Laskarina Travel
Laskarina was the company that started our love of Greece and its Islands, when we booked a simple villa through them. It was on Halki near Rhodes, delightfully off the beaten track and well away from the tourist trail. It is sad that the great WWW was the main reason for their demise.
If you have any memories of the company or your first visit to Greece I would love to read them and add them to this site.
Want Ideas? How about:
- Where you went
- How off the beaten track it was
- Unusual sights
- Your first visit to Greece
Don't worry about style, just bash in the words and I will convert it to a web page on this site.
Over To You?
- Have you visited Greece with Laskarina? - What do you remember about it? - Have you found any similar 'Off the Beaten Track' companies? I, and others, would love to read all about. You can also send pictures to illustrate you story. If you have more than one picture, then they will appear as thumbnails linked to a bigger version. Thanks in advance for sharing it.

Nissia Holidays is a family-run, independent holiday company specialising in the quieter side of Greece. We offer villas, apartments and hotels in Halki, Tilos, and the unspoilt Greek islands.
Part of the Dodecanese archipelago, Halki and Tilos nestle in the south-eastern corner of the Aegean, close to the island of Rhodes. These beautiful islands are famed for their local hospitality, which is as warm as the Greek sunshine. With an idyllic climate, a scattering of sleepy villages where time seems to have stood still, and beautiful beaches lapped by azure waters, they offer a pace of life that defies the 21st century.
Nissia Holidays Ltd. is registered in England and Wales, company No. 05979851, and was formed in October 2006 to offer a new approach to holidays on the idyllic and unspoilt small Greek island of Halki.
We have over thirty years combined experience of Halki and the surrounding islands and in recent years had been the representatives of Laskarina Holidays in the region. Following Laskarina’s decision to withdraw from the market at the end of the 2006 season, Nissia Holidays was created to respond to the demand from regular & newly-enchanted visitors to the island for the unique holidays on offer on Halki to be available for the 2007 season and beyond.
For the start of the 2010 season Nissia Holidays expanded to take over the operations of Little Island Holidays on Tilos.
Meni has been living & working on near-by Rhodes for over a quarter of a century, all of that time in the holiday & leisure industry, and during that time she has built up valuable relationships with all of the companies & individuals needed to ensure that Nissia Holidays can rely on unparalleled local support to deliver the most stress & problem free holidays on Halki and Tilos. Whether that’s dealing with airport officials, transfer companies, boat captains or just about anyone else involved in making sure you’re holiday has all it needs and more then Meni always knows the right person to ask to make things happen.
As a Greek-Australian she is also fiercely proud of her Hellenic roots so above all else she is determined that every visitor to the islands is able to enjoy the unspoilt and picturesque island to its full potential and then spread the word when the holiday is over for another year.
Triantafyllos, or Daffy as most guests like to call him, comes from a strong hospitality background. Working alongside Meni from a young age and helping with operations for Laskarina Holidays, he is service minded and always happy to help the guests have an amazing and relaxing holiday in Halki and Tilos. He holds a BSc in Computer Sciences from Liverpool John Moores university and has various qualifications from the travel industry.
In 2015 he became the reservations manager for Nissia Holidays.
Our passionate Tilos representative, Ian is friendly and always eager to assist our guests for Tilos. You will find him at Rhodes airport on Wednesdays and then on his beloved island of Tilos taking good care of our Tilos guests or assisting the boats to dock down at the harbour!
Steve started working with Nissia in 2017, striking up an instant rapport with Meni, Daffy and Blendi. Having had his own businesses and working in a corporate environment, he likes to see things from a customer perspective and he was indeed a Nissia client before becoming a Halki resident. He is passionate about customer service and loves Halki. He is a welcome addition to the team, where locally Blendi and he are known as Black and Decker!
George is the newest member of our team and he has already become a vital part of our reservations team. In love with our unspoilt islands, he has gained previous experience in the hospitality industry, working in the travel technology industry and customer support, he's ready to assist our guests to find the best possible options for their holidays.

12 Things to Do in Kazan, the Magical Capital of Tatarstan
After Moscow and Saint Petersburg , Kazan is arguably Russia ’s nicest big city and its most multicultural one. The capital of historical Tatarstan is home to the country’s only Kremlin with a mosque inside. Included in Unesco’s World Heritage Sites list, it is quite unique. However, there are plenty of other things to see and do in Kazan. The place to be is Bauman Street, the pedestrian street lined with neoclassical buildings and churches, cool cafés, and lots of street performers. Another pedestrian street is Kayuma Nasyri, with loads of colorful wooden houses and old mosques.

Things to Do in Kazan
Explore the kazan kremlin.
One of the most important things to do in Kazan is visiting its grand Kremlin . Ivan the Terrible built the medieval citadel to replace the ruins of the former residence of Kazan Khans. This monumental fortress is close to the confluence of the Kazanka and Volga Rivers. Hence, the views are outstanding and sunsets unforgettable. The Kremlin is home to the Governor’s Palace, several museums, towers, churches, and a mosque. The lavish Kul Sharif Mosque is from a recent date. It stands on the place of an old mosque destroyed by Ivan the Terrible. The Kremlin’s oldest structure is the Annunciation Cathedral from the 16th century. However, its most famous landmark is the Söyembikä Tower , whose origin is unclear. It owes its name to the Kazan queen Söyembikä, who threw herself to her death from the tower.
People Watch on Bauman Street
Kazan’s main drag Bauman is a 1,3-kilometer long pedestrian street in the city center. It bears the name of Nikolay Bauman, a local revolutionary hero. This lively street is where everything happens. Restaurants, bars, shops, churches, and museums line the street. The street begins at the Kremlin and goes all the way to Pushkin Street. Nevertheless, the pedestrian area doesn’t end there. It continues, albeit with a different name: Peterburgskaya Street. At the beginning of the street, close to the Kremlin, you’ll find the late 17th-century Cathedral of Saint Nicholas . Closer to the end, you will see the Epiphany Church with its red bell tower. Take your time, and be sure to notice the little stars on the floor dedicated to Tatar celebrities!
Soak Up History on Kayuma Nasyri Street
Another pedestrian street well worth spending time at is the historical Kayuma Nasyri . Unlike Bauman Street, there aren’t many shops or commerce of any type. Instead, you’ll find several mosques and some of the most colorful wooden houses in Russia. Kayuma Nasyri is the best-preserved aristocratic street in the Old Tatar Settlement, one of Kazan’s oldest neighborhoods. Noble Tatar families, rich merchants, and representatives of the higher clergy owned the 19th-century houses that line the street. The highlight of the street is the beautiful Märcani Mosque . It marked the beginning of a multi-faith religious tolerant society in Russia, proclaimed by Empress Catherine II at the end of the 18th century. It is the oldest mosque in Kazan and all of Tatarstan, but also one of the biggest.
Visit Kazan’s Most Important Church
The Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral is Kazan’s most distinguished church and one of its spiritual symbols. Upon arrival, you will immediately notice its unique colorful decoration. The church belongs to the so-called Russian baroque, a style that dominated the late 17th and early 18th centuries in Russia. Though it’s unclear who built the church, its resemblance to the early 18th century churches from Ukraine is quite evident. The church impressed many Russian emperors, including no other than Catherine II. Not only that, but three famous Alexanders also visited and wrote about it: Pushkin, Von Humboldt, and Dumas.
Bike Along Rivers and Lakes
Biking is, without a doubt, one of the most fun and relaxing things to do in Kazan! The mighty Volga and the Kazanka Rivers surround the city. Additionally, several canals and the Kaban Lakes cross it in the middle. We biked along the rivers on a newly built promenade enjoying the views, and through a bizarre new luxurious neighborhood. Then we went to the National Cultural Center Kazan and turned on Pushik Street to see the Opera House. From there, we biked all the way to the Kaban Lakes . We went back to the bike rental shop along the Bulak Canal . The shop is right under the Kremlin, between the Kazanka River and Baturina Street. Don’t forget to bring your passport or any other valid ID.
Admire Soviet Brutalist Architecture
Just like all other big Russian cities, a variety of brutalist buildings from the Soviet Period dots Kazan. A bunch of large soviet residential blocks lies on the eastern outskirts of the city. Another massive soviet neighborhood is north of the center, across the Kazanka River. You can see that one from the top of the Kremlin. Among the many interesting buildings, our favorite was the abovementioned National Cultural Center Kazan . Built in 1991, it is one of the most active museums in Kazan. You’ll recognize the building for its simple red tuff façade and the tall obelisk named Freedom.
Discover Kazan’s New Kitchy Architecture
One of the things that caught our eyes when we were in Kazan’s Kremlin is the plethora of new interesting buildings. Once we got closer, we realized how unusual they are, with weird decorative elements and materials. The one building that we noticed immediately is the so-called Agricultural Palace , which is the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazan. You’ll easily recognize this lavishly decorated building by its 20-meter high bronze tree. Critics say it combines everything from the baroque to the renaissance, but tourists love it! Another building that we loved for its bold kitschy appearance is the Tatar State Puppet Theater . Its castle-like structure seems to come from a Russian fairy tale.
Visit the Temple of all Religions
One of the most interesting things to do in Kazan is to go on an excursion to the Temple of all Religions . This colorful temple is on the outskirts of the city. Consequently, you will have to take a public bus, hire a private taxi, or book an organized excursion. We are not talking about a religious building, but rather a cultural center. Its architecture incorporates an orthodox church, a mosque, and a synagogue. Though it is still under construction, it will eventually have 16 domes, representing the 16 major religions in the world. According to its authors, the Khanov Brothers, it’s a temple of culture and truth.
Learn About Tatarstan and Russia at a Museum
Kazan has several interesting museums. If you didn’t have time to visit the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, you are lucky. The Kazan’s Hermitage exhibits some of its pieces. Apart from temporary exhibitions, the Hermitage displays European, Asian, and National art from different periods. The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan , Kazan’s premier museum, is across the Kremlin’s main entrance. Here you’ll find large archeological and ethnographic collections. If you have Soviet nostalgia, visit the Soviet Lifestyle Museum inside a communal flat. If you are looking for something even more unusual, visit the Museum of Chak Chak dedicated to the traditional Tatar dough pastry.
Try Tatar Cuisine
Contrary to our expectations, we enjoyed food all around Russia. It is usually very well prepared, and there are plenty of dishes to choose from. Tatarstan is a great place to savor food since it combines local cuisine with Russian and Asian influences. The Echpochmak, a triangular pie, the Chak-chak, a sweet soft dough, and the Koymak, a kind of pancake, are its highlights. We had lunch on a beautiful terrace in Tatarskaya Usadba . They offer delicious food, but you have to be patient with your order. If you want to try typical Tatar food, go to Dom Tatarskoi Kulinarii . If your thing is quick, delicious, and cheap local food, go to Dobraya Stolovaya or Tubatay . Finally, if you want to try something even more exotic, the Rubai offers delicious Uzbek food.
Join a Local Festival
Kazan hosts numerous events and festivals all year round. Our last day was a holiday. Locals were singing and dancing to their national songs. Later we realized that we had attended the celebrations of Tatarstan national day. The city’s greatest local festival is Sabantuy . It takes place after the crop planting and includes horse races, wrestling matches, and all kinds of singing events. If you happen to visit Kazan in February, you’ll be delighted by its Opera Festival . If you visit in July or August, don’t forget to attend the Kazan Jazz Festival . The concerts are held inside the Kremlin’s Pushechnyy Dvor every Thursday evening.
Explore the Rest of Tatarstan
Tatarstan’s cultural heritage is so rich that it has three Unesco World Heritage Sites. Obviously, Kazan is one of them. The other two are Bolgar and Sviyazhsk. Bolgar was the medieval capital of Volga Bulgaria, a state that existed between the 7th and 13th centuries. The Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex has several mosques, mausoleums, and palaces from that period. Sviyazshk , on the other hand, is a fortress from the 16th century that the Russian army used as a base during the siege of Kazan. Its most important landmark is the Assumption Cathedral.
Where to Stay in Kazan
Kazan is one of Russia’s top tourist destinations. Thus, you have several hotels to choose from. We wanted to stay on the main street, so we chose the Shalyapin Palace Hotel . It proved a wonderful idea since the hotel is elegant, rooms are comfortable, and views over Bauman Street splendid. Another gorgeous hotel on the same street is the historic Nogai Hotel . The large constructivist building from 1937 used to host publishers and writers. If you are still not satisfied, book a room in Kazan’s best hotel: Kazan Palace by Tasigo . This delicately designed hotel is an art nouveau palace from the beginning of the 20th century.

Backpacking Russia Solo Pt. 1: Kicking it off in Kazan
The city of Kazan — capital of the Republic of Tatarstan — sits a 90 minute flight away from Moscow. I’d never heard of it, but when I saw a photo of the Qolşärif Mosque on Instagram, I decided it looked like a pretty cool place to kick off my mini backpacking tour of Russia.
The flight itself was cheap and easy. What I didn’t anticipate, however, was the difficulty involved in escaping Kazan International Airport. After following signs for the Aeroexpress train backwards and forwards for a solid 10 minutes, I felt like I was failing some sort of bizarre Russian initiative test and was ready to get back on a plane to Moscow.
For anyone planning a trip to Kazan, it turns out the system is this: sit in an unmarked waiting area around 50 metres down the corridor from Arrivals until 15 minutes before the train is due to depart. Then stand up without warning and race towards the heavily cordoned off, seemingly disused escalator tucked around the corner from the main concourse.
It’s then a Hunger-Games-style race to the top, where at least a hundred people fight (possibly to the death) for the use of two excruciatingly slow ticket machines whilst yelling Russian swear words at an elderly yet adamantly unfazed female attendant (the latter part seems to be optional). Once you’ve got your ticket, don’t look back.
In all seriousness, despite this bizarre system, the Aeroexpress train is the way to reach the city centre from the airport. It’s an electric train which glides almost soundlessly through the gorgeous Kazan countryside, stopping off at rural settlements along the way. It only costs 45 rubles, which works out at around 60p.
Having spent six months in Moscow, I noticed two key things when I arrived in Kazan. First: the space. And second: the fresh air. It’s not the biggest of cities, but with its lazy winding river and closely surrounding lakes and countryside, it’s a far cry from Russia’s capital, where high rises and subway stations and human beings have been shoehorned into every smoggy square millimetre of space.
I’d made the mistake of booking my accommodation in Kazan at the last minute, on the weekend of Victory Day (one of Russia’s biggest public holidays), so pickings were slim, to say the least. I ended up in Hostel V Tapochkak which, despite being literally one of only three properties left on any booking site, was awesome.
It’s a small-ish hostel run by the owner and her son, who went out of their way to make me feel at home. They spoke to me in English (with the help of google translate) and also helped me along a little with my Russian. This was the third thing I noticed: people are much friendlier outside of Moscow. It’s not that Muscovites aren’t friendly, but you do have to get past that big-city-brusqueness to appreciate it.
Hostel V Tapochkak also cemented a general observation I’d made during my time in Moscow: Russians love slippers. Not only was I handed a free pair of slippers on arrival (as was often the case when I visited the homes of my students) but the keyring for the dorm keys, and the logo of the hostel — both of which I’d mistaken for a pair of colourful Matryoshka dolls — were actually a pair of slippers.
I set out exploring from my hostel mid afternoon and managed to see most of the main sights before bedtime, as most of Kazan’s main ‘tourist attractions’ are pretty much in one place. Bauman Ulitsa, the main street of the city which is lined with the majority of its bars and restaurants, also leads to the Kazan Kremlin and Qolşärif Mosque, with several beautiful cathedrals along the way.
Bauman Ulitsa is a vibrant street which showcases Kazan’s surprisingly developed tourism infrastructure. There are street performers at every few metres, from buskers performing acoustic renditions of Blink 182 songs, to jazz musicians and human statues and even Pokemon and transformer robots. There are plenty of street food and souvenir stall, and some of the cafes have menus in English.
My favourite building on Bauman Ulitsa was the bell tower of the Cathedral of the Epiphany. You pay just 100 rubles (around £1.50) to the elderly lady on the stairs intermittently yelling ‘twelve minutes!’ in Russian, and you get the best views of the city. Both of my hamstrings exploded from the steepness of the hundreds of steps leaving me hobbling like Quasi Modo on the way down, but it was totally worth it.
After a detour off Bauman Ulitsa to the Peter and Paul Cathedral, I rounded off my evening at the Kazan Kremlin. It’s free to enter the grounds, but there are individual entrance fees for the museums and some of the buildings. I headed straight for the Qolşärif Mosque (the inspiration for my trip) and it didn’t disappoint.
This functioning mosque is free to enter and has been adapted for tourism, with a tourist balcony looking down on the prayer rooms, and a small exhibition in the entrance hall. They give out head scarves for women to wear on entrance if you don’t have one. Despite being packed with tourists, the mosque is still an interesting window into the life of Kazan’s practising Muslim population, which is much more visible and integrated than that of Moscow, due to Kazan’s Asian heritage and significant Tatar population.
By the time I’d finished looking around the mosque, my 5:00 start and the exhaustion of travel were hitting me hard. I headed back to the hostel and was comatose in my bunk by 22:00, oblivious to the comings and goings of my roommates.
In the morning, news of my status as a foreigner spread through my dorm like wildfire after a half-dressed body builder attempted to make conversation with me in Russian. I’m frequently mistaken for a Russian national (apparently it’s a combination of my bone structure and my natural resting bitch face) and nobody had really questioned my presence until overhearing my bumbling attempt at speaking their language.
Everyone else in my dorm was Russian, something I noticed everywhere I stayed on this trip. They were baffled and excited by my presence in equal measure, taking turns to practice their English and find out what the hell a baby-faced English girl was doing travelling Russia alone. They all shared tips about the other cities on my list, handed out contact details of friends and relatives they had living there, and were generally just some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Who said Russians are unfriendly!?
After protracted goodbyes to my new friends, I checked out with eight hours to kill before my train and a vague plan to explore some of the surrounding countryside. But then came the rain. More rain than I’d ever seen in my life, flooding the streets (and the contents of my backpack) within moments. Typical.
So I explored the city’s limited single Metro line and main shopping centre for a few hours, lamenting my decisions not to leave my backpack in the hostel or pack a waterproof jacket. Heading back down Bauman Ulitsa I stopped by Chak Chak Cafe to try some chak chak: a regional speciality resembling a honey-drenched rice crispie cake. Served with a latte and a little pot of honey, it was any sweet tooth’s dream, and a bargain at 150 rubles.
When the rain finally died down (at around 4pm, wah) I resumed my previous evening’s exploration of the grounds of the Kremlin, including the city’s leaning tower. Legend (according to a tour guide I, ahem, accidentally overheard, without eavesdropping at all) says that when Ivan the Terrible seized Kazan, he proposed marriage to Söyembikä, the niece of the overthrown Khan. She acquiesced on one condition: that he build her the highest tower in Tatarstan. When it was complete, she threw herself from the top. Not sure how much truth there is to the tale, but it makes a dramatic story, nonetheless.
By the time I headed to Kazan’s train station to catch my sleeper train to Yekaterinburg (blog on that coming soon) I was wishing that I’d taken an extra day to visit some museums and learn a little more about the fascinating heritage of this city. Retrospectively, I can say it came out as my favourite of the Russian cities I visited. Its blend of Russian and Tatar culture, its Orthodox and Islamic architecture, its sprawling countryside and welcoming, lively atmosphere makes it a must see. It’s well worth the short flight if you’re visiting Moscow.

As the "Third Capital of Russia," there is plenty to see and to do while staying in Kazan. Visitors can enjoy long walks down the streets of the city, as each of them offers a new arrangement of colors and historic buildings. Kazan is also one of the largest economic, political, scientific and cultural centers of the country.
Kazan Kremlin
One of the main attractions is the Kazan Kremlin. Built by Ivan the Terrible on the ruins of the palace of the Kazan Khanate that he destroyed, this white fortress is a beautiful sight in any season. The Kremlin of Kazan reflects not only the ethnic mix of Tatars and Russians that make up this important region of the Russian Federation, but also the combined strength of the region's two great religions: Islam and Orthodox Christianity.
Kul Sharif Mosque
The magnificent Kul Sharif Mosque , named for Kazan's last great Imam before Ivan the Terrible invaded and seized the city, is the Kremlin's main jewel. It is the largest Muslim place of worship in Europe, and serves as home to a rich collection of ancient books.
Annunciation Cathedral
As an equally important place of Orthodox worship, the Annunciation Cathedral within Kazan’s Kremlin is an architectural gem completed in 1561, 9 years after the city was conquered. The cathedral is said to have been designed by Postnik Yakovlev, the same architect who was said to be blinded after completing St. Basil’s Cathedral on Moscow’s Red Square.
Temple of All Religions
Today's Kazan appears to be equally strongly tied with its unique mixture of religious beliefs. Philanthropist Ildar Khanov began work on his Temple of All Religions in 1992 near the shores of the Volga River, and this unique building is still under construction. The Temple makes use of religious architecture from all over the world, and has an Orthodox church dome, a minaret, synagogue-like fixtures, and other items representing 16 of the world's many faiths.
In 2005 Kazan celebrated its millennium jubilee. Despite such venerable age, the city is growing and dynamically developing in all respects.
A prevailing feature of life in the city is peaceful, creative coexistence of different religions and nationalities. Due to its gorgeous architecture, breathtaking scenery, and welcoming locals, Kazan is the perfect destination for travelers of all ages. Frequently asked questions
What do i need to know before booking a flight.
There are various factors to consider when booking a flight including cost, fare classes, baggage policies, the complications of flying long haul, and complying with airport regulations. To make your booking journey smoother KAYAK has developed a comprehensive flight guide including insights on finding affordable flights, packing efficiently, and utilizing the best travel tools.
What is the cheapest day of the week to book a flight?
The best day to book your flight depends on a number of factors, but there are general trends that you can follow to increase your chances of cheaper plane tickets. Based on an analysis of KAYAK data for all flights departing from inside United States over the last 12 months, the cheapest day to fly for domestic flights is Thursday. For international flights, Tuesday had the cheapest tickets on average.
Which month of the year are flight prices lowest?
It’s well established that flights in the low season are generally cheaper than ticket prices during the high season. That means that knowing which month to find the lowest priced plane tickets will depend heavily on seasonality and your destination. While avoiding peak travel times can help you keep costs down, our data shows that the month with the lowest priced plane tickets for domestic flights based on all searches made on KAYAK in the last 12 months was January, while the most expensive was October. If you’re booking an international flight, then January is the cheapest month to fly and December the most expensive.
When is the best time to buy plane tickets - Last minute or in advance?
Last minute flight deals are definitely up for grabs but when exactly to purchase your plane tickets will depend on where you’re traveling to and from. Based on all data for flight searches made on KAYAK over the last 12 months, prices for domestic flights remained below the average price up to 1 weeks before departure. For international flights, deals could still be had up to 1 weeks prior to the departure date, with prices remaining below average. If you’re flexible, KAYAK brings you both advance and last minute one-way and round-trip flight deals.
Can flying international flights with a layover save money on airfare?
For many long-haul international flights, flying non-stop is not possible and you will have to fly with a layover. Some routes will offer both and you could consider flying with a layover for a number of reasons. Firstly, breaking up what would otherwise be a long-haul flight, taking a rest and then completing the journey might make the flight more manageable. Secondly, prices can also be lower than non-stop flights, so while it might take longer for you to reach your destination, you could save money. We’ve looked at prices over the last 12 months for the 100 most popular international destinations for KAYAK users and on average, prices for non-stop flights were cheaper than flights with a layover.
How does KAYAK find such low flight prices?
KAYAK processes over 2 billion flight queries annually and displays results from hundreds of airlines and third party sites, allowing it to find a variety of flight prices and options. It also displays results from 2M+ properties along with rental cars, vacation packages, activities and millions of verified reviews so users can see as many available travel options as possible.

Then on the search results page you can use various filters to compare options for the same flight and easily choose the best flight deal from all of the deals coming straight from the travel sites to your screen, with no extra fee from KAYAK.
How can Hacker Fares save me money?
Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets on different airlines when it can save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket.
Does KAYAK query more flight providers than competitors?
Yes, KAYAK has access to more data and information than online travel agencies and consistently outperforms the competition in accuracy, globally.
How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy?
KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a given destination and date is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.
What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care?
Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you flights up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. That way, you can see if leaving a day or two earlier will find you a better deal. You can also select the flexible "weekend" or "month" search options to widen your search range and find the cheapest price that works for you.
