Harry Styles Added So Many New Love On Tour Dates

This man does not rest.

It seems like Harry Styles’ Love On Tour may just live on forever. On Aug. 26, the “Late Night Talking” star announced 19 new dates to the tour’s already extensive 2023 roster. These new additions largely take place in Europe with brief pop-ups in North and South America.

It’s another impressive slate of shows for Styles, who has barely stopped touring since kicking off the concert series in September 2021. Currently, Styles is rockin’ his signature feather boa while dodging thrown chicken nuggets (Yes, you read that right) at New York’s Madison Square Garden for his 15-night residency through Sept. 21 before heading to Austin; Chicago; and Inglewood, California for additional extended stays. After this, well, he’ll continue touring. Talk about being booked and busy.

The newly announced dates include stops in cities across the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and Spain. The performer also extended his time in already scheduled locations like Austin, Chicago, and São Paulo. Finally, Harry set a venue upgrade for his Peru show on Nov. 29. It will now take place at Estadio Nacional, which holds up to 43,000 seats.

That’s not the only exciting news, either. The “Cinema” singer also revealed that dates for shows in Asia will be announced soon. Who are the opening acts on Styles’ Love On Tour?

Madi Diaz opened for his two Toronto shows in August 2022, while English singer Blood Orange has served as the opening act for his New York residency since Aug. 20. In September, jazz-powered trio Gabriels will open for the singer’s following shows in Austin. For his October stint in Chicago, R&B crooner Jessie Ware will be his supporting act, while singer Ben Harper will round out as an opener for his stops in Los Angeles through November.

Singer-songwriter Koffee will tour with Harry in South America in November and December.

Once Harry heads to Europe in February of next year, British indie rock duo Wet Leg will support Styles on all the European dates. Rock band, Inhaler , will then join Styles and Wet Leg on the June 10 show in Slane, Ireland.

Harry Styles' setlist for his concerts across the UK and Europe has been released.

Harry’s hit As It Was was 2022’s official biggest song before he then went on to secure the Official Charts double as his album Harry’s House simultaneously hit number one. As well as topping the charts, he has also brought out his own beauty range ‘Pleasing’ which combines skincare and makeup with a selection of nail polishes and two skincare products with a skin-enhancing finish.

Harry will begin the Europe leg of his tour this Thursday, June 1 in Paris before returning to the UK on June 13 in London. Isle of Wight band Wet Leg are joining Harry on tour and performing as the support act each night.

When he’s not hanging out at the Hampstead Heath ponds or snogging supermodels, Harry Styles is usually off touring the world. With a rainbow and glitter-soaked bonanza ‘Love on Tour’ finally kicked off in London last night, as Hazza performed the first of four massive shows at Wembley Stadium, with support from Wet Leg. 

What time will Harry Styles come on stage?

Doors open to Wembley Stadium as early as 4pm. Harry’s support act, Wet Leg, have been taking to the stage at around 7.20pm, with Hazza hitting the stage at around 8.30pm.

In 2022, NME gave ‘Love on Tour’ five stars, calling it a ‘powerful, inclusive and celebratory pop carnival’. The second time around, it's just as spectacular. Critics have lauded Harry Styles's heartwarming show, not only for the star's magnetic performance, but for the unique energy of the crowd that Styles manages to cultivate. 

With a show featuring the  ‘world's kindest mosh pot’  The Evening Standard called Love on Tour at Wembley ‘joyful and life-affirming’, while the Daily Express said the concert was ‘a masterclass in modern pop’, adding that ‘Harry Styles is the popstar of a generation’. 

Are there any tickets left?

This won’t come as a shock to anyone, but demand for Harry Styles tickets was extremely high.  However, there are still some available on Ticketmaster (at the time of writing), with the best dates being Tuesday June 13 and Friday June 16.

It’s not cheap though, prices start at £51 for obstructed view and go up to £226 for platinum tickets.

Love On Tour is the second headlining tour by Harry Styles , launched in support of his second studio album, Fine Line . After being postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour began on September 4, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada, consisting of 39 announced dates in total. It became one of the first full capacity indoor arena concerts to happen in the United States after the pandemic. He announced a part two of LOT (Love On Tour), which began on May 13, 2023 in Horsens, Denmark. He added an extra show the next day, since they moved to a smaller venue after the tragic incident in Fields. Consisting of seven legs and 169 shows, Love On Tour ended on July 22, 2023 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Harry had to cancel/postpone all concerts twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He finally got back out there on September 4, 2021 in Las Vegas.

Harry unfortunately didn't get to play at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 3, 2022 because there was a terrible shooting in the mall next door, where many of his fans had chosen to hang out before the concert.

With an impressive setlist , K-pop star IU started her HEREH World Tour 2024 in the United States. The K-pop queen performed several evergreen tracks, including her 2021 release, “Celebrity,” and more.

IU kickstarted her HEREH World Tour in the U.S. on July 15 at Newark’s Prudential Center. The 31-year-old singer will perform at four more U.S. venues this month. After the success of her 2022 The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun tour, fans cannot wait to see what is in store for them in the forthcoming concerts.

Bob Dylan’s Stunning ‘Outlaw’ Tour Set List: A Song by Song Guide

The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has generated much attention due to Willie Nelson’s extended absence from the first two weeks of shows due to illness, Lukas Nelson stepping in for his father with occasional help from guests like Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, and Edie Brickell, the triumphant return of Willie on July 4, and the weird Bob Dylan shirt sold every night at the merch stand.

The changes in the show aren’t limited to the song selections. Drummer Jerry Pentecost left the band and was replaced by Dylan’s gospel-era bandmate Jim Keltner. Pedal steel guitarist Donnie Heron also left the band after an 18-year stint. What remains is a lean quartet of Keltner, bassist Tony Garnier, and guitarists Bob Britt and Doug Lancio. They’re hitting large outdoor amphitheaters packed with Willie Nelson fans, and playing with a joy and abandon not felt at Dylan concerts in years. 

The opening night set in Alpharetta, Georgia, was completely unique and especially wild, but it quickly coalesced into a 15-song show he’s been repeating every evening. 4. “Little Queenie” (1959, Chuck Berry) Dylan’s love of Chuck Berry goes back to childhood, and over the years he’s honored him by playing “No Money Down,” “Nadine,” “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Johnny B. Goode,” and “Around and Around.” But he didn’t attempt “Little Queenie” until the kickoff of the Outlaw Tour. It’s a chance for Lancio and Britt to trot out their best Berry riffs, and an opportunity for Dylan to party like it’s his senior year of high school. (This is now one of the few covers that both Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones have in their live repertoire.)

5. “Mr. Blue” (1959, the Fleetwoods) In the early days of the Basement Tapes sessions, Dylan and the Band laid down a truncated version of “Mr. Blue” by doo-wop act the Fleetwoods. It would be another 57 years before Dylan revisited “Mr. Blue” on the opening night of the Outlaw tour. It’s a tender rendition where Dylan has little accompaniment from his band until the first chorus hits. The song was Number One for a single week in November 1959 when it managed to briefly topple Bobby Darin’s “Mack the Knife” from the top spot. Dylan returning to it in 1967 and again in 2024 is yet more evidence that the music we love at 18 stays with us forever. 

7. “Can’t Wait” (1997) We’re back to Time Out of Mind at this point for “Can’t Wait,” which hadn’t been played since 2019 prior to this tour. Every tiny bit of Daniel Lanois has been sucked from this one, and we’re left with Dylan slowly playing it on the piano, delivering the words almost spoken-word style. Accompaniment from the band is kept to a bare minimum. The result is remarkably stark and powerful. 

8. “Under The Red Sky” (1990) Few people knew it at the time, but Bob Dylan had an infant daughter, Desiree Gabrielle Dennis-Dylan, when he created Under the Red Sky . It explains why the album was dedicated to “Gabby Goo Goo,” and why so many of the songs seem like nursery rhymes. The title track is about a little boy and a little girl that wind up baked together in a pie, and it hadn’t been played live since 2013. 

9. “Things Have Changed” (2000) Dylan won an Oscar for this song from the 2000 Curtis Hanson movie The Wonder Boys , and it’s been a staple of his live show ever since. They’ve worked up a bluesier, guitar-driven arrangement for this tour that’s hard to even spot as “Things Have Changed” until the vocals start. He wrote the song from the perspective of the Michael Douglas character in the film, but it’s become a theme song to many during the insanity of the past decade or so: “People are crazy and times are strange/I’m locked in tight, I’m out of range/I used to care, but things have changed.”

11. “Six Days on the Road” (1963, Earl Green/Carl Montgomery) The very month that Bob Dylan dropped The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan in 1963, country singer Dave Dudley landed a massive country hit with the trucker anthem “Six Days on the Road.” Over the years, it’s been covered by everyone from Jim Croce and Michael Nesmith to Steve Earle and Tom Petty’s band Mudcrutch. Dylan played the song on his Theme Time Radio Hour SiriusXM show, but there’s no record of him performing it prior to this tour. Debuting it while out on the road with Willie Nelson makes a lot of sense: It has a strong outlaw country vibe.

12. “Soon After Midnight” (2012) On the actual 2012 Tempest tour, as opposed to the slightly fictional one advertised on the bizarre t-shirt available at the Outlaw merch stand, the Tempest ballad “Soon After Midnight” was performed at just two of 33 shows. It became a Never Ending Tour staple after that with over 480 live performances. Think about that. In that time, he hasn’t done “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “The Times They Are A-Changin’,” “I Shall Be Released,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” or “Forever Young” even once. And we get “Soon After Midnight” over 480 times. His complete and total disregard for what most audience members want to hear, especially at a show packed with casual fans like this one, is laudable and extremely rare. So, if you want to hear an oldie, punch it up on Spotify.

15. “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight” (1967) We go from sad memories of a lost romance to a sweet love song from John Wesley Harding to wrap up the set. It’s an unusual arrangement that starts with Dylan unaccompanied at the piano before it kicks into a rave-up, and then slows backs down and gets bluesy at the end. “Kick your shooooes off,” Dylan sings. Have no feaaaarrr/Bring that boootle/Overheeeere/I’ll be…I’ll be your baby toniiiiiiight.” It’s a great showcase for the band, and the perfect way to close out one of the best (and most unexpected) live sets Dylan has delivered in many years.

New Jersey woman celebrates 269th time seeing Rolling Stones at Thunder Ridge concert

It wasn't Sandy Stern's first rodeo. Taking a seat in the 12th row back from the stage, she dropped her clear bag on the loose gravel, checked her watch, surrounded by several concert wristbands, and layered up a hotdog with her favorite toppings. This was, in all ways possible, her element.

A New Jersey native, Stern was one of thousands who drove through the Ozarks hills to watch as one of the most iconic rock 'n roll bands in history took to a North American stage for (maybe) the last time. The Rolling Stones closed out the band's Hackney Diamonds Tour at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale — Johnny Morris' latest outdoor venture — on Sunday night. The band performed 20 songs in two hours under the full moon.

While it was her first time in the Ozarks, Sunday wasn't Stern's first time seeing the Stones. In fact, the tour-concluding performance at Thunder Ridge was her 269th time seeing the band.

Stern's trip to Ridgedale also signaled the conclusion of a two-week trip. She caught the tail end of the Stones' tour, seeing them at two SoFi Stadium concerts in Los Angeles on July 10 and 13 and at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, near San Francisco, on July 17. Following the Ridgedale concert, she planned to rest up before hopping on a plane back to New Jersey on Tuesday.

Though she enjoys being in the pit, Stern said with age, she's more likely to purchase a seated ticket as close to the stage as she can for the chance to sit during the set. For the Ridgedale concert, Stern said she paid about $800 for her aisle seat near the stage's peninsula, jutting out into the crowd.

Wielding two digital point-and-shoot cameras — one for still photos and the other for video, Stern recounted her first time seeing the Stones. It was a daytime show on Sept. 26, 1981 at the John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Stern attended the concert with her two brothers, sharing seats in the nosebleed section.

"We took turns going to the front ... when it was my turn to go up to the front, it was a sunny day, they played 'Beast of Burden,' I felt like a lightning bolt hit me," Stern recounted. "I was in my element, outside, listening to great music on a sunny day, and I've never been the same."

Over the past 43 years, Stern has admired the Stones from countless venues, even traveling internationally to cheer them on. The furthest she's traveled was to Istanbul, Turkey on Sept. 19, 1998. The band played the Ali Sami Yen Stadium.

Asked if she's met any members of the band, Stern gave a side-eyed smirk. Of course she has. She met Jagger in the '80s and the late drummer Charlie Watts around the same time, she said. In fact, she met Watts for a second time at that concert in Istanbul. Stern said each of the band members are "down to earth, just like you'd think."

What made the Hackney Diamonds Tour so special, Stern said, was its correlation with the Stones' new album of the same name. Released in October 2023, "Hackney Diamonds" was the band's first original album since 2016, when it released "Blue & Lonesome."

On why she decided to travel to the Ozarks for the Sunday concert, Stern said it was not only because it was the last show of the tour but because of Thunder Ridge's size. Thunder Ridge seats about 18,000 people, a considerably smaller venue than others the Stones have performed in this year. Most of the other venues have seated upwards of 60,000.

Speaking with the News-Leader ahead of the concert, Stern was hopeful that the band would break out a song she hadn't heard live before for the final, more intimate show. The band, however, stuck with the same setlist they've performed all year.

Stern wasn't the only fan in attendance who traveled from the East Coast and has attended more than 200 Stones shows. While speaking with the News-Leader, Stern got a tap on the shoulder from fellow fan and friend Marilou Regan, a Philadelphia native and author of "Love You Live, Rolling Stones: Fanfare from the Common Fan." The tribute book, published in 2002, features more than 80 stories from Stones fans, including Stern.

Cousins reconnect over love for The Rolling Stones

While some fans, like Stern, enjoyed the show solo, others made the concert a bonding experience.

Leaning against a wooden fence outside of the venue's entrance, cousins Jason Hernandez and Mitch Hunter sipped on their beers before making the way to their seats. Hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, the two flew into the Ozarks on Saturday.

"The cool thing is, Mitch and I, I wouldn't say we were estranged, but we all had our lives together going different ... upon the unfortunate occasion of his father's death about 15 years ago, we connected again and realized we both love The Rolling Stones," Hernandez said. "Essentially, we're closer than brothers at this point."

Hernandez said he'd seen the Stones in concert about 20 times and Hunter remembered seeing the Stones for the first time at Rupp Arena in Lexington on June 29, 1978. The two purchased tickets in the pit but did not want to share how much they paid for them.

The Stones concert was the third big event held at Thunder Ridge this year, following Morgan Wallen on May 25 and Chris Stapleton on June 13. The venue has been closed and under renovation for the past two years. The venue held its first series of concerts in fall 2022, when country musician Garth Brooks performed three back-to-back sold out shows that strained the capacity of the fledgling venue.

The concerts gained nationwide attention, with social media posts showed hours-long lines of traffic, issues with parking and inadequate features for concertgoers with disabilities. Some ticketholders were  unable to experience the concert altogether.

Renovations over the past two years have worked to solve these issues, including the expansion of U.S. Highway 86 from two to four lanes, expansion of the guest parking lot by about 36% and addition of more ADA pathways, seating and dedicated parking.

When asked to describe their experience with traffic getting into the venue on Sunday, Hernandez and Hunter said "it was fine."

"We can't complain," Hernandez added. "We're coming to see The Rolling Stones."

How was traffic getting into, leaving Thunder Ridge?

A News-Leader reporter and photographer left Springfield at around 6 p.m. Sunday, anticipating heavy traffic closer to Ridgedale. About four miles from the venue, on U.S. Highway 65, traffic was near a standstill in the right lane. A map app indicated the remainder of the short drive would take about one hour.

In an attempt to avoid traffic, News-Leader staff drove further south on Highway 65, turning around at the Rapid Roberts at 295 Laurel Road. Northbound traffic moved quickly and the News-Leader was able to turn onto Highway 86 in less than 10 minutes. At least four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers helped guide traffic at the intersection of Highway 65 and Highway 86 around 7 p.m.

News-Leader staff received parking passes to VIP premium Lot 7, which is accessible through a private VIP road off Highway 86, ahead of the concert. The private, two-lane roadway was secluded and provided a back entrance to the venue.

Several premium parking lots, including Lot 7, were full by the time the News-Leader's staff arrived at 7:30 p.m. Reporting staff parked in Lots 6 and 9 instead, which are both within a five-minute walk to the venue's main entrance.

When it came time to leave the venue, the News-Leader's reporter began to moving from floor seating to the premium parking lots around 11:50 p.m., once the Stones completed the encore set. The few staircases that lead from the venue floor to the upper deck were congested as fans jostled to leave but staff were back to their vehicles by 12:10 a.m., on Highway 86 by 12:15 a.m. and back in Springfield by 1 a.m. The experience of concertgoers without access to premium VIP parking was likely different.

Avoiding concert traffic on a bicycle

Sixty-four-year-old Chris Smola took a different approach arriving to the venue. He rode his bicycle from Springfield, where he lives, to the venue in Ridgedale. Smola said he left Springfield around 11:30 a.m. and arrived at the venue at 7 p.m. The ride is about 64 miles on bicycle.

Despite the long journey, Smola didn't even have a ticket to the concert when he started out on his bicycle Sunday morning. He decided to test faith, which proved to work in his favor. He purchased a ticket on the upper hill.

Smola told the News-Leader that he had seen the Stones perform six or seven times, with his first concert in 1978.

"My older brothers had their early albums on the walls, so I grew up with the Beatles, Stones, so on," Smola said. "They're like modern miracles."
