Each table had a red rose, sparkly hearts and each of us had a gift of a shortbread heart (made by chef Jo) and a roll of love hearts in a cellophane bag! Truly amazing experiences from the 3 day tours we booked with him for various parts of the island. From Spice farm to dolphin watching and snorkelling. We got picked up from our hotel, all transport and food included. The times picked were quieter and locations were unique and we were able to enjoy these moments. Zanzibar is such an amazing country, we are looking to go back after having the perfect honeymoon there. Khamis will give you an experience you’ll never forget. Read more Written December 31, 2023

  • Mary-RoseO 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Great day with the best tour guide Abdul! Great experience! We booked through trip advisor as we wanted everything in one package. After booking, the company contacted us to confirm our details and where we were staying so they could pick us up. The driver was there at the time they advised. Our guide was called Abdul who may I say was the best guide I have ever had. He was really informative and knew his history about the whole of Zanzibar and Tanzania. We started off at the aquarium which was beautiful. Abdul was our personal photographer who caught some amazing moments. After we headed to Stone Town to get the boat over to Prison Island. The boat took approximately 20-30 minutes but went quick as Abdul was telling us more about the history of the country and also about Prison Island and why it was built. We arrived at Prison Island and we made our way around capturing the historic views. You will also find the oldest turtle on the island which is 109 years old. After here we went to Stone Town and did the tour. Half way through the tour we stopped at the Secret Garden restaurant for lunch. Lunch is not included so please make sure you take money for it. You can pay with cash or card. As we had lunch quite late in the day we decided to skip dinner (again this is not included so bring money) and continued the rest of the tour. The day was brilliant and I would recommend you book with these guys. Read more Written October 21, 2023

Taken to a different operator JJ... Waited for an hour to be told waiting for other members of group (Wh had booked 5 Hour private trip). Trip told that Original operator had overbooked. They provided us trip on boat to see dolphins and Lunch OK. We started Bikes at 1:00pm but one of our trip crashed after a short while with seeming steering problems. She was shaken but unhurt. Operator offered to take her back to Hotel and rest of us continued about 2:00pm. Shorter trip that finished at 6:00pm (4 hours). We then learnt that our Party member had been taken quiet road and threatened with Police action if she did nto pay 500USD to bribe police with & pay for repair even though vehicle seemed faulty. Feeling very frightened she paid 300USD and was taken back to hotel. We reported to Viator and they have been most supportive nut we only received back 370 USD. • VALerieE888 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Disappointing experience in Zanzibar It was our 30th wedding anniversary and I informed the hotel of this when I booked our room - a double beach front room. When we arrived, the greeting was excellent but our room was very disappointing, Number 9 was sandwiched between two 'honeymoon' suites and was very inferior. The mosquito nets had holes in them, there was. no 'woven wardrobe' as stated in the description, just a rail with a few shelves. there was no plug in the wash hand basin and the bathroom surfaces were stained and cracked. It did not resemble the photos on the website at all. I cannot fault the staff or the location of the hotel. The food was good and the beach lovely. The Masai on the beach were a continual presence but sometimes you felt that you couldn't just walk on the beach without being pestered. Read more Written October 24, 2022
  • ichbin08 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Amazing Zanzibar experience We have a great time in Zanzibar visiting Stone Town, Jozani forest and the Rock restaurant. Everything was possible with the help of our amazing driver/guide (Mr Ali +255 777 860 828). Mr Ali explained the history of places, took us to buy spices from a organic store in Stone Town, helped us with negotiating a fair price, introduced us to the beautiful town with his charming fruits, meat and fish market. He also arranged for a private tour for us in Jozani forest and took amazing pictures of us at the Rock restaurant. The journey was amazing, the car was spotless clean with air-conditioning and free WiFi. We learned about the real life in Zanzibar, eat at a locum restaurant locally sourced food. We had the opportunity to meet children from the villages. I cannot praise enough Mr Ali for our excellent experience. A kind, patient and knowledgeable gentleman that made our journey from ordinary to extraordinary. We strongly recommend him to anyone that want to know the beauty of Zanzibar. • TheNaughtyPassport 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Awesome Experience! Was picked up from our resort promptly. We arrived at the location and met Babu, the guide and he was awesome. We rode through villages, mud, and even through stone town and nungwi. We also stopped at a couple beaches and we tried some local sweets. During the entire drive Babu stopped multiple times and gave us some history facts about the villages such as the type of homes, taxes, schools, farming techniques, etc. he was extremely knowledgeable and his English and vocabulary was top tier (which you don’t find much in Tanzania because the primary language is Swahili). We needed the day riding through stone town around dusk dark which was fun to see all the lights and action. Our tour actually needed up being about 4.5 hours which we loved! Overall a beautiful experience. Only callout is be prepared for the buggies. They’re a bit small and kind of uncomfortable but once you get accustomed to driving/riding, you’ll forget about that.
