Haider bhai arranged best hotel and…

Haider bhai arranged best hotel and transportation services for us . I was bit worried because I was going alone with my 10 years old son . We was only two . We didn’t feel even little bit problem in our whole journey. Alhummadulillah. Highly recommended. May allah bless you more and more . I can strongly recommend al Harmain miss fiza and Haider bhai . I recommend Al Haramain Travel for Umrah packages. Haider found the best deal with visas, flights, 5 star hotels and transfers included. He was very helpful and the communication was great. We enjoyed our stay at Pullman Zam Zam in Madina and Vocco in Makkah. Overall we were pleased with the hotels and the transfer service. I would recommend Umrah package. Best package

We get a very good package from Al Haramain Travel. The prices are reasonable. We took a full package from Madinah to Makkah. Haider Ali assist us in getting the best price and guide us on everything. He also call us in between to check if everything is OK. New to umrah

We have recently been to Umrah. Brother Hamza helped us with most of the arrangements. Hamza was very polite and patient to us. Hotels and transportation was spot on. Those who visiting first time should be aware of Nusuk apps where you must make an appointment to pray in Riajul Jannah. Throughout our journey we were comfortable and received the promised services. I completed my Umrah and returned, and it was truly an amazing experience, Alhamdulillah. Brother Ammar from Al Haramain was supportive throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The hotels he recommended were perfect, just a 5-10 minute walk from the Haram, which was ideal. I rated it 4 stars because there were some areas for improvement, particularly regarding flight check-in, transportation, and the duration of the visa, which could have been for a full year rather than a shorter timeframe.

Excellent communication and honesty from day 1

I contacted Al Haramain Travel early October and November 2023 for Umrah half term February 2024, and brother Haider Ali was professional both times. I didnt book at that time and just comparing pdf document he sent me and checking online prices. On 28 November 2023, contacted him again and brother Haider advised prices has gone up recently. He gave me genuine advice and recommendations on differrent dates and hotels within my budget. Hence, we decided to go forward and made the deposit, and next day and confirmed the booking the next day. His communication was excellent throughout and did all necessary arrangements for visa as well, and sent all documents + visa on time. We checked in hotel in Makkah and Madina, no issues at all. Highly recommended. Came back today from Umrah and Alhamdulillah all went well.

I really recommend Al Haramain Travel for buying umrah packages. Hamza found me the best deal with visas, direct flights, 5 star hotels and transfers included. He was very helpful and the communication was great. We enjoyed our stay at Anjum Hotel in Makkah and Pullman Zam Zam in Madina. We're very pleased with the hotel services for both hotels. The transportation was very stress free and the drivers were very professional. Overall our whole Umrah experience was quite smooth and for this I would like to give special thanks to Hamza. I liaised with a young lady called Fizza throughout… she was very helpful and patient… I received a tailor-made package for Umrah. The transport service was very prompt and kept us up to date on timings. The agents deserve 5 stars… they got 4 because of a few typing errors on their part causing minor confusion before leaving for the journey.

Umrah trip 2024! Fab man brother Ammar!

Completed my umrah and come back was absolutely amazing! Alhamdulillah. Brother Ammar from Al haramain was top class really looked out for me from the start and even whilst I was there doing my umrah he'd check up to see everything is going smoothly and it was made so easy for me Alhamdulillah. The hotels he recommended we're exactly what I would have liked so near to the haram, anjum hotel in Mecca and saja Al Medina just less then a 5 minute walk, absolutely ideal. The transfer was on point too my driver was waiting for me ahead of time at the airport in jeddah and the pick up for transportation throughout was just as I would have liked on time and professional service. Loved everything about my journey Mash'Allah and the hand I got from the agent who was dealing with me he was was really fabulous. Looking forward to going back again soon insha'Allah and it can't be that I won't remember to deal with the same personal to get that same fantastic experience all again. I had overall very good experience. The staff dealt with us were very friendly and helpful. It was Hamza who was dealing with us and he was very professional and prompt in his responses. I went with this travel agency a few…

I went with this travel agency a few years ago with my family, I can’t fault a thing the transportation was prompt throughout our Umrah. We took teens so we had to be mindful about the hotels and we were not disappointed, excellent hotels clean and comfortable big quad rooms. it was a wonderful umrah experience, only thing was we got some ladies in Very Responsive agent. This time I have dealt with a kind Brother called Ammar, he has dealt with all my questions and sent me different packages bespoke to me, chopped and changed until we were happy with hotels, distance and price. umrah package , with first hand knowledge

Had a number if conversations with staff member Hamza. He was very accommodating, and knowledgeable regarding the hotels and his packages. Having recently been to umrah I knew what i wanted and had a good idea of the local landscape , and so it was clear to me he knew the terrian and details around the Haramain Sharaifain. Was able to provide realistic quotes that pretty much aligned with my research , but with the added security of letting him do all the leg-work for me in finding my package. nice guy , will defo be in touch again.

AVOID BOOKING THROUGH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

Well where do I start! First hotels booked vouchers issued, e-tickets issued, I asked for Umrah visa as I knew that they would not allow you to bring Zam Zam water back on Tourist visa few days later hotels cancelled because they were not confirmed in first place. Then was asked to pay extra per person to arranged alternative hotels when I purched a package deal, flights, hotels, transferes at set price. Eventually had to get the main company involved who Al haramin operate through and was told nit to pay any extra as package was price was agreed and paid in full. Ended up with tourist visas and hotel far away from Haram. Long story short got to Mecca, checked in ok, went to Madina the hotel that was apparently booked for us did not have a reservation for us. Contacted Alharamin and they told me to wait an hour whilst they look into it! Please avoid this company if you want a stress free pilgrimage that's all I have to say.

Saudi Arabia will allow pilgrims to use electric scooters during this year's Haj season. This measure aims to enhance the pilgrims' experience by providing a light, safe, and efficient mode of transportation.

Three dedicated paths have been designated for electric scooter use: the Muzdalifah - Mina path, the pedestrian road path for the Jamarat facility - west, and the pedestrian road path entering the Jamarat facility - east.

Each path spans approximately 1.2 kilometres in length and 25 meters in width, offering ample space for safe travel.

With a maximum speed of about 15 kilometres per hour, the electric scooters are easy to use and time-efficient, making them an ideal option for pilgrims. This advanced, economical, and luxurious transportation solution ensures both safety and speed, significantly improving the overall Haj experience.

The Saudi Ministry of Health branch in the Madinah region also launched the Smart Robot service on Saturday in the Central Area near the Prophet's Mosque.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the branch as saying that the service aims to present and broadcast educational messages, guidance, and health instructions for the safety and awareness of pilgrims in over 96 languages from around the world.

Meanwhile, the volunteer and awareness teams of the Health Ministry branch of Madinah continue their fieldwork with 220 male and female volunteers and over 12 teams working around the clock to serve the guests of Allah.

They provide health and emergency services during the Haj season at the Prophet's Mosque and its access roads, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and Haramain Train Station, as well as the mosques of Quba, Khandaq, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, and Miqat Dhul-Hulaifah.

Haj to start June 14

Saudi Arabia said the Haj will start on June 14 after astronomical observatories spotted the crescent moon Thursday evening, signalling the beginning of the month in which the annual pilgrimage falls.

The Supreme Court determined that Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th and final month of the Islamic calendar, would begin on Friday, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

The Haj is one of the five pillars of Islam and must be undertaken at least once by all Muslims with the means.

Trains that can travel at incredible speeds

In the 1980s, developing high-speed and high-capacity railways became a priority in Europe and Asia. Since then, hundreds of billions of dollars have been invested into creating new railways that offer travel at once unthinkable speeds.

The 10 fastest trains in the world

In addition, travelling by train is one of the greener ways to get around and also saves you the inconvenience of having to go to the airport and deal with long security lines. Join us as we take a look at the top ten fastest trains in the world.

10) Haramain High-Speed Railway: 300 kph/186 mph (Saudi Arabia)

When you think of Saudi Arabia, you may not immediately think of high-speed trains, but the Haramain High-Speed Railway (HHR) is the fastest way to travel between Mecca and Medina. The trains on the HHR reach top speeds of 300 km per hour (186 mph), making the journey between the two cities a speedy one that can be completed in just two hours, whereas by road, the trip can take 10 hours. 

Spanish built trains adapted to the desert

The country imported Spanish-built Talgo trains but modified them for the harsh desert conditions, allowing them to function in extreme temperatures of up to 50ºC (122ºF). The trains can hold up to 417 passengers, which makes the train particularly useful during Hajj when over two million people flock to the city's holy sites.

9) KTX-I High-Speed Railway: 305 kph/190 mph (South Korea)

In 2004 South Korea made expanding its network of high-speed trains a priority, and with the help of the French TGV technology, it now has an impressive network of high-speed railways. The KTX-I trains makes the journey from Seoul-Busan a speedy one, reaching speeds of up to 305 km per hour (190mph) means that travellers can now make the journey in half the time - a four-hour trip now takes a bit over two hours.

However, South Korea has continued to develop high-speed railway technology, and it is now in the exclusive club with France, Japan, and China, as proud owners of trains that can run at speeds over 420 km per hour (260.4mph). The new HEMU-430X prototype reached the mind-blowing seed of 421.4 km per hour in 2013.

8) Trenitalia ETR1000: 360 kph/223.6 mph (Italy)

Italian State Railways' Frecciarossa, or the "Red Arrow" in English, are a series of high-speed trains introduced in 2017. The Red Arrow trains can reach the impressive maximum speed of 400 km per hour (250mph) and boast 10,000 horsepower in output.

However, the top speed with passengers on board is 360 km per hour (223.6mph), although, for commercial schedules, the trains are only allowed to run up to 300 km per hour (186mph). Red Arrow offers trips throughout Italy, making travel between major cities far quicker. 

7) AVE S-103: 310 kph/193 mph (Spain)

France helped Spain to join the ranks of countries offering transportation in high-speed trains in 1992 with its TGV technology. Spain is now owner of the most extended network of long-distance lines in Europe, with dedicated high-speed trains travelling from Madrid to Seville, Malaga, Valencia, Galicia and Barcelona. 

Spain's Velaro trains set a world record

The AVE (Alta Velocidad España) operates at a commercial speed of 310 km per hour (193 mph) and has made commuting between Barcelona and Madrid much easier. However, the fastest high-speed trains in Spain are the S-102 Talgo and S-103 "Velaro" trains. The S-103 reaches a maximum speed of 350 km per hour (217mph), and in July of 2006, it set a world record for an unmodified commercial passenger train when it reached the impressive speed of 404 km per hour (251mph). 

6) 'Al Boraq': 320 kph/198.5 mph (Morocco)

Morocco is proud to have Africa's first and only high-speed railway: Al Boraq. The trains link Tangier with Casablanca and can reach the impressive speed of 320 km per hour (198.5 mph).

The trains are built in France using the same technology as France's TGV Euroduplex double-deck electric trains. Thanks to this French technology, travellers can cut their travel time in half on the 137km (85 miles) trip between Rabat and Casablanca, spending just 2 hours and 10 minutes aboard the train as opposed to the 4 hours and 45 minutes the journey takes on a traditional train. 

5) JR East E5 -- 320 kph/198.5 mph (Japan)

The world owes Japan for introducing the concept of a new era of high-speed trains in 1964. Japan is a well-respected leader in the world of high-speed railways regarding speed, capacity, and safety. The fastest trains in Japan are the E5 Bullet Trains on the Tohoku Shinkansen railway, travelling north of Tokyo to Shin-Aomori at 320 km per hour (200mph). 

Japanese passengers enjoy a smooth ride

The trains can reach the incredible speed of 320 km thanks to the 12,900 horsepower that the engines boast, the result of 32 induction motors. The E5 Bullet offers one of the smoothest rides out there thanks to active suspension, resulting from the lightweight aluminum alloy construction, which means curves are easily handled even at very high speeds. 

4) TGV: 320 kph/198.5 mph (France)

The French train company TGV runs trains between Paris, Eastern France, London, and Southern Germany. Trains run up to 320 km per hour on several of these routes. France has earned global recognition for pioneering high-speed rail technology.

In April of 2007, TGV set a world record in speed when a train reached an operating speed of 574.8 km per hour (357mph). TGV has sold their technology to other countries such as Spain, Italy, Morocco, the United States, South Korea, and Taiwan over the course of the past 30 years. 

3) ICE3: 330 kph/205 mph (Germany)

Germans are known for their speed and efficiency, so it is no surprise that the world's third fastest train can be found in this country. The InterCity Express, also known as ICE, is Germany's world-famous train brand that covers a large variety of routes. ICE3 is the fastest train run by the company hitting speeds of up to 330 km per hour (205mph). The journey from Cologne to Frankfurt usually takes two and a half hours and can be completed in just one hour and two minutes on ICE3.

ICE3 has 16 electric motors

ICE3 trains can travel so fast thanks to sixteen electric motors, which give the trains an impressive 11,000 horsepower. The fleet of ICE3 trains operates throughout Germany and even includes international routes to cities such as Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. 

2) CR400 'Fuxing': 350 kph/217 mph (China)

The CR400 "Fuxing" trains run at a commercial maximum of 350 km per hour (217 mph) and have even reached test speeds of 420 km (260 mph) per hour! The trains were developed based on technology used in high-speed trains in Europe and Japan.

A "smart" train

These speedy trains can hold up to 1,200 passengers and can be up to 16 cars long. Passengers will enjoy some pretty cool features while travelling too. Such as smart glass displays, in-seat entertainment, and "smart cabins." The speediest of the CR400 trains are currently used on the prime Beijing-Shanghai-Hong Kong and Beijing-Harbin routes.

1) Shanghai Maglev: 460 kph/286 mph (China)

The Shanghai Maglev is the world's fastest train and the only passenger train in the world that uses magnetic levitation (Maglev). Maglev trains are based on German technology, which allows the trains to travel on an elevated track using super-powerful magnets, which makes for a very smooth ride.

A 30km journey is completed in just 7 and 1/2 minutes!

This train travels between Pudong airport and Longyan Road station in downtown Shanghai. And with a top commercial speed of 460 km per hour, the 30-kilometre journey is completed in just seven minutes and 30 seconds!

Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has called on all Muslims across the Kingdom to participate in the sighting of the crescent moon of the Arabic month Dhu Al Hijjah on Thursday evening,.

The court urged individuals capable of observing the crescent moon, whether with the naked eye or through binoculars to approach the nearest court and provide their testimony.

They are requested to register their testimony or contact the nearest centre to help him reach the nearest court.

A cruise line has canceled more visits to its private resort due to violence in the country and a new U.S. travel alert.

Royal Caribbean first suspended stops at its private resort in Labadee, Haiti in March. The suspension will now last through at least fall, the cruise line confirmed to USA Today.

“The safety and security of our guests, crew, and communities we visit are our top priority,” a spokesperson for the cruise line told USA Today. “Our Global Security and Intel Team is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Haiti, and in an abundance of caution we have suspended all visits to Labadee fleetwide through September 2024.”

Royal Caribbean will continue to “monitor and reassess calls as needed,” the spokesperson said.

Haiti is currently under a Level 4 “Do Not Visit” advisory, the highest warning from the U.S. State Department, due to gang violence and riots. According to the United Nations, more than 2,500 people were killed or injured as a result of gang violence in Haiti in the first quarter of the year. Earlier this month, Dave and Natalie Lloyd, missionaries from Missouri who were working with youth in the country, were attacked and fatally shot by gang members as they were leaving a church service.

In its latest alert, the State Department said the security situation is Haiti is “unpredictable and dangerous” and any travel there should be “conducted at your own risk.”

“The U.S. government cannot guarantee your safety traveling to airports, borders or during any onward travel” the alert said. “You should consider your personal security situation before traveling anywhere in Haiti. Only attempt to depart Haiti or travel within Haiti if you believe it is safe for you to do so.”

Among the risks cited were violent crimes, including kidnapping for ransom.
