I booked a vacation package through Atlantic travels and had an amazing experience from the first time I called to get information. They were all very professional and helpful with questions I may of had. They made sure my vacation was flawless and everything was booked for me and my family before leaving.

This travel agency is where to go if you want to waste money, time, and end up doing things yourself. At first everything seemed great and they were very helpful but once everything was paid for we were just a number. The day of travel our flight was delayed due to "maintenance issues " and Delta said they weren't able to contact us because our information wasn't provided by the agency needless to say it became a blaming game between the two. On the day of our return once again the flight was delayed and we were NOT notified. I once again give the agency the benefit of the doubt and it was the same situation all over again. They didn't follow up with us to make sure everything was fine and I am still waiting for a call back from the Agency to help me figure things out. Other than payment arrangements we had absolutely no benefit in booking with them. Save yourself some time. If you want things done right do them yourself.

Atlantic Travel was established in 1978, where it first opened its doors in Jamaica, Queens.

In 1990 we joined the agency as full time agents,

and in 1998 we relocated to our present office on Long Island.

After our boss retired in 2002, we bought the business and became the new owners!

We each have over 30 years of travel experience to bring to the table.

And we've carefully chosen the best travel suppliers to partner with,

so you'll have a quality stress-free vacation.

We've expanded from a local agency to a global presence,

Our dedicated staff of travel specialists has decades of professional experience in every product, service, and destination and has connections with all major airlines, hotels, and cruise lines. We can assist you with all your travel arrangements, such as airline tickets, cruising, car rentals, hotel reservations, Amtrak ticketing, tours, leisure travel, group/incentive travel, corporate travel and much more.

Atlantic Travel was founded by Emilio Valdez, a resident of Dorchester, Mass. Our rapid growth over the years is due to the strong support we’ve received from community members and local businesses. TRAVEL TIPS

The planning stage of your trip is very important and can be an enjoyable part of the experience itself. You have a world of options to consider.

Check your passport expiration date; you may be denied entry into certain European countries if your passport is due to expire within three to six months of your ticketed date of return. Get it renewed if you’ll be cutting it close.

Buy Travel Insurance; there are plans that cover “cancel for any reason” which refunds 80% of total trip cost. Anything can happen and for the affordable insurance plan we offer through Allianz, it’s definitely worth it.

If you are bringing kids, make sure you have the right paperwork, including a passport for each one, a letter of consent if only one parent is traveling, or if they are traveling with someone other than their parents.

Before your trip, call your credit card company and your bank (for debit cards) to let them know you’ll be using the cards overseas. This will ensure that they do not decline foreign transactions.
