Def Leppard in Concert

The world is a confusing place, but there's one resounding truth we can all count on: Def Leppard will rock you. Going strong for more than four decades, the British heavy-metal heavyweights are the world's premier torchbearers of the hard-partying, fist-pumping, ear-splitting hard-rock tradition.

With more than 100 million albums sold, dozens of arena-filling world tours under their spiked belts, and an upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Def Leppard is headbanging as hard as ever — and once again launching themselves into a globe-spanning concert tour.

Def Leppard's longevity is all the more surprising given their debaucherous origins. The band's longest-standing members — singer Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage, and drummer Rick Allen — met as teenage secondary-school students in Sheffield, England. They soon found themselves swept up in the late-1970s wave of British metal that included Iron Maiden and Motorhead.

Year after year, No. 1 album after No. 1 album, they've survived all manner of rockstar antics over the course of their career through luck, fortitude, and good choices. When Allen lost his left arm after crashing his Corvette in 1984, the band never considered replacing him. After joining the band during the recording of 1982's Pyromania, guitarist Phil Collen quit booze, went vegetarian, and began studying martial arts. Today, at 61 years old, he gives a new definition to the term "dad bod" (dude is ripped). The final puzzle piece, Vivian Campbell, signed on after the 1994 death of original guitarist Steve Clark. This current lineup has endured together for a quarter of a century, longer than the entire lifespan of lesser bands.

As seen throughout 2018's 30th-anniversary tour, the members of Def Leppard remain in peak form and the band is a live-performance powerhouse. Summer of 2019 sees them embarking on a tour through Canada, England, and Northern Europe. If you ever needed affirmation about the life-preserving properties of rock 'n' roll, this is it.

The world's most iconic and celebrated rock legends hit the road in the summer of 2020 for a coheadlining tour so massive that it could only be held in America's biggest stadiums. The Stadium Tour featuring Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts hit select cities in the U.S. where each band brings their electrifying stage shows while promising to perform their stadium sized anthems. Def Leppard on Tour 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Def Leppard are one of the most important forces in rock music. In 2019, the icons closed out a sold-out worldwide tour including a North American stadium run & headlining the UK's Download Festival to 90k screaming fans. Def Leppard's star continues to rise and prevail. The band have amassed a staggering 2.5 billion streams since releasing their music digitally in 2018. Def Leppard's influential career crosses generations and includes numerous hit singles and ground-breaking multi-platinum albums—including two of the best-selling albums of all time, Pyromania and Hysteria, both of which are certified Diamond (10x platinum).

/ def leppard stadium tour.

Only the 17th time I have seen Def Leppard live. They absolutely rocked the Alamodome!! The boys’ voices are better now than 37 years ago. I only wish they would perform in Corpus Christi again. But I will make that three hour drive to see them again in San Antonio. There wasn’t a bad seat in the house at the Alamodome and we were in “nosebleed” seats.

Def Leppard still Rocks!

Def Leppard still Rocks it out after all these years! They are spot on all the time! They put on the best concert! Have seen them 3x in the last 5 yrs and are always great!

Saw Def Leppard with Crue. So awesome! These guys were my favorite when I was young and they are favorites of my teenage daughter. I took her to see this show. Last time I saw them was when I was her age. Great experience to share! And the bands sound so good. Thanks guys. Please keep playing, we'll keep coming!

The concert? the best

A beautiful auditorium, very good acoustics, good vision from any point. The concert? the best They are the best, the best concert, the best musicians, a band in gear producing the best music, I love them.

Rockin good time.

I gave it a 4 star since the bug infestation was out of control.

The JMA Dome is not built for a Rock Concert

I've seen Def Leppard before and was really looking forward to them once again but unfortunately the JMA Dome is not a venue that is user friendly to loud Rock Concerts, it really took away from the whole experience, I will never go there again for a concert but I will see Def Leppard again , and again ,and again and....

Awesome Rock Concert!!

The entire concert was terrific. From the parking, to the concessions, to the seats, everything was great!! The sound was really good in the arena and I loved that Def Leppard closed he concert. Def Leppard sounded excellent!! I had a great time at this concert!!

Awesome time

All 3 acts were top tier! You know it's a strong show when you have Alice Cooper is the 3rd act. Even though Def Leopard was the final act I would say Motely Crue was the best of 3 great shows. They played basically every song i would have asked for and not a single weak song, with their melody being a great addition and a way to get a few more songs and great covers in. Only complaint would be that the venue is not really the best for a concert the acoustics were intense with way to much base and reverb which made it hard to clearly hear the words to many songs.

Def Leppard is an excellent rock show! I love the way that they interact with crowd. Fun and entertaining. I am so excited about their new book. We came from Canada to see them at the Fargodome and had a great time. This is the fifth time in concert. Love you guys.

Don't ever go to a concert at Tulsa Univ Stadium

I will never complain about the bands....They all gave an amazing my performance! My review is completely on the venue, Tulsa University. I have attended hundreds of concerts, festivals, both in and out of state and never have I experienced an instance where the prices of beverages change during the show. The cost of an adult beverage went up $10 between the shows. Who does that? Especially in this economy. We didn't get to eat at any of the food trucks because after 30 minutes in line and them not moving we gave up. And please do not get me started on parking. I actually thought boom they actually sent parking instructions, options ahead of time. Booked my $35 parking spot, it took me 40 minutes of driving around and I still never found the spot. All the roads were blocked to get to this parking lot and the 4 staff we asked at different points to find it all gave us directions to incorrect spots. We finally just parked at who knows what building and called it good. Bands....two thumbs up. Venue, parking, costs, lines all get two thumbs down. It would have to be Elvis himself performing at the Tulsa Stadium before I would ever step foot in that venue again.

Def Leppard and Journey Unite for Massive U.S. Stadium Tour

By Andy Greene

Andy Greene

Journey and Def Leppard are teaming up for a massive U.S. summer stadium tour, and they’re bringing Cheap Trick, Steve Miller Band, and Heart with them at various spots along the way. Expect a night of mega Eighties hits like “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Faithfully,” “Photograph” and (depending on where you live) “The Flame,” “Abracadabra,” and “These Dreams.”

“Having just completed a sensational 18 month run promoting our Diamond Star Halos album,” Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott said in a statement, “we shall hit the boards running with a brand-new stage show and set of songs that will celebrate specific parts of our history. We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves … so, wanna join us !??! … See you in the summer !”

Journey guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain have spent the past year battling each other in the court system and the press, but it somehow hasn’t slowed down the band’s touring machine. They crisscrossed the country with Toto last year, and they’re playing arenas together again in the early months of 2024.

ABOUT THE BANDS:

With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the U.S., 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® inductees Def Leppard – Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums) — continue to be one of the most important forces in rock music. Over the course of their career the band has produced a series of classic ground-breaking albums that set the bar for generations of music fans and artists alike. The group’s spectacular live shows and arsenal of hits have become synonymous with their name, leading Def Leppard to be heralded as the world’s greatest live rock band. Def Leppard’s influential career includes numerous hit singles and ground-breaking multi-platinum albums—including two of the best-selling albums of all time, Pyromania and Hysteria, capturing the group’s legendary tracks, bringing together classic Leppard hits such as “Rock of Ages”, Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Foolin.” For the first time, in January 2018 Def Leppard debuted their full recording catalogue worldwide via streaming and download platforms. As they did with the original release of their records, Def Leppard dominated the worldwide charts again, which found their albums charting in the iTunes Top 10 in more than 30 countries, including Hysteria at #3 in the US, and #5 in the UK (36 years after the album had charted at No 1 in the Billboard charts). Def Leppard also had the #1, #2 and #3 records on the US catalogue albums chart. The band have gone on to amass a staggering 5.5 billion streams since 2018, reaching a younger 18-44 demographic that now represents 58% of their fanbase. Additionally, the band have garnered an impressive 15 million followers across their social media platforms. In May 2022, Def Leppard released their twelfth studio album Diamond Star Halos. The album debuted at #1 on the Apple and Amazon Music charts. The album also scored a Top 10 debut on North America’s Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, marking the band’s eighth Top 10 album of their career, and garnered a #1 debut on Billboard’s Hard Rock chart. Diamond Star Halos had numerous Top 10 chart entries globally including a Top 5 debut in the UK. Following the close of their historic 2018 co-headline stadium and arena run in North America, Def Leppard sold in excess of 1,000,000 tickets and the tour grossed over $100,000,000.00, a massive feat in today’s touring world. Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe topped that number yet again with another sold out North American stadium run in 2022 selling over 1.3 million tickets which grossed a staggering $173,500,000.00. As always, the group keep pushing the boundaries with their electrifying live shows.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, the quartet —Vince Neil (vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums) and Mick Mars (guitars) —  has commandeered the rock pantheon for 41 years. The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, garnered 7 USA platinum and multi-platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, 6 Top 20 pop singles, 3  Grammy  nominations, 5  New York Times  best-selling books, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a  Netflix  hit movie. Mötley Crüe continues touring the world with John 5 on guitar as they push the visual limits of live performance.

Mötley Crüe  have amassed over 5 billion streams across digital platforms and the band has over 8 million followers on social media. Known for their iconic live performances, the band has sold-out countless tours across the globe in front of millions of fans with groundbreaking production highlights such as Tommy Lee’s drum-rollercoaster and Nikki Sixx’s flame-throwing-bass. They  pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency with a sold out run in 2012. Mötley Crüe’s hit songs  such as “Kickstart My Heart” and “Home Sweet Home” are frequently licensed by major brands such as  NASCAR, Dodge, Coldwell Banker, Carl’s Jr. and KIA  to name a few and their music can be heard on TV hit shows such as  Stranger Things  and  Cobra Kai  amongst many others.

The band’s biography “The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band” became a New York Times best-seller in 2001 and has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Members of the band have authored 4 additional  New York Times  best-selling books since. In 2019 Netflix premiered “The Dirt” biopic based on the bestselling book which became a global hit movie scoring a 94% positive audience score on  Rotten Tomatoes . As a result, Mötley Crüe gained an entire new generation of young fans who discovered the band through the movie and further solidified their iconic status, relevance and the timelessness of their songwriting.

Fans of the band are also able to buy/rent  The Retaliators  movie on VOD platforms now; Nikki Sixx co-wrote the haunting theme song “21 Bullets”and Tommy Lee makes a cameo appearance in the rock-infused thriller movie. For more info go to  www.retaliatorsmovie.com

Mötley Crüe remains a huge global draw 41 years into their career and, in the summer of 2022 co-headlined a nearly sold out North American stadium tour with Def Leppard. The tour is set to travel to the rest of the world in 2023.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock audiences of all ages.  Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

His 2021 album “Detroit Stories,” inspired by his hometown’s legacy of rock, debuted on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart at #1, and his recent “Live From The Astroturf” video/audio release recently did the same on the UK’s Official Music Video Chart.

While preparing two new albums for 2023 release, Alice continues to do his nightly “Nights With Alice Cooper” syndicated radio show, and still manages to tour up to six months each year on the road.  Alice Cooper continues to bring his own brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does. Known as the architect of shock-rock, Cooper (in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist) has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn, like a great horror movie, even in an era where CNN can present real life shocking images.

Wow, Wow, Wow pretty much sums this up!

Best live performance i have ever seen from start to finish, a proper English rock band still going as strong as ever.

I would have happily paid double the price i did for the tickets! even the wife loved it despite being more into Norah Jones :-)

would highly recommend as these guys won't be around forever so for me to see a band that were/ have been playing before i was even born is an absolute honour and privilege.

20 thousand plus people, the atmosphere was electric with all walks of life present just shows how much impact their music has on all people.

These are proper musicians and the quality just shows.

If you get an opportunity to see these legends live then take it as this would be a regrettable decision.

AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! ICONIC! PROFESSIONAL! TOP CLASS! FANTASTIC! BRILLIANT! SUPERSTARS! and again AMAZING!!!

Def leppard gets better with age.

Saw the Stadium Tour in Seattle on August 31 and it was amazing! Def Leppard has been my favourite rock band since 1981 and they never disappoint on stage. In fact, they seem to get better with age. Their songs are timeless and their new music sounds as good as their songs from the 80s. Highly recommend seeing them in concert when they come to town.

Stadium Tour was great.

Music was great. All four bands were awesome. The only complaint I have for the entire even, was that there were very few booths for swag sales. Making line ups well over 90 mins. Luckily T-Mobile Centre is open enough to see the stage from any line-up. There has to be a better way though.

Good...yet room for improvement

The overallshow was great! Howeved, the sound in the 300 level was so distorted and muffled. I had section 317 row B, the sightlines were great, but the sound was not.

amazing experience!

the show was great!! so much energy from all the bands!! definitely a must see!

Wow !!!!!!!!!

Meuilleur show ever !!!!!!!! Les 4 groupes était trop malade !!!! A voir absolument surtout en FLORIDE JACKSONVILLE

I first saw Def Leppard in Sydney, Australia 30 years ago and 3 more times since in Canada.Cannot wait to see them again next year in Seattle or Sam Francisco. Maybe soon I’ll get to see them play my home venue in England, fingers crossed 🤞.

def leppard was phenominal

one of the best bands i have seen i have been to 6 of their shows over the years and they never cease to amaze me

Pour some Sugar on Me

First time seeing them in Hamilton, but have seen them at other venues. Great seats, and venue. Joe sounded great. I loved how they extended the center stage, more intimate. Enjoyed the song list. Keep rocking guys and hope to see you again

Def Leppard Rocked It in Vegas!!!

Great show....great venue....great crowd - best concert ever attended!!!!

Another Brilliant show!

Do yourself a favor and go and see this show while you can! Small venue for this iconic band, While nice and intimate, they still manage to blow the roof off the place.
