T he Tourism Management Department aims to enhance students its learnings and develop their skills and confidence in dealing with guests. Part of the program was the On-the-job training which was held this Summer, and this was the first ever OJT held this school year 2016-2017, though it only operates as new program, yet students had fun and had an opportunity to experience a real world setting of working in a Tourism Industry. Students were assigned in Department of Tourism, Eden Nature Park, Davao Doctors Hospital, Travel Advantage in Davao City.

BS in International Travel and Tourism Management specialized in Aviation Services
BS International Travel and Tourism Management with specialization in Tour Operations and Hotel Services is a three-year degree program preparing students to become multiculturally diverse individuals equipped with knowledge and skills of standards and work-based values ready to brave the global tourism, travel, and hospitality workforce. Students are highly engaged to multiple facets of learning, in travel and tour operations, hotel services, airline operations, events management, tourism planning and development, destination branding and tourism marketing, and business planning and research. Thus, the program does not only let them unlock opportunities to become professional leaders but rather mold them to become enterprising people bringing success to every organization and valuable contributors for the betterment of society

Program Educational Objectives
Three to five years after graduation, the International Travel and Tourism Management alumni shall have: 1. Demonstrated and interpreted holistic competencies of local and international tourism and hospitality industry including relevant data, products, services, technology, policies, and applicable laws geared toward nationalism and global competitiveness. 2. Applied innovative management and entrepreneurial functions utilizing business analytics in service-oriented business organizations performing crisis and risk mitigation activities following proficient use of communication channels. 3. Demonstrated competencies in the arrangement, delivery, promotions, operations and management of tour and travel related activities and businesses. 4. Assessed impacts of tourism activities and designed mitigation, adhering to identified requirements and sustainable practices of tourism destination planning, management and promotions.

Foreign Students with Scholastic Records from a Foreign School
- Five (5) copies of the Student’s Personal History Statement (PHS) containing, among others, his/her left and right thumb-prints and a 2” x 2” photograph on plain white background taken not more than six months prior to submission
- Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) located in the student-applicant’s country of origin or legal residence
- Notarized Affidavit of Support including bank statements or notarized grant for institutional scholars
- Photocopy of the student’s passport showing date and place of birth and birth certificate or its equivalent duly authenticated by the PFSP
Student Visa and Special Study Permit (SSP) from the Bureau of Immigration shall not be required of the spouses and unmarried dependent children below 21 years old of aliens under the following categories:

The BS Information Systems Program includes the study of application and effect of Information technology to organizations, Graduates of the program should be able to implement an information system, which considers complex technological and organizational factors affecting it. These include components, tools, techniques, strategies methodologies, etc.
Graduates are able to help an organization determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can be used as strategic tool to achieve a competitive advantage. As a result. IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical and management/users communities within an organization. This enables them to ensure that the organization has the information and systems it needs to support its operations.

The BS Information Technology program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the needs of an organization. The program prepares graduates to address various user needs involving the selection, development, application, integration, and management of computing technologies within an organization.

The BS Agro-Forestry program is a multi-dimensional learning program designed to provide professionals with general competencies in the science, art, and business of managing and using trees and other woody perennials, agricultural crops and/or animals, and the soil-related ecosystem in the same unit of land, either zonally, mixed simultaneously, or sequentially for the twin purpose of conservation and socio-economic productivity.
The BS Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program is designed to prepare well-rounded fisheries professionals with competencies in the principles and practice of fisheries science. It concentrates on sustainable aquaculture, capture fisheries post-harvest and aquatic resources and ecology. The graduates can contribute better to sustainable and responsible fisheries and total approach to fresh water and marine coastal management.
The BS Food Technology program focuses on a mix of pure and applied science, engineering, business, and entrepreneurial skills. It aims to produce professionals who have the capacity to apply science and technology and related fields of study in post-harvest handling preparation, processing, packaging, storage distribution, and marketing of food to ensure food and nutrition security, safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
The BS Marine Biology program is a four-year program that aims to develop graduates that will have a clear recognition and understanding of the dynamics of the marine life and its ecosystem through actual field/ hands-on experience which will provide the foundations for future careers in marine biology, conservation, oceanography, biomedicine, molecular biology, university teaching, fisheries, etc.

The Bachelor of Arts in Communication is an interdisciplinary program that aims to develop knowledge in communication, media, and cultural studies alongside theoretical and practical skills.
