HARDY Announces Dates For ‘QUIT!!’ Headlining Tour

HARDY is kicking of 2024 in a bug way! Kicking down the door on his next chapter of music, Big Loud Records / Big Loud Rock heavy-hitter returns today with  “QUIT!!,”  an autobiographical and referential spoken word track that recaps his journey to becoming “Nashville’s nü-metal king” ( Los Angeles Times ). Calling back to his infamous 2022 ACM Honors speech accepting his first-ever ACM  Songwriter of the Year  award, HARDY’s “QUIT!!” continues to push the boundaries wide on his bombastic, genre-less, and wide-reaching appeal.  SPIN  puts it simply: “For HARDY, a rock-loving country star, shocking his audience in this way is exactly the point.”

“Thank you for inspiring me to be great,” HARDY says. “I guess sometimes holding a grudge is a good thing.”

It’s been a busy year for Michael Wilson Hardy, known professionally as singer/songwriter HARDY. From releasing his second studio album The Mockingbird & the Crow to just recently wrapping up an ultra-successful 2023 tour with the likes of Lainey Wilson and Dylan Marlowe, HARDY is only getting started. The country music artist is set to perform in a number of different North American shows throughout 2024, with more tour dates expected to be announced in the coming months.

The first stop on HARDY’s 2024 tour will be on February 7 in Scottsdale, AZ at Coors Light Birds Nest. Pending any new tour date announcements, his last date for the year will be on August 17 in Calgary, Alberta at Country Thunder Alberta.

HARDY just recently closed his 2023 tour and hasn’t said much on social media about his 2024 tour, but the singer/songwriter was recently interviewed by Maxim Mower for Holler Magazine. In the interview, he noted that 2024 will be even busier than 2023 in terms of new music and touring. “Next year I’m gonna be putting out a lot of music… the next record is going to be the best and the coolest thing I think I’ve done so far,” said HARDY , “Trust me, the title-track off the next record is gonna be the coolest thing I’ve done so far. I guarantee it.”

Jason Aldean Announces 2021 ‘Back In The Saddle’ Tour Featuring Hardy & Lainey Wilson

Back in the saddle, eh?

As we start to approach the summer, a number of artists are beginning to announce full blown tours coming this fall.

We saw artists like Kenny Chesney, Reba, and a handful of festivals announce cancellations, but on the other hand, artists like Eric Church , Kip Moore, Dierks Bentley and more, have announced big tours (with some impressive openers) as well.

The latest? Jason Aldean.

And like everybody else in music right now, he can’t wait to get back on the road. Kicking off this August in Virginia Beach, he’ll be taking Hardy and Lainey Wilson along for the ride.

“It’s been emotional being back on stage with my band for the first time in a year this weekend.

It’s made us all even more ready to get back to life as we all know it. being on the road makes all of us – the band, the crew and me – happy and i haven’t felt this excited about going on tour in 15 years.”.

Hardy announces spring 2023 headlining tour dates.

Sixteen date cross country run launches Feb 16th

Big Loud noisemaker Hardy is on the verge of his biggest year yet, unveiling The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour, a 16-date headline run presented by Live Nation launching February 16, 2023, in Indianapolis.

Joined by country chart-topper Jameson Rodgers and rock newcomers Blame My Youth for the trek, the thoughtfully curated lineup is an extension of Hardy’s just-announced sophomore record of the same name. Melding together sets from an upstart country star, a hard-charged rock act, and a headliner known for gut punching live sets, fans are in for three hours of inexhaustible energy and electric, first-rate live music, including a headlining performance at the 2023 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam with Morgan Wallen and Miranda Lambert.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be able to bring this record to you next year. Touring it is something I’ve been thinking about since we started the recording process,” Hardy says. “This album is my best work so far. I truly believe that, and I want this tour to reflect that every night. Excited to have my buddies Blame My Youth and Jameson out with me; it’s going to be crazy.”

Tickets for the trek are widely available this Friday, October 14th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster , with exclusive fan pre-sales starting tomorrow (Wed, Oct 12th) and launching throughout the week.

This December, the country-rocker will embark on his sold out, nine stop headline Wall to Wall Tour with Jackson Dean serving as support and a one-night-only appearance from rockers Puddle of Mudd.

The Mockingbird & The Crow is due January 20th via Big Loud Records featuring a mix of country and rock across the album’s 17 tracks. The singer/songwriter masterfully hones the sounds and themes of both the influences he grew up listening to and the life he grew up living on an album unlike anything our format has seen before, including collaborations with Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wallen.

HARDY Plans 2024 Tour Dates: Ticket Presale Code & On-Sale Info

HARDY announced 2024 tour dates.

Billed with a nod to his track "Quit!!" that incorporates spoken word and heavy metal, new concerts are planned at major venues across North America from May into July. The opening acts on select dates of the Quit!! Tour will be Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley, and / or Stephen Wilson Jr. HARDY also has festival performances on his calendar.

When do HARDY 2024 tour tickets go on sale and what is the presale code?

The general public on-sale begins as early as January 19. Presales for HARDY fan club members begin January 16. Artist, Live Nation, LN Mobile App., Ticketmaster, TikTok, and local venues / radio presales will follow. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.

NASHVILLE, TENN.  –  Morgan Wallen  admittedly treats his tours like an athlete approaching a new season, so when the East Tennessean wrapped his wildly successful 55-city Dangerous Tour   on Oct. 8, no one expected he’d come with a line-up of more shows this soon. Yet, the ACM  Milestone Award  Winner and only country artist nominated for  Pollstar ‘s Major Tour of the Year  award revealed this morning he’s not only expanding the size of the venues he’s playing, he’s traveling around the globe to see his fans in 2023!

Morgan Wallen’s   One Night At A Time World Tour , produced by Live Nation in North America and Frontier Touring for Australia/New Zealand, kicks off overseas  March 15-24  with shows in New Zealand and Australia with  HARDY  before returning stateside on  April 15  at Milwaukee’s American Family Field with HARDY, hitting New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park with  Parker McCollum , before wrapping on  Oct. 7  at Tacoma Dome in Washington.  ERNEST  and  Bailey Zimmerman  will support across all dates, U.S. and internationally. Thirty-nine dates in total with 17 stadiums, amphitheaters, and arenas to boot.  Tickets on sale at  MorganWallen.com  beginning Friday, Dec. 9.

Wallen named his tour after one of three new songs dropping tonight at midnight on his  One Thing At A Time – Sampler : “One Thing At A Time”; “Tennessee Fan,” paying homage to Wallen’s East Tennessee upbringing; and “Days That End In Why.” Together, these three songs serve as the first taste of what’s to come from his time in the studio and arrive on the heels of his new single at country radio, “ Thought You Should Know ,” cowritten with  Miranda Lambert  and  Nicolle Galyon , currently sitting Top 20 as his latest No. 1 “You Proof” returns to the top of the charts for a rare sixth, non-consecutive weeks atop the Country Airplay chart.

“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour. I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the  Dangerous  album the way they did,” Wallen shares. “I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. As one of the biggest artists in the world with  Dangerous  continuing to notch historical chart status as  Billboard’s  longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist  (eclipsing Adele’s  21  and Bruce Springsteen’s  Born In The USA ), the 2022  American Music Awards ‘  Favorite Male Artist  and  Favorite Country Song  winner adds, “Also, I’m not quite done making this new album, so I’m going to keep making it through the holiday break and early January to chase this inspiration. Wallen’s 2022 Dangerous Tour spanned over 50 shows and broke records in 30 venues across the country during its 8-month-long run. Highlights include his historic Globe Life Field show, which became the fastest sellout in the venue’s history and surpassed attendance records previously held by artists such as Elton John and Lady Gaga, and holding fastest historical sellouts at 11 venues, while simultaneously breaking attendance records with stops at XFINITY Theatre, AmericanBank Center and Darien Lake Amphitheater.

As on his Dangerous Tour ,  $3 of every ticket sold for U.S. dates benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation which funds causes close to his heart and, to-date, has supported organizations such as  Greater Good Music  by donating over 500,000 meals-and-counting, to  Children Are People , the  Salvation Army  and  National Museum of African American Music .

Hardy Announces Quit! Tour With Kip Moore, Travis Denning + More

Hardy  revealed a fiery new song and a spring / summer tour on Friday (Jan. 12). The " Truck Bed " singer will begin his Quit! Tour in May.

• Kip Moore , Travis Denning , Ella Langley and Stephen Wilson Jr. will split shows in an opening role.
• The 15-date tour takes him up and down the East Coast, with a few dates in the Midwest.
• Tickets go on sale on Jan. 19 at 10AM.

The new tour's name stems from a just-released song called "Quit!" Hardy tells his story throughout the rising, rap-rock track, beginning with the time someone wrote "Quit" on a napkin and stuffed it in his tip jar.

Over the next two-and-a-half minutes, he recalls getting his first taste of success on Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen records. He also assures fans he won't change his style of music-making for anyone.

"And when it comes to the king / That's the radio / If you don't like my s--t / Don't play it / I don't give a f--k / I'm a still book arenas and fill 'em up," he sings.

A press release promises Hardy will include more new music while on tour this year, and the release of "Quit!" suggests he's working on more new music beyond his upcoming Hixtape Vol. 3 release, scheduled for March 29. That album is going to tribute Joe Diffie and feature collaborations with artists including  Post Malone .

HARDY Announces Fall 2023 Arena Tour With Lainey Wilson

HARDY has unveiled his first ever arena tour, which is due to kick off in August, and will take the prolific singer-songwriter across states such as Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, Georgia, Illinois and more.

HARDY will conclude the eagerly anticipated run of dates in his home-state of Mississippi on December 9.

It'll be supported by Dylan Marlowe and HARDY's ‘wait in the truck’ collaborator, Lainey Wilson .

The news comes shortly after HARDY teased the Fall arena tour in a light-hearted video posted across his socials.

The video, filmed on HARDY's bus, follows the ‘SOLD OUT’ hitmaker's amusing selection process as he attempts to find a couple of opening acts for the upcoming tour.

After calling up Marlowe immediately and securing his spot on the tour, HARDY then runs through a list of high-profile artists in his phone-book.

He asks Brantley Gilbert, but then hilariously thinks twice and decides to look for a ‘bigger’ name, much to Gilbert's bemusement.

HARDY does the same for Thomas Rhett and Dierks Bentley, the latter of which rings off with a playful “Screw you” once he's told that, on second thought, he's not actually been chosen to support HARDY.

It's a tongue-in-cheek video starring an array of HARDY's closest pals and collaborators, with HARDY eventually settling on Lainey Wilson as his second supporting artist.

Fans will be excited to see the duo heading out on the road together, with HARDY and Lainey Wilson having previously put on a number of electrifying live performances together.

Earlier in the year, HARDY and Lainey teamed up for a powerful rendition of their hit collaboration, ‘wait in the truck’, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .

Although the country-rock maverick only recently released his new album, the mockingbird & THE CROW , some suspect he'll have released the third instalment of his hugely popular Hixtape series by the time his arena tour kicks off.

Speaking to Holler in January, HARDY delighted fans by revealing that Hixtape Vol. 3 was on the way.

The country-rock maverick also confirmed to Holler that the next instalment of the popular series would be “something completely different”.

HARDY is currently in the middle of his SOLD OUT headlining dates, and is due to join up with Morgan Wallen on the US leg of his blockbuster world tour , which starts later this month.

2024 Valero Texas Open prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

The 22-year-old won the 2024 Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio after a playoff against Denny McCarthy on Sunday to claim his second PGA Tour victory. His first win at last year’s 2023 Barracuda Championship also came via a playoff. For his efforts, Bhatia will take home the top prize of $1,656,000. Despite coming up short in the playoff, McCarthy still cleared seven figures and banked $1,002,800 for a hefty consolation prize.

“Listen, I didn’t realize I never had my own tour,” says a smiling Elliott, holding her tiny Yorkie, named Fendi, dressed in Gucci. “The last real tour that I went on — like, consistent days — was with Beyoncé and Alicia (Keys).”

That was in 2004.

Call it long overdue, but the timing is ideal. Over the last few years, Elliott — the forward-seeking artist — has been recognized for her talents as a musician, producer, songwriter and beyond.

In 2019, she became the first female rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2021, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, her hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia, named a boulevard after her. Last year, she became the first female hip-hop artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“Getting those accolades, I feel like I’ve finally made it,” Elliott says. “It feels amazing. I feel so blessed.”

“What we’re seeing now is kind of the rest of the world catching up,” says Mona Scott-Young, Elliott’s longtime manager and co-producer of the tour. “She’s always been ahead.”

In his green room, Busta Rhymes tells the AP that a tour had never come up in conversation across his decades of friendship and collaboration with Elliott. (He’s the intro and outro voice on her canonical debut album, 1997’s “Supa Dupa Fly.” They’ve long since been inseparable.)

“She doesn’t really tour and she doesn’t perform often. I just kind of understood my sister — the unspoken thing,” he says. “You knew that if she decided to do this, go to the place where she was actually ready to tour, the s— was going to be crazy because one thing Missy never did was play with her production. And you saw that in everything she did, from her shows to her videos.”

He continued: “Missy will turn down $10 million to do a show. … She’s super in control of her destiny in that way, and without compromise, is what made her super incredibly great. You can’t do nothing but love her for that. She’s a true artist in the purest form of the word.”

And make no mistake, this isn’t a nostalgia tour.

“We are in the best spaces in our lives, individually and collectively, we’re at the most experienced spaces in our lives,” Rhymes says. “We’re no longer Daniel-san. We’re now all Mr. Miyagi senseis. You know what I’m saying? We’re all at our perfection levels of what we’ve been doing and building together as a collective family for 30 years.”

Elliott echoed the sentiment.

“The lineup feels something special,” says Elliott. “It’s family. It’s not put together.”

On set, the trio are styled by longtime collaborator June Ambrose — all-black looks, like if the Avengers were impeccably dressed and made up of R&B and hip-hop legends. They take photos as a group and individually.

After her solo photo shoot, Ciara starts to tear up.

“When I was a little girl, a little artist coming up, and you would ask me, ‘Who inspires you?’ I would infuse a combination of people: Michael Jackson and Prince and I would say Missy Elliott. She’s one of the best performers of all time,” she said.

“She means a lot to me as an artist but also as a person, as a sister. She’s always someone I can call for the truth, and she’s got to keep it real with me. She’s someone I can call and cry to if I need to.”

But ask her if there will be any on-stage collaborations — Elliott wrote and was featured on Ciara’s huge hit “1, 2 Step”; Ciara’s on Elliott’s “Lose Control” — she laughs. “Missy’s very particular. I don’t want to ruin any surprises,” she says. “I think from beginning to end, people will be on their feet. All of us have a lot of energetic records.”

“Somebody’s gonna die!” Rhymes jokes.

“And come back to life,” Ciara cuts in.

“Let’s keep it positive,” Rhymes laughs. “Someone is gonna die and come back to life.”

Later, Elliott offers a hint at what fans can expect from the show. “It’s an experience, it’s not just you seeing the artist on the stage,” she says. “I want people to travel to those moments, those (music) videos, I want you to relive it on stage. It is most definitely a lot of good, good stuff. Expensive stuff!”

The “Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience” kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 4 at Rogers Arena and concludes in Rosemont, Illinois, at Allstate Arena on Aug. 22.

It will hit Seattle; Oakland, California; Los Angeles; Las Vegas; Denver; Austin, Texas; Houston; Fort Worth, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Sunrise, Florida; Atlanta; Baltimore; Hampton, Virginia; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; Newark, New Jersey; Boston; Brooklyn, New York; Detroit; Montreal and Toronto.

The tour is produced by Young’s Monami Entertainment and Live Nation. Presale begins tomorrow, and tickets will become available to the general public on Friday.
