The only improvement would be to: - educate about basic pricing for most purchased items (Gold was explained, but e.g. a Thawb outfit price should be closer to 100 Dirham and not over 200 Dirham - give some hints what good prices for customers are). - hence the routing would make more sense in the other direction (for shopping less expensive first instead of most expensive). But I will not deduct any stars over that.

Fabulous tour exploring all the highlights of Dubai. We started with a tour of the Burj Khalifa the Worlds tallest building, unbelievable views from the top. We also had a very nice tour of Abu Dhabi which is famous for their delicious dates and sparkling blue waters of the Persian Gulf. We were also treated to a stunning cruise on Dubai Creek with its fantastic buffet and out of this world views. Very talented entertainment was also included. The grand finale of our tour was the Desert Safari with a tasty barbecue and thrilling entertainment including a fire breathing dancer. I just cannot express how grand this tour was. Thank You

The tour was good, it was well organised and we were kept up to date. The day to Abu Dhabi could have been better. We felt rushed at the Grand Mosque. The afternoon was just a visit to a normal shop - not exactly a date market as we were told. It was supposed to be a full day your but we didn’t do anything in the afternoon - spent most of the time driving up and down the motorway. We later realised there was much more to see and do in Abu Dhabi. However, overall it was very well organised for our first visit. We realised we could save a lot of money on transport had we just took a local taxi.

Stars of Dubai - 6 days

All of the tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. My only issues were that we paid for a 5 star hotel and we got a 4 star hotel. I let a representative know about this hotel discrepancy and nothing was done or corrected. It was never addressed. Also, we were not informed that we would not be seeing certain listed sites until I asked why we didn't see them. I was then told they were closed due to Covid. Those sites are still listed in the online brochure and thus included in the price.

Sehr viel gesehen, sehr gute Organisation, gutes Essen, ausgezeichneter Reiseleiter, insgesamt sehr zufriedenstellend. Allerdings: Beworben wurde die Reise mit einer maximalen Gruppengröße von 20 (!), was ein wesentliches Motiv für die Buchung war. Tatsächlich war die Gruppengröße 39 - 41, also doppelt so groß!!!! Wie vertrauenswürdig sind eigentlich die Angaben zur Reise? Wäre die Gruppengröße mit max 40 Personen angegeben gewesen hätten wir diese Reise NICHT GEBUCHT!

Dubai 6hr City Tour We were met at the cruise terminal in Dubai by Shah our guide and driver Suhas. From the moment we got in the car which was spacious and very clean for 6 of us, we knew we were in good hands. Shah expanded on the draft itinerary and confirmed we were happy with that, he also advised we could change it any way we wanted. Our trip day was 31 December so certain parts of the city were shutting in advance of the New Year firework display. However this did not deter our sightseeing in any way down to Shah & Suhas knowledge of the city and their way around. They went out of their way in particular to ensure we could still get a great view of the Burj Khalifa albeit from a different than normal viewing point. Shah had an excellent knowledge of the city, the country and its history and he happily and interestingly shared all his knowledge with us and answering our many questions. We were enthralled. We all felt we were well looked after by them both - the trip felt personal to us and they made sure they picked us up safely anytime we left the vehicle. I cannot recommend this company enough and I only found them by reading reviews prior to our trip - hence my review here which is something I am not normally in the habit of. Thank you to everyone involved but especially Shah & Suhas who ensured our last day of 2019 ended on a high.

You might want to look into adjacent emirates. Jebel Jais with a new via ferrata, hikes in Ras Al Khaimah/Fujairah or Hatta.

Where to stay in Dubai?

You will never experience a shortage of places to stay in this city. Especially if you are willing to splurge and stay at luxury accommodations. You could also check rental places such as Airbnb if you are looking at budget options. In addition, if you are wondering about the best place to stay in the city, think of it like a massive strip of land – because you will keep travelling up and down the same road all the time. 

The central location (and also extremely crowded) is near the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. On one end of the strip is the Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. On the other end of the strip is the airport and old souks of Dubai that played a key role in the history of the city.

What is the best time to go to Dubai?

The best time to go to Dubai is between November and April when the temperature goes as high as 30 degrees and the lowest is 20 degrees. That is because Dubai is extremely hot (because of its proximity to the desert) and any other month will be extremely difficult to bear. The tourist season also starts in the same period, i.e., from November.

What about the currency in Dubai?

There is no shortage of things to do in this city, but remember, it is a city that is built for the uber-rich and the who’s who of the world.
