is a particularly exciting game for us for several reasons . Firstly, because it will give us the chance to gauge our level against one of the top teams in the world but also because playing Liverpool brings back so many memories of our debut in the Champions League and the great atmosphere we encountered both at the Benito Villamarín and Anfield. We are clubs with similar values and both boast a large fanbase - supporters who feel passionately about their teams . It’s wonderful that we will be meeting again in Pittsburgh”.

1982: Mission in Marbella

This will be Liverpool’s fourth encounter with the Seville-based outfit. The two teams first came face to face in the semi-final of the IV Trofeo Ciudad de Marbella on 14 August 1982. Wearing their iconic Crown Paints kit, Liverpool beat the Verdiblancos 0-2 at Estadio Municipal de Marbella with goals from Kenny Dalglish and David Hodgson . Málaga would later deny Paisley’s team the trophy, winning the shootout 4-2 after the final ended 1-1 (Fer Rodríguez ‘7 and Alan Kennedy ‘67).

Liverpool and Betis were drawn together in the 2005/6 Champions League group stage with the Spanish club handed a baptism of fire by meeting the champions in matchday 1 in the tournament debut. Pongolle lobbed Antonio Doblas to put the visitors ahead on two minutes and Luis García added another 10 minutes later. Arzu pulled one back for the hosts after the break as it ended 1-2. The return fixture at Anfield on matchday 5 failed to produce any goals with Crouch and Morientes fluffing a handful of chances.

Liverpool FC US tour dates 2024

  • 26 July Liverpool vs Betis Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh
  • 31 July Liverpool vs  Arsenal Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
  • 3 August Liverpool vs Manchester United Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, South Carolina

Details of Liverpool’s 2024 US tour

Getting back to this summer’s tour dates, after meeting Betis , Liverpool have two games in the Rivals in Red 2024 USA tour . First up are Arsenal at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Wednesday 31 July which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EDT / 4:30 p.m. PDT. That is followed by a clash against Manchester United at the 77,559-seater Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday 3 August. Tickets for both of those games sold out a while ago.

Whoever ends up taking over from Klopp will have a number of players out on duty at either Euro 2024 (14 June-14 July) or the Copa América (20 June-14 July) so the likes of Alisson Becker, Mac Allister, Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz, Andy Robertson, Konaté, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk and Cody Gakpo etc. could be reporting back for duty after the US tour dates.

Tickets for the Betis game will go on general sale from Thursday 11 April from 9 a.m. EDT/ 6 a.m. PDT through Ticketmaster .

Jürgen Klopp will have gone but the show goes on and Liverpool’s summer starts to take shape.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
