For the smooth sailing of your adventure, we need a copy of your passport and visa page at least one week before the trip date. Keep in mind that on the day of the trip, your original passport is the key to crossing the border.

For Tourist/Visit Visa Holders:

Tourists, we've got you covered too! Passport copies are a must, submitted three days before the trip. And don't forget to bring the original passport on the day of the tour to make those border crossings a breeze.

Note for Little Explorers (Below 3 Years):

Good news for our tiny travelers! Children below 3 years old get to join the Musandam Dibba Tour for free. However, they still need the same documents as the adults for permit processing.

6. Best time to visit Musandam

Since the entire tour of Musandam is completely an outdoor experience, we would suggest you visit this place during the winter season in the Middle east. Ideally, the right time to visit Musandam is between the months of October and March since these are the winter months in this part of the world. Between April and September, you will find the weather to be quite hot. The water bodies will be warm and not comfortable enough for diving. In January and February, Musandam gets a bout of showers which makes the place the two coolest months to visit Oman. However, if you are affable to warm weather and like to travel to places when they are less crowded, then March would be the ideal time to visit Musandam. You will also find cheaper deals on hotels during the month of March.

We sent a message to this tour company at the last moment to check if there is a half-day private dhow cruise tour available in the Oman Fjords. Their representative was fast with his response & he accommodated us immediately! When we came at the cruise terminal, he was there to even receive us.

Things to Know Before Traveling to Khasab

• To enter Oman, you will need an entry visit visa, which costs 5 OMR per passport. Additionally, when leaving the UAE, you must pay an exit fee of 35 AED.
• One way to get the visa is to apply online via https://evisa.rop.gov.om/, and the other is to get it at the border. You must, however, check if you are eligible or not based on your nationality and visa type.
• The validity period of the passport for UAE residents must be at least three months from the date of the tour in order to be granted a visa at the border. Furthermore, remember to carry your original passport with you, which is a prerequisite to entering Oman as a tourist.
• If you plan to drive, it is essential to have a driver’s license to obtain insurance at the border unless it is already covered. For a rental vehicle, carry an NOC issued by the company to enter Oman. Keep all of these things in mind to ensure a hassle-free trip to Khasab Musandam.

This was a nice, relaxing, slow sunset, and dolphin cruise. The captain and first mate were super personable........ the first mate told us what type of birds and wildlife we should be looking for that were common in the area. we did see the pink spoon bill bird but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture... we also saw numerous other types of birds, and we did see dolphin! The sunset was beautiful and afterword step inside of Snoopy, and have some great appetizers and beverages!!!

Made reservations two days ago and trip was cancelled three hours before. Went out and bought nonresident fishings licenses. Money was refunded but fishing license money was not.

Great family experience! The dolphins and sunset were spectacular. The boat was clean and the crew was great. BYOB too. Highly recommend!

Loved our cruise! We did a 6pm sunset/dolphin cruise. Captain and first mate were so friendly and competent. They allowed both my kids to drive the boat. We saw birds, fish, a beautiful sunset and lots of dolphins! It was an amazing and smooth ride. The bathroom was very clean as well. Very enjoyable experience!

What a great little cruise! It's not guaranteed that you'll see dolphins cause none of us control them obviously but we lucked out and got to see them! Even if we hadn't, it was a great 1.5 hour outing! Our 2-man crew was awesome! We also got to see some birds (e.g., pelicans, cranes, spoonbills, etc) from a distance, the sunset, and a storm developing. Totally worth it!

We had a wonderful time. The sunset was beautiful and there were a large amount of Dolphins playing in the area. The host was funny, informative and super friendly. I plan on bringing my parents when they are in town.

Best cruise ever. The deck hands were all very friendly and helpful. If ever in Cabo...gotta check them out

When I spoke with them on the phone they talked about the dolphin. I was told there was a lot of dolphin. We would see them and interact with them. The speaker on the boat was broken. I would not recommend this.
