50 Cruise Songs for a Magical Voyage

Looking for some great Cruise Songs to help you get in the mood for your upcoming voyage ? If so, take a look at my Disney Cruise Playlist . 

For each Disney Cruise sailing , I like to create a special playlist of songs that will help my family get in the mood as we drive to the port . After the trip, my husband also incorporates these songs in our personal home videos.

It’s been very rewarding because now, when the kids hear these songs on the radio, they will say they remind them of our cruise .

Disney Cruise Line holds a special place in the hearts of many Guests. A Disney Cruise experience is one like no other, and once you’ve sailed with Disney Cruise Line, you’ll understand what we mean by that.

We’re talking next-level Guest service, exquisite Disney dining experiences, unlimited fun, and ultimate magic. This is all whilst having the opportunity to see the world, explore new places and experience new cultures.

We mustn’t forget the incredibly beautiful ships that you will get to sail on too. Whether you’re sailing on the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, or Disney Fantasy, there is no better feeling than seeing your ship at a Port. We’d argue that the Disney ships trump any other cruise ship when it comes to design, looks, and wow-factor!

If you’ve not yet had the chance to experience a Disney Cruise , then it’s likely to be near the top of your Disney bucket list. Maybe, you even have your first Disney Cruise date set? If so, then we have all of the songs that you will need to create a playlist to help you get into the Disney Cruise frame of mind!

Aboard the Disney Cruise Line Ships

Most of our favorite tracks from around the Disney Ships come from the Cabanas soundtrack. You can’t help but feel uplifted by the tracks played on the outside seating area whilst eating the delicious buffet offerings from Cabanas. You can imagine feeling the sea breeze through your hair overlooking the ocean. Holiday vibes right there! Of course, there are also some other favorites from around the ships that we’ve included below too; including those from dance parties , Pirate Night, and the pool area on top deck!

• Disney Magic – add the Tangled (2010) soundtrack to your playlist ahead of being able to experience the stunning stage show, adapted for Disney Cruise Line. You’ll also have the chance to dine in Rapunzel’s Royal Table too.

• Disney Wonder & Disney Fantasy – be sure to add a selection of your favorite tracks from Frozen (2013) and Frozen 2 (2019) to your playlist. A stage adaptation of Frozen is currently showing on the Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy ships.
• Disney Dream – a stage adaptation of the 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast is shown on board. Why not add some of your favorite tracks from the live-action film, or the original animated classic, to your playlist?
• Disney Wish – if you’re lucky enough to have a cruise booked on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, then you’ll want to add tracks from The Little Mermaid (1989) to your playlist. An original Broadway-style stage adaptation is being created exclusively for the Disney Wish.

Castaway Cay

The music loop from Castaway Cay is perfect for creating those island vibes! Every single song helps to add to the perfect setting of Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. Crystal clear waters sparkle in the bright sunshine and gently lap up the white-sanded beach that is lined with tall palm trees. We can’t help but sing along to these tracks, whether we’re lucky enough to be living our best island lives or are stuck at home, dreaming of island days once more!

Hey guys, does anybody know what the lists of music the Disney Magic plays on its sound system throughout the day? There's a song that I want to know about. It's a mello, soft song, similar to Faith Hill's "Where Are You Christmas" but it's about dreams or something. The singer even sounds like Faith Hill, but I'm not sure and I don't know the words. I could hum the tune, but don't see how that would work. It could also be Kellie Coffey, but I don't know. Anybody? Oh, and the song also played when we were disembarking.  

There is a song called "Remember the Magic" that is played very upbeat at the Disney Parks, but played very mellow and low key on one of the Disney CD's. I do not have the CD with me but will look up the singer...it is male though. Our hearts could just take wings, we could live out all our dreams..the journey there is never far away...and like a dream come true, it's still inside of you.....Remember the nights, remember the Magic...remember the moments in your life... The lyrics go something like that...makes me cry everytime I hear it!! I believe I have heard a female sing it on the Magic on one of the soundtracks you hear up on deck. MJ

Hey guys, thanks for trying, but that's not the song I'm looking for. It's a female singer that sounds like Faith Hill...soft song, Disney-like, but it might not be, but then again, all the songs that played were Disney. Anybody have any clue about what I'm talking about?

Disney Wish: A Sampling of Her Musical Horns

The Disney Wish played a few of her musical horns as she departed Bremerhaven on Thursday. Unimedien ship horns shared the following video where you can hear the Disney Wish play the following tunes:

• A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (twice)
• Be Our Guest, Be Our Guest, Put Our Service to the Test
• Hi-Diddle-Dee (An Actors Life For Me)
• it’s a small world after all
• Yo Ho, Yo Ho (A Pirates Life For Me)

These are likely just a sample from the catalog of horns the Disney Wish will play as there are a few from the Dream-class that were not included in Thursday’s sail away such as Do You Want To Build A Snowman? (Frozen), Star Wars Main Title Theme, Imperial March, When You Wish Upon A Star – Makes No Difference Who You Are (Full). There was also that one horn we heard while the Disney Wish was in Eemshaven, but we don’t talk about that one .

Disney Brings Back Happily Ever After Singer For New Disney Cruise Line Song

When it comes to songs that are created for the Disney Parks, Disney fans cherish each note with all their heart as the music has the ability to instantly create and pull in magic, no matter where you are.

Whether you are listening to the music from your favorite Disney parade like Paint the Night, or throwing it back to the Wishes soundtrack from the old Magic Kingdom firework show, each song has one thing in common, and that is that magic of Disney. The music is inherently different than anything you would hear on the radio or in a musical, and it is as if Disney Park music has carved its own little niche genre in the music category.

One song that had and still has the ability to move Guests to tears is “Happily Ever After”. “Happily Ever After” accompanies the nighttime fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, which Disney Enchantment has just taken over. The show ran for a few short years beginning in 2017 and lost a year during its run due to the pandemic putting a halt to the fireworks. The song performed by Jordan Fisher & Angie Keilhauer is deeply beloved and has caused deep sorrow for many who are saddened that they can no longer hear the music while in Magic Kingdom.

Well, Happily Ever After may be over, by Jordan Fisher has not given up when it comes to creating the next big Disney song that will have us all wanting to put on some Mickey ears and look at the castle. As we have discussed, Disney Cruise Line’s “Magic Meets the Sea” float will soon debut in the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and now, a special song will accompany it. As noted by Disney Park Blog:

Disney Channel and Broadway star, Jordan Fisher, will be stepping on board our “ship” to delight viewers with an incredible performance of an original Disney Cruise Line song titled, “Together We Set Sail.” This performance will be a celebration of togetherness and belonging because “no matter who you are or where you’re from” everyone is welcome on board the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It seems that this new song will be the first Disney Cruise Line-specific song, which will give DCL Guests the same feeling that Disney Park Guests get when they see a cavalcade, parade, or show pass by. Fisher has become a staple in the Disney community, and it is no surprise to hear that he has returned to make more magical music that will surely have us weeping and inspired in no time.

Remember the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC-TV on November 25 from 9 a.m. to noon in all time zones.

I've taken 4 Disney cruises without kids. Here's why they're actually the perfect adults-only getaway.

• Out of the 15 cruises I've been on, Disney Cruise Line is my favorite company to travel with.
• Disney cruises offer the perfect getaway for adults without children.
• From animation classes and private islands to Broadway-style shows, I never run out of things to do.

After taking over 15 cruises on most of the major lines , one stands out as my favorite company to travel with — Disney Cruise Line. Disney cruises combine what I love about the theme parks with relaxation and stellar dining, making them the perfect getaway.

I also love that Disney continues to invest in its cruise line. For example, the company's newest ship, Disney Treasure , plans to embark on its maiden voyage in December.

And next year, Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure will set sail for the first time. The company also invested between $250 million and $400 million in a new island in the Bahamas, which I was lucky enough to visit.

Although some may think of Disney Cruise Line as a company that caters to kids, I've had an incredible time on adults-only vacations with my sister, mother, friends, and husband. Here's why I think Disney cruises are the perfect choice for travelers without children.

I’m never bored on a Disney ship.

On most of the cruises I've been on, the main activities include eating and drinking. However, that's not the case on Disney cruises.

In addition to having great pools, Disney ships are known for having a wide variety of activities throughout the day. My favorites include trivia, mixology classes, panel discussions with Disney animators, and animation classes.

The food is by far the best I’ve had at sea, and I’ll always splurge on the specialty restaurants.

Food plays a big role in determining where I vacation, and I've had some of the most incredible meals on board Disney ships. In addition to the food, the restaurants are well-themed and detailed. While there are plenty of elevated eats, there are also casual bites, like pizza, and Disney favorites, including Mickey waffles.

While the main dining rooms are delicious — and included with the cruise fare — I'll always splurge on one of the specialty restaurants that charge an additional fee.

These upcharge restaurants offer a more intimate experience with super personalized service and a greater variety of dining options. My favorite is Palo, which is open for both brunch and dinner. Here, I've enjoyed fresh pasta, standout wine, and high-quality wagyu.

I love the themed bars, and the drinks are surprisingly affordable.

While Disney doesn't offer a drink package that includes cocktails, the well-themed bars are worth the splurge.

From a Star Wars-themed watering hole to a Peter Pan-themed speakeasy, I really enjoy the inventive cocktail programs and immersive settings. Each bar also has its own unique themed drinks, which keeps things exciting.

As a regular at Disney World, I was also surprised to find that drinks are much more affordable on a Disney Cruise, with prices consistent across the ships I've been on.

For example, my favorite Dole Whip spiked with rum was $9 on board, compared to the exact same version priced at $14 at Disney World .

There are plenty of adults-only spaces.

While I tend to spend much of my day at the lively main pool, which features Disney movies and live entertainment, there are also plenty of adults-only spaces, including pool areas exclusive to guests 18 and older.

Some ships even have bar districts with multiple venues exclusive to adults.

The rooms are spacious and practical.

I've found the rooms on Disney cruises to be the most spacious — and practical in design — I've encountered.

Most rooms on Disney ships also have a split bathroom, which means the toilet area is separate from the shower. This is a vacation lifesaver when multiple adults are trying to get ready at once.

There are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy Disney Magic.

I love Disney ships because, from dressing up for pirate night to meeting my favorite characters, there are plenty of opportunities to feel like a kid again.

The shows on board are Broadway-quality.

I'm a sucker for live entertainment, and each Disney ship offers at least one Broadway-style production. From "Frozen" to "Beauty and the Beast," I always make sure to check out these high-quality musicals, which are included in the price of the cruise.

Disney’s private islands are very relaxing.

I've been to several cruise-line private islands, but Disney's are by far my favorite. Castaway Cay , located in the Bahamas, exudes relaxation. The island is home to one of my favorite activities, the Castaway 5k, which is included in the cruise fare and allows participants to earn an exclusive race medal.

Disney's newest island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is located near the southern tip of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. The beaches here blew me away and were some of the best I've experienced after dozens of trips to the Caribbean and Mexico.

Disney Cruise Line is the perfect adults-only vacation, and I can't wait to plan another trip.

As a big fan of the parks, Disney Cruise Line takes those magical elements and upgrades them at sea with incredible food, live entertainment, and relaxation — making for the perfect adults-only vacation.

Its ships are home to some of the most exciting, highly themed lounge options I've encountered, and I love the Broadway-quality productions. While on board, I'm able to do as much or as little as I want.

Disney world | central florida under heat advisory monday with 112-degree ‘feels-like’ temps forecast, things to do, theme parks, disney world, disney world | epcot’s eat to beat concerts 2024 include archuleta, yellowcard, wanted.

The announced schedule is primarily Fridays through Mondays, though Disney says more acts will be revealed later. Most artists have two-night gigs at the theme park’s America Gardens Theatre, although Hanson is on stage for four nights in late October.

The Eat to the Beat lineup for 2024, subject to change, includes:

Sept. 1-2: Sugar Ray

Sept. 6-7: Hoobastank

Sept. 8-9: Yellowcard (New to festival)

Sept. 13-14: Tiffany

Sept. 15-16: MercyMe

Sept. 20-21: Sheila E

Sept. 22-23: The Wanted (New to festival)

Sept. 27: Luis Figueroa

Sept. 28-29: Mau Y Ricky (New to festival)

Sept. 30: Jesse & Joy (New to festival)

Oct. 4-5: Aloe Blacc (New to festival)

Oct. 6-7: Joey Fatone & Friends

Oct. 11-12: We the Kings

Oct. 13-14: Switchfoot

Oct. 18-19: David Archuleta (New to festival)

Oct. 20-21: Billy Ocean

Oct. 25-28: Hanson

Concerts are held at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. nightly, and they are included with regular Epcot admission.

Global marketplaces and menus for the festival, which runs from Aug. 29 through Nov. 23, have not yet been revealed.
