Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour 2020 - Saturday 21 November
The Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour, takes place between 10am-4pm on Saturday 21 November . Tickets are $75 per person and include FREE entry to the Friday night event. The event launch occurs on the evening of Friday 20 November with an exhibition from emerging student artists in the Great Hall, including the annual Student Art Awards, as well as "live art" by Finn Wilson and Jake Feast which will be auctioned during the evening. Click here to purchase tickets to the Friday night event ONLY. Tickets to the Friday night are $30 per person or $55 for two including complimentary food and an initial drink. A cash bar will be available on the night.

Should a Government decision regarding COVID-19 force the cancellation of this event, the Foundation will look to reschedule the Art House Tour for early 2021. However, if at that time the event still cannot proceed then all tickets are sold on the basis that proceeds will be used to meet any contractual event expenses and then donated to the Academic Endowment Fund.

Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour 2020
Saturday 21 November sees the return of the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour. This unique event offers ticketholders the opportunity to tour eight of Auckland’s finest homes and gardens all within the Grammar community, while at the same time viewing a wide selection of art for sale.
The event launch occurs on the evening of Friday 20 November with an exhibition from emerging student artists in the Great Hall, including the annual Student Art Awards and a live auction of an iconic work from one of the country’s leading artists. The main event, the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour, takes place between 10am-4pm on Saturday 21 November.
The Art House Tour provides event goers with a gallery viewing experience in some of Auckland’s most beautiful homes. Each home carefully curated to display selection of art from a number of artists and each piece of work available to purchase on the day. Funds raised go towards the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Academic Endowment Fund to assist the School to recruit, reward and retain the very best teachers.

Art can be viewed at each home on the Tour between 10am-4pm on Saturday 23 November
Art can be purchased at each Art House Tour home with credit card or EFTPOS. EFTPOS facilities will be available at each home
If you purchase a piece of art, please collect your artwork on Saturday 23 November, between 4pm–5pm. Please make sure you present your receipt for the artwork when you collect it
If you cannot collect your artwork between 4pm-5pm, please phone Events and Office Administrator Susan McFetridge on 021 704 467
If any sold artwork is not collected and we have not heard from you at the number listed above, the piece will be held until Monday 25 November. After this it will be kindly donated back to Auckland Grammar School and displayed in the Great Hall. All sales are final upon payment
There will be multiple student photographers present on the Tour. By purchasing your ticket, you agree to be photographed which may be used for future marketing and/or promotional purposes
Should any adverse event force the cancellation of the 2024 Art House Tour, it will then be our intention to reschedule this event and as such you will remain a registered attendee in our system. We will be in touch with you directly if this situation should arise
- If we are unable to reschedule the Tour for any reason, then a proportion of your ticket cost will be used to offset all costs the Foundation Trust is unable to recover due to cancellation. The remaining funds will be reimbursed to you unless you choose to donate the full ticket price back to the Trust.
Note: Artwork for sale is clearly labelled with buyers cards. All other artwork belongs to the homeowners and is not for sale. Some artists are in more than one house.

The Art House Tour, in association with Barfoot & Thompson, is set to delight audiences with a number of award winning local and international artists exhibiting alongside Auckland Grammar Schools emerging young artists.
The event launch occurs on the evening of Friday 20 November with an exhibition from emerging student artists in the Great Hall, including the annual Student Art Awards and a live auction of an iconic work from one of the country’s leading artists. The main event, the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Art House Tour, takes place between 10am-4pm on Saturday 21 November.
The Art House Tour provides event goers with a gallery viewing experience in some of Auckland’s most beautiful homes. Each home carefully curated to display the works of 4-5 individual artists and each piece of work available to purchase on the day. Funds raised go towards the Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Academic Endowment Fund to assist the School to recruit, reward and retain the very best teachers.

Ticket prices for the Art House Tour on Saturday 21 November are $75 per person and include free entry to the Friday night event. Tickets for the Friday event only, are $30 per person or $55 for two including complimentary food and an initial drink.
Throughout the tour “The Gallery” a dedicated Art Shop and Café will be open to both tour goers and the general public. The Gallery will be located at the School in the Old Boys’ Pavilion (Gate 4) and offers a range of smaller artworks and gifts for sale.
