The Johan Cruijff ArenA hosts Ajax home games as well as occasional Netherlands football internationals and big concert/dance events.

Music concerts from the likes of artists Michael Jackson, U2, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Ed Sheeran and Robbie Williams have been held.

The ArenA was used for 5 matches during the Euro 2000 tournament including the Netherlands-Italy semi-final; it has also hosted the UEFA Champions League final of 1998 and the UEFA Europa League final of 2013 .

The stadium was recently refurbished and hosted 4 matches in June 2021 as part of the delayed Euro 2020 tournament.

In 2018, the stadium was renamed Johan Cruijff ArenA in honour of the legendary Ajax and Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff (1947-2016). There is a bronze statue of Johan Cruijff near the main entrance, just outside of the Ajax store. It was designed by artist Hans Jouta and was unveiled in 2020.

The Club: AFC Ajax is the most famous and successful Dutch club having won the European Cup / UEFA Champions League 4 times and the Dutch Eredivisie 36 times. Their peak years came during the early 1970s.

Although Ajax had Eredivisie title wins in 2018-19, 2020-21 and 2021-22, it has lost some form of late and the 2023-24 campaign has been poor by past standards. Ajax has an average attendance of around 54,000 at the ArenA.

Watching Events: Try to see a game of the Netherlands Football team ( Nederlands-elftal ) if at all possible. The Dutch fans adorned in orange are one of the most colourful sights in world football. The Dutch national side has a rich footballing history including World Cup runners-up in 1974/1978/2010 and winning the 1988 European Championship with Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten.

Not all international home games are played in Amsterdam – the occasional game is also played at Rotterdam’s De Kuip and the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven – all are easily accessible via public transport.

Tickets are available online from the Dutch FA (KNVB) – the big games do sell out so buy your tickets well in advance. You could consider getting tickets for friendly matches – these are not so popular and are cheaper – priced from around €30.

Ajax tickets are only available to verified Ajax account holders. Non-resident visitors can purchase ticket packages to games though these cost around €450 and include a hotel stay.

What’s the Difference Between an Arena and a Stadium?

By jake rossen | jan 18, 2024.

Arenas and stadiums have some key differences.

The word stadium conjures up something massive. Consider AT&T Stadium. Home to the Dallas Cowboys, the venue seats roughly 80,000—up to 105,000 can be accommodated with standing-room expansion—and occupies 3.1 million square feet of space. Even larger is Michigan Stadium, the field for the University of Michigan, which can fit 115,000.

While stadiums are often enormous, that’s not strictly what separates them from being labeled an arena. So what’s the difference between the two?

The qualifying difference between an arena and a stadium is whether it’s a permanently enclosed structure. Stadiums are open-air construction that feature tiered seating around a sports field or stage. They have no permanent roof or walls.

Arenas, in contrast, are closed to the elements. They also host sporting events, like hockey or arena football, but tend to be smaller and better suited for other live attractions like music or plays.

Stadiums can have roofs—AT&T Stadium does—but they’re usually retractable. (Sometimes, stadiums with temporary roofs are called domes .) Nor do they need to be Texas-sized behemoths. Curtis Granderson Stadium at the University of Illinois seats just 1800 spectators.

Another venue term that gets tossed around is amphitheater. While it means largely the same thing as a stadium, some venues reserve the word for places with superior acoustics. The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, for example, is referred to as an amphitheater.

An amphitheater’s aural advantages can be either architectural, naturally-occurring, or both. Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado, is thought to be one of the most sonically-pleasing venues in the world thanks to rock formations that are ideal for sound transfer.

Stadiums as we know them take plenty of cues from ancient architecture. Rome’s famous Colosseum (which is labeled an amphitheater by some) inspired Ohio State’s stadium in 1922. Circus Maximus and its chariot races put AT&T Stadium to shame: Some historians believe the facility could hold up to 150,000 to 250,000 spectators.

Fulfilling his promise to 'get back', Paul will return to France, Spain and the UK with his Got Back  tour. Earlier this month, Paul announced his first live shows of 2024 with the next leg of the tour launching in South America this October.

With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’,  ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.

This will mark Paul’s first European show since his iconic Glastonbury headlining performance in 2022. Hailed as “one of the greatest gigs of all time” by The Times and “a masterclass from the greatest living cultural figure in this country’s history” by The i, it was also Paul and his band’s 500th show together! These dates will see McCartney return for his first live performance in Paris in six years - in 2018 he played at La Defense Arena, where he is making his return. The wait has been longer for Spaniards, where he last played eight years ago, in 2016 at Estadio Vincente Calderon.

Paul launched his Got Back tour in 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023 Paul performed 18 incredible shows as the Got Back tour rocked through Australia, Mexico and Brazil.

Artists Are Canceling Arena Tours Right and Left. Maybe They Shouldn’t Have Been Playing Arenas in the First Place

arena stadium tour

By Chris Black

Image may contain Indoors Theater Auditorium Hall People Person Amphitheatre Architecture Arena and Building

This is an edition of the newsletter Pulling Weeds With Chris Black, in which the columnist weighs in on hot topics in culture. Sign up here to get it in your inbox every Thursday.

Last week, the Black Keys, a band best known for soundtracking car commercials and occasionally fistfighting fellow Nashville resident Jack White, canceled the entire North American leg of a scheduled arena tour without explanation. Why would a band without a major hit in years think it can sell out arenas in tertiary markets? No one can be sure, but the touring business is in trouble, and part of the reason is ego.

Going on tour used to be a non-negotiable part of a life in music—a way to interact with fans, make money, and see the world. But nowadays, artists either want to play arenas or stadiums or do a residency, playing multiple nights in one city at the same venue, à la Harry Styles and Adele. Every week, another artist goes viral on Twitter for low ticket sales, with a screengrab of a Ticketmaster seat map awash in blue. I will be at the Charli XCX and Troye Sivan show in New York City at Madison Square Garden, but can that duo sell as many tickets in Tacoma on a weeknight? Kim Petras, an artist with hits, had such an awful time with arenas that she resorted to Groupon. And legacy artists aren’t necessarily faring better; for every Justin Timberlake, who just added nine dates to his Forget Tomorrow world tour, there’s a Jennifer Lopez, who recently cut her upcoming summer greatest-hits tour short by seven dates , reportedly due to soft ticket sales.

The Taylor Swifts of the world are still making money on the road, and artists from Wednesday and Waxahatchee to Chappel Roan and Joanna Newsom are selling out shows at great venues. But big arena tours have historically been sustained by early ticket sales, and that part of the market appears to be collapsing. The Twitter account @UnderFaceValue tracks price drops and undersold shows and “other peculiarities across the ticketing ecosystem”; its mantra, because soft sales translate into crazy 11th-hour price breaks, is #PaysToWait. If you’d waited for the right moment, you could have seen the Rolling Stones in Seattle for $29, 21 Savage in Chicago for $19, or George Strait and Chris Stapleton in Indianapolis for $13.

These challenges hit close to home for me. My cohost Jason Stewart and I take our podcast, How Long Gone, on the road. We experienced a high point in Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s, a cozy spot in Fishtown with a rich history. The show was a sellout, the crowd was fantastic. The next time we visited, we stepped up to a bigger venue, World Cafe Live. The turnout was decent, but it didn’t reach the same level of energy, and the experience felt different. We're heading back to Philadelphia in June, and we've decided to return to Johnny Brenda’s . It's a lesson learned: Better to have a packed house in an intimate setting than a half-empty room in a larger venue. The ego bruise was temporary, but the lesson was invaluable.

So, who do we blame? Is this the fault of corporate mega-promoters like LiveNation (which produced the Black Keys’ tour) booking artists into the biggest venues possible, then jacking the price of everything from tickets to parking to concessions, all regardless of what the market will bear, while tightening their grip on the marketplace to the point that the Department of Justice is preparing to sue them in federal court for antitrust violations ? Is it agents and managers gassing up the artist? Is it just the artist's desire to sell out these giant venues? Maybe all of the above.

If you’re going out on the road and you’re big enough to even consider booking an arena show, why not do three nights in a prestigious venue like Radio City Music Hall or the Beacon Theatre instead? It provides fans with a more intimate experience, and every night will feel full. The Black Keys eventually released a statement . They didn’t blame anyone. They didn’t whine about how hard touring is. They just said they were recalibrating after a successful European run playing venues like Brixton Academy in London and the Zenith in Paris. It was the right approach. We all know it was ticket sales, but no artist should be ashamed of taking your lumps, switching things up, and selling tickets.

Big streaming numbers look great online but don’t necessarily translate to ticket sales. A touring business has to be built, returning to the same cities every year. A career cannot rely solely on the algorithm. Being great live will get people through the door and keep them coming back. These offline collective experiences are few and far between these days; buying tickets and going to shows is essential and valuable. They just don’t all need to be in arenas.

Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour stop in London is officially in full swing, and the celebrity Swifties are showing up and out!

On Saturday, June 22, the 34-year-old "London Boy" crooner, yet again, drew a bevy of celebrities for Night 2 of her three-night stop, with Mete and Paramore were the opening acts, at Wembley Stadium. She had already welcomed an estimated 80,000 concertgoers from across the world for Night 1, including some royals and other notable figures and fans of the 14-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist. Given Swift's connection to the U.K. capital -- she lived in London on and off with Joe Alwyn , her ex-boyfriend of six years -- it's no surprise just how many friends turned out.

While she may have said "So Long, London" in one song off her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department , she is back and better than ever. For the Saturday show, the likes of Tom Cruise, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Liam Hemsworth showed up to support Swift.

Ditto for Travis, Jason and Kylie Kelce, all of whom returned after having a blast in the VIP tent Friday night, alongside Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Those who miss out on the first London leg (featuring  chicken tenders with seemingly ranch ) will have a chance to catch the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in August, when Swift returns for five more shows before she officially heads back to the U.S. for tour dates in New Orleans, Miami and Indianapolis.

Until then, check out the full list of celebs below who made it to Swift's first Eras Tour stop in London.

Cara Delevingne

Nicola Coughlin

Jonathan Van Ness

Jason and Kylie Kelce

Scott and Andrea Swift (Taylor's parents)

Salma Hayek (slide four)

Leslie Mann (slide seven)

Prince William and his children

William and the royal kiddos -- Prince George and 10, Princess Charlotte -- made an appearance at the show. The concert fell on William's 42nd birthday, who celebrated by dancing to Swift's hit "Shake It Off." As a special treat, Swift and her boyfriend,  Travis Kelce , who also attended the show, had a private meet and greet with the royals backstage.

Swift later went back to that same IG post and tagged Kelce, the first time she's done that.

Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson

He's back and ready for another singalong.

They're baaaaaack!

The Mission: Impossible was all smiles at Swift's show Saturday night in London.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

The wife-husband tandem also couldn't contain their smiles.

Liam Hemsworth

Greta Gerwig

Rachel Zegler

Swift is no stranger to big names in the crowd. In August, during her Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles , her VIP tent saw friend after friend enter, including Selena Gomez, Mindy Kaling, Charlize Theron, Emma Stone, Channing Tatum and Kevin Costner, among many others. Since then, her No. 1 VIP has been No. 87 on the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce , who Swift  began dating in late (not so cruel) summer  of last year.

In May, Kelce  attended Swift's 87th Eras Tour show , which just so happened to occur in the City of Love -- Paris, France. Coincidence or is she a mastermind ? Regardless, Kelce was accompanied by her close friends, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper , while her mom,  Andrea Swift , and  Lenny Kravitz  were also in attendance.

After a two-month break from the end of February to early May, Swift resumed her record-breaking world tour in Nanterre, France, and has visited Sweden, Portugal and Scotland in the weeks since, making each show with unique surprise songs -- including the recently debuted " murder mashup " and " diss track mashup. "

Sadly, Swift recently used her 100th show to announce that the Eras Tour will officially conclude  in December as she finishes out the two-year spanning undertaking in Vancouver, Canada -- the hometown of her good friend, Ryan Reynolds , who we predict will absolutely be present.

Best MLB stadium tours: Go behind the scenes at these ballparks

“Life is an adventure, it’s not a package tour.”  – German philosopher Eckhart Tolle

If you enjoy going on “package tours” of historic mansions, foreign cities or fascinating museums, why not take a tour at a Major League Baseball stadium? We won’t tell Tolle, but let’s consider such a guided tour our own little “adventure.”

While it varies by venue, such tours typically lead you through the clubhouse, press box, workout facilities, batting cages under the stands, a dugout … and some will even allow you to walk onto the playing field. If the team has its own museum, those are likely to be included. The Atlanta Braves, for instance, include a curated look at their exceptional Monument Garden at Truist Park when you take one of their tours.

When planning a tour of a Major League ballpark, keep several things in mind:

Pro Tip No. 1: For the most behind-the-scenes experiences, go when the team doesn’t have a home game.

Follow every MLB game: Latest MLB scores, stats, schedules and standings.

You will often see notices listing features you won’t be able to see when there is a game that day. So even though you are likely to pay the same whether such access is permitted or denied, you’ll get more for your money when the team is on the road, or has an off-day during a homestand.

Pro Tip No. 2  Hurry to visit an older ballpark. You might not get another chance.

Derrick Sloboda of Fort Wayne, Indiana considers himself quite fortunate that he took a tour at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park before it was demolished. The Giants had already moved closer to downtown at what is now called Oracle Park, and the 49ers were about to move south to Santa Clara, so Candlestick was in its final weeks.

“The guide extended the tour by an hour because so many people were saying ‘good bye,’ (so) we had half hour on the field, which was great,” recalls Sloboda.

Keep in mind that the main purpose of taking a guided tour is to create memories, and once that venue is gone, those memories will be even more special to you.

Pro Tip No. 3: Try to overlook the high prices

Typically the money you pay for the tour goes to a charity or “foundation” operated by the team, or one that’s meaningful to the ownership. The prices can be pretty high (VIP Tours at some parks top $500), but you’ll get to visit parts of the facility that fans rarely get to see.

So rather than focusing on what it costs, think about the charity your purchase is supporting. And appreciate that you and your family are getting to experience the places where your favorite players do their work.

It’s hard to put a price tag on that.

Join us now for our ranking of the five MLB parks with the best tours (OK, I’m cheating by including six!), based partially on the experiences of visitors to my BaseballParks.com site.

1. Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

While other teams might offer you one or two options of tours, the Dodgers provide 11 ! These range from the standard walking stadium tour ($30, and kids and seniors are $25), to the pregame tour of landmarks within the ballpark ($45), to the "Take the Field Tour" where you can play catch in the outfield ($175, only on non-game days – bring your glove!) all the way to the $500 VIP Tour that includes getting to greet the players as they take batting practice.

Most of these experiences include a tour of the Vin Scully Press Box, which is Holy Ground to me, because it’s where I actually got to meet Vin about a dozen years ago!

While on a trip to visit relatives in California, Dutch citizen Chris Kabout thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Chavez Ravine. “The tour showed you the press boxes, old locker rooms, showcases with trophies, gold gloves, retired jerseys, the dugout and you were allowed to walk on the dirt,” he recalls.

The Netherlands resident added that the tour’s guide kept things lively by asking the group trivia questions about the Dodgers. And considering the team dates back to 1883 as the Brooklyn Grays, there is a lot of trivia to discuss!

2. Citi Field, New York  Mets

As befits Citi Field’s reputation as a fun place to attend a game, tours of the Mets’ home have a decidedly upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere, complete with a sit-down history lesson in the room where post-game press conferences are held.

Like the Dodgers, the Mets offer multiple tour options – with varying prices. The public tour costs $25 ($20 for kids 12 and under) and will take you to the private suites, two of the season-ticket-holder restaurants, the press box and down on the field.

On days with a home night game, the "Grand Slam Tour" is available for $70, and that’s over and above the cost of your game ticket. This also permits early entry into the park to watch batting practice. If you want to get closer to the players around the batting cage, there’s the $250 All-Star Tour.

They also offer private tours, with the cost depends on how many are in your group. For instance, if you put together a group of ten, the cost is $62.50 per person.

3. Wrigley Field, Chicago  Cubs

When Wrigley was being designed 110 years ago, they didn’t make it easy to get from one spot under the stands to another. But that just makes the guided tours of the Friendly Confines all the more interesting.

The charge of $30 is reasonable compared to other parks, and whether it’s a gameday or not, you’ll get to check out the famous bleachers and go down on the field. If the Cubbies aren’t home that day, you’ll also get to go in the visiting clubhouse plus one of the dugouts … and you’ll get up close and personal with the iconic ivy growing on the outfield wall.

4. Yankee Stadium, New York

If you go on a tour here, you won’t be visiting the exact spot where Babe Ruth or Lou Gehrig played – or Bernie Williams for that matter – because this version of Yankee Stadium opened in 2009. But you will be able to visit the monuments to Babe and Lou in Monument Park in center field as part of the $35 Classic Tour. It also includes the New York Yankees museum. There’s even a version of the tour that includes lunch at the Hard Rock Café that’s built into the ballpark.

One number you’ll see and hear often during any tour here: 27. That’s the number of World Series titles captured by the Bronx Bombers. They won’t let you forget it!

5 (tie). Busch Stadium, St. Louis Cardinals & Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City Royals

While one is a fairly new facility (Busch Stadium, 2006) and one is kind of not-so-new (Kauffman Stadium, 1973), they have more in common than the state of Missouri. Both the Cards and Royals operate exceptional museums that are worthy of your time, and their tour guides are among the nicest and friendliest in the sport.

The Royals have been operating tours for decades, and they have the process down pat. They offer three versions, and you can’t beat the prices: the Classic Tour costs $15; the All-Star tour is $25 (includes the team Hall of Fame); and the MVP Tour costs $35 (includes the broadcast facilities and the dugout suites). Don’t forget to visit KC’s excellent Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, just six miles west of Kauffman.

Across the state in St. Louis, the Cards offer two tours. The 360 Tour is a quick walk around the park and the dugout, showing you the view from various vantage points. It costs $12. The Classic Tour is $22 and includes a visit to the broadcast booths and admission to the Cardinals museum across the street.

Come to think of it, plan an adventure to Missouri so you can visit both Kauffman and Busch. The “package tours” sure are affordable, and you won’t get in trouble with a German philosopher!

About Joe Mock: Joe has examined all 30 Major League parks, all 23 spring training parks and all 119 affiliated Minor League parks – plus plenty of indy league and college facilities. He covers sports facilities for USA TODAY publications and he’s operated  BaseballParks.com  since 1997. There he’s posted nearly 100 in-depth reviews of pro parks that have opened in the last quarter century. His ballpark expertise has landed him appearances on the Travel Channel and History Channel. Noel and Liam Gallagher 'secretly books three dates at Wembley Arena for an Oasis reunion tour before talks collapsed'

N oel and Liam Gallagher  are said to have 'secretly booked' three dates at London's Wembley Arena for an Oasis reunion tour this year.

The two brothers reportedly planned to reunite at the London stadium on July 8, 9 and 10 in a bid to mend their previous rift.

Noel, 57, and Liam, 51, have been embroiled in a very public feud ever since Oasis split at their final concert in Paris in 2009 after a backstage bust-up.

But now it is believed that the pair will have to wait to put their differences behind them.

According to The Mirror , the highly-awaited gig will not go ahead after all and the brothers have reportedly 'cancelled' their plans.

'An Oasis reunion has been hoped for for years. This year would have been the big moment, 30 years on from their debut album Definitely Maybe,' a source said.

'But until now, no one has known how close Liam and Noel came to making it a reality.

'It doesn't get much closer than booking Wembley, and their teams were devastated when it all collapsed yet again.'

MailOnline has contacted Noel's representatives for a comment.

Last year Liam was reportedly told to mend his rift with his estranged brother Noel so their mother Peggy can enjoy her 80th birthday with her sons.

Former Oasis star Liam, took his mother on a spa break ahead of her birthday  and Peggy is said to have told Liam to try and get on with Noel once again .

An insider told The Sun : 'In recent years there has been distance within the family, especially with Liam and Noel at war.

'Peggy has told Liam to mend the rift and she is hoping there will be genuine reconciliation.

'Peggy was in a reflective mood and it would be the best birthday present if they’d finally make some steps towards patching up their feud.'

Liam took his mother to the five-star Cliveden House in Berkshire to enjoy a break ahead of her birthday.

He was there with his fiancée Debbie Gwyther and his three children Molly, 24, Lennon, 23, and Gene, 21, as well as his older brother Paul.

Earlier this year Noel confirmed he would like an Oasis reunion but in a format that may come as a surprise to fans.

He revealed he was utterly blown away by the quality of the Abba Voyage show in London, which uses avatars of the band.

Abba Voyage recreates the sight of Abba in their 1970s prime, playing hits like Waterloo, Mamma Mia and Lay All Your Love On me.

And when asked about the possibility of an Oasis hologram show while speaking to Matt Morgan for his podcast he said yes.

Noel told the show: 'I was very impressed by it to be honest but yeah, if anybody wants to do an Oasis one, give us a shout. I would be bang up for it.

'Id say 'great', speak to that guy over there and then come up with a figure and then he'll relay it to me and I'll say either yes or no.'

His surprising comment comes just weeks after his brother Liam shut down any speculation that Oasis could be set to reunite, after rumours swirled that the group were planning to get back together.

The singer, who appeared on the  Jonathan Ross Show in March, and was quick to insist he hasn't spoken to his brother Noel 'for 10 years.'

Quizzed by Jonathan on the age-old rumours, Liam quickly said: 'I haven't spoken to him for about 10 years, 2009 I think.'

Oasis - known for the likes of Wonderwall and She's Electric - sensationally split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up between the warring brothers.

In the 14 years that have followed, Liam and Noel have traded bitter insults back and forth in interviews and over social media.

Last year, Liam posted a major hint towards an Oasis reunion, reaching out to his elder brother for a 'cuddle', while declaring: 'Oasis till I die.'

He wrote: 'Listen I love Rkid he's going through a lot of shizzle at the moment and it'll work itself out he knows where I am if he needs a cuddle n a hug Oasis till I die LG x'

The cryptic message received over 20,000 likes as fans began to get their hopes up of long-awaited tour dates.

Liam was a guest on the show alongside John Squire to discuss their brand new album, which is set to reach the number one spot in the official charts this week.

Revealing how they came to work together, Liam explained: 'Down Knebworth, John came down to play on one of the tunes at the end.

'So in the rehearsals leading up to it, I hadn't seen him for ages, so I said 'what have you been up to?' and he said ''I've been writing some tunes.'' I said ''Who's singing them?'' and he went ''well, you are.'' And I was gonna have a year off and that, you know what I mean? So it's his fault.'

Asked who his first choice was for the songs, Liam said to John 'you were looking out for a girl weren't ya? And then you ended up with this sort'. John jokes: 'Yeah, I need new management!'

Explaining why they wanted to work together, John said: 'We know each other's music knowledge inside out, I knew we'd always be on the same page.

Noel's announcement comes after he was revealed as the latest star to join the cast of Disney Plus 's latest hit documentary, Camden .

He is set to star along some of the UK's most talented musicians, including Executive Producer Dua Lipa , Coldplay's Chris Martin .

Much about the singer's role in the series is kept under wraps but TV buffs can expect to see him reveal some untold stories of how the borough influenced his music career.

He will appear alongside other huge stars in the business including Little Simz , Yungblud , Pete Doherty and Carl Barat of The Libertines, Mark Ronson , Nile Rodgers, Boy George , Suggs from Madness and the Black Eyed Peas.

Camden will premiere on May 29, exclusively on Disney+ and will be available on Hulu in the U.S.

Set in London's beating heart of music CAMDEN reveals the untold stories of how the lives and careers of some of the world's most iconic artists were influenced by this corner of London.

Through archive footage, observational filming and interviews, Disney will explore Camden's rich history.

Hearing from world renowned musicians as they relive their Camden experiences; from their very first gigs to sell out concerts, the highs & lows of nights out and a youth spent discovering music.

Camden is a celebration of the vibrancy and rebellion of counter culture as seen through the eyes of some of the most exciting artists, both past and present.

It's a love letter to a place in London that has changed lives, and somewhere that remains a unique hotbed of creativity to this very day.

The Original series is produced by Lightbox, the production company founded by Simon Chinn and Emmy-winning producer Jonathan Chinn.
