If you are a music connoisseur like us and want to contribute to a great social cause (because we know you have got a kind heart too), then this is your chance to make a difference. And we promise to keep you entertained.

Introducing the debut edition of the Zomato Feeding India Concert, a concert for a cause to increase awareness and action towards ending issues arising from malnutrition and hunger. And guess who will headline the show? Yes, you are right.

Zomato Feeding India Concert Post Malone

Post Malone , the globally renowned 27-year-old American singer and rapper, will headline the Zomato Feeding India Concert at Mahalaxmi Race Course, in Mumbai on December 10, 2022. Zomato took this surprise announcement on social media and sent the entire Post Malone’s Indian fanbase fans into a frenzy.

“For the very first time in India, here’s presenting our headliner for the debut Zomato Feeding India Concert, POST MALONE! Join us to accelerate our movement towards a hunger-free nation!” Zomato

Fans of the 27-year-old singer Austin Richard Post aka Post Malone couldn’t keep their calm and shared their massive enthusiasm on Twitter and Instagram as it would be the first time that the ‘Circles’ singer will visit the country and yes, we are beyond ecstatic.

post malone tour india

According to the official announcement, the Zomato Feeding India Concert will be an annual awareness event and one of the global “call to action” concerts in the country, with an aim of creating a community movement towards eradicating hunger and malnutrition in India.

It aims to unify distinguished national and international artists, musicians, promising impact makers, philanthropists, acclaimed celebrities, and YOU—the citizens of India—in the collective pursuit to build a hunger-free India, who can make a big difference in supporting the fight against malnutrition. Post Malone will be on board for global representation and will accompany several other notable figures joining the food tech giant in this sustainable movement against hunger. What’s better than harnessing the unifying power of music to bring everyone together and spread awareness?

In 2019, Zomato and Feeding India (Hunger Heroes) joined hands, who’s also the charity partner for the Zomato Feeding India Concert, to eradicate hunger and malnutrition and battle food wastage a notch higher. Lack of awareness is one of the key issues behind the hunger crisis in India, and they’re collectively on a mission to change that. They’re working towards bringing large-scale systemic transformation into the nutrition landscape of India.

Zomato Feeding India Concert Post Malone

Founded in 2014 by Ankit Kawatra and Srishti Jain, Feeding India is an award-winning NGO paving its way to reduce hunger among underprivileged communities in India. It’s working to take big action to solve the complex challenges of food wastage, hunger, and malnutrition in India. “We see this association as an important step against food insecurity, as both organisations share a common dream of ending hunger and food waste—not just in India, but globally,” said Zomato.

All donations pledged during the concert along with profits (if any), would go towards the cause. And with each ticket sold, they promise to serve 10 meals to those in need. While the artists’ lineup and supporting details are yet to be unveiled, Post Malone’s show’s early bird tickets range from Rs 2,999 (silver category) to Rs 7,999 (gold) and go up to Rs 12,999 (platinum) and Rs 19,999 (super fan).

Well, we definitely encourage you to attend the concert, enjoy your musical evening and make a donation, no matter big or small, to a worthwhile cause that will provide food for millions of underprivileged children and adults across the country.

Tickets are already available to purchase on the Zomato app and Book My Show. Click here to grab yours!

Rapper Post Malone arrives in Mumbai for his first India concert later today

American rapper and singer Post Malone arrived at Mumbai airport on Saturday morning for his first ever concert in India.

Post Malone to headline Feeding India concert in Mumbai!

CME

We are just a couple of months shy of 2023 and the major announcements have only just begun.  We already have DGTL Festival, Magnetic Fields and Echoes Of The Earth lined up for December 2022. And 2023 is already shaping up to be a massive year with Vh1 Supersonic making their comeback after a hiatus and Lollapalooza making their India debut in January.

As music lovers this might just turn out to be one of the biggest year and a half with the way things are looking.  So we thought why not add some more excitement to this mega announcement streak.

Post Malone India

With lifestyle and food festivals also becoming more live performance centric – we can expect some pretty interesting lineups this year. As confirmed last month – the king of Beer Pongs & Bentley’s – POST MALONE will be headlining Zomato’s Feeding India concert in Mumbai on the 10th of December 2022 .

Feeding India is Zomato’s non-profit organisation dedicated to eradicating malnutrition and hunger in the country. The concert will take place on 10th December at the Mahalaxmi Race Course.

The American rapper, singer, and songwriter has gained acclaim for blending genres and subgenres of hip hop, pop, R&B, and trap. His stage name was derived from inputting his birth name into a rap name generator. Malone began his music career in 2011 and gained recognition with his 2015 debut single “White Iverson”, which peaked at number 14 on the US  Billboard  Hot 100. Born Austin Richard Post, Post Malone is an American rap artist, singer, and songwriter. He is most recognized for his vocal vibrato, as well as his ability to blend multiple musical genres including hip-hop, pop, R&B, rap, and trap.

At a young age, Malone became interested in the music of Bob Dylan, and he often cites Dylan as one of his biggest musical influences. The heavily tattooed Malone sports a tattoo of Dylan in honor of the musician's profound impact. He also credits Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash, Key!, 50 Cent, and Kanye West as influences.

Malone’s interest in music began early. His father, who worked as a DJ for a time, introduced Malone to many different styles of music while he was growing up. He was inspired to learn the guitar at the age of 14 after watching someone play the video game Guitar Hero. While still in high school, he created a mixtape titled Young and After Them Riches.

Malone's career began in early 2011 and initially gained national attention with the 2015 release of his first single, "White Iverson." The song soared up the charts, climbing to number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100. After the release of "White Iverson," Malone landed a recording contract with Republic Records in 2015.

His first album Stoney debuted in 2016. The RIAA diamond-certified single "Congratulations," featuring Quavo, was included on the album. The song is one of Malone's most successful recordings, setting a record for most weeks on the US Billboard Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums charts.

His sophomore album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, debuted in 2018 at number one on the US Billboard 200 and broke multiple streaming records. The album also contained two number-one hit singles: "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, and "Psycho," featuring Ty Dolla Sign. Beerbongs & Bentleys was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.

His third number-one hit, "Sunflower," with Swae Lee, was the lead single for the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack in 2018. The song also appeared on Malone's third album, Hollywood's Bleeding, which was released in 2019. The album became Malone's second number-one smash. The second single from the album was "Circles," which also reached number one.

The fourth album, Twelve Carat Toothache, dropped in June 2022 and featured two US top-ten singles: "I Like You (A Happier Song)" with Doja Cat and "One Right Now" with The Weeknd.

Malone has won numerous awards, including Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards. Additionally, he's been nominated for nine Grammy Awards. He is among the best-selling contemporary music artists in the US, boasting nearly 80 million record sales.

The documentary Runaway features behind-the-scenes footage from Malone's 2019 Runaway Tour and performances from the tour's New York City and Chicago sets.

Following the release of Twelve Carat Toothache, Malone embarked on a 33-city North American tour to promote the album. Featuring Roddy Ricch, the tour continued through November 2022.

Live reviews

There were two different aspects of the concert. The crowd, and Post Malone himself. I am so disappointed in the everyone around me in the crowd. Over 20 people had to be pulled out because they had passed out because of alcohol, other substances, or being overcrowded or trampled. A boy had to be pulled out because his arm was snapped in half. I was almost pulled out because I felt like my ribs were going to break because of the pressure when people pushed forward. People kept pushing to the front, causing pain to everyone there, and they were rude while they did it. My friend and I lost our other friend and when we texted her she told us that a man tried to take her out of the venue. She needed help but we couldn't reach her. Again, the crowd was absolutely terrible.

Post Malone himself did not come out until 40 minutes after he was supposed to because not everyone was in the venue. Him being late added to the frustration and pain I felt being slammed against the gate and squished between rude concert goers. Once he came on, the pushing and shoving did not cease but he was a great performer. I am glad I did not get pulled out. Although it was extremely painful he performed beautifully and it was 100% worth the pain.

I love Post Malone. Sadly his fans were such awful people we had to leave before he even came on. People were being crushed during the concert, people were passing out left and right and many people could barely breath. The fans were complete assholes about it to. People were shoving their way to the front (with people in the back already pushing you in so you can't back up) when there is absolutely no room to do so and then when you call them out and tell them there is no room they need to go back to the back they yell at you, cuss you out and then make fun of you. I personally saw at least 5 people pass out and as we left in disgust of the crowds behavior in the middle of the show we saw two ambulances in the back alley behind the venue helping several people who needed medical attention. I saw another review of his concert saying the same things. They even mentioned a guy broke his arm from being crushed and trampled. No matter how much I love Post Malone I wouldn't attend another of his concerts even if it were free.

I seen him yesterday 6/31/15 in Boston. I had front row stance. I was leaning on the sliver bench, any who. He was an amazing preformer. He gave us a great show hands down. Interactive with the crowd, dancing, usage of the whole stage ect.

My down side unfortunately is that we spent more time waiting for him to preform than actually seeing him preform. As a fan, I expected the show not to last too long seeing as he is a blooming artist and all his songs got leaked, we knew what songs to expect. (He did forget to preform 'Holyfield') Back to the point, all in all, 3 hours wait for less than an hr performance. Not to mention a point in time we asked security to please move to the side so we can see he just shrugged his shoulders. I understand he has a job to do but we also paid to see post Malone and not the back of his shirt.

Again, I loved his performance all in all. Can't wait til he's performing for thousands in a venues that's not a church lol

The show itself was fantastic, but the venue was not that great. There was paid parking which was cheapest at 40 dollars. Leaving the venue was chaos as the streets were blocked off and traffic was at a standstill for a solid hour and a half (not exaggerating). Then there was the usual stuff with small restrooms (plus portapotties) and overpriced water down alcohol (20 for a small drink and 5 for water). I would not recommend this venue to anyone (Lakewood amp Cellairis). This is my second show at this venue and it seems to have gone downhill rapidly over a few years due to greed.

Venue aside this was a great performance by 21 Savage and Post Malone (I missed the opener due to issues of finding parking somewhere that wasn’t extremely overpriced).

It was the best experience i've ever had. The show started with a dj after a short time a upcommimg star came. He made the fans go off. After an hour of performing, there was a break. Everyone was exited for Post Malone, but an other rapper came up. There wasnt much people who were excited to see him and the crowd has lost all patience. We wanted to see Post Malone!

So half an hour of just chillimg, the lights turned off. We heard the start of "Broken Whsikey Glass" and every one flipped out.

The man himself, Post Malone came out. I was so happy i had to jump. All of his songs were good but there were even better when its live performed. I will never forget this event and im happy that this was my very first comcert.

Amazing performer. I didn't know what to expect since this was the first time I went to one of his concerts. I went for 21 savage but I knew some of his songs and I was excited. I can say that at the end of the concert he was MUCh more entertaining than 21. He was charismatic but calm. He had this happy and serious feeling and it was so chill but hype at the same time. it felt really personal when he pointed out people in the crowd, sang songs to us and performed his heart out. I definitely want to see him again now that I'm more familiar and know more of his songs.

Hello Austin, I just want to say that Chaz & I truly enjoyed getting to see your show and visit with you afterwards. Miles have kept us apart and from getting to knowing each other better, but see that your musical ventures in your life have created a very young talented and unique individual in its own right. I have watched you grow into the person you are today and hope you continue to strive in our journey to the top. Chaz and I would love to see you again when you are in the area...and God Bless!! Love, your Aunt Kim and Cousin Chaz.

It was probably one of the best nights of my life. He was so enthusiastic about the crowd, he loved our energy, said he wanted us to come on tour with him haha. But seriously I had an amazing time, I sat front row so I got to see my hero literally right in front of me AND he told me he loved me (which I got on record) as well as at the end of the concert he jumped off the railing into the crowd and I got to hug him, so yeah I’d say it was a pretty memorable night, I definitely know I’m gonna go to another one of his concerts again .

honey-rose-1’s profile image

While Post didn't disappoint, he probably didn't excite as much as he should. His set, although filled with great tracks, was a tad short for my liking. His on stage presence felt a little boring at times, and failed to really make much of a connection with the crowd at all. It just felt like he wanted to play his songs and get the hell out.

Not a bad show, but also given how much people were spending to see this guy, you'd figure'd there be something more. Maybe he's just tired though, which in that case, I wish him some rest.

dankhank21’s profile image

The show was incredible!! Everything was lit and pumped got the crowd hyped and engaging!! Every single person who preformed was great and Posty was AMAZING live wow!

However, the pauses in between the artists really killed the vibe!! Next time don’t have too long pauses inbetween people will just have to wait to go to the bathrooms/buy drinks. Or at least make sure something is entertaining meanwhile (just having a DJ playing or the cool light show or something)

Armaan Malik on Ed Sheeran, Post Malone performing in India: ‘This shows how big the market of India has become’

Singer armaan malik talks about the growing live music scene in india with several international acts, and how homegrown artists are taking advantage..

From Imagine Dragons to Rema to Backstreet Boys to Post Malone, the year is turning out to be a great one for music lovers with global stars making a pit stop in the country, and plugging in their music. And singer Armaan Malik feels it is a reflection of people accepting that India is a huge market to explore.

Armaan Malik recently performed at Dehradun as part of Royal Stag Boombox live gig

In fact, he feels the live music scene has made a comeback in India in a stronger avatar after the pandemic, revealing he has had the busiest show calendar in the last few months.

“It’s been the busiest show calendar for me for the past few months, I’ve never done so many shows back-to-back. I’m really glad that the scene has opened up so much that there are so many events and so many shows happening across the country. And so many more headline tours are happening, which is something an artist really looks forward to,” Malik tells us.

The 27-year-old continues, “I did my debut India tour last year. And being in the scene for almost 14-15 years, you would have thought I would have done at least four or five India tours by now but my first one was last year. And that shows how much the Indian scene was slacking behind and now in the last few years has caught up and becomes such an explosive industry”.

Here, Malik, known for singing in Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Malayalam and Kannada, picks the surge in international acts in India as an example.

“Firstly, not only for Indian artists only, but also for international acts who have come here in the last three or four years and made their presence felt for the fans here. We’ve seen the likes of Ed Sheeran; we’ve seen the likes of Justin Bieber (who was scheduled to come) and Post Malone. This shows how big the market of India has become. And while that is happening, homegrown artists like us are also getting,” he says.

“Backing in stadiums, backing in arenas and not just doing club shows, not just doing college shows, or the usual private wedding gigs that everyone does in our country. The fact that a fan is paying a certain amount to buy a ticket to go to their favourite Indian artists show.

That has happened in the last three years and I couldn’t be prouder of the Indian music scene,” added the singer, who recently performed a live show in Dehradun.

Opening up about the need to perform in smaller cities, he says, “I think smaller cities have even more love than the major cities. Considering not a lot of concerts happen in these cities. The fans here are craving for their favourite music artists, waiting to listen to them live”.

“I never performed a concert in Dehradun before… The excitement of seeing something for the very first time, that’s something no one can ever describe,” he ends.

Elon Musk confirms India visit, will meet PM Modi

Elon Musk confirms India visit, will meet PM Modi

In a post on social media platform X on Wednesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirming reports of a planned visit to India and that he is looking forward to meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Looking forward to meeting with Prime Minister @NarendraModi in India!” Mr Musk posted on the microblogging platform, which is also owned by him, on Wednesday.

The Tesla CEO did not, however, provide an estimated time of the visit.

The billionaire was expected to travel to India later this month and declare his intention to invest there and establish a new plant.

Musk, who also founded SpaceX, called himself a “fan” after meeting Prime Minister Modi in the US in June last year.

The CEO of the electric vehicle manufacturer has stated, “I am confident Tesla will be in India and will do so as soon as humanly possible.”

Less than a month ago, India unveiled a new electric car policy aimed at “attracting investments by reputed global manufacturers” that would reduce taxes by up to 85% on the import of a specific number of EVs. This announcement coincides with the billionaire’s arrival.

The policy allows companies which establish passenger electric car manufacturing facilities to import a certain quantity of automobiles at a lower customs or import charge of 15% on vehicles costing at least $35,000 (roughly ₹ 29 lakh) for a term of five years.

It gives EV manufacturers three years to establish production facilities in India and mandates that they invest a minimum of ₹ 4,150 crore ($500 million). Within five years, achieving 50% domestic value addition is the other essential condition. According to the localization provision, 25% must be reached by the end of the third year.

According to media reports, Tesla representatives are anticipated to travel to India in April to look for potential locations for a manufacturing factory that would need to be funded with approximately $2 billion.
